Link | 1 | 1 | Seven Nautical Miles | Seven Nautical Miles | Sweden | Seven Nautical Miles | Seven Nautical Miles was formed in 2005 by guitarist Simon Wärja and drummer Johan Nordlund in the north of Sweden when the interest for their thrash metal band ended. They wanted to make something different, something with greater emotions than the past pig-kicking could evoke. After a few rehearsals their long time friends Mikael Holmberg and Robert Holmström which played guitar and bass showed their interest. Robert shared the same taste and visions, and Mikael felt like a natural step, since he and Johan had been partners in crime for a long time. SNM still needed a vocalist. Dag Falkman had made a good impression on the guys in SNM, playing in various hardcore/screamo-acts, after one rehearsal Dag got the gig compleating the symbiosis. Under the name Oceans Have No Memory they recorded a demo. The future looked good...

Link | 1 | 1 | KaeoFLUX | KaeoFLUX | United States | Kaeoflux | Ryan Casey KaeoFLUX cut his musical teeth on Martha's Vineyard in the mid nineties, DJing and writing rhymes. With best friend WepOne he formed Komadose while still in high school. When Kaeo moved to Boston in 2001 he joined forced with the Lost Channel crew, and Komadose expanded. A year later they released Komadose – Beta One with help from Ray Archie's Gig City Records. As a DJ, Kaeo possesses rare versatility. He can spin a two-hour set on the radio or sit in with a band on short notice. A rigorous schedule of performances has imbued his turntable abilities with confidence and improvisational verve. Kaeo devotes most of his time, however, to recorded stereophonic sound. Over a skeleton of meticulously sinister percussion programming, Flux synthesizes instrumentalism and sampling with uncanny poise. While developing his idiosyncratic style, he has shared studio/living space with performers and producers working in various directions, from jazz to post-rock. The resulting essence is difficult to define … but is unquestionably hip-hop. Before Kaeo moved to Boston he met up with Jud MacRae. After collaborating on tracks for a few months they formed Pilot Balloon , a band which has recently become Flux's primary focus. In fall of 2003 Kaeo teamed up with film director and actor Patrick McMahill and officially launched Komadose Productions , a post production house for audio, video and film.

In 2011, Tilman was honoured by being one of a small number selected to attend the Banff Workshop in Jazz and Creative Music at the Banff Centre in Canada. Tilman returned to Banff in 2013 to take part in a 2 month Artist in Residence program. Tilman also works extensively in the contemporary music world as a performer, arranger and studio musician. Link | 0 | 1 | David Deejay | David Deejay | David Deejay | Adi Cristian Colceru David Deejay, one of the most popular romanian dj's, was born on December 10, 1980 in Barlad, Romania and now he lives in Bucharest, where he started 6 years ago to play in several big clubs in Bucharest and also to work in a big studio, with two great dance music composers. Very intuitive nature and loving house music, this enabled him to understand very well the connection between club, public and studio work. Not infrequently he has tested his demo traks in the clubs where he played, and the public was ecstatic from the first audition. He understood that the house music must be brough close to the audience soul, trough harmonies and melodic lines closer to the public's heart, but keeping the grooves that define that music. In 2008 he began working with Dony, as vocalist, reflected by the album "Popcorn", realeased in Feb 2010. 'Sexy thing' 'rocked' all the charts and was the first place on many big popular radios in Romania and than outside - Greece, Poland, Turkey and other countries. After, the next singles extracted from this album - "Nasty Dream"and "So Bizzare" were also no. 1 in the charts for many weeks. Now he presents his shows in several versions: with Dony or Ela Rose, as vocalists, and as dj-gig himself or together with Mossano with a very good set, including, of course, all his releases: David Deejay feat. Dony - Sexy Thing David Deejay feat. Dony - Nasty Dream David Deejay feat. Dony - So Bizzare David Deejay feat. Dony - Temptation David Deejay - Dubainian Ela Rose - I can feel(by David Deejay) Morris feat. Sony Flame - Havana Lover (by David Deejay) Mossano - Indianotech(by David Deejay) Mossano - Calenderia(by David Deejay) Kittens - Persia Mossano - Zingarinho Also he's involved in many house projects, as producer and musical manager. He's last realease Mossano - Zingarinho is also a big hit. In 2009, he was the only romanian producer who had 2 singles played in heavy-rotation, on radios, in the same time--"So bizarre' and "Ela Rose-I can feel" He won in 2009 a special Trend-Setter award, on Romanian Music Awards. This is a recognition of the Romanian music industry that, after his release 'Sexy Thing', most dance projects and dj's change their direction of sound. Also, in the summer of 2010 he won "Best Producer" award on Romanian Music Awards.

