Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | The Charles Brothers Trio | The Charles Brothers Trio (Ben, John and Fred Charles) recorded two albums on their own record label “Big Chief Records”, and were guest artists on the Brooks Oregon Family Camp recordings produced in 1960. The Charles Brothers Trio’s music ministry began in 1958, and has taken them on many amazing travels and experiences throughout the US, Canada, and briefly into Mexico. Brothers – John, Fred, and Ben Charles grew up in Klallam Tribal Villages along the Straight of Juan de Fuca in Washington State, USA where their dad worked in the timber industry. Early 1950’s, Pastor Bill Ulin taught the young brothers music basics and provided them guitars to help develop their talents. As young adults, their close vocal harmony and their dedication to God, made them favorites as Native Gospel singers and speakers throughout Washington State, Oregon, and B.C., Canada. In summer of 1964, a tragic logging accident cut short brother Fred’s life. He was 28 years old. He was survived by his wife and two small sons. John and Ben and their families remained in the Pacific Northwest most of the next 40 years. The two brothers sang together for church and community gatherings and events whenever they had opportunity. In 2007 John passed away from respiritory related illness he had suffered for many years, leaving Ben as the only remaining member of the Trio. | |

Re-formed after World War I as Skipton Prize Band, the band enjoyed much contest success at Crystal Palace in the 1920’s and 1930’s under the direction of its most famous conductor, Fred Metcalfe. After difficulties in intervening years, the band forged close links with local schools in the 1970’s, producing a vigorous and thriving Senior and Youth Band which laid the foundations for its rise from Fourth Section, to Champion Section status between 1977 and 1989. Along the way, the band has been privileged to contest at many National Finals in such places as the Royal Albert Hall, the Cardiff International Arena and the Birmingham Symphony Hall and has also undertaken numerous broadcasts on television and radio. The band remains amateur despite its considerable success. Playing members receive no remuneration. The band’s success has been due to the hard work and commitment of its players and supporters as well as the continuing support of Skiptonians and local businesses. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Limehouse Seven | The Limehouse Seven was founded in 1965 in Haarlem, a city in the western part of The Netherlands, not too far away from Amsterdam. They were a rising star in the traditional jazz scene in The Netherlands. The music they played differed from the regular dixieland jazz bands - they concentrated on the music as played by the black jazz bands during the 1920s, the music of legendary players like Joe King Oliver and Jelly Roll Morton, Clarence Williams and Fletcher Henderson. They started as an ordinary dixieland band, but changed their style due to new members like Jacques Van Ham, Remco van der Gugten and Fred Horn who brought a new spirit into the group that became popular through festivals, like the Loosdrecht Jazz Festival, a more modern jazz event, where they won a second price; the 1969 Hammerfeld Jazz Festival in Roermond and a first price at the Oude Stijl Jazz Festival in Breda in 1972. All those festivals are well known in The Netherlands. After summer of 1973, they changed their name to [a3001916]. Band members: [a=Jacques Van Ham], trombone. [a=Remco Van Der Gugten], alto and tenor sax, clarinet. [a=Fred Horn], cornet and washboard. [a=Ton Van Brussel], cornet. [a=Henk De Roos], banjo. [a=Peter Rijkhoff], piano. [a=Piet Peeperkorn], tuba. | |

