Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | Rock Da Mo$T | Rock Da Most | Rock Da Most was a German-based Hip-Hop group in Berlin. The crew was composed of members DJ Derezon, DJ Run X Kid, MC Roskoe and MC Blacky. Credited with releasing the first record by a West German Hip-Hop group, Rock Da Most released [m=242825] in 1989 prior to the reunification of West and East Germany. Birthed by the Hip-Hop scene in Germany, Rock Da Most, like other Hip-Hop artists and groups, were influenced by the images of American Hip-Hop circulating at the time. During the late 1970s to mid 1980's, Germany experienced its short era of an old-school Hip Hop scene after Charlie Ahearn's 1982 film Wild Style and the 1984 film Beat Street produced by Harry Belafonte. Through the depiction of an African-American / Latino-American youth street culture in America, films like these influenced the Hip-Hop scene in Germany as well as its manifestation. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Jerry Justice | Jerry "Liberty" Justice | Born July 12, 1935 in Raytown, Missouri Jerome Lamar "Liberty" Justice wrote, played, and sang Bluegrass and Country tunes from 1971 to 1978. He was a member of "Green Side Up" Bluegrass Band who released a Vinyl LP with several of his original songs. He released a country album of his own called "Justice," for which he composed all of the tunes. Update: Jerry performed at Hobo Festivals all over the country from the 1980's until shortly before his death. Using his (and his Father's) stage name, "Liberty Justice" he wrote and recorded at least 40 songs in the hobo and hard life on the road themes assembled as 4 self produced albums of 10 songs each. This collection is now being copyrighted and released posthumously as CDs and Downloads by his widow, Brenda Justice. The collection is being remastered and designed for publication by ArchivalProductions.com. Jerry self-produced and recorded one last album on CD covering Country standards with his wonderful voice and playing called, "Blue River Blues" His other writings and works are being compiled now, including lots of unpublished inspirational songs written in the hospital as he was dying. Hundreds of people knew him as Jerry Justice, thousands loved him as Liberty Justice. A veteran of the Korean War, he served as a member of the United States Airforce. During the 1920's and early 1930's his father John David Justice had ridden the rails as a hobo, seeking work. Adopting the hobo name "Liberty," Jerry followed in his father's footsteps, logging close to 30,000 miles on the rails between 1993 and 1998. In 1996 he was voted National Hobo King at the annual Hobo Convention at Britt, Idaho. He was also dubbed the National Hobo Troubadour. | Search | Add | 5 | Gie Few | GIE FEW is an American folk-rock band from Southern California comprised of songwriter Will Ferguson (vocals, guitar), Jon LaCroix (keyboards, vocals), Dan Lutz (bass, vocals), Karma Auger (drums, vocals), and Chris Clermont (guitar, vocals). The band's original songs bring an authentically vintage sound to the modern LA music scene. Drawing on early folk-rock influences, Will began to hone his craft in the traditions laid by the likes of Dylan, Springsteen, Neil Young, and The Band. Gie Few has had success from licensing the use of their music for television and film. The band’s name comes from a Robert Burns poem. ‘Here’s tae us, wha’s like us, gie few and they’re a deed’. Although that initial Celtic influence is not as obvious anymore, the name lives on! | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Kenny Cree | Kenneth John Cree | Kenneth "Kenny" John Cree is a British Singer-Songwriter, Producer and Multi-Instrumentalist. He is most known for his single "1989" and his cover of "Wellerman". He was born on the 15th September 2006. Kenny started making music in 2013 when he was given a tablet for his Christmas present in 2012. Since then he went has gone on to make 12 singles, 2 albums and 4 EPs. His debut studio album, ONE, was released on January 8th 2022 and his sophomore album, To Past Me, Goodbye, was released on May 19th 2023 on Unsainted Recordings (A label owned by himself) He has been involved in several projects, most notably Seabound (not to be confused with the German Electronic Duo from the 2000s) and High Fire Rises (now known as Obsidian) as the lead vocalist and more recently, rhythm guitarist. All would come to a halt while he worked on To Past Me, Goodbye and then would most be cancelled. The only side project he really works on nowadays would be is Electronic / Lo-Fi project entitled ClearBlock, which the first EP, Stray Cat, released December 30th 2022 also on Unsainted Recordings. In July 2023, he announced work on All Variations Advised, a passion project of his that is supposed to replace the long running acoustic sound of his in favour of an indie pop type sound that best represents him as a person. The album has no concrete release date but he plans to release it nearer to the end of 2023 and start of 2024, but will take as long as the album requires. His final single I Hate You, released July 28th 2023. In September 2023, Kenny announced the cancellation of All Variations as he felt the project's progress halting and didn't see it working in the long term due to his sound being very misrepresentative of him at the time. Around the same time, he released a cryptic message on his instagram which read "forget what you think you know", which fans speculated to be the release of the album, but was later revealed to be a new project all together. This project, entitled lightbl0om, would be the start of this new era for Kenny, ditching his old ways of releasing demos and rough releases, and now only releasing things he deems worth releasing. In November 2023, under the moniker of lightbl0om, he released the remake of his first album, now entitled "0NE", alongside this releasing the indie rock version of his track "broken" as a single. |

