Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Le Karcajou | Canadian (Quebec) vocal and instrumental band that interprets folklore but "wants to serve it in the modern style". Also recorded a 45-rpm. The idea of forming such a group first germinated in the brains of Richard Paquet and Michel Bessette, two long-time friends, who set out to find two other members. In December 1972, Carole Miville was introduced to them and "it clicked right away". A few days later, it is Richard Fortin who "embarks". After fierce rehearsals, they gave their first show in January 1973.

Search | Add | 3 | The Bag Of Joys | Icelandic band, formed in 1994, when a few friends who'd been making music together at home decided to start rehearsing properly and put together a live band. In 1995 they released a cassette called "Minnir óneitanlega á Grikkaland" (roughly translated as "Kinda reminds me of Greece"). It was limited to a total of 40 copies and managed to get bad reviews, which were then reprinted on the sleeve of their next release, the 7" single "Nú á ég vermand vini". This single was released in 250 copies later that same year. In 1997 the CD "Eins og ég var motta" ("Like I was a rug") was released, as a part of a Bad Taste Ltd series, a series of CDs that contained around 7 to 9 songs of a young underground band. For this record the band acquired a female vocalist, named Lena. They disbanded the same year.

Search | Add | 3 | חבורת ראש כרוב | "Rosh Kruv" is a popular Israeli television program for children that was broadcast on Channel One in 1975, and rebroadcasted during the 1980s. The program had different corners, including the quiz corner; In this corner, the moderators asked questions and two competing children in the studio answered them. Every wrong answer forced the respondent to hold his hands a cabbage; The loser was the one who drops the cabbage from his hands. The program's opening song was written by Thelma Eligon and composed by Kobi Oshrat. In 1975, a record was released on Hed Artzi with the songs of the program, including a Hebrew translation of "On the Roof of the World" by the Carpenters. Yael Bar Zohar re-performed the theme song of the series in the children's tape "Radio Gan" (1997).

Search | Add | 3 | Miðaldamenn | Miðaldamenn | Icelandic pop band from Siglufjörður. |

Search | Add | 3 | Росинка | Rosynka is a female vocal ensemble of Prykarpattia University. For the first time the student vocal ensemble "Rosynka" appeared on the big stage on March 7, 1967 under the direction of Khrystyna Mykhailyuk, then a first-year student of the Music and Pedagogical Faculty of Ivano-Frankivsk Pedagogical Institute (now Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian University). The composition of the ensemble often changed due to the short student age, but "Rosynka" has always been a kind of professional women's vocal school. Having already received national, then All-Union, recognition, in 1971 the girls were invited to take part in the musical TV movie "Red Route", which the studio "Ukrtelefilm" shot by Myroslav Skochilyas shot in Yaremche ("Rosynka" was almost the most famous of all team). The beauties from Prykarpattia added a special charm with their presence and vocal style along with the same young singers and composers as they were then: amateur Levko Dutkovsky, Volodymyr Ivasyuk, Valery Gromtsev, Vasyl Zinkevich, Nazariy Yaremchuk, Sofia 15 three were sung brilliantly, three brilliantly sang "Rosynka" - "Flow" by Ruslan Ishchuk to a poem by Stepan Pushyk, "Cranes fly away" by Alexander Bilash to the words of Valery Guzhva, "Where the mountains and forests" by Valery Gromtsev to the text by Nikolai Buchko. Thousands of concerts, thousands of fans, thousands of autographs, hundreds of works… In the golden fund of "Rosynka" Ukrainian folk songs, love songs, romances, works of world and modern classics.

Search | Add | 3 | Ernie Goodson | Ernie Goodson (1910-1995) was a highly regarded jazz clarinetist and saxophonist known for his exceptional talent and contributions to the world of Dixieland jazz. Born in 1910, he began his musical journey as a self-taught musician, with his first performance in the Pit Orchestra of the Tampa Theatre at the age of 17. In 1930, he moved to Miami, where he became an integral part of the local music scene. Over the years, he played at various iconic venues, including the Olympia Theatre (now the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts), Flagler Gardens, Biscayne Dog Track, and numerous Miami Beach hotels. Ernie Goodson's career took a significant turn in the late 1940s when he joined the Preacher Rollo Dixieland Band, a band that gained recognition in the music industry. After the band's breakup in 1960, he continued to perform, collaborating with prominent bandleaders like Ted Lewis, Dick Stabile (for the Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis Television Show), and Skitch Henderson (on Steve Allen's Tonight Show). In 1968, Goodson embarked on a fruitful musical partnership with trumpeter Don Goldie. They played together at jazz festivals across the country, recorded eight albums, and their collaboration lasted until 1992. Ernie Goodson's music was not just about skill; he had a unique way of connecting with people. Described as "witty and charming" by his daughter Teresa Matthews, his warm and engaging personality left a lasting impression on those who had the pleasure of meeting him. Beyond his musical prowess, Goodson had a way of making people feel good and radiated positivity. Throughout his life, Ernie Goodson left an indelible mark on the world of Dixieland jazz, enriching the genre with his talent, versatility, and a knack for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere through his music and personality.
