Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 15 | The Woodfalls Band | Vale Road, Woodfalls, Salisbury. Wiltshire. SP5 2LT Nationally, brass band enthusiasts have heard of The Woodfalls Band, but most are intrigued to know where they are situated. Woodfalls is a small village 9 miles South of Salisbury and just one mile from the beautiful New Forest. There are under 1000 people living in the village, but the enthusiasm for music is traditionally very high and musical talent is in abundance. The original idea to form a band at Woodfalls was by Charles and George Mitchell in 1874 at the foundation ceremony of the new Methodist Chapel. Soon, with John Green and other young men from the village they met to form the band, in fact most were from three families, the Greens, Warners and Mitchells. In the early days the members met as often as they could in the house of William Green and in the summer at the request of Mr. Mark Warner in the local chapel. George and Charles Mitchell gave the first music instruction. At first they could only master hymns and eventually attached themselves to the local “Band of Hope” organization, playing hymns at their meetings and for local school treats. The earliest recorded event was in 1882, when Captain Foster, of the Salvation Army was improperly imprisoned and on his release was marched through Salisbury to a tremendous reception by the Woodfalls Temperance Band. | |

| Search | Add | 15 | Arthur Buezo | Arthur Buezo | Arthur's one-man band of self-branded savage folk is an experience not to be missed! The music is an engrossing fusion crisscrossing the gritty sounds of the desert, fueling a sense of a once Wild West meeting Middle-Eastern mystics and gypsy travelers along the way. It is driving and edgy, yet deeply contemplative and connective to many of the landscapes that nurtured a given song’s inspiration. Born in upstate New York, Arthur now resides in Southern Oregon. He has toured all over the US in 2023, playing over 100 shows from coast to coast. Taken from his bandcamp page.. "Where Arthur Buezo is from and has developed cant be pin-pointed, as he has travelled all of his life. Throughout these travels, music has been the main constant for him. Arthur Buezo has been a professional musician since 2010 and now is a One-Man-Band performer bringing the self titled genre, Savage Folk. While keeping original music live and well, sooner or later he will come to your venue" |

He recorded as a vocalist for several record labels and orchestras between 1927-1937 including Enoch Light (1927), Veo's Hotel McAlpin Orchestra (1928-29). He recorded several sides for Russ Carton's High Steppers Orchestra on the Crown label and in 1932 he made a series of recordings as Harold Van Emburgh and his Orchestra which also featured his singing. Between 1934-1937 he was a vocalist with Jolly Coburn and His Orchestra for Victor Records. He also sang with The Knickerbockers and the Joe Green Novelty Orchestra. |

| Search | Add | 15 | Gooloo | Doing doughnuts in the parking lot of noise rock, hardcore, metal, math rock, no wave, and suburban punk, mid-90s Chicago band gooloo were known for their spazzy live show punctuated by antisocial antics and an inability to tune their guitars with any urgency. Founded as an instrumental two-piece in 1994 by high school friends Andrew Coon (Quatre Tete) and Mark William Pearson (Neptune), they soon tapped local weirdo guitar champ Adam Covalsky (ROM), who in turn brought in boy genius Paul Medrano (ROM) on bass and the quartet was complete. They released a 7" and one full length CD entitled Monkey By Default, recorded by Chicago punk legend Chuck Uchida, via the short-lived-but-influential Boston gnarler label Super 8 Records. Now available again digitally via Wrong Whole Archival Bureau, the Welcome To Atlantis/Cut It Out 7" has been remixed from 8 track cassette by Mark William Pearson and Monkey By Default has been remastered, along with bonus tracks, from the original DAT masters by Scott Craggs of Old Colony Mastering. While not well celebrated, gooloo maniacally sputtered down a path not many bands were taking at the time and possibly influenced someone somewhere. Maybe. | |

| Search | Add | 15 | INSHYSVIT | Oleksandr Hladun | Ukrainian musician Oleksandr Hladun, renowned for his primary project Dunaewsky69, ventures into new musical territory with the project INSHYSVIT. This project offers ambient and dark ambient with elements of melodic noise, reflected in its unpredictable sonic experiments. INSHYSVIT releases bring together archival recordings from the early stages of the musician's career and new compositions created today and recently, some of which are utilized during performances at international festivals and live shows. The main concept of the project lies in creating album series that function as serials, unfolding a single story through different musical stages. Each year represents a new narrative, and each month brings forth a new album, challenging oneself to evolve and build upon the creative process. It's not just a challenge for oneself but also a way to explore a wide spectrum of musical ideas deeply. Each story depicted on an album embodies philosophical and historical foundations, adding substance and depth to the musical material. Album covers are designed as parts of a unified artistic image, reflecting the unique inner world of each release. |

Founder of Magic Waves Internet Radio in 2006, then presenter of Magic Waves on Intergalactic FM since 2009. Notably put on a series of six Magic Waves Festivals in London, Berlin and The Hague between 2009 and 2016. Also co-founder of Cyber Dance Records in 2004 and Per Musica Ad Astra in 2016, and sole founder and head of the Magic Waves label and various other smaller DIY and sub-labels. James is also known for his extensive past DJ catalogue and performances around the world as Casionova, being one of the first DJs to initiate the Italo Disco Revival, before switching to doing ambient, soundtrack, experimental and IDM radio mixes exclusively in 2017. His experiments with sound began in the early 1990s making recordings at home and experimenting with drum machines, sampler and tape as well as his guitar and fx pedals, and he has produced ever since as wide a variety of music himself as he has played on the radio - from the Italo-Electro pseudonym Casionova to his Kosmsiche and Ambient alias 4-D Traveller, with many notable side-projects along the way including Planetary Technicians, Esper Connection, Celestial Mechanics, and various others. While the Casionova alias was retired from active duty in 2017 various edits have since appeared on labels like the cult Centre Neptune and the archival Italian label Giorgio Records. He currently goes mainly under the 4-D Traveller and Planetary Technicians names for electronic productions, and The Dusty Wizard for presenting radio and his lo-fi rock guitar work. James is known for his passionate independent anti-industry stance and belief in Undeground DIY music and Art ethics, and this can be seen in the large amounts of home-made tape releases he puts out. He is also a visual artist, painting or drawing many of his own sleeves.

