Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Su impacto fue histórico, convirtiéndose en pioneros de la música cristiana norteña, inspirando a multitudes y llevando a innumerables almas a los pies de Cristo, demostrando que Dios transforma vidas para Su gloria. Tony Sauceda, with his bajo sexto, grew musically alongside Lorenzo Reyes, forming a friendship bound by music and the experiences of the artistic journey, until Tony was hired by Ramón Ayala, which led him to part ways with Lorenzo and continue his professional path. In 1974, during an evangelistic campaign, Tony was deeply broken by God, repented from his heart, ended his tour, and left Los Bravos del Norte and Ramón Ayala to dedicate his life and his voice solely to singing for Christ. With this new fire in his spirit, Tony returned with the poet Ben Piña, drummer and friend of Tony: Raúl Pérez of Los Relámpagos del Norte, and Antonio Monzón, guitarist from Generación de Jesús, and they came to the door of Lorenzo Reyes to evangelize. Lorenzo welcomed them, listened to the message, and that moment became the beginning of his personal encounter with Christ. Now, together with Tony, his brother Juan Luis Sauceda, Lencho, and Raúl Pérez, the group Los Misioneros was born. Their impact was historic, becoming pioneers of Christian norteño music, inspiring multitudes and leading countless souls to the feet of Christ, proving that God transforms lives for His glory. |

Vinayakrao Patwardhan's singing reflected the simple and straightforward approach to ragas, which is the characteristic of the Gwalior Gharana style. His favorite ragas included ''Bahar'', ''Adana'', ''Multani'', ''Malhar'', ''Jaijaivanti'', ''Hameer'' and ''Bhairav-bahar''. He performed in most of the important music festivals. He was one of the few practicing musicians of the time who wrote textbooks on music. In his seven-part ''Raaga Vigyan'' series, Vinayakrao described the important aspects of various ragas as well as their grammar. In his concerts and recordings, his fellow-student Narayanrao Vyas accompanied Vinayakrao. |

| Search | Add | 21 | Nick Kohut | Nicholas Lee James Kohut | Nick Kohut's first engagement with music was with personal friend Andrew Clark in mid-2005. The two formed a duo called A.N.T. (Andrew Nick Techno) in which Andrew played piano and guitar and Nick played drums. The two recorded through 2006 and completed two albums, "The Bedroom Sessions" and "Eraser." Over the next few years, their creation of new music thinned out until Andrew Nick Techno was no more. Eventually, Nick joined Dan Espie and Matt Conway in forming the group Project 3.1 and writing many songs. After three years together and several additional members, Project 3.1 dispersed. Nick began recording music on his own, playing drums and then dubbing guitar or even vocals over. Most of his work was rock and soundtrack-related. In late 2009, he began creating electronic music under his long-lived nickname "JudoJoe" and is currently recording music both as "Nick Kohut" as well as "JudoJoe." In January of 2010, Nick reunited with old friend Andrew Clark to start a rock trio with Josh F. Saitta. They came up with a three-song set entitled "Who We Are" to be their first official release and eventually chose the name Blind Children. |

The idea was to give Animae Capronii a "fresh start", fully separating from its past. Also, the music was intended to have less black metal influence in the music than before, focusing more on heavy/power metal. In addition to CDr, all releases are available for free download from Mediafire. Note: Some copies of Trust Your Heart's albums are in color, and some are in black-and-white. This is just a consequence of the albums being made by hand. Unless otherwise specified, both color variations are official, and do not come from separate runs/versions.

