His grandfather, Dr. Nicanor Jacinto, founded the Philippine Bank of Commerce, which was the first Filipino-owned private bank, and RJ’s father, Don Fernando P. Jacinto founded the steel industry in the country—Jacinto Steel and Iligan Integrated Steel Mills, which are now known as National Steel. At the age of 15, RJ Enterprises pioneered in multi-track recording in the Philippines, utilizing the first three multi-track Ampex in Southeast Asia. RJ Graduated from the number one Jesuit Catholic University in the Philippines. He graduated with Honors in BS Economics and promptly worked with the family business, becoming Vice President for Purchasing and Marketing and eventually becoming Senior Vice President for Operations of the steel conglomerate at a very young age. While working, he also went to law school at night and had finished three years when Marshall Law was declared on September 21, 1972. At odds with the Marcos Dictatorship, RJ’s family happened to be abroad celebrating Don Fernando’s birthday, and the family decided to remain in exile for 14 years. After the People’s EDSA Revolution on February 25, 1986, RJ came home from exile on March 5, 1986, and the new democratic regime returned the family properties and his radio stations. Those assets were seized and operated by the military for 14.5 years. RJ’s radio station, DZRJ, became the voice of the democratic revolution, known as Radyo Bandido, and was the recipient of freedom awards after that. RJ immediately expanded his radio stations and started many businesses after that, making up for lost time. Today, the RJ Group is composed of broadcasting, entertainment, and music store enterprises. This includes a nationwide network of 11 total FM and AM radio stations and a TV station, 2nd Avenue, which is carried nationwide by the cable networks. The RJ broadcasting group is known to be the prime movers of locally produced music, discovering many talents from the 60s on, who have become name-brand entertainers in the Philippine music scene. RJ FM 100.3, the flagship radio station of the group, plays the greatest and the latest hits from five decades, packaging it as three songs in a row. Its programming format has been popularly lauded as a groundbreaking formula and is streamed 24 hours a day via Facebook and on the web. Its primary markets are the movers and shakers, decision makers, and upwardly mobile youth. RJ FM DJs, namely Steve O’Neal and Renen de Guia, owner of Ovation Productions, have become major producers and promoters of the biggest and hottest concerts in the Philippines. RJ, upon returning from exile, became a major factor in revolutionizing the Philippine music scene again from pioneering electric guitar and rock and roll in 1960 by bringing back live bands to the music scene in the Philippines. RJ started Bistro RJ on July 25, 1986. It became the home of rock and roll in the country, featuring live bands 7 days a week. Today, over 25 years after, RJ Bistro stands as a monument to its standing power, still drawing jam-packed crowds at the Dusit Thani Hotel, where he still performs every Friday night. RJ has been performing for over 50 years in the show business industry and celebrated that milestone with a concert with his idols from his teenage years, The Ventures, in December of 2010. He has performed not only locally, but also abroad in Australia, Vietnam, and the USA. He also performed with America and the Beach Boys in the country’s premier venue, the Araneta Coliseum. RJ Productions, an affiliate of the RJ group, produced the groundbreaking and historical Pinoy Woodstock as well as nationwide band competitions known as Junior Jam, parking lot concerts, and many other cutting-edge recordings and shows. The RJ Group has also engaged in guitar manufacturing since 1988, partnering initially with the owner of Schecter, Joey Uy. RJ has designed his own brand of guitars and eventually expanded into retailing and wholesaling a wide line of musical instruments. The RJ Guitar company, at one time or another, was the exclusive distributor of Gibson and Epiphone, Promark, Tama, Ibanez, Paiste (Pai-steh), Kaman (Kay-man), Sabian, Rickenbacker, Taylor, Alesis, D’Addario, GHS, Ernie Ball, Di Marzio, Dunlop, Soundtrack, Randall, Peavey, Crate, Orange, Takamine, and Casio Keyboards. Born in 1963, the german ambient artist lives in the Taunus close to his home town Frankfurt. In 1982 he started his musical career as a drummer and later as a guitarist and singer in several bands. In the early 90's he began to write his own songs in his home studio, to which he contributed all the instruments himself. Together with the Cologne sound engineer and producer Thorsten Rentsch 1996, he founded the electronics project Art Of Infinity and in 2004 they signed a record deal with the German label BSC Music/Prudence. Since 2005 Thorsten Sudler-Mainz is active as a solo artist with DEEP IMAGINATION and published three albums so far, which are characterized by electronic and atmospheric ambient sounds: "Scapes" (2005), "Gemstones" (2008) and "Awareness" (2010). As a self confessed admirer of Pink Floyd TSM names ambient, art rock, gothic, heavenly voices, trip-hop and electronic music as influences, from which he developed his very own musical signature over the years. As Deep Imagination he’s performed concerts at venues including “Satzvey Castle Festival” and “Zeiss Planetarium Bochum”. In 2011 the EP „Live at Electronic Circus Festival“ was released with recordings from the Bielefeld “Movie”. Music from the most successful album to date “Awareness” has been available on Lufthansa Radio on international flights. Thorsten Sudler-Mainz started work on his new solo album in November 2013, fusing all elements of his musical spectrum in one project. As a result DEEP IMAGINATION combines atmospheric electronic elements with voice and guitar. Heralding the fourth studio album, the maxi single “Dancing with ghosts”, was released November 2015, with the new album awaited in 2016.

