Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 10 | Out of the Void | Out of the Void | A Canadian heavy metal band formed in Chatham, Ontario, March 2017 by guitar players Gord Dillon and Joe Babcock. The band’s sound has been described as a combination of some of the early metal genres (i.e. NWOBHM, Doom Metal, Thrash Metal) combined with an early 90's flavour (i.e. Epic Metal, Power Metal). Out of the Void (OOTV) are heavily influenced by the late 70’s and early 80’s metal scenes with a tinge of early to mid 80’s thrash thrown in for good measure. The concept for OOTV has existed for close to 30 years in one form or another. Early on names for the band morphed from “Titan” to “Even Flow” to “Tip of the Spear” until “Out of the Void” seemed to take hold. Screaming Earth Studios is the private recording studio for the band, located in Chatham Ontario, and was used exclusively to record the songs for all the band’s release. The Earth Screams was release in April 2018 and consists of eight songs themed around Good vs. Evil, Politics, History, World War, Depression, Horror and Fantasy. The band was excited to have “The Earth Screams” professionally mastered at Metal Works Studio in Toronto in early January of 2018. OOTV quickly followed up with their 2nd release "Evil Unleashed" one year later in May 2019. Evil Unleashed is another eight song release that touches on the themes of Good Vs. Evil, Gun Violence, Addiction, World War and Cultish Leaders. As Covid-19 descended upon us it slowed the release of "Sad Shadows In Flames", the bands 3rd studio album. The album barely made it as a 2020 release squeaking out on the last day of the year after 8 months of delays. Sad Shadows In Flames consists of 9 songs focussed mainly on Beating the odds, Fiction, Good vs. Evil, Self Reflection and Vampirism. The band's discography currently consists of three studio albums. Many of the songs have been written over the past 30 years by main song writer Gord Dillon. Gord took on lead vocals for the band which was not the original plan but these two guitarists lacked someone to put a voice to the music. Joe Babcock convinced Gord to just give it a try and see what happens and the rest is history. Gord would describe his vocal style as simply “…just getting it done”. Joe perfects and mixes all of the music you hear which is a combination of him noodling or Gord conveying a hook or riff that goes with the lyrics. Both musicians have their main parts in the band and collaborate extremely well to challenge each other both lyrically and musically to refine each song. Also, showing up from the Void, every once in a while, are two mysterious characters, D.E. Athearly (Drums) and Blitz Krieg (Bass). It is said they are from the ether but D.E. seems to have some type of control over Blitz. When you see one the other is not far behind. Both character fill in on bass and drums through a series of talented friends of the band. Joe assumed lead/rhythm guitars, bass and drums on both releases. Gord took on vocals and plays rhythm guitars. Also credited on the first release is Bobby Pilutti, a friend of the band who consulted on the drum parts to help anchor the rhythm section. D.E and Blitz keep their distance until they hear the call and spring into live action. They seem to shy away from the studio and are drawn to larger crowds of people. Currently, Out of the Void is working in studio on their 4th release, set for December 2022. |

Bauler began treating these tapes with magnets, solvents and modified recording equipment, adding homemade signal-damaging circuits and empty synth drones to create a string of albums on the vanity label Midwest Death Cult, most of which were then given away to strangers or left in public places. Search | Add | 10 | Rye Town's Creatures | Rye Town's Creatures (sometimes referred to as Rye Town Coven and abbreviated to RTC) are a gothic rap, rap metal and horrorcore group originally from UK, England and consisted primarily of Memorex and Wes Cooper (though usually under their alter-ego's Ajax and Wayne InSane), but has since changed line-up several times, and is no longer a strictly an English only group. The band was formed on the 06/06/06 and that fact was often used in their albums marketing. They released several EP's and a few LP's in their time being active, and went through many changes when one of their later band members who joined in 2008, SirT, died from suicide in 2010. They released their final album in 2012, "Return To Rye", which was like a six year anniversary album and featured re-imaginings of their most classic tracks. It was around this time that Taurean J joined the group but no recording was ever completed. Since then, the RTC have been on and off active up until 2016 when they tried to reform with a new lineup of Memorex, HatchetHead, Taurean J and Juztin Sane, but it fell through. In late 2022, they reformed. Currently consisting of Memorex and Taurean J they released the first new RTC single in 10 years on the 17th October 2022 "Water Tower High" and will be releasing a new album "Banquet Of Witches" (TBC).