Vladimir Glotzer is best known for his extensive research and publications of the early-Soviet era avantgardists and neo-futurists, most notably, OBeRIu group (the "Union of Real Art;" ОБэРИу, Объединение Реального Искусства in Russian), including [a=Daniil Charms], Alexander Vvedensky and Nikolay Oleynikov. In the 1990 and 2000s, he was heavily criticized as an official representative of Alexander Vvedensky's estate, effectively blocking any writer's publications and aggressively prosecuting several publishers. Vladimir Glotser began his career as a secretary for Korney Chukovsky and Samuil Marshak. Between the 1950s and 1970s, he was a head of a literary studio at the Lomonosov Children's Library. Glotser also directed numerous radio plays, with over 50 children's LPs and 10" records released by Melodiya. In modern Russia, Vladimir Glotser focused on early-Soviet experimental literature, primarily [a=Daniil Charms] and Alexander Vvedensky. In the 1980s, he assembled and published memoirs of renowned painter Alisa Poret (1902—1984), which served as one of the primary biographical sources on Kharms. In 1996, he tracked down the writer's second wife, Marina Durnovo (née Malich; 1909—2002), who escaped the Soviet Union after Daniil Charms passed away in 1942 and lived in Venezuela at the time. Glotser taped a series of interviews with Marina, subsequently published as a critically acclaimed My husband Daniil Kharms memoir in 2000. Since the early 1990s, Vladimir Glotser had officially represented Alexander Vvedensky's estate. His approach was heavily criticized, as Glotser effectively made the writer's texts unavailable by demanding non-negotiable and unreasonable royalties and threatening legal action for unauthorized publications. Moreso, Glotser sued several companies for pre-existing material. According to renowned philologist Mikhail Meilakh (who co-published a four-volume "samizdat" edition by Daniil Charms in Bremen, Germany, in 1978–88), Glotser's lawsuit against "Sovetsky Pisatel" printing house for '94 OBeRIu Poets book drove the publisher out of business. |

| Search | Add | 21 | Rawlston Charles | Charles was born in Tobago, moving to Trinidad when he was 15. Shortly after that, he migrated to the United States, where he got involved in the automobile business, repairing, buying and selling cars. The transition from this lucrative enterprise to the shaky ground of the music arena came gradually and quite by chance. Nowhere in his plans did Charles ever intend to become involved with the recording industry—the closest he had ever come to musical activities had been as a member of the church choir during his teens. Charles had travelled to the US with his copy of Kitchener’s 1967 album. He began to add to his calypso collection, and would take his records with him whenever he went liming or partying on weekends. Eventually he started to DJ at these events and things just took off. It was very hard to get calypso records, but as a DJ Charles would not play any other music. Calypso records also cost more, as they had to be imported into the US.So Charles opened his own record store, on July 4,1972, and the next year he began to travel back to Trinidad to make contact with calypsonians and bandleaders, get their music and take it back to the States. Next he became an executive producer and started Charlie’s Records. The first production on the label was an album entitled Labor Day in Brooklyn with Mano Marcellin—which didn’t even sell 100 copies. This did not stop Charles, who admitted that at the time he knew nothing of the music business, so he set out to get it right by connecting with the right people. By 1975 Charles was putting out music from just about every major calypso and soca act of the day. Then, in 1977, he hit upon what would be the artist and the song that finally earned him the respect of the biggest players in the arena, when he made a judgment call on a piece of music that at first left people saying he was a madman. But when Calypso Rose became the first woman ever to win the Road March title, everyone admitted that Charles was not only a man with vision, but also had a sixth sense when it came to what would make a hit. Charles built and opened his recording studio in 1984. It was used not only by calypso and soca artistes, but also some of the biggest names in the East Coast hip-hop fraternity, such as Dougie Fresh, Slick Rick, and RUN-DMC. The gold records they were awarded were once proudly displayed in the studio’s hallway, but most of them were stolen some years ago and only a couple of them were salvaged. As for the music business today, despite all the changes there is hope, he says. “Fifteen years ago the youth were not interested in soca, but now, with the young artistes coming in, the youth are interested in the music and even exploring what was there before. I am here,” says this veteran, “looking forward to a bright future.” | |

