Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

From sellotaped reel-to-reel tape-loops, through cassette-based collages to Peak-edited clattering cut-up street-voice incantations. He was the only member of parallel universe fantasy garage band [a=The Four Plugs] who got a couple of singles played on Peel at the end of the 70s and whose only modern fan is Henry Rollins. Repetitive John has spent 40 years reciting to vomiting rebels in the drunken rooms of poetry-sewer London. He is the author of the ever popular entrances2hell.co.uk and also creates ambient drones under the name BooLooLoo Numbers |

Search | Add | 2 | Reality Deformed | Black/Death Metal In January 2011 the studio/solo project was founded by Jens. After 8 years of playing guitar, and being in some bands and trying out some musical experiments it was decided to start Reality Deformed as a one man project. After a year of writing and recording there was enough material for a mini CD, but financially it was not yet feasible. In January 2012 writing continued, with a few changes in the musical area, and also, Oane joined the project for vocals and lyrical writing as a try out. After he finished his first track with Jens (“Natures Final Vengeance”) it was such a success that he joined Reality Deformed as a full member. Since then they have been writing new material together. In October 2012 the first Promo was released by the band, featuring 3 tracks. The first two are new material, and the last one earlier work featuring only Jens January 2013 the debut CD Constructing Disloyalty was released after 3 years when the project started. This CD contains 4 tracks and one intro of earlier material where Oane wasn't involved yet.

Search | Add | 2 | Throbject | "We started playing as an instrumental 3 piece about 2 years ago with the intention of carrying the torch for late 80s prog punk rockers like King Sour, Bread Winner, Stinking Lizaveta, Jesus Lizard, and Buzzard, the result of which wound up being a Cave In (old cave in) meets Refused meets Quicksand and a Dischord punk/joy division kind of wash out. Then, we tried out Dave, and he complimented the sound enough and to the extent that we started laying off the progressive math/trickery and decided to write songs with actual verses, hooks, refrains and the like. Last year, we recorded a live 4 song demo (War God, Water, Firon, Figh on Hire) with Sniper Studios. In the end, we found that recording live (against the wizard's advice) was a bad idea because the drum mics picked up everything, but the record still sounds killer, respectively. In the interest of full disclosure, Vince warned us -- we did not listen, so the sound was not as clean as we would have liked. And, neurotically enough, we never released it until recently because we could not agree on a band name. On April 26th, we finished a 6 song release after learning from a few mistakes we made last year, and this record shows more maturity in writing and production on our part, but it could still use a little polish. We still cannot agree on a name that we all like, but we wanted to release 10 of our songs, so Throbject it is... Dave sang (ex Guilty Bystander, Craw Jack, Start To Fetish) Pete played guitar (ex One Pound Baby, Black Ranchero) Tim played drums (ex One Pound Baby, Black Ranchero) Ahmasi played bass (ex Craw Jack,The misanthrope Project (1% Records, Confederate Brotherhood, Open Grave Records, Sleeping Village Records, and Land of Smile Records) Sourvein (candlelight records), Innerface, and Crescent Fresh)"

Search | Add | 2 | Thomas Ueber | Thomas Ueber | Thomas was born in Germany where he lives and works. Music has been with him all his life. He recorded radio broadcasts in childhood and later there were various DJ appearances, mainly at private events of friends or colleagues. Later then, all this turned into a serious interest for computer music production. First contact in Propellerhead Reason demo and in Ableton Live 8 Suite but today the center of every of each of his productions is Steinberg Cubase Pro and sometimes Bitwig. Digital as well as analogue components provide the drive in the home studio. With a little focus more in the digital area he makes use of modular softsynths or a Reaktor ensemple as well as an emulation of a Roland synth, drum samples and orchestral Kontakt instruments. All shouldn´t be missing there. His genre is electronic music. The style ranges from acid to idm, electro and techno or deep house with a touch of Balearic vibes. However, the musical influences come from all directions from blues, rock, country or sometimes jazzy and pop. |

Founded by Chuck Camp and his wife Mae, the members of the group varied over time but for many years consisted of the Camps and their children Bill, James, Mary and Catherine (Catey) Camp. La famille Casgrain, which is one in the sense of friendship, is the pretext for a group of about ten students to meet, to do musical research, to criticize what is done in the world of entertainment ... At the very beginning, it was a nice joke mounted for an amateur session at collège Sainte-Marie (now l'Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM)). Then, it was no longer quite an opportunity to happily pay the head of the fashionable bands by parodying the successes of the hour.

Her universe is created by sorrow and hope, love and lies, darkness and light. Juka’s sources of inspiration are experiences of, feelings about and observations surrounding the complex and simple realities we usually refer to as life. Juka is the solo project from frontwoman, singer, guitarist, pianist etc. in the avantgarde-pop-group Qu'est-ce Que Fück, the punk band Walking Psychosis and Mack the Knife.

Search | Add | 2 | Surfoniani | Surf trio from Turin Italy. Reverb out of limits, wild bikini, tiki possessed and dirty rock 'n' roll! The Surfoniani are a surf music trio, devoted to the most reverberated sonorities of the Sixties. They came from Turin (Italy): Giamba on the guitar, Fra on the upright bass and Tony on the drums. They were born in 2005 from the former punk rock band Funny Extasy that animated the night in Turin in the past years. In 2008 Matteo replaced Hermann and The Surfoniani played at the “Surfer Joe Summer Festival” and again in 2010, when they also opened the Los Straitjackets concert in Alessandria. The autumn of the same year, Herman came back and with him on the drums they played once again at the “Surfer Joe” fest opening the concert for another great band: Tito & Tarantula. At the beginning of 2014 Tony, bass player in the bands Ponches and Kelvins, two great bands of the Turin punk rock scene, took his place on the drums. With him, the number of live concerts increased and they consolidated their musical richness, distinguished by the drums and double bass strong rhythm section where Giamba's wild guitar find its perfect place. The Surfoniani also have an acoustic project called “Street Version” that gives them the chance to play in any situation using portable amplifiers and a minimal drums with great sound results that recall the Polynesian atmosphere. Besides participating in the already mentioned events, The Surfoniani played in many concerts in Piedmont, Lombardy and Liguria. At the end of 2015, the band walked into the studio and recorded the tracks for their debut album.

Search | Add | 2 | Ghost Note Project | Thessaloniki, Greece Asklipios Zambetas (guitar), Christos Tsaprazis (bass) and Giorgos Tolios (drums) came together in 2009, forming the core of a new group and experimenting with instrumental musical forms. The members of the group Trypes (Zambetas and Tolios) and Xylina Spathia (Tsaprazis) were soon developing a style that blended rock, funk and psychedelic, sometimes treading a fine line between jazz and ethnic. As their musical ideas matured, the first recording sessions were held at Rough Studios in Thessaloniki, where the three musicians were joined by a large number of friends and colleagues, each leaving his personal stamp on the final result: Evgenia Patika (piano, keyboards), Mihalis Vrettas (violin), Chrysanthos Christodoulou (synths, electronics), Stefanos Lazarinos (sax), Giorgos Avramidis (trumpet), Yiannis Marinos (trombone), Georgia Dagaki (Cretan lyre), Elias Aifantis (keyboards), Nikos Magnisalis (flute and percussion) and Izabela Zambeta (vocals). As the recording sessions proceeded, the group began to assume its final form, being joined by new members Kostas Papachristos (trumpet, piano), a member of Skaribas, and Christos Trypsiani (synths, electronics). The recording and mix in the studio, was made under the supervision of producer Christos Megas.
