Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

It has been far too long since the world has been graced with any one producer wielding ridiculous amounts of talent in literally any genre or sub-genre of electronic production that he decides to take his hand to without giving a monkey about whatever anyone else is doing. There’s nothing much else to write here, since we all know words hold no value without substance nor based upon deeds done. The Devil Is In The Details, if we but listen – February 2022.

Search | Add | 6 | DSTRQT | Wessel van Wijk | Contact: E: info@dstrqt.com Wessel van Wijk, better known as "DSTRQT" is a DJ and Producer from Holland. Born on 1 October 1997 and currently counts as an extraordinary up-and-coming producer at the industry. The sounds of DSTRQT would be described as clubby, futuristic and groovy. The brand DSTRQT came alive at the end of 2015, when he released his first unofficial remix of Infinity on the internet. The first big highlight came already one year later. Bojac and DSTRQT teamed up with their track "Formula", with a spot on Oliver Heldens’ imprint Heldeep Records. This track got many support from DJs like Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens, Sander Van Doorn and Tchami. Tchami played this song almost at every live set. In 2019, Jaytrics and DSTRQT created together an uplifting masterpiece ‘Carousel’. With their first premiere at Oliver Heldens’ Heldeep Radio. A few months later DSTRQT sent some music over-and over to Tiësto. One single song got his attention, with a final release on Tiësto’s Musical Freedom. |

Search | Add | 6 | Aldo Palazzeschi | Aldo Giurlani | Aldo Palazzeschi. 2 February 1885 – 17 August 1974) was the pen name of Aldo Giurlani, an Italian novelist, poet, journalist and essayist. He was born in Florence to a well-off, bourgeois family, and studied accounting and acting before he published his first book of poetry, I cavalli bianchi (in English, The White Horses) in 1905, using his maternal grandmother's surname, Palazzeschi, as a pseudonym. After meeting Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, he became a fervent Futurist. However, he was never entirely ideologically aligned with the movement and had a falling out with the group over Italy's involvement in World War I, which he opposed. His "futurist period" (roughly the 1910s) was a very fecund time in which he published a series of works that cemented his reputation. Most notable of these is his novel Il codice di Perelà (translated into English as Man of Smoke) published in 1911. During the interwar era, his productivity lessened, as he became involved in journalism and other pursuits. Also during this time, he was a notable anti-Fascist. He returned with a series of novels in the late sixties and early seventies that resecured his place in the new, post-war avant-garde. He died in 1974 in his apartment in Rome. Today he is often considered an important influence on later Italian writers, especially those of the neoavanguardia in both prose and verse. His work is well noted by its "grotesque and fantastic elements" |

In just a few years their sound has become a very familiar one throughout Michigan and elsewhere in the Mid-West. Many of their recordings can be heard at any time of the day or night on a variety of radio stations or on television. Their excellent results have been achieved only through long hours of practice and very hard work. The splendid blend of their voices in the singing of Gospel Hymns has added new dimensions and freshness to the beautiful thoughts found in the songs. They have a message to sing because each one of them has experienced the faithfulness of God in his own life; 'For His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me'. It is the hope and prayer of each quartet member that the message expressed through the songs on this, their latest recording, will inspire every listener to greater faith and devotion to the Christ they love and serve." - - Rev. Philip J. Koster (from "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" album liner notes)

Search | Add | 6 | Mason Android Park | Jason Smark | Jason Smark is a multi-instrumentalist and beat programmer from the Sunshine State. His large body of work supersedes his contemporaries exponentially in both quantity and quality as dozens of one-to-two hour long collections remain unpublished among his already vast expanse of releases. His electronic based sounds seem to organically transform and grow. Having been compared to peers as avant-garde as Matthewdavid, Venetian Snares and Satanicpornocultshop, it is no wonder his seemingly psychedelic-induced songs reflect better the complexities of a creature than a song itself. Smark may as well be a scientist mixing sounds in place of chemicals, constantly creating and reinventing new species of life. |