In 1966 The In-Men Ltd. signed with Jokers Three Entertainment Agency, who set them up for frat parties and debutante balls. A reputation was quickly built. The band ended up supporting visiting national artists such as The O'Jays, Barbara Lewis, B.J. Thomas, various Motown acts and The Impressions. The band line-up varied throughout the sixties. On the Pyramid recordings members included Sonny Long (guitar), Freddy Owens and Tommy Burgess (saxophone), Tommy Rogers (drums), Garth Hutson (trumpet), Howard Eaton (trumpet) and Moose Smith (keyboard). | Search | Add | 2 | Sharp. | SHARP. | The Puerto Rican/Dominican beatsmith discovered Hip-Hop early on as the airwaves served as hubs for legends like DJ Red Alert, Chuck Chillout, Pete Rock and Marley Marl, and the late Mr. Magic. The avid baseball fan found that roaming Fordham Road gave him unlimited access to the music that informed his youth. The late 1980s opened new levels of participation in Hip-Hop for a young SHARP, first as a dancer and DJ for his fledgling Hip-Hop group. As the 1990s rolled in, SHARP opened the next chamber of his artistry by creating pause tapes for the group while learning the finer points of crate-digging, sampling, and music production. Under the tutelage of former MTV VJ K.K. Holiday in the mid-1990s, SHARP’s grassroots foundation was upgraded significantly, and a move to Atlanta proved fruitful as he worked within a production team that shaped the early sounds of Ludacris prior to his major label deal with Def Jam. After the turn of the century, SHARP continued to perfect his sound via the MPC3000 and later studying at Florida’s Full Sail University, earning a degree in music production. While in the Orlando area, SHARP crossed paths with one of the region’s sharpest lyricists in MidaZ the Beast, forming the “steel sharpens steel” partnership that exists today. SHARP’s debut instrumental album, THE THUMP COLLECTION, arrived in 2010 and the following year a DJ residency in Central Florida opened the pathway for the producer to dive into music full-time. In 2012, SHARP and MidaZ released the LOOPS album, an acclaimed collection of razor-sharp verses and well-honed production that garnered the attention of tastemakers and listeners, including The Alchemist. SHARP credits !llmind for expanding his technique beyond sampling, taking the celebrated producer’s suggestion to study music theory and work outside his traditional confines. Prior to this meeting, SHARP relied on samples to create his sound and the creative shift added layers to his formidable strengths. SHARP’s ever-curious approach to music and production inspired him to create original sounds and rely less on the dusty crates of his youth. This gave way to working with an agency that placed his productions across various networks such as Viceland, HBO, ESPN, and Nike. Even with his professional advancements, SHARP remained true to his core as a sound provider for artists that embodied the drive and hunger he too shared. Most notably in 2016, Long Island’s Hus Kingpin enlisted SHARP to remix a track from the Wave Lord’s HOKTRE project. In addition to MidaZ the Beast, several artists that have since commissioned dubplates. Queens veteran Tragedy Khadafi, Mount Vernon legend CL Smooth, Washington, D.C.’s yU, Michigan wordsmith Willie The Kid, prolific Atlanta bar warlord Tha God Fahim, and Hus Kingpin’s compatriots in Smoovth and ROZEWOOD are among a number of satisfied sonic partners. The sound of SHARP defies definition as the nuances present in his work are numerous. At times mood-shifting and melodic, SHARP isn’t simply a producer who shapes sounds. He is a prime example of how “the Bronx keeps creating it” at a high level. by D.L. Chandler |

| Search | Add | 2 | PEDRA CONTIDA | Given the nature of the location where the group was created (Aldeia da Cerdeira, Serra da Lousã), this quintet develops a musical work within the parameters of the definition or contradiction of silence versus sound, giving rise to the "abstract" definition of Pedra Contida (Contained Stone). A collective that is characterized by melodic restraint and pervasive silence. If some tradition comes from the new musical approaches of the twentieth century can be said then, that the addition of these five musicians did not happen by accident. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Peter M. F. Sichel | Peter Max F. Sichel | German American wine merchant and secret service operative born September 12, 1922 in Mainz, Germany, who founded the Blue Nun wine brand. Born into a wine producing family, H. Sichel Sohne, in the 1930s Sichel emigrated with his parents to the USA to escape Nazi persecution. He worked as a US Foreign Service Officer, running agents in Germany and was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal. He was promoted to head of the CIA in Berlin. He continued to work for the Central Intelligence Agency in Berlin, Washington and Hong Kong until 1960. He then took over the family wine export business and tapped into the growing popularity of wine as a drink in the US with his Blue Nun Liebfraumilch brand, which he marketed as a wine you can drink "right through the meal", using widespread advertising. At its peak in the 1980s, Blue Nun sold 1.25 million cases annually. Sichel produced and appeared on a promotional tie-in record around 1964 called On Wine: How To Select & Serve: Vol. One. This was sampled on Check Your Head by The Beastie Boys. His autobiography is subtitled "Vintner, Prisoner, Soldier, Spy?" He also authored several guides to wine. He is father to screenwriter sylvia Sichel and the late film director Alex Sichel, who together wrote and directed a 1997 film set in the Riot Grrrl scene. |
