Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Conconquidore Truidore | Conconquidore Truidore is a psychedelic music group from Toronto led by Rob Cole, active mostly between 2005 and 2012. Described by the band: "Melodies are sung or whistled and then translated onto various instruments*. The band is directed by one, and stars 5 more**. Sometimes the players play what's written for them. Other times they play for themselves until the director stops them and says "Perfect, again!" It is somewhat theatrical, aiming to sound like images, a soundtrack to itself. Some sounds are secretly borrowed from the world. Some melodies have been dreamt and some lyrics have been hallucinated. Some words are made up, and some syllables are sung strangely to sound wrong. It is full of subliminal code. Not. Its favourite instruments are those that can be played in parks. Its favourite concepts are those that "serve as the axe for the frozen sea within us." It longs for a dignified colour palette, but can't seem to say no to any colour. It longs longer and longer everyday. * guitars, pianos, flutes, banjos, harmonicas, erhus, saxophones, accordions jembes, sound recordings (Etc) ** Rob Cole, Julia Carney, Kyle McQueston, Alexander R. Arvelo McQuaig, Nicholas Kerr, Tristan Murphy, Courtney Arthur, Paul Castrodale (etc)." | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Rex Battle | Rex Battle. Pianist, bandleader, conductor, composer, b London 4 Jan 1892 (1895?), d Toronto 27 Jan 1967. A child prodigy, he had his first piano lessons with Vlahol Budmani, who presented him at Buckingham Palace. Battle later studied organ with E.H. Thorne. After several tours in Australia he settled in New York, where he assisted Sigmund Romberg in the production of operettas. He resumed his career as a pianist with a series of broadcasts in 1921 on WWJ, Detroit, then played 1922-9 at the Mount Royal Hotel, Montreal. He was conductor 1929-38 of the Royal York Hotel Concert Orchestra, Toronto, which was heard in the USA on the NBC network for several years, and he also conducted an orchestra, chorus, and soloists for broadcast 1930-1 on the CPR network. He formed in 1934 one of Canada's first (jazz) big bands; with Trump Davidson and Cliff McKay among its members, it performed in the summer of 1935 at Bob-Lo Island near Detroit. After three years in New York, where he studied piano with Moriz Rosenthal and Hedwig Kanner-Rosenthal, performed and conducted, Battle appeared in 1941 as pianist with the Promenade Symphony Concerts in Toronto. Soon after he returned to live in Toronto, where he served 1943-56 as music director and conductor of CBC radio's 'Singing Stars of Tomorrow'. In 1962 he began performing with young operatic singers of his choice at Toronto's Gaslight Restaurant. Battle composed a short orchestral piece, Simon Says 'Thumbs Up ' (Thompson), as well as morceaux for piano, violin, and voice. His few 78s for Apex as a pianist (in Chopin and Liszt) and accompanist (to Ernest-Gill Plamondon, Roy O'Connor and Leon Kofman) are listed in Roll Back The Years. Apex 78s attributed to 'Rex Battle And His Dance Orchestra' or 'Rex Battle and His Mount Royal Hotel Orchestra' have been disputed by Battle and are possibly examples of his name simply being used as a pseudonym for recordings by other artists. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Elvio Seta | Elvio Seta | Elvio Seta, real name of Neuf Voix, is an Italian composer specializing in sound synthesis and experimental composition. His work delves into sound and harmony perception, connecting the combination of avant-garde compositional systems and their alternative use. His technique focuses on a detailed analysis of the composition’s fundamental elements, deeply exploring both the microscopic structure of sound – thanks to complex sound synthesis and manipulation machines – and that of harmony and counterpoint, drawing on 20th-century avant-garde compositional such as dodecaphony and the microtonal system. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Juan Mauricio Schmid Bello | Juan Mauricio Schmid Bello | Juan Mauricio Schmid Bello — born 8 November 1993 at 01:30 pm in Bogotá, Colombia, is a Swiss-Colombian musician, artist and philosopher based in Switzerland. Active since 2009 under the name monsterwheel, he works across music, art and philosophy in a transdisciplinary way. After departing ways from BlackMedia in 2017, the birth of his solo career begun in 2019 releasing ∅ – Empty Set, a mathematic alternative record weaving numerology, astrology and sonic minimalism into a generational manifesto blending the sounds of Boards of Canada and Radiohead. In 2023 followed ♇ – Pluto, the obscurest and transformative millennial work dedicated to all but specially the GenX (1971-1984), to avoid the apocalypse of ultracapitalism and the black earth possibility. Alongside music, Schmid Bello has produced 35 unique artworks to date, structured into two distinct eras — Winterthur (2012–2015) and Zürich (2015–2019). These works trace his evolution from raw experimental forms to complex symbolic systems, forming the visual backbone of his oeuvre. His first philosophical work, Eingang/Ausgang (2022), was decisive in the recovery of Switzerland’s five cultural smart cities — Basel, Zürich, Bern, Geneva and Winterthur. By connecting artistic creation with civic responsibility, it helped secure their recognition against gentrification forces, satanism and corruption with parallel help of the Interpol. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Orinocco | Thomas Oberhöller | Thomas Oberhöller, born 10.09.1987 in Munich (Germany), lives since the age of 3 in Vorarlberg (Austria). In the young age of 13, he had his first contact with psychedelic music and a year later, he attended the first psychedelic-party. Since this time, he is totally conspired to psychedelic music. In 2006, he got interested in creating UV-decorations by himself and the backgrounds of how to organize a psychedelic-party. How things developed, he found the club “Psycana” in 2007, which is mainly a decoration-crew consisting of friends that nearby organize events. In these times, Thomas also started studying deejay skills and just one year later, he played his first dj-set under the moniker “Orinocco” on a party. Since that time, he played on several events in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. In 2012, Thomas found the clothing-label “Skalar-Shop” with its own small screen-printing studio. During the years, the club Psycana continuous grew and further developed in its interests. Because of this, Thomas and his partner Felix founded “Psycana Records” on march 2014 as record label. Today, Thomas still loves to deejay for each who wants to hear him, regardless of crowd size, just to share psychedelic passion! Orinocco´s music style ranges from darkpsy/forest/psychedelic to oldshool/guitar-psy. |
