Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | Nilg | Nilg was formed in 1991 in the soft area of Cologne. Coming from role models in Psychedelic Rock and Krautrock (especially Can, Queen, Herb Alpert), they have incorporated a whole range of influences into their playing over the years, from jazz and dub to electronic music to different types of so-called "ethnic" music (Stockhausen, Kuti, Gainsbourg etc.). This stylistic hodgepodge forms the fundus of musical forms that are repeatedly recombined in rhythmic improvisations, sound collages and the occasional song. That can be summed up as follows: "electronic music - hand-played" - not in the sense of the wax figure-like perfection of many post-rock bands, but as self-organizing, grooving chaos. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Andy Baar | Andy Baar | Andy Baar's first contact with electronic Dance music was in 1993 at Düsseldorf Unionrave. From there on he'd knew ”This is my thing”. Being Guest at several Parties with electronic Music he felt the need to swap his place on the dancefloor with a place behind the turntables. In 1996 having the first gigs in Clubs around Cologne. 1997 was the beginning of what he really liked: He started as resident DJ at Evosonic Radio. From the first day to it's last, Evosonic Radio was his second home base. Starting with the Show ”Evopool-Update”, he loved to work on air and everything that had to do with that, like recording jingles, creating concepts and sets for the show. Quick after that he had his first own weekly show called “Sleep Disorder”. Hours and hours on air, getting a much brighter horizon of what electronic music could do, he went more and more familiar with lots of genres electronic music has to offer. Several gigs around Germany and being a part of the Loveprades DJset 1998 and 1999 were some of his highlights. 2012 the old love of making Radio shows knocked on his door with the possibility of having an online broadcast at the 15th anniversary of Evosonic Radio. Since the he used this way for broadcasting his “Wunderbaar Radioshow” (since 2016 his show “Sleep Disorder” as podcast) for letting old and new fans have the typical sound again. 2017 started Evosonic Radio again….with Andy Baar. 2017 is also the year of another highlight in his career. On Evosonic Records his first production is released: "Sleep Disorder EP". |

| Search | Add | 5 | OLSK | OLSK is a musical project oriented toward dark and minimal techno, created in 2015. I previously worked on a psychedelic project, namely "The Karaganda Project", with already a 5 tracks full-on EP early 2014, and a full length, 8 tracks techno LP released in march 2015 on speed sound records, before creating a new project dedicated to techno: [a5136834]'s first EP: No pun intended, was released by subwoofer records. five subsequents EP have been released by NG records, Oxytech recordings, Viral digital Outbreak and Hexagon Recordings. Now renamed OLSK, my project ventures into a mix of darker sounds and melodic content. As a live act, OLSK likes to combine loops from already released tracks with sounds from hardware synths and drum machine, all of this controlled from an octatrack sampler, changing those tracks into a dynamic live set. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Das Nelson Konzept | Acoustic industrial solo project from Norrköping, Sweden. Active 1993 to early 2000. Das Nelson Konzept was the brainchild and solo project of Mikael Mildén from Norrköping (later Uppsala and Stockholm), Sweden. The music mostly consisted of lo-fi industrial ballads, recorded on a four channel porta studio, in a home studio named Silent Factory. Songs were often composed and based on a guitar chord sequence or riff, with added home made instruments and simple syntheziser melodies. Later, the sound was more influenced by noise and drifted towards instrumental music. The music was released on German cassette labels Echtzeit, Maljugin Musik and Tonspur Tapes, as well as own released material on the label Gray Crow Cassettes. Das Nelson Konzept only made one live appearance at an appartment in Uppsala 23 April 1999, recorded and released as the cd-r Tal der Ahnungslosen. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Lost Lakes | Madison, Wisconsin Lost Lakes is a collaboration between Corey Mathew Hart and Paul Mitch. The two met during a songwriting competition held by a local radio station. It wasn't until they returned for a duets portion of the follow year's competition that Corey saw Paul play bass and singing harmonies. The first time Corey and Paul played together, they clicked musically and personally. The collaboration has grown over the years, developing into a strong songwriting and production team with a focus on well-crafted tunes and tight vocal harmonies. Lost Lakes' self-titled debut record bears witness to their talents and the fact the whole can be greater than the sum of its parts. Recorded over a 9 month period, the recording process was a labor of love. Paul and Corey produced the record and enlisted percussionist Shane Leonard (Field Report, The Stray Birds) along with longtime bandmate Rusty Lee on keyboards to fill out the sound. The project was recorded in a shared warehouse space called the Dojo. Many of the basic tracks were recorded live in 2 separate sessions with overdubs done in small Thursday night sessions. Being fairly porous to the outside elements, the temperature in the Dojo ranged from 41 degrees to well over 100 over the course of the project, adding a sense of adventure to the sessions. Being able to take their time for this project gave Corey and Paul a lot of freedom to try different sounds and arrangements for songs they have been playing live for a couple of years. With no pressure, no deadline, and a giant warehouse space filled with eclectic gear, the two managed to create a record of the highest quality. When it came time to mix the album, Corey and Paul called on an old acquaintance, Grammy award winning engineer Justin Guip. The two had met Guip years ago when they opened for The Amy Helm (daughter of Levon Helm) at a Barn show in Spring Green, WI. Guip also happened to have just finished a record with the Stray Birds that Shane Leonard played percussion on. The past and present collided, and the timing couldn't have been better. Corey and Paul approached Guip about mixing the record and he was very excited about the songs and tracks that were laid down at the Dojo. Guip's aesthetic greatly aligned with the vision that Paul and Corey had for the record, and the result is a compelling masterpiece. | |
