Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Data Koroptev | Czech-Slovak experimental music trio. They made their first public appearance in November 2019. Brought together through a commission from Bratislava’s NEXT Festival, three skilled players coming from diverse backgrounds join forces in a collaborative adventure, on a playground that could be described as an “open paradigm”. In an ever-changing flow of musical interactions, virtually any sound including the most obscure seems to be equally likely. Improvisational guitarist Ondrej Zajac creatively spices up his instrument’s possibilities with effects and electronics, while producer and film composer, Ondřej Ježek together with drummer, Václav Šafka bring life to various objects and small tabletop devices. You could call the resulting collection of tracks a truly free and unbounded experimental expression of the 21st century, bearing the form of a fluid electro-acoustic improvisation. Evocative sonic narratives are carefully knit together from surprising motifs, creating an ongoing dialogue of distinct sonic personas. Often unfinished and imperfect, more transformative than ironic, these fragments coexist next to each other informed by the rich histories of their different musical styles: from circuit-bent noise and industrial, to electronica, post rock and even blues. Sometimes an insistent machine logic arises, manifested in repetitive rhythmic loops which eventually dissolve long before they become established. Through restless exploration of unheard sonic territories, the band’s effort looks toward the future revealing a visionary potential, but at the same time keeping the listener always “in the game”, focusing on the present moment. Search | Add | 2 | Dave Gold [Blunt Matter] | Dave Gold is one half of Nottingham trip hop collaboration Blunt Matter. Dave Gold (Instrumentation/Orchestration) and D-Gat (Beatz/Groovz/Turntablist) formed in Nottingham 2006. The two decided to collaborate on a few mixes and Blunt Matter was created. The duo produced and released several tracks for a small independent label. The two members then mutually decided to seek out their own paths. D-Gat returned to DJing, whilst Gold continued as a music producer. Despite no longer working together, the two found that, they still kept influencing each others music. In late 2008 the two members of Blunt Matter decided to reform and are now working on new material for the future.

Search | Add | 2 | Ensemble Romulo Larrea | The year 2020 marks the 30th anniversary of the Ensemble Romulo Larrea. Its founder is the Uruguayan bandoneonist Romulo Larrea, described by the press as the one by whom the Tango took root in Quebec. More than 40 years of artistic activity have passed since its beginnings in Montreal with the first Canadian tango group, Tango x 4. The creation of repertoires and their dissemination are the engines of the cultural organization and are made possible thanks to the dynamism and the talent of our artists and designers. The Ensemble's concerts and shows have always been inspired as much by traditional tango as by contemporary tango and integrate the disciplines of dance and song that have rubbed shoulders with tango since its birth.

Search | Add | 2 | Susanne Klimmer | Vienna-based singer-songwriter Susanne Klimmer published her debut album "NOW" in 2016. Her second album "AND THEN" followed in October 2021. She doesn’t follow the rules of mainstreaming songwriting. Her songs tell stories. And just as life sometimes does, the songs often take unexpected turns. Sometimes pensive and brooding, sometimes full of love, always powerful and from the heart – that’s how her music comes along. The new single “Feels Like Home”, published in 2023, was inspired by a long-awaited road trip. Drifting through the day, enjoying the sun, the sand, and the sea, allowing the unexpected, perceive and observe - that's what she desired. And that’s how it was. Even if this road trip is long over, memories of an exciting journey, beautiful encounters, new perspectives on life and a relaxation, that hasn't existed for a long time, still remain. "Feels Like Home” is a declaration of love to life, to the sea, to love, and to much more.

Search | Add | 2 | Rocco Capano | Rocco Capano | Rocco Capano aka Rocco Cee from Brickyard has been creating innovative Hip-Hop in & around Lynn Massachusetts since the 80's . Many don't know his story , but they should as he's trained , inspired & shaped the talents of many more recognized MC's , Producers & DJ's from the area. Around 1996 a cassette named "Brickyard - Stir Some Shit" started to circulate around Lynn & Boston & for the few fortunate to get their hands on a copy they'd never forget it til present day. Lyrics , Scratches & Beats crafted on the SP-1200 all by Rocco who verbally manhandled his way around his own gritty creations all with an unmistakingly Bostonian accent which only makes his vocals that much more unique & style more original. Some songs from Stir Some Shit can be viewed on Rocco's soundcloud. |

Search | Add | 2 | Puma Jones | Sandra Jones | Sandra "Puma" Jones (October 5, 1953—January 28, 1990) was an American singer, best known as a member of the Grammy Award-winning reggae group Black Uhuru. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Jones graduated from Columbia University in New York City. She studied dance with the Chuck Davis troupe where she took a particular interest in African dance. After becoming disillusioned with city life she declared a need to "discover her roots" and moved to Jamaica. Deciding to build a singing career, Jones sang with the band Sons of Negus led by Ras Michael. In 1978, she was introduced by a mutual friend to Derrick "Duckie" Simpson, the leader of reggae group Black Uhuru. That group was undergoing a significant lineup change that also included the addition of singer Michael Rose. Jones became a full member of Black Uhuru and sang on seven studio albums, starting with Showcase in 1979 and also including the critically acclaimed Red in 1981 and Anthem in 1983. Jones was noted for adding lyrics on religious and social topics to Black Uhuru songs, during a period when reggae musicians were often accused of being trite and dismissive of women, and she was also known for. her haunting voice. Her last full album with the group was Brutal in 1986. Before sessions began for the album Positive in 1987, Jones was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had to withdraw from Black Uhuru and was replaced by singer Olafunke. Jones returned to the United States for treatment and died at age 36 on January 28, 1990. She was buried near her family home in South Carolina. |