Turner (1948–2012) was a German artist who embraced the European echoes of the hippie movement, psychedelic drugs, Tibetan mysticism, shamanism, and the creative possibilities that early 1980s consumer technology offered in image and sound. His work consists of photographs, micro-edition art magazines, mail-art letters and postcards, and electronic music, which he used in audiovisual performances, or released in small handmade cassette editions. Prior to producing his solo work Ho. Turner was a member of the collective Electronic Sun from Büdingen, Germany. During the time of its existence, 1970–1971, this band had not produced a single recording. Electronic Sun was known for their improvisatory, collective live experiences, of which only one had officially been announced as a concert. |

| Search | Add | 21 | Mr. P Chill | William Rhoten | Mr. P Chill is an independent hip hop emcee and producer with three decades of experience as a recording and touring artist. With the recent release of his 14th full length album, L.I.F.E. - Living In Fragile Environments (2021), there is no sign that this Sacramento hip hop vet is stopping any time soon. Beginning his career as a recording artist in Sacramento, CA in 1992 with the release of his former group’s first cassette single, Chill has not only embraced what it means to be an emcee, but has also shown a flair for entrepreneurism as he has chosen the path of independence with the start of his own label. Over the next ten years, he remained active with his former group, recording and performing as well as being involved in the production of various projects from other Sacramento artists. Around the start of the 21st century, Chill was less active with music as he was faced with a crossroad. In 2001, he disbanded his original group and decided to go solo. The first release was his self titled debut album in 2002. Also that year, Chill began touring the West Coast, performing shows in various bars and small music venues in support of this record. By 2007, Chill was performing an average of 50-60 shows a year all over California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington, while maintaining a full time day job. In 2010, after burning the candle at both ends for a decade, Mr. P Chill went walked away from the 9 to 5 and devoted 100% of his energy to music and touring. In the fifteen years since, he has expanded his touring to cover the entire US at least once per year, alongside smaller regional tours throughout the year. Chill spends on average, ⅔ of every calendar year on the road, performing songs, selling merchandise and most importantly, connecting with fans. Also in recent years, Mr. P Chill has had the pleasure of collaborating in the studio and sharing the stage with legendary emcees such as Spyder-D, 2Mex, Cee Knowledge (aka Doodlebug of Digable Planets), Percee P, The Great Peso (Fearless Four), Sach Illpages (The Nonce), Sage Francis, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Terminology, Masta Ace and Fatlip (The Pharcyde), just to name a few. Most notably, his single with hip hop pioneer, Spyder-D, entitled “No Regrets” spent several months in rotation on college radio from coast to coast in late 2015. In October 2015 the song was featured by the legendary founder of Public Enemy, Chuck D, on his weekly radio show, “Songs That Mean Something”, on WBAI Radio in NYC and streamed worldwide on rapstation.com. In March 2017, Mr. P Chill and The Great Peso of the Fearless Four released a single called “R U Wit It” which enjoyed regular airplay on college radio and on rapstation.com. On the weekly radio show, Hip Hop Gods Radio, the single charted for 13 weeks, peaking at #1 in July 2017. Most recently his song "Social Distancing" from his most recent L.I.F.E. album, that he collaborated with Cee Knowledge on, charted at #1 on the same chart in August of 2020 after several months in rotation on rapstation.com, Hip Hop Gods Radio and various college and community radio stations across the United States. Also from the L.I.F.E. album, the song "Diggin' (Crate Digger's Anthem)" charted on the Hip Hop Gods top 20 and hit #1 after 12 weeks climbing the charts. The future looks bright for Mr. P Chill, a man who remains focused as he enters his prime. Chill is guided by his positive attitude, his heartfelt lyrics and his connection to hip hop’s golden era. |

| Search | Add | 20 | Adam Peter Shinn | Adam Peter Shinn hails from the Queen City streets of Charlotte, North Carolina. This is where he develops his unique blend of sonic soundscapes in his home studio: APS studios. Adam has more than twenty years experience as a multi-instrumentalist and music producer. His interest in music as a whole dates back as far as he can remember. "Growing up, I would go out to our driveway to shoot hoops. At the same time, I would hum melodies in my head. Back then, I wished I had a way to get those ideas down so all my friends could hear them. The creative medium of music is my favorite because when it's done right, the emotion is so real. That's true for both the performer and the listener." Shinn's goal is to find a way to express his emotions through music by any appropriate method. "If I'm feeling peaceful and serene, I'll go that route. If a song needs a traditional intro-verse-hook-bridge-outro structure, I'll take it there. But I won't limit myself. You can't limit music. It's all about vibe and less about tradition. I'm trying to be original and true to my senses, which is my mission as a creative." | |