As someone with a deep history in the culture, he began making music at a young age under the name Confession 15, which later changed into his main project Lost In A World Of Ghosts, a name which was derived from a collection of lyrics from the Industrial outfit Nine Inch Nails. He also briefly had a Grind project under the name Hayfever which was incredibly short-lived. Although he had made a multitude of releases under Lost In A World Of Ghosts throughout 1995 - 2003, these recordings were never released to the public. In 2020, he befriended Experimental Industrial musician SinThya The Devil, in which they formed the Harsh Noise-Influenced Industrial outfit Velvet Leather Vamptoys. In May of 2021, Davis officially signed on to SinThya's independent label SinThya Music, where a multitude of select tracks from the previously unreleased Lost In A World Of Ghosts would be reworked and released as well as remastered under the label.

| Search | Add | 15 | Yun Young Ah | 윤영아 | Yun Young Ah (윤영아) born November 13, 1972, is a South Korean singer, who rose to fame in the early 90s with the song 미니 데이트 (Minidate), which is her most popular song up to date. Her well known song "Minidate" is a cover from a Taiwanese movie soundtrack called “Wolf 7” in the late 80s. The song was originally recorded in Mandarin by Jin Yulan, then a Korean version was recorded by Seoul Family in 1989. After winning the Grand Prize in the 1990 KBS Youth Creative Song Festival for her song "오선지에 그리는 슬픔", Minidate was presented to her and was recorded for her debut album in 1991, along with 2 other tracks from the Wolf 7 soundtrack. Following the success of her first album, Young Ah released the albums “Out Door” (1993) and “A Sexy Glance” (1995). After taking a break from the music industry, Young Ah made a comeback in early 2007 within the Korean trot genre. Two new singles “오빠” and “빨리와” were released. Shortly, The First Single Album was released, having “빨리와” as the title track, and which includes new tracks and a new version of Minidate, in a Samba infused Trot style. In early 2008, the album received a reissue called “오빠 사랑해”, having the song revamped to suit more of the trot genre and became the title track for the reissue. It received promotion until late 2008. Young Ah then left the music industry, and continued to perform in various events such as fashion and theatre shows. In 2020, Young Ah made a comeback, appearing on the show "Sing Again" in South Korea as contestant #50. New singles were released such as Minidate 2021, Baby Baby, and Magic Woman. Young Ah is currently active in the music scene, performing and recording new music for her fans and audience. |

| Search | Add | 15 | Joachim Stiller | Joachim Stiller is one of many monikers used by visual artist and experimental musician [a=Mees Joachim] and is a character from a book by Hubert Lampo, namely ‘De komst van Joachim Stiller’, from which Mees’ middle name is derived. The artist has been using the Joachim Stiller moniker for many moons, though the name was only used for a series of performances, a documentary and DJ-sets prior to the release of [r=29239720] in late 2023, a project in collaboration with [a=Absolute Candor], which was their first outing of original music as Joachim Stiller. April 2024 saw the release of Joachim Stiller's debut album [r=30513193], which was released on and by the Bad Boy Jesus Tape Club ([l=BBJTC]). The album emerged from remnants of the soundtrack from a cancelled videogame and a shelved space-jazz album and were reformed as a 45 minute ambient-synth opera about 'the many states of water and what lays within'. The exhuberantly long track titles, though curtailed on streaming services, function as little vignettes to paint a scene around the audio. | |

| Search | Add | 15 | Johnny Mykoo | Johnny Mykoo (February 9, 1941 – December 16, 1990) was a pioneering Indo-Jamaican musician celebrated for sustaining and promoting Indian music in Jamaica and across the Caribbean. Born in Bacham Pen (Spanish Town Road), Kingston, Jamaica, into a devout Hindu family, he grew up immersed in religious rituals, nachaniya dancing, and cultural festivals like Hosay. As a young man, he learned barbering and moved to Leeds, UK, in the early 1960s, where he opened his first barbershop and record store. Inspired by a dream of a Sadhu (holy man), Mykoo returned to Jamaica in 1969 and founded the Raja Sarangie Group in 1974. Over his career, Mykoo recorded 52 tracks, releasing 19 singles and two LPs—Ham Jaane and Best of Johnny Mykoo—as well as contributing to the compilation Pleasure for the Soul. His music blended traditional Indian instruments and melodies with local Jamaican influences, resonating with audiences in the Caribbean, the United Kingdom, and beyond. Tragically, he passed away in a car accident on December 16, 1990, while returning from an Indian cultural function. Despite his untimely death, Johnny Mykoo’s legacy lives on through [a7112783]—now led by his children—and through the Indo-Jamaican community that continues to honor his vibrant contributions to Caribbean music and culture. | |
