Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 10 | Колесо Дхармы | Dharma Wheel is one of the first straight edge hardcore bands in Russia. The leader and vocalist of the band for many years is Punch, who rallied the punk community of Volzhsky in the mid-90s. Since the 2000s the band has been based in Finland and performs under the name Wheel of Dharma. The legacy of the band, whose performances and first recordings date back to the early 90s, is hard to overestimate, it became a cornerstone of the DIY scene formation in Russia. The band has always taken a clear anti-fascist stance, never separating politics from music, and music from action. The band's performance at the Yebi Systema Fest, announced in 2013, did not take place. The band hasn't performed in Russia for quite a long time. | Search | Add | 10 | Tragic Romance | Formed in late 1987 in Los Angeles, CA., Tragic Romance was a bruising yet soaring powerhouse that rocked both the Sunset Strip and the coolest and darkest underground clubs L.A. had to offer. They were definitely part of the "big-hair"-"sleaze rock"- "Hollywood glam" scene, but it wouldn't always remain that way. Eventually they would take a walk on the darker side of the street and be fully accepted in that realm as well. In the early days of Tragic Romance, you could find the band decked out in leather pants, eye-liner, and big hair.BThey tore up the stages of just about every large and small venue in the Hollywood and L.A. Valley clubs. They would share the stage with the likes of Warrant, Junkyard, Bang Tango, Love/Hate, Vain, Jetboy, L.A. Guns and many others of that ilk. They were fully accepted into the hairband world. However, in the fall of 1989, they meandered over to the darker side of hard rock music and soon won the respect of the underground scene that featured such wicked, wild, and wonderful luminaries like Jane's Addiction, Lions and Ghosts, Human Drama, Motorcycle Boy, The Nymphs, and many more. They felt more at home in this scene where dark sounds and real poetry for lyrics were the norm, instead of the overdone, overblown, anything for a good time theme that was smothering the Strip. By mid 1990, they had become critical favorites and a rare crossover of both the Strip and the Underground. They were getting the well-deserved respect that comes to a band so serious about their craft. On any given night you might find standing amongst their regular throng of fans - some of Hollywood's A-listers such as Dave Navarro, James Hetfield, and Lenny Kravitz. In mid '93 they signed with the metal label Century Media who released the intense and soaring live CD entitled "Cancel the Future" which garnered great critical praise, and some college airplay. In the music business, its easy come and easy go, and as has happened to many-a-other band, TR was left to wither due to lack of record company support. It turned out the band wasn't heavy enough for their hardcore fan-base and they shelved the project altogether. Members: Billy Brooke - Lead Vocals Britt Wilson - Lead Guitar Phil Gibson - Bass Steph Takos - Drums Mark Vernon - Drums | |

Barbara was still in high school when [a=Paul Nemlin] offered to make an album with him. In the years that followed, Barbara continued to perfect her singing skills in Abidjan and began to sing locally in bars and cabarets. Towards the end of the 90s, she moved to Paris where she continued to sing in bars. Apart from that, she appeared in the first part at the Zénith with [a=Papa Wemba] and with [a=Koffi Olomide] in 1999. She recorded her second album "Tu think que ça", released in 1999. The album was well received by the artists. music lovers but commercial success was penalized by a lack of promotion. In 2006, Barbara Akabla made her comeback in stores with an album which bears the funny title "Boom Boom Bam". The album was produced by Frenchman François Cousin. The style displayed in this album is called Afro World, which is actually a mix of RnB and zouk with local Ivoirian rhythms.

| Search | Add | 10 | Litia~Loe | Litia~Loe: Life In The Insane Asylum = Life On Earth LITIA=LOE (Life In The Insane Asylum = Life On Earth) formed in Chicago amidst the burgeoning house movement of the 80’s. Leon Williams, Daryl Wilson, and brothers Grant and Simeon Rogers would meet up every weekend to soak up the sounds at local clubs like Music Box, Medusa, The PowerPlant, The Warehouse, and Frankie Knuckles’ Dance Palace, where DJs would mix everything from disco to new wave, industrial to house music. After the clubs closed, they would retreat to Leon’s basement to experiment with synths, inspired by what they had just witnessed at the clubs. Wired with excitement, they would stay up all-night, jamming and sequencing beats together late into the next afternoon. Simeon was the technician of the group, programming drums, layering sounds, and finding the right synth textures. Leon was the creative wild card, coming up with conscious lyrics and vocal melodies and tweaking the sounds to be more expansive. Grant kept things anchored in song, composing and coming up with structures. Daryl helped compose a lot of the unreleased songs and was a great arranger and bass player, but decided to leave the band for personal reasons. With a Tascam 8-track Portastudio, the group would cut rough tape mixes of their tunes to share with friends who would DJ the demos around town. Influenced by groups like Nitzer Ebb, Bauhaus and Chris & Cosey, they came up with a track heavy with distortion and feedback. A tape of that track started circulating around the clubs, and legend has it that Lil Louis liked it so much he claimed it as his own. Realizing that competition was fierce in the DJ world, they decided to cut a record next time so they could lay claim to their work. This led to the release of Each Dawn Every Dawn, released on their own Facade label in 1989. The group distributed the record themselves, handing them out at clubs, and dropping them off at local shops and record pools. At the time, the record barely made it out of Chicago, but the group did have a few chances at notoriety. Once with Rocky Jones of D.J. International Records who offered a “Blood contract” for joining the label. The group declined. In the mid 90’s they had an opportunity to open three nights with Living Colour, but the night before, one of the keyboardists got stage fright and they had to bail on the gigs.

Sourced from http://www.moltenmusicalpress.com/ : “ The Common Ulterior are an anonymous Progressive-Pop band from Lancashire, England. The band first formed in August of 2023 and began work on their first studio mini-album in September of the same year. Recorded at Sergeant Sagacious' home studio, the sessions involved other members: Dominic Feathley, Maxwell Hammers & Christopher Elephantine. On 10th November 2023, the band released a 3-track single in the format of an "A-side sandwhich" (a term coined by Sagacious, meaning a single that has 2 A-sides, and a B-side inbetween the two.) Sagacious is the main singer on all tracks, with Hammers contributing synths, piano & keyboards, Feathley contributing Pads and MIDI programming, and Elephantine adding drums. The band released their Mini-Album 'Abstract Ideas' a month later on 10th December, 2023, with the members contributing the same roles as the single. The Double-EP contains 7 tracks, before being reissued on 11th May 2024 with 5 bonus tracks. Currently, the band is hard at work writing and recording new demos, with an exciting new lineup; Zack Stargaze & Todd Evans are a duo that are guaranteed to create some musical magic together.”
