Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Angel S. | Angel Sakurai | From the early age of six years old when Angel Sakurai began his training in classical Piano and Organ, he has always had a special affinity for music. That special fondness was not limited to just classical music but also many other popular genre's like reggae, soul, dance, techno, and house music. In the mid 1990's Angel began his D.J. career spinning at popular Tokyo nightclubs like Fai, Lust, Cave, Web, Maist, Gamos, Manuera Cafe, GoGo Lounge, La Fabrique Tokyo to name a few. Angel's radio D.J. activities included spinning at FM Shonan Napasa and a Kamakura FM radio program. The year 2000 marked a notable point in his career, he was invited to participate in an album for Hemptone Inn Records. Angel produced the popular laid back track "Afternoon Gin" for the "Hemptone Inn Records VA 02" compilation album. Also in that same year, Angel released his debut album entitled "angel" in collaboration with "aor" fashion brand, popular in the young independent fashion scene. Angel's next album "angel volume 2" was released in March, 2001. This second album, also in collaboration with the Fashion label AOR was an original T-shirt and CD set. Sold at popular fashionable Tokyo shops like United Arrows, Far East Irony, this CD and T-shirt set was very well received. The Album's concept to create a cityscape soundtrack for different areas of the world special to Angel, Tokyo London, Paris, New York, and the Bali resort island, Legian. The ambient vibrations of the city and it's people, concrete or tropical, big or small. 2003, "Sexy Music" explores yet another aspect of the city. Keywords for this album are night, young Love, and things sexy. Taking the influences of late 70's and 80's Black American Contemporary Urban Music and combining the moody downbeat with present day dance music, to express Angel's unique night atmosphere. In the 2006, he was invited to participate in an album for Unity Records. Angel produced the deep and sexy track "Do What You Like" for the "SPIN:YELLOW" compilation album mixed by DJ Khadji, Unity Records A&R. 2013 Abegel released digital album “Angel Vol.01” on iTunes store and Amazon all over the world. On the other hand, Angel has started publishing Re-edit and remix singles on SoundCloud and Bandcamp since 2011. |

Search | Add | 3 | This Year's Comeback | Brian Matthew - Vocals. Nick Stier - Guitar. Justin Quintana - Guitar. Ken Rapsas - Bass. Ryan Connor - Drums. | With Screaming guitar riffs, powerful vocals and even stronger choruses, This Year's Comeback is the perfect blend of the nostalgic 2000's pop-punk and emo sound we've all grown up with. Fans have come to say that "This Year's Comeback isn't a band, they're a party." Formed in the summer of 2014, by friends Brian Matthew, Nick Stier, and Ryan Connor, This Year's Comeback took quite a while before finding an identity for itself. However, through many line-up changes and a few genre adjustments, in September of 2016, the band finally released its first demo tracks. Despite this step in the right direction, it wasn't until February of 2017 that an official line-up had finally been set in stone. With the accompaniment of Justin Quintana and bassist, Ken Rapsas, the band was finally ready to move towards much more grandeur projects. In June, 2017, TYC released their single, "Despite The Flood", less of a demo and more of an aural assault demonstrating the band's DIY capabilities, and raw musical prowess. The year following "Despite The Flood", 2018, This Year's Comeback released their first full length studio album "Far From Fine, A Garden State Tragedy" in 2018, the followup "Missing Pages" in 2019, and their "Douglas Wake" EP in 2019. Search | Add | 3 | Ill-Boy Phil | Phil F. | Dj / Producer Owner of TREIBJAGD RECORDS, U6-SCHALLPLATTEN, OPERATION TIGER Ill-Boy Phil / born 1982 / munich, germany. In the early 90´s he bought his first pair of turntables and started messing around with vinyl records. Starting turntablism and beatjuggling as a HipHop-DJ. Being fascinated by the medium, he built up his own record store “Ill-Biznizz Records” in 2001. Everything went well along the time, but things were about to change. After visiting several electronic festivals, Phil fell in love with electronic dance music. He started collecting his first techno and house vinyls and began organizing underground rave parties. Today his parties, called “Treibjagd”, are still the main events in the area. Big names, as well as creative youngsters, are always exited to show up and spin the tables. After so many years Phil decided to advance to the next level and started to produce his own sounds in 2010. After releasing some tunes and remixes on different labels, he decided to built himself and other talented artists a platform: “Treibjagd Records” was born and hit the scene very successfully. Artists like Patrick Kunkel, Pele, Lützenkirchen, Joseph Disco, Dema & Paride Saraceni produce for “Treibjagd Records” and new and talented artists get a chance to become recognized on the newly founded sublabel “U6 Schallplatten”. Phil truly loves music and the art of party. He hosts a radioshow on FEVAH FM 88.3, still plays on every good party he can catch on and searches for young talents to boost their career. His records get support from big names like Sven Väth, Aka Aka, Paco Osuna, Butch, Oliver Schories, M.A.N.D.Y, Slam and many many more… |
