Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Jason Lee Ward | Jason Lee Ward is a London-based DJ/Producer, born in Islington, North London. Jason spent his childhood surrounded by 70s Jazz Funk, Soul and Disco Music. His interest in music led to Jason spending the 90s scanning through London’s legendary pirate radio stations and inevitably discovering and becoming captivated by classic house and US garage. Along with music, Jason had a promising early career in professional football and came inches away from a full-time career. In spite of that, his passion for music flourished and he decided to refocus his prospects into carving a career in music. From 2009, Jason became a regular DJ on the London underground house scene and successfully built a solid reputation with party-goers and fellow DJs alike. However, in 2013 Jason decided to take a step back from life as a DJ to develop his understanding and skills as a music producer. Jason achieved his first professional qualification in 2015 after graduating from Islington Music Workshop with a Higher National Diploma in Music Technology. To date, Jason has released music on labels such as, Madhouse Records, i! Records, Salted Music, Purple Music and Solid Ground Recordings.

Search | Add | 3 | Alex Schenk | Alexander Schenk | This producer has a long musical history. Since 1993 he has been on music and has many different styles of music through. Whether punk or rap, with his former colleagues M. Aurich and A. Lehmann produced, including drum and bass or Psytrance with Alex Sill under the pseudonym Psypunkz were no problem for him and only a logical development and discovery of music. These influences can be found at its current productions and guess deep down in the history of the producer. Since a few years, you can also listen live to the sound and enjoy the night. We look forward to welcome the interesting musician for Coexistence-Recordings. booking: booking@damm-records.com |

Search | Add | 3 | InChanto | The InChanto's musical experience is therefore inspired by the presence of a particular land; and if the Tuscan musicians propose this journey, they well know that going along these areas means discovering a part of the soul that men little by little have left to things. Once more, there is the attempt of recovering literary and musical traditions from different times and cultures, from the Latin and Mediterranean to the Celtic, that in Tuscany have met during centuries: the one of InChanto would like to be the model journey of people recognizing in his own land the land of everybody. InChanto was born in the summer of 1993 with the intention of proposing a fusion between ancient and electronic sounds and instruments. Afterwards, feeling the need to go back to acoustic and essential resonances, the group introduces historical instruments as the hurdy-gurdy, the baroque flute, the dulcimer and the bodhràn, that have reduced the importance of electronic. In this context, very important are the recent lyrics in fifth and sixth century Italian, in Latin and French.

At a very young age, he learned the basics of the guitar and began singing, first for his cousins and neighbors, then at small local private parties and weddings. Skillfully artist, he mixes all Moroccan styles and Algerians influences, whether modern or traditional, in order to create a unique genre that belongs only to him. Bakr also enjoys covering classic songs by artists, such as “Lala Maryama” by Cheb Douzi, “Al Horm ya rassoul lah” by Malhoune or even “Wedi Hay Wedi” by Cheb Khaled. Although today living in Belgium, Bakr nonetheless remains an important figure in Moroccan musical life, of which he is undoubtedly one of the best representatives. |

Search | Add | 3 | D.T. Boyz | D.T. Boyz | Formed in early 1989 by former members of Lazarus and Mad Hatter, D.T. Boyz was among the best known bands of the Boston club circuit in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. They projected an androgynous Glam Rock image (ala Poison, Pretty Boy Floyd, Hanoi Rocks, etc.) complete with makeup and jewelry, cheesy stage names, dramatic hair coloring, tattoos, peircings, and leather clothing making them more closely resemble an act from Los Angeles than the more conservative Boston, MA. Search | Add | 3 | Ex-Colorado | excolorado is the name under which the Argentinian musician and producer José María D'Agostino, better known as Peta, releases his first solo project after having been an important protagonist of the Argentine independent music of the last decades, either with his band Go-Neko! or through his studio Moloko. Go-Neko! was one of the pioneers of the national indie-Krautrock scene. The band released two albums with the local label Laptra: "Una Especie de Mutante" (2008) and "Los Malos de Verdad" (2010) and played in the most important Buenos Aires venues and also toured Spain, where they played at the Primavera Sound Festival in 2013. Under his production, some of the most important albums of the Argentine Indie genre were recorded at his studio Moloko, such as "Creo que te amo" by 107 Faunos and the debuts albums of Bestia Bebé and Las Ligas Menores. He worked with some of the emblematic figures such as El Mató a un Policía Motorizado and Rosario Bléfari. excolorado's debut was in 2017 with the album "Siete Mares", where Peta was in charge of recording and playing all the instruments. In it, he takes us on a journey building songs through repetitive sounds and layers of melodies going from the pulse of Krautrock to the most contemplative dream pop. In 2018, he released the single "La fiesta de los que alardean", where he consolidated his sound supported by new musicians. In 2019 he released a new single called "Dreamykraut". The title of the single is a term he coined as a denomination of his own musical ethos, reaffirming his love for vintage sounds and textures. In February 2022 his second album ¨Lo Bueno del Tiempo y las Decisiones¨ finally comes out, which is released in Argentina in Cassette format by Discos Laptra and Hallo Discos. As both educators and parents, each of the five group members believes that families deserve shared experiences to be enjoyed together. They call it “the mighty magic experience.” That’s what led to the creation—and debut—of a fresh musical ensemble that combines harmonies, poetry, humor, and optimism meant to entertain and delight families. [a=Mike Mennard (2)], an award-winning recording artist and veteran to the children's market, launched the group, drawing on his own experience. Search | Add | 3 | Tony Gil | The Washington Area Music Association gave out its annual Wammie Awards in 1997, honoring area musicians and other members of the local music scene. Jazz singer Tony Gil was the biggest winner, receiving the award for artist of the year, while his CD "Tenderly: A Tribute to Felix Grant" won as album of the year. Certainly one of Washington's most prolific musicians, Gil has released five CDs in the past 2 1/2 years. Gil, whose parents are Ecuadorean, was named best Latino vocalist, and his album "Yo Te Recuerdo" won for best Latino recording. And in the contemporary jazz category, Gil won the award for best male vocalist and his CD "Essentially Jobim" was voted best recording. That CD also won an award for best record design for Lawrence Marie. At the ceremonies in the Lisner Auditorium, Gil and Pam Bricker performed duets of "Just the Way You Look Tonight" and "One Note Samba," which helped explain Gil's many awards. WAMA has attempted to streamline the award presentations to make room for more live music. And while some might have second-guessed that decision after the maudlin performance by kiddie-folk act Bridges to Bliss, they were surely pleased about it when Ruth Brown came on. Brown, inducted this year into the WAMA Hall of Fame, received standing ovations for two rollicking numbers, including one from her Tony Award-winning role in the musical "Black & Blue." (Also inducted were jazz musicians Sonny Stitt and Donald Byrd.) The Latin jazz dance band Rumba Club started the evening off with some excellent salsa, and folk near-legend Tom Paxton performed a hilarious ode to the airline that broke his guitar. Heady, an MC with the hip-hop group 3LG, tried to get the hall going, waving his hands and shouting, "We're gonna make this a hip-hop party!" With the songs "La La (What Do You Expect?)" and "The Chain," the group nearly succeeded, despite the muddy audio mix. The Michael Sheppard Group and Ruthie & the Wranglers each poured their hearts into their two-song sets. A complete list of last night's Wammie winners will appear in the Nightwatch column in Friday's Weekend section. CAPTION: Tony Gil and Ruth Brown performing at last night's Wammies. Gil took home the award for artist of the year.