Search | Add | 6 | Fokkewolf | Garage/Punk rock band from England. Formed in 1996. Daz and Paul needed a guitar player after splitting another band going nowhere. Clarky, a sparring partner from the old hardcore days fitted the bill perfectly (they played briefly together in FORCEFED). After a few gigs they cut Bullet Festival EP in the same year but didn't release it. Played a rack of gigs in the UK. More recording followed. This resulted in the DEATHRAY EP. Some frenzied live activity accompanied the record. Then came the legendary KICK ARSE EP, inspired by the film 'Brain Dead'. A track from it was put on a Frank Records comp which spread the word about the band around Europe. The EP was played on the Peel show in the UK, and they were invited to do a session by the great man himself!! Then Barny from Incognito asked them for a record for his anniversary release series. This spawned the PORNO ROCKER anthem. The band then split for various personal reasons, and things lay fallow for a while. All seemed dead until founder member Smith reformed the band with new members and tied up some loose end songs written before the split. That's it!

Search | Add | 6 | Bill Retoff | The first serious musical venture came as a member of the Insomniacs (which eventually morphed into the ensemble Retoff, McKenzie, Butler & Pierce) in the early '90s. Retoff formed his own label, Maize Records, specifically for the band, and between 1992 and 1994, they released two acclaimed (in underground pop circles) full-length cassettes and numerous singles. The band gradually disintegrated due in large part to the miles of travel between them. At about the exact moment of disintegration, Retoff was struck down by spinal meningitis and diagnosed with intestinal cancer. It nearly ended his life, but he ultimately recovered from the ordeal and eventually settled back into recording as a solo artist. He released his debut solo album, Pop Jewelry, in 1996, along with a legion of 45s and made appearances on numerous compilations. He played with the band Eternal Groove, who released a single in 1997, and produced the sole effort by Billy Blastoff, the band that Dan McKenzie, Dave Butler, and Ed Pierce formed following Retoff, McKenzie, Butler & Pierce. Two of his songs were also covered by the semi-legendary '60s combo the E-Types on their 1998 reunion album Chase the Moon. Retoff's dedicated cult following continued to steadily grow, and a second solo album, Reanimation, appeared in 2000. That summer also saw him reconvene with McKenzie, Butler, and Pierce to begin recording all new material.

Search | Add | 6 | Kin Palo | Kin Palo is “Kin” as in “Family” and “Palo” as in “tree” or “branches.” Their music speaks to the ideas that we are all connected and have more similarities, than differences. We all have the same root desires, needs, and want for connection and are connected even in our differences. Kin Palo makes melodies that explore the waring dualities of human nature, both the dark and light side. Sonically they meddle in the darker side of melodies influenced by Explosions in the Sky, Nine Inch Nails, and Khalid to name a few. Amy Stroup is the lead singer & writer with collaborators from Canada, USA, & beyond. Following on the first album's success of being featured on dozens of television shows including Batwoman, Sense 8, Shannara Chronicles and more, Kin Palo is back with their sophomore work "Glory" featuring the single "Watch This" a collaboration with Night Panda (Dustin Atlas, Julietta) and Amy Stroup. Booming beats, fizzy bass, dark guitars color the albums as heard on "Invincible" and "For The Glory". "For the Glory" was penned by power the team Amy Stroup (Chaka Khan, Andrew Belle, Sugar & The Hi-Lows) and grammy nominated Rob Kleiner (SIA, Labrinth) and Mary Hooper in LA as a response to honoring the life of Kobe Bryant & his daughter. Look for “GLORY” the full length album 10/22/21. Singles “For the Glory” is out October 8th along with “Watch This” October 20th before the album drops October 22nd .

Originally known as Electric Dog Sex they gigged around Central and North London between 1987 and 1989 before changing their name to Delta Angel following much interest in their latest, more dance orientated demo. They signed to Profile following advice from One Little Indian that they were unable to sign them for six months or so due to their involvement with the Shamen - and that band's interest in Profile UK led them to believe that it would be a fruitful partnership. It wasn't. They recorded one album - Silhouette - which turned out to be a fair reflection of their live sound but were not given either the time or budget to really experiment in the studio. They didn't submit any further tracks to Profile. Vocals, Guitar, songwriting, programming and production: Dominic Peel Keyboards: Carol Hayward Bass: Mark Handley

Although kept technoid and minimal his sound has a gripping warmth.
