Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | The Mahlors | There are many bands that fuse the sounds of Reggae and Rock. There are few bands who can pull it off and make it their own. The Mahlors are not just your ordinary band. The Mahlors were conceived by lead guitarist/vocalist Justin Jones and lead vocalist/guitarist Kevin Gresh in 2008. Pretty soon, Jones was writing song after song with Gresh, and the two knew they were on to something. Drawing from a wide range of musical influences that ranged from Bob Marley to Minor Threat, The Police to N.W.A., to the jazz greats of Coltrane and Miles, they were creating a unique take on the genre of Reggae. Jones and Gresh were determined to start a band. The beginning of the band started with Jones, Gresh, and their long-time friend and drummer, TJ Haslett. They went through a line-up of bass players until they came across Anthony Villar. The four instantly clicked. The vibes were on point and the band set off to turn some heads. And turn heads they did. By 2009, the band was playing non-stop all around the state of PA. They quickly became a local favorite amongst all different age groups, all the while nobody in the band was even over the age of 18. After gigging, the band finally stepped in the recording studio to cut their first album. By the end of the summer, they already sold over 100 self - made CD's. The Mahlors weren't done yet. That same year in between shows, the boys went back into the studio to produce their second album entitled Give In. It had become even popular than their first. They continued to perform and were racking up gigs almost every week. By 2010, the band had already opened up for national acts such as The Supervillains, The Movement, Ballyhoo, The Green, Bad Manners, The B Foundation, Iration, Echo Movement, and many more. They were gathering up a loyal following all along the East Coast. Kevin Gresh quit the group in late 2011 for personal reasons. Although this set the group back, it did not stop them. Justin moved on to lead vocal duties and guitar, and they added longtime friend of the band Ryan DeHaven to play guitar and sing backing vocals. This lineup change gave the band new legs, and they started to grind harder than ever before. In 2012 they played over 160 shows and closed out the year with a month long tour up and down the entire east coast. 2013 brought some challenges; when bassist Anthony Villar parted ways from the band, at first they didn't really know what to do, but then they were saved by Jeff MacCain. A guitarist by nature and a longtime friend of the band, Jeff has filled Anthony's shoes on bass better than expected, and continues to rock shows with the band. Aside from that The Mahlors still managed to go on a few tours in 2013, ending the year with a long one that consisted of an east coast run as well as a leg out to Chicago and back. Now it is 2014, and The Mahlors continue to broaden their horizons. After playing over 300 shows in the last two years, and touring up and down the east coast many times, their relentless gigging and dedication has served to establish themselves as an incredible and unmissable live act. Their fan base is growing faster than ever and people are swarming to see and hear the unique blend of reggae and punk than The Mahlors produce!! Genre: If Reggae had sex with Punk, Ska, Dub, Rocksteady, Hiphop, and Jazz. Band Members: Justin Jones: Guitar/Vocals Ryan DeHaven: Guitar/Vocals Jeff MacCain: Bass TJ Haslett: Drums | |

| Search | Add | 5 | C.N.T. De España En El Exilio | The Confederación Nacional del Trabajo (English: National Confederation of Labour; CNT) is a Spanish confederation of anarcho-syndicalist labour unions, which was long affiliated with the International Workers' Association (AIT). When working with the latter group it was also known as CNT-AIT. Historically, the CNT has also been affiliated with the Federación Anarquista Ibérica (English: Iberian Anarchist Federation); thus, it has also been referred to as the CNT-FAI. Throughout its history, it has played a major role in the Spanish labor movement. Founded in 1910 in Barcelona from groups brought together by the trade union Solidaridad Obrera, it significantly expanded the role of anarchism in Spain, which can be traced to the creation of the Federación de Trabajadores de la Región Española, the successor organization to the Spanish chapter of the IWA. Despite several decades when the organization was illegal in Spain, today the CNT continues to participate in the Spanish worker's movement, focusing its efforts on the principles of workers' self-management, federalism, and mutual aid. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | T. Naija | Naija Tinoula | Born in Brooklyn, New York, USA and raised in Nigeria, Naija Tinoula is a model, R&B singer, and songwriter. Her early success is attributed to her modeling career, perseverance, and a loyal Nigerian fan base in the USA. A graduate of New York University in marketing and finance, Naija is also a partner at Nok Records. Her debut album, "Rhythm of Love", debuted at #72 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, with 4.000 copies sold in the USA. The album's lead single, "My Man", is receiving limited airplay on such stations as Top 40 WJYY of Concord, New Hampshire. Described as a cross between [a=Sade] and [a=Grace Jones], Naija wrote most of the songs on the album, collaborating with producer Scotty Beats to integrate soul, funk, pop, and dance. After the release, Naija stepped away from the music scene, and is most likely still a partner of Nok Records. