Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 10 | Medroxy Progesterone Acetate | Darren Bauler | Medroxy Progesterone Acetate began in 1999 after the official termination of tape-junk combo BFP. Wandering around Iowa (with occasional sabbaticals in Texas and Minnesota) collecting field recordings of storm drains, rural graveyards and abandoned barns, primary MPA member D. Bauler began treating these tapes with magnets, solvents and modified recording equipment, adding homemade signal-damaging circuits and empty synth drones to create a string of albums on the vanity label Midwest Death Cult, most of which were then given away to strangers or left in public places. Occasional live performances took place in an empty machine shed called the Hudson Machinery Network (now dismantled) and endless anonymous basements. Collaborated with Chicago hoodlums Number None for the Damp and Damned cassette on Sloow Tapes in 2005. Thank you and good night. |

| Search | Add | 10 | Kamuflars | Kamuflars is a beatmaker and producer from Bergen, Norway - and a resident artist for the club nights and music label 'Jungelen'. He enjoys experimenting with electronic sounds, moving towards uptempo tracks made for the dancefloor, combining genres like House and Broken Beat. Even though, one should not categorize his music, being that it’s more about exposing an unpolished and raw vibe! Making the bridge between samples and self produced loops and soundscapes, 'the Kamu' has quite fast come up with his own distinct and playful sound. As he likes to call it: "Nordnes Funk". Together with long-time partner in crime, Jungelen-boss Simon Alejandro, they’ve released several projects on their label during the last seven years – both digitally and on limited runs of vinyl. Presenting to you Kamuflars! | |

Per Yngve "Pelle" Ohlin, aka Dead (his stage name with Mayhem). He founded Morbid in 1986, but moved to Norway in 1988 to join Mayhem. Ohlin can be considered as one of the most important characters in the black metal scene as his persona, self-destructive behaviour and underground attitude strongly shaped the way black metal was perceived and together with Øystein Aarseth (aka Euronymous) they very much set the standards for others to follow. Life in Norway with Mayhem became very difficult however and it is rumored that he didn't enjoy this world and Euronymous put a lot of pressure on him, or even bullied him, and he most likely suffered from depression. Ohlin died by suicide on April 8th, 1991 and left a note with the lyrics for "Life Eternal", which were later used on Mayhem's "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" album. |

The leader and vocalist of the band for many years is Punch, who rallied the punk community of Volzhsky in the mid-90s. Since the 2000s the band has been based in Finland and performs under the name Wheel of Dharma. The legacy of the band, whose performances and first recordings date back to the early 90s, is hard to overestimate, it became a cornerstone of the DIY scene formation in Russia. The band has always taken a clear anti-fascist stance, never separating politics from music, and music from action. The band's performance at the Yebi Systema Fest, announced in 2013, did not take place. The band hasn't performed in Russia for quite a long time. | Search | Add | 10 | Neanox | The project called "Neanox", was another creation of Anton Komanov, guitarist and founder of the band "Skolopendrra". Idea to record atmospheric and with beautiful music came from Anton in summer 2012. From June to October of this year have been recorded four tracks for the debut demo, called "Vacuum". Party of all instruments to him were recorded on "N.E.A studio". In the recording a demo and participated bandmate Denis Trubin after working on drums and participated in the writing of one of tracks. Music of the project is atmospheric and melancholic post-rock with elements of ambient and post-metal. Worth noting and the fact that "Neanox" may be perceived as a soundtrack to any film ever. Acoustic fingering roulades, filled with sadness, some keyboards and atmospheric, drawn-party solo guitar - music, forcing to close eyes and carry away the consciousness away... Neanox: Anton Komanov (guitar, bass, composer) Denis Trubin (drums) Date of formation: June 2012 | |

| Search | Add | 10 | Niccolò B | Niccolò Bonini | Born in 1991, Niccolo’s relationship with electronic music started as a teenager when he began to frequent nightclubs as an escape from ordinary life in his adopted hometown, Bergamo (Italy). The nightlife scene excited him, particurarly the feeling of connection on the dance floor and the power of music to create strong emotions in a crowd. Music always had a significant meaning in his life, symbolising freedom and becoming ultimately a bold statement for his identity. Around the year 2014 he felt an inner force telling him to leave everything behind and take his relationship with music further, inspired by the sound of many artists from different musical styles. This process of musical discovery and curiosity still permeates up to this day. In 2016 Niccolo released his first track “Out In Space (Original Mix)” under Aeriform Records, before going on releasing other tracks for digital record labels such as Suffused Music, Inmost Records and Mystic Carousel Records. 2017 was marked by more releases on Mystic Carosuel Records, for which he produced a series of remixes and original tracks which owed him some reactions and support from the community. His self-taught skills and style are in a state of constant evolution, both on the side of producing music as well as performing it. Taking influences from older records, his sound can always be recognised by its keen sense of melody, as well as a penetrating and vibrating rhythm. Those are the ingredients for the uplifting musical experience he wants to convey. The year 2018 brings him new and exciting challenges: Niccolo moves to Berlin, (Germany), the global capital of electronic music, where he soon has the chance to perform a live set at Kaffee Burger, in the very city center. This experience gives him the opportunity to give an even more precise direction to his musical journey, focusing on a very specific sound which melts together traits of Techno, Trance and Dance music. In 2019, Niccolo starts working on his very own project: record label, podcast series and nightclub in Berlin, under the name of “FUCKED UP!”. Find more info at: www.fuckedupberlin.de. | Search | Add | 10 | Haris Čizmić | Dorian Grey | Haris Cizmic formed his first band in 1995 but he hit the music industry in a big way in 2009 when he won the title of Hard Rock's Ambassador of Rock for the year, got signed and released his third and most progressive album by date. That was a good year for Haris in many ways: he released his “Ingray” project, performed with national and international acts and shot several music videos. However, this wasn’t the culmination of his career, in fact that was just the beginning. It was during this time that Haris started exploring other music styles and genres. He started using his own name, as opposed to his previous projects Ingray, Axa, and Therion. Not that these bands weren’t successful, quite the opposite; each groups boasts their own international awards and recognitions. Most importantly, at that time, Haris began a new career and found himself writing and producing for other musicians, as well as recording and performing as a solo artist. Of course he’s had the support of great musicians, like Dave Dupuie, Rocquell Wallace, and others, who appear alongside him in his new work and at live shows. And so, after years of eclectic Euro/American metal mixed with blues, pop, rock, electronic and ethnic music, Haris is officially in new territory as he explores neo-industrial grounds, acoustic rock, electronic goa and film music scores. In 2011 Haris was asked to arrange and perform the soundtrack for "One Last Call", an independent short film that won numerous festival awards. In addition to his work on the soundtrack for the film, Haris also assisted with script writing, video editing, special effects and postproduction in his Detroit-based studio. His work on “One Last Call” wasn’t Haris’ first time working in the film industry; his first movie score was almost ten years earlier, in 2002, for "Escaping Otis" which premiered at the Sundance Festival that year. Haris owes much of his success to other artists who have inspired him, like Tom Waits and Danzig. These artists have helped Haris realize that the production is also part of the song and it's feeling. He doesn’t force everything to sound big and clean, but rather he uses the way it sounds as a part of the song, for a more authentic and organic sound. Haris is also an awarded creative designer and artist. Catch Haris Cizmic’s music videos and songs on television and radio both in the US and Europe. Among his latest releases are "the Worst of - first 20 years" (2015), and a single "Breathe in Water" (2016) |