Search | Add | 10 | Tim Brickley | Tim Brickley is an Indianapolis, IN singer/songwriter/multi- instrumentalist/bandleader and producer who the Indianapolis Star has described as a musical "local legend" and Nuvo Magazine calls a “pillar of the Indiana music scene.” He writes with longtime collaborator (and former Rolling Stone/Spin magazine staffer) David Rheins, performs rock (with band The Bleeding Hearts), and jazz (with his Quintet and Big Band.) Tim is a recording engineer and producer, whose studio, Hit City Recording, is one of the longest continually-operating recording studios in the United States. He composes and produces music for film, broadcast and theatre and received an Emmy Award in 1998 for his score to ESPN-aired documentary, "Hoosier Hoops: The Golden Era." His song "Tangled and Tempted" was featured in the motion picture "Going All The Way" starring Ben Affleck and Rachel Weisz. He composed and produced the longtime theme for the Emmy Award-winning weekly WFYI-20 series "Across Indiana". Tim received a 2011-2012 Creative Renewal Fellowship from the Arts Council of Indianapolis. He also is an occasional guest vocalist for the nationally-syndicated The Bob and Tom Show – but in the interest of propriety, we will not divulge the name of any of those selections here ;-) There have been two albums of Brickley/Rheins material released so far: "Be apart." (1995) and "Everything that ever was." (2005). Indianapolis Star music critic Dave Lindquist called "Everything" “...some of the best grown-up rock and roll of any era.", and says the opening track, "Reckless With Love", “...explodes as a modern descendant of Bruce Springsteen’s 'Rosalita' and Tom Petty’s 'American Girl'.” Mark Emge in Evansville, IN weekly "News 4 You" says, "Brickley and Rheins' songs, chronicling loss (as in love, identity, love, home and love) are perfectly complimented by Brickley's painstakingly-crafted soundtracks, all the more impressive as they reference - but don't rip off – masters like Lennon/McCartney, Bob Dylan and Paul Westerberg. " Through the years, Tim has shared bills with artists as diverse as The Beach Boys, Squeeze, Culture Club, Warren Zevon, Aimee Mann, Delbert McClinton and Medeski, Martin and Wood. Tim’s has been a long-time collaborator with noted Indianapolis theatrical producer/director Bryan Fonseca - from 1986-2018 at Fonseca’s Phoenix Theatre, and now at Fonseca’s new Fonseca Theatre Company. As composer, music director-producer, sound designer and/or performer, Tim has participated in over 100 productions with Fonseca, including groundbreaking regional debuts of Broadway musicals "Spring Awakening", "Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson" and "American Idiot". In 2009, he co-wrote musical "The Zippers Of Zoomerville" with Jack O'Hara. In 2010, he performed in and served as musical director for the Fonseca original production "Pure Prine: The Music Of John Prine". The Chicago Sun-Times called the 2011 Chicago production of "Prine" “...a "winning formula". In 2018, they successfully revived the long-dormant 1979 musical adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's" God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater" and January 2019, saw the debut of new musical "The Ballad Of Klook and Vinette." Called “one of the crown jewels of the Indianapolis jazz” and "hip jazz vocal stylist" by Nuvo, he has performed jazz regularly with his Tim Brickley Quintet since 1990, singing standards, original material, and rearrangements of current pop. In 2001, he formed his 16-piece jazz Big Band, which has appeared at the nationally-recognized Indy Jazz Fest, where the band was praised by jazz critic Jay Harvey of the Star for ".....spirited and quirky resuscitation's of classic Nelson Riddle arrangements." The Quintet has regularly played Indianapolis jazz nightclub Valhalla The Chatterbox Tavern since 1988.