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Matt LeGroulx | Multi-instrumentalist Matt LeGroulx has been releasing his home-recorded music since the late 90s, first with Fecund Farrago (anthologies of which have since been released on his label Phonautograph Records) then in the early 2000s under his known name and as Tiny Iota, who's music has never been released. In 2010 he began releasing music as Expwy which gained some notoriety in his home of Montreal and the rest of Canada with 2012's Bag Of Waters thanks to Weird Canada, Exclaim! and local Montreal-based publications. In 2014 he disbanded Expwy though continued to play with much the same people. Although his albums have been mostly done on his own, playing all of the instruments some participants include long-time collaborator Dan Nyborg, Galaxius Mons partner Ian Jarvis, drummer/guitarist/songwriter/producer Daniel Gelinas and bassist and songwriter Elliot Kerr. In 2015 he founded Phonautograph Records and began releasing music as High Five. As of January, 2024 there have been over 20 High Five releases, some under modified names such as High Five Early Music Ensemble, High Five Flute Ensemble and High Five Chamber Music Ensemble. Though these names denote changes in instrumentation or repertoire they are invariably created mainly by LeGroulx with his menagerie of instruments. High Five albums may include tenor saxophone, flute, recorder, clarinet, violin, piano, pandeiro and synthesizer in addition to the standard rock band instrumentation of guitar, bass and drums giving these homemade High Five albums an array of textures usually only possible by collaboration. In 2021 the album Bad Trouble by Body Breaks was released on vinyl by We Are Time, a microtonal collaboration between LeGroulx and vocalist/composer Julie Reich of Toronto's Bile Sister. Founded by No Wave legend Chandra Oppenheim and writer and musician Jesse Locke, We Are Time inaugurated it's existence by releasing Bad Trouble on vinyl marking the only time LeGroulx's music has appeared on that medium. All songs are sung by Reich save for the final one which is sung by LeGroulx. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Uncle Julius | Ross Gordon / Emil Gorski | “Uncle Julius” was an over-the-air character created by Madison, WI, radio announcer “Ross Gordon,” which in turn was the professional name of one Emil Gorski. While spinning “Old Time” records on radio WKOW, Ross began speaking in German dialect as “Uncle Julius,” ultimately leading to the creation of a band led by the fictitious character. Emil (Ross’s birth name) was the youngest of over half a dozen children born to Antonia Kolakowski and her husband Joseph W. Gorski in the northern Wisconsin town of Three Rivers. Emil spent World War II as an instructor at Camp Hood (now Fort Cavazos), TX, which opened in 1942 as a new “Tank Destroyer Tactical and Firing Center.” After the war, Emil got into radio announcing, working at WSPA, Spartanburg, SC; WWL, New Orleans, LA; and WTAD, Quincy, IL. Over the air he was Ross Gordon, a professional name he ultimately adopted legally. The Uncle Julius Band was actively performing by the fall of 1950, with regular engagements during 1951, and recordings for Capitol Records and Milwaukee’s Tell Records. He became a real estate agent, all the while maintaining his radio show, and using the Uncle Julius picture in his realty ads. He opened his own real estate office, and in 1961 ran unsuccessfully for mayor of Madison. Uncle Julius/Ross/Emil is not noted to have played an instrument, but did provide spoken introductions to recordings, and “directed” the Uncle Julius band at its live performances. Emil Gorski/Ross Gordon passed away unexpectedly on May 16, 1977, at the age of 58. |

It is known that Hipple moved to Florida and released a solo record. Hipple tragically died of brain cancer a few years later. Where Stansfield went is still a mystery. At one stage he was runoured to be a truck driver living somewhere in Indiana. | |

Started to fall in love with hiphop at 8 years old after listening to Back For the First time by Ludacris. Adopted the moniker "Jody Lo" at just 13 years old (influenced by the late Atlanta MC Shawty Lo) after Jody gained a signifigant amount of influence from the era of 2004-2009 with the outbreak of seemingly DIY trap music from artists like Shawty Lo, Gucci Mane, Yo Gotti, Lil Boosie, Zed Zilla and Starlito. At the same time still a child of the "Lil Wayne era" which is evident through the admirable lyrical effort put forth by Jody Lo on each track. After practicing writing and reciting for more than 10 years, Jody Lo hit the studio for the first time at 21 years old when he recorded the hustle & flow mixtape, Substance, substance 1.5 & Sack Religion. Also appeared on Dj Smallz Eyes in a 27 minute interview. For the in depth life story check the DJ smallz eyes interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wi27N7565WY&t=47s |