Rachel Guerzo, Soliano’s granddaughter, first started performing as a child. She now performs as a jazz singer and pianist around KL. This year marks 25 years since Alfonso Soliano’s passing. His influence may not be widely known today, but he arguably influenced the sound of modern Malaysian music more than any other one man. He was leader of the Radio Malaya orchestra and later conductor of the RTM Orchestra. He introduced the sound of bebop to the country. He was the mastermind behind many major local artists of the 1970’s, including Sharifah Aini. In his own day, Alfonso Soliano was a household name. Today, you might struggle to name one of his songs. But Rachel hopes to change that. She has just released an album, entitled Alfonso 25, that pays tribute to her grandfather and brings many of his songs to a new audience. “When I first had the idea for the first project, I wanted to show how timeless the music was and I wanted a diversified group of musicians so that we could showcase the music to different genres,” says Rachel. She selected different Malaysian musicians from different genres to interpret the songs for the album, including Ali Aiman, Lokman Aslam and Bihzhu. “We have hip-hop, we have EDM, we have folksy indie music and then there’s us [The Guerzos] which is more jazz rock. That was the whole idea, to have a diverse group of musicians.” In his lifetime, Soliano himself worked with a variety of musicians and genres – from grand orchestras to small bands playing in nightclubs and dance halls. According to musical historian Saidah Rastam, his compositions of off-beat jazz (or bebop) were at first baffling to KL’s audiences, but soon caught on. He was multi-talented: incredibly fluent in traditional Malay music styles like bangsawan, while also being able to interpret these for a symphonic orchestra. For Soliano, music was in his blood. In colonial Malaya, the British couldn’t find enough musicians who knew Western styles of music. So at the turn of the century, 64 musicians were brought over from the Philippines – somewhat ironically – to start a state band for Selangor. Soliano’s father was one of these Filipino musicians, and he settled in Malaya and started a family. Alfonso was born in Singapore in 1925 as the youngest of 17 children. Many of the family became respected musicians of their time and frequently performed together as jazz music grew in popularity. “Jazz was so prominent then, it was kind of like the music of the day. It’s kind of like what hip-hop is now. It was the contemporary music of the 50s,” says Rachel, who today performs with two of her brothers, Don and Dado, in The Guerzos. At just age seven, Alfonso Soliano – known as Nonong to his family – started performing around the country in a touring troupe. As he grew up, his career took him from colonial Malaya, through the Japanese occupation and into independent Malaya. But in his prime, he was forced to leave the very land that he called home. In the 1960’s, critical voices pressured Soliano to resign from Radio Malaya, where he was a full time conductor and arranger for the orchestra. According to Saidah Rastam’s research, this criticism was partly motivated by Soliano’s religion (he was not Muslim) and the Western influence of his music. Soliano ended up moving to Bangkok for several years, but his pride was wounded to the point that he refused to return to collect an AMN award in 1966. It was only in 1973 that Soliano was persuaded to return to Malaysia to work for RTM. However, his health soon started to deteriorate and he retired after suffering a stroke. Rachel herself was with her grandfather when he died." | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Le Feeling | Le Feeling | Le Feeling composes and performs live soundtracks to radical, often censored, queer films. The “band” is comprised of Thomas John Roach, Jr. and Daniel Paul Boucher. Tom spent many years playing bass for Minneapolis-based band Lifter Puller and regularly collaborates with Wolfgang Tillman’s band Fragile. Dan spent an almost decade playing drums and various other instruments for Boston-based sculpture/rock/experimental performance art collective Neptune. Le Feeling sounds nothing like any combination of any of those aforementioned bands. Drawing inspiration from the films, writings and cultural contributions of Jean Genet, Chantal Ackerman, Derek Jarman, David Wojnarowicz, Kenneth Anger and Guy Maddin (amongst others), the musical arc bends closer to the light of ethereal, industrial, new wave, non-wave, possibly pretty, inexpensive jazz, psychedelic anti-music and danceable if you’re terrible at math. Dan and Tom met at Jacques Cabaret in Boston in 2003. Soon after that chance meeting, Dan found himself stranded in Paris due to a canceled tour with his former band. Tom, who was living in Paris at that time, invited Dan to sleep on the couch for the remaining month. During that month, the two spent an absurd amount of time at the most tragic, most amazing, yet cheapest gay bar within walking distance. The bar was called Le Feeling. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Rebelhot | rebelHot is a 4 piece band absolutely soaked in rootsy 70’s Rock influences. A mix of rock, blues, and funk you can’t miss. Since releasing their debut album back in 2016, featuring Jason Patterson from Cry of Love as special guest and mastered by Alessadro Del Vecchio, rebelHot have already toured and also played at festivals around Europe with artists like Y&T, The Darkness, Joe Lynn Turner, The Quireboys, Autograph, Skinny molly and many others. Their long awaited new album “Uncomfortableness” will be released worldwide on October the 12th 2018 via Metalapolis records and will feature 10 brand new songs plus an exclusive bonus track on the Vinyl edition. “Uncomfortableness” has been produced by rebelHot, recorded, mixed and mastered at their own P-Rose Studio by guitarist Paul Mainetti. The band recorded the majority of the album live directly in the studio mixing console and they’re very proud of this rough old style result. No digital effects or overdubs were used and it sounds live just like the 70s albums you're used to. The new album has been enriched with some bluesy sounds like harmonica and female choirs in a few songs, while still maintaining that funky power and those Southern sounds typical of the band. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Chicago Philharmonic Orchestra | This profile is only for recordings between 1925-1958. For later recordings, use [a13983661]. In 1925, the Chicago radio station WGN stated broadcasting their radio orchestra. Chicago Philharmonic was basically the house orchestra of the radio station WGN. [a3978074] was musical director of WGN from 1934 to 1958, conducting the orchestra. They played live concerts with guest conductors [a5562949] in 1936, and [a6550564] in 1937. One of their violinists were Orvin A. Sale. Some lathe cut/lacquer discs exist of Leo Sowerby: Symphony No 3/Weber/Chicago PO, from a 1946 performance. That recording is incomplete because the radio station broadcasting the program live cut-off the broadcast on the hour, a few minutes before the symphony concluded. Leo, presumably, paid a recording service to record it off the air. [l731225] released recordings produced by Mercury Records, on mostly red vinylite pressings. These discs were released to "subscribers" of the Sears catalog in early spring/summer 1947. Note that orchestras appears under several aliases and name variants, presumably due to rights issues, sometimes paired with conductor [a696257]. Around 1951, Mercury released a couple of compilation LPs from the Silvertone releases. The orchestra closed down 1956. The Silvertone tracks were compiled and reissued again on Paramount Enterprises' "Hollywood" bargain LP label between 1956 and '58. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Satin Gum | Satin Gum is an American power pop/alternative rock band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania consisting of songwriter Brian Spekis (Vocals, Guitar), Jonathan Gunnell (Guitar, Backing Vocals), Travis Craig (Bass), and Dan Vavro (Drums, Backing Vocals). The band, originally a trio consisting of Spekis, Craig, and Vavro, formed in the spring of 2008 and quickly released their debut, ‘EP’, on June 17, 2008. ‘EP’ was completed in do-it-yourself fashion with the members tackling all duties themselves (writing, recording, releasing, and distributing), their only background education coming from the school of trial-and-error. In the spring of 2009, Satin Gum added a fourth member, Jonathan Gunnell, on guitar and keyboards. Gunnell was a longtime friend of the band and had attended many of their early shows. He was somewhat reluctant to join at first due to an already busy work/school schedule, but he was bribed by The Gum with external hard drives, a troll doll collection, and unlimited cold beers. Satin Gum digitally released their first full-length album, ‘LP’, on August 27, 2009. A CD release followed in September. This effort was recorded & engineered by lead Gum dude Spekis with Gunnell handling mixing & mastering. On July 22, 2010, Satin Gum released ‘EP2′ which was regarded as the “most underrated local release of the year” by Andy Mulkerin of Pittsburgh’s City Paper. This was the first Satin Gum release where the mastering job was assigned to someone outside of the band, one Garrett Haines (of TreeLady Studios) who declared, “This album screams “HIT ME HARD!” Satin Gum’s latest effort, ‘EP3′, was released on September 20, 2011. Since their inception, Satin Gum has shared the stage with prominent musical artists such as Jesse Malin, Frightened Rabbit, Smith Westerns, We Are Scientists, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, Cymbals Eat Guitars, and French Kicks. The Gum’s songs have been placed in major television shows such as The Good Wife on CBS. No strangers to a delectable chow, the band members are often seen in their downtime enjoying a sandwich known as the “Leroy Brown”, a half-pound of Angus topped off with homemade BBQ sauce, sugar-glazed peppercorn bacon, and cheddar cheese. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Etienne Machine | From the guitars’ electricity to the synthesizers’ electronics, Etienne Machine navigate through the genders, at the edge of the art-rock, electronica and trip-hop. (The) Human or (the) machine, a duality evoking 21st century’s spleen and melancholy where feelings and sensations confront electronic sequences and saturated guitars. A confrontation between the instinct and the reason held by the different voices that the group borrows through sensible and incisive texts. Tied up/connected by a strong and sincere friendship, the Lausanne-based Etienne Machine are some Jack-of-all-trades / dabblers: musicians, producers, lyric writers, remixers but also founders of the collective «La Machinerie». This pool of rock and electronic experimentation brings together their close musical world, where each member interferes in the other’s universe. Numerous roles that strengthen the tenacious link that bounds all the humans hidden behind the machines’ coldness. | |