Adapting its size and instrumentarium to the needs of the performance situation, Scherzi Musicali brings together young singers and instrumentalists willing to rethink the approach to early music and seeking to serve it with a genuine concern for musicological relevance. While aiming to rediscover lost gems of a forgotten musical heritage, Scherzi Musicali nevertheless do not neglect the key works of the repertoire, be they secular, sacred or operatic.

Link | 0 | 1 | Newstyler | Newstyler | German Hardcore producer | Newstyler | Patrick Malcherek Styles: Mainstream Hardcore / early Hardcore / Darkcore Date of birth: 16-07-1985 Residence: Aachen - Germany References: Megarave, Syndicate, Earthquake, A Nightmare in Rotterdam, Raving Nightmare, Intenze, Proud 2 be Hardcore, Hellraiser, Hard Emotions, Enzyme Incubation, Toxication, Neophyte - Live & Loud, Nightmare Outdoor, Hardcore Warriors, Cherry Moon etc. Biography: His interest in hardcore music already began with the age of thirteen. From then on he was always in touch with the scene. Beginning 2001 he visited his first hardcore parties, among others in the discotheke Peppermill in Heerlen/NL and Blue Palace in Belgium. His love for this music grew further and further from this time on. In 2003 he bought his first vinyl and DJ-equipment. One year later DJ Newstyler began practicing regulary to improve his mixing technique and mixed many demo CDs. On 31th October 2004 he had his first performance in discotheke Spuugh (Vaals/NL). Early 2005 he started making music together with D-Ceptor, Stylewars, D.O.T. and MC Violence. His first gig on a bigger event (Raving Nightmare) was in Tarm Center Cologne 16th July 2005, which was followed some months later by his first gig at Intenze. During this term of his career he also played at several smaller events in Germany, Belgium and Holland. 2006 he was also booked as resident DJ at Club Quinta in Belgium and spinned there every saturday. Later on his bookings became more and he was also seen at bigger events all over Germany. Starting 2008 he got rewarded for his engagement. His talent was discovered by Underground House Movement and he became one of their Artists. With that, Newstyler was one of the most booked Hardcore DJs from Germany in 2008 and 2009, this ranking is still valid nowadays. In the year 2009 DJ Newstyler purchased his first software and hardware equipment to start producing his own hardcore tracks in his home-studio. He worked very hard on his producer/DJ carreer to steady his name in the scene. 2010 he tied in with this success and produced together with D-Ceptor and Triax the track "Our Game" that was released A1 on [UHMR09] Raving Nightmare - Man's Inhumanity EP. Later in 2010 the next highspot, on 23th May the Proud 2 Be Hardcore concept was dedicated to his name: "Proud 2 Be Hardcore - Newstyler in Charge!" took place with 4 areas at Matrix Bochum in Germany. The result of this event was a big success. Climax of his career till now were performances at A Nightmare in Rotterdam, Earthquake, Syndicate, Enzyme Incubation , Hellraiser and Megarave.

As of 2011 ranked as the 104th richest person in the USA. In the mid 60s he was bassist in a rock band called [a=The Lions Of Judea] who had some slight success in London and were signed to Polydor. No records were released, but the band appeared on Colour Me Pop in July 1969. Formed Saban Entertainment in 1988 with his friend [a=Shuki Levy]. Saban owns the rights to and is credited as co-writer on some 3,700 theme tunes and scores, including some of the themes for the best known children's animations of the 1980s, including Inspector Gadget, He-Man, She-Ra, Mysterious Cities Of Gold and M.A.S.K.. However it is alleged he did not write all these, having paid the actual unknown songwriters a one-off fee for the rights, a common arrangement in Hollywood.

Link | 0 | 1 | insanlar | insanlar | Turkey | Insanlar | Insanlar (literally Humankind in Turkish, but with a deeper and esoteric meaning behind) got together first in the last months of 2010 - with Baris K and Cem Yıldız in the helm - as an inhouse jam band for the Anatolian pop/rock revival series, Minipop, which was then starting to take place in Istanbul’s Minimüzikhol, the network’s home club. From this organic friends network, whichincluded many names like Turkish hip-hop superstar Kabus Kerim to dancer Bahar from Baba Zula and percussionist Sinan Tansal from iconic rock bands Karapaks and Mavi Sakal; Insanlar evolved into a more stable core band with Istanbul’s superstar drummer Alican Tezer(Ayyuka, Büyük Ev Ablukada, ex-Athena) being the third permanent member in the band.Their shamanistic techno folk hybrid, rooted firmly in Anatolian Alewi religious poetry, and their energetic, almost punkish attitude created a mystic following around the bandsimprovised early shows. The release of the hypnotic stomper “Kime Ne” on UK’s Honest Jon’s label in 2015, catapulted the band on to the international stage, where their idiosyncratic mixture of traditional Anatolian/Mesopotamian instrumentation, electronic music and spiritual/philosophical lyrics continue to captivate festival audiences.