| Search | Add | 5 | Jason Staal | Jason was one of three vocalists en songwriters from the group Asman, founded in Assen, The Netherlands as a school project in 1999/2000. By 2008 the remaining trio continued to perform Dutch songs in the vein of Acda & De Munnick and Veltdhuis & Kemper. Their distinctive sound, three voices harmonizing, was already apparent on their debut album, 'Mijn Wereld', released 2006. In 2008 they released their second album, 'Eerst Is Nu Wel Klaar' as a full blown six piece rock band. The album was an improvement to it's predecessor in sound and songwriting qualities. Their third and last studio album 'Bijna Voor Elkaar' (2012) was another improvement but it turned out to be their last full album of new work. The follow-up was an acoustic live version of 'Bijna Voor Elkaar', recorded in an intimate setting for a small selected audience. The set was also filmed and released on DVD. With no recording contract and a breakthrough elusive the group called it a day in 2015, playing a farewell gig on September 12, 2015 in 'De Nieuwe Kolk' in Assen. After the break-up of Asman Jason embarked on a solo career beginning with the album 'Daggedachten' which got quite some airplay on the Dutch national radio. The follow up album was called 'Nachtgedachten' and continues in the vain of his debut album. In 2019 he was invited to record a live version of 'Nachtgedachten' in front of an audience in Nijend in the Dutch village of Anderen. After a relatively quite period of time Jason released his album 'Tussen Twijfel En Tijd' which shows Jason matured as a songwriter as well as a musician. The album has songs in various moods and styles, but are all recorded with a full blown and competent backing group. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Lew Anderson | Lewis Burr Anderson | Lew Anderson (May 7, 1922 – May 14, 2006) was an American actor and musician, most famous for being the third and final actor to portray Clarabell the Clown on Howdy Doody between 1954 and 1960. He was also a musician. He famously spoke Clarabell's one and only line on the program on the show's final episode in 1960, with a tear visible in his eye, "Goodbye, kids." Anderson was born in Kirkman, Iowa, the son of a railroad telegrapher. He began playing his sister's clarinet when she tired of it, and by high school had formed his own dance band. After a year in junior college in Fort Dodge, Iowa, he received a music scholarship to Drake University in Des Moines. He attended for two years, but then quit school to begin his professional musical life by accepting a job with the Lee Barron sleeper bus band. During World War II, Anderson served in the United States Navy where he started his first band. After serving in the Navy in World War II, he joined the Carlos Molinas Latin Orchestra, where he also wrote the American dance arrangements. In the late 1940s, he joined The Honey Dreamers, a singing group that appeared on radio and early television shows like The Ed Sullivan Show. While working with the group, he met "Buffalo" Bob Smith who offered him the role on the Howdy Doody show. Anderson again played Clarabell on the short-lived "New Howdy Doody Show" in 1976-1977 and in the 1987 40th anniversary special and made personal appearances as Clarabell with Buffalo Bob for many years thereafter. After his six year stint as Clarabell, he returned to music, and in his later years, played and led the 16-piece Lew Anderson Big Band Friday nights in New York's jazzclub, Birdland. Anderson died in Hawthorne, New York from complications of prostate cancer. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Rockin' Bobby Harris | Robert Edward Harris | Born in 1937 in Simcoe, Ontario, Rockin' Bobby Harris began his musical career at the age of 16 when he bought his first acoustic guitar and began playing rockabilly, with both originals and covers. Although his main gig was driving a big rig, Bobby still whooped and hollered whenever he could. He was a big fan of Carl Perkins, Johnny Horton, Buddy Holly and Johnny Cash. In 1960 he finally met Johnny Cash face to face, and was blown away by that meeting. Bob also released a single during his younger years. Once Bobby retired from trucking, he had more time to play. From 1997 to 2007 Bobby joined 'Two Dollar Bill And His Bad Pennies' playing gigs all over Ontario. When he realized his health was starting to hold him back from playing, Bobby cut a CD in 2005 with producer Andy Magoffin so he'd have a viable recording of his style and music. Two different version of this CD exist. When Two Dollar Bill broke his band up, Bobby began singing with Bernie Demmery's band in Port Dover for two years. Bobby stopped actively playing after 2009, but still lives down in Tillsonburg, ON, where music is still his life. Bob is also a very skilled artist, and one of his drawings is on display at the Simcoe Art Museum. |