If you go back to the blues, gospel and old-time music, these are musical traditions that are filled with songs about restless people on the road,trains, cars and feet moving through a landscape. It can be a physical journey, moving from A to B, but often, it is just as much an inner journey towards peace and salvation or an escape from a haunting past. The New York-born singer Indra has been on a musical journey for a long time. In the liner notes for the album Heartland (Impulse!, 2015), she explains how music has always been a sanctuary and the act of singing has helped her moving into an emotional space: "where the mind doesn't interfere." On this particular album, the space is inhabited by songs that have meant a lot to the singer: "These songs are all songs that traverse the territories of the heart. They are tunes that helped me and gave me space to rest even in the middle of the whirlwind of life." The whirlwind that the singer refers to is the death of her mother and the birth of her son. The complex relationship between life and death, joy and sadness, is a motif throughout the album, along with the journey. The singer and her small band, with saxophonist Benjamin Traerup, bassist Thomas Sejthen and guitarist Uffe Steen, supplemented by the empathic drummer Jay Bellerose, draw from a deep well of songs, everything from gospel, blues and old-time music to David Bowie, Pink Floyd and Duke Ellington. It is a diverse repertoire, but the different songs are unified by the warm, intimate, acoustic sound of the band. It is soulful and sparse, but also sophisticated and jazzy. Indra simple peels off the layers of time and distance from the songs and she brings them back into the heart of humanity. An example is the band's stunning interpretation of David Bowie's grandiose song "Heroes" that is transformed into a slow, glowing ballad, with Benjamin Traerup's spiraling saxophone and an earthy rhythm section. The song becomes a narrative of sadness, beauty and redemption and this could be said about the whole album. It visits an emotional heartland without any trace of irony. This is honest music, music from the heart. The first long term crew got on board in November 2000 for a period of five months; their main task is the activating of the most important systems on the space station. The crew gives the music an excellent feedback and is published on earth in 2001 under the title ‘Music for the ISS’. The release of the second ORBIENT album was in 2005...under dramatic conditions. After a routine visit of the two music producers to the station for the purpose of checking the new sound modules, their re-entry into earth’s atmosphere went without problem, and the mission was concluded in the Kosmodrom Baikonur (Kazakhstan). However during the flight from Baikonur to Star City Moscow the transport plane an Antonov, disappeared from ground controls radar screen 30 minutes after take-off...the search for wreckage found nothing. In spite of this the record company decides to release the new album. But ORBIENT is filed as missing. Years go past, the space shuttle program is terminated, GRAVITY is shown in cinemas...and then it happens: in September 2014 a member of the staff at the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roskomos) discovers during the checking of satellite pictures, a silhouette outline of the missing Antonov in the Karakum desert of Turkmenistan, far from the assumed course of the plan What nobody anymore could believe: ORBIENT were alive...in spite of many years fighting for survival they and the crew of the plane are in good mental and physical form. By miracle not only the people but also their music equipment had survived unharmed the crash nine years previous. The crew of the emergency helicopter where the first to get an impression when they landed next to the Antonov and heard – slightly distorted by atmospheric noise, Drum loops and Bass sounds the following audio sample: “Ich fühle mich ganz sicher, ganz geborgen” (I feel very save and protected). Now ORBIENT have a long awaited new album - ‘REBOOT - which came out December 5th, 2014 and is available on iTunes and other online stores.

It was playing this kit that he realized that he had a half-decent feel for rhythm and a good ear for music. The early lessons in the essentials of drum patterns and rhythm has recently led to a solid foundation in what Loz considers to be one of the most crucial components in his own production. After a fairly long period of time in various bands playing drums and guitar Loz turned his attention to electronic music, after hearing Roygbiv by Boards of Canada playing at a friends house. This track changed things to an extent and saw him fall into the world of synthesisers, drum machines, samplers and controllers. Loz’s style is typically warm and smooth house music with plenty of funk, disco and jazz sampling thrown in. Being completely self-taught has enabled Loz to develop his style and own ‘sound’ much more quickly than he thinks he would have done if taught by someone else. Having someone to tell you how something is done when making art of any kind takes away from it's personal nature – this is an idea he stands by. Loz has released previously on Large Music, Nathan G’s Luvbug imprint, and Kolour. More recently though he’s concentrated his efforts on making and playing more vinyl records and has recently released on Outplay, Editorial, Secret Reels and Dirt Crew’s ‘Deep Love 15’ compilation. Regarding his recent productions and DJ sets... just expect warm and deep vibes laced with funk and disco kinda tones. You can also catch Loz & guests on the 1st Monday and 2nd Friday of every month for his Downtown Groove Sessions on Westradio and DE Radio, respectively at 8pm GMT and 7pm GMT. Past guests have featured Fouk, Nachtbraker, Art of Tones, Thatmanmonkz, Paxton Fettel, Purple Velvet and his recent collaboration partner Harry Wolfman.

He died in New York City on June 27, 1989.

Shortly before her decision to devote her life to preaching full time, she founded an orphanage and had spent a number of years developing pieces of artwork inspired by her love for the scriptures. In 1980 she was called to go to a "better place" and died in her sleep, in New Orleans. In the 1970's, a few years before her death, recordings were made of her singing and playing the tambourine. The recordings, entitled "Let's Make A Record", were later used to generate new interest in Sister Gertrude Morgan when they were given the modern remix treatment by genre blending producer King Britt almost 30 years after they were first made. By 2005, renewed interest in her artwork also resurfaced. A New York Times art critic described her work as "painted epiphanies" that were "hugely endearing".

Drummer Rob Kloet also from Nits and ex-Nits members Laetitia Van Krieken and Arwen Linnemann are also members of Ho Orchestra. Henk Hofstede has participated in the recording of Simon Ho's two studio albums "Before Sleep" (2002) and "If" (2005). In order to celebrate the release of "If", Simon Ho set out on tour with his Swiss band and at the end of the tour, two special concerts in February 2005 at Kaserne Basel in Basel (Switzerland) reunited most of the musicians involved in the recording. It was a pan-European meeting of talent: fourteen musicians, eight women and six men from Switzerland, Holland, Ireland, Germany and Finland formed a band called Ho Orchestra. These two gigs were recorded and a selection of the best recordings of those two evenings were released on the album "A Normal Sunday Live" (2006). It contains songs by Simon Ho, Nits, [a=Värttinä] and [a=Markku Lepistö]. On September 4th 2010 Ho Orchestra performed live at Theaterspektakel in Zürich, Switzerland. This concert was recorded and released as an album called "Spoon River - A Lakeside Concert" (2011). The lyrics on this album by [a=Eric Facon] are inspired by Spoon River Anthology and The New Spoon River by American poet [a=Edgar Lee Masters].

Terms like techno, synth music, soundscape & Industrial are all fitting whilst they don’t fully capture the project. One of the strongest apsects of Body Sculptures is that the individual members come from different musical backgrounds and bring very different work methods and sound pallets to the body of work.
