Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | мʌvʌ | мʌvʌ is audiovisual artist who comes from Slovakia. Prior to songwriting, he had been writing poetry for several years. He never attended any music classes, so to compensate for it he started experimenting with different sounds, structures, rhythms and melodies. After recording some virtual piano demos at dorm which later turned into songs, he self-released debut album "Sinusoidal" under artistic name мʌvʌ in April 2016. Sonically, the record is a tilting mix of artificial and organic sounds, heaviness represented by grandiose church pipe and reed organs and lightness by uplifting solemn synth strings. In 2017, short 4-track EP of covers titled "Lues" came to life. It comprises of his own renditions of popular tracks from the late 50’s and early 60’s era. Trying to improve his skills, мʌvʌ decided to teach himself acoustic guitar. These attempts gave birth to the sophomore acoustic record "Enklávy bezlesia" [in English "Forest-free Enclaves"]. All songs (unlike those on the first album) are sung in Slovak language andhave their individual audiovisual presentation (music video, lyric video, photographies, herbarium). The album is primarily based on wordplay and its style is called "Slovák retrogard" in order to refer to the retrospective aspect of lyrics presented in new unorthodox context. The third record titled "Sun & Moon" explores living in the nether world with intricate animal aesthetics conveyed by vocal experiments, combining organic instrumentals with gloomy sounds of vintage synths.

Search | Add | 3 | mc2000 | BJ Scofield | MC2000 (BJ Scofield) is a programmer / remixer who started Limitless Records in 2000 to publish his own dance material. His first record was entitled "Spiritual Awakening." Next, he released "Musical Evolutions." His final record on Limitless was called "Psycho." Adam Freeland claimed it was one of the best produced demos he had heard in the US at the time (2001). It was a hard nuskool track that caught the attention of Scott Weiser of Jackal & Hyde and Dynamix II. Omar Santana also heard the track and then flew MC2000 to LA for a week to work on music for a proposed new project called the Cyberian Knights; a group of artists who produced dark, nu skool and electro music. His remix of [a=Jackal & Hyde] "Seek and Destroy" was released in 2006 on Warped Recordz. After working with [a=Omar Santana] MC2000 remixed a track of his called "Impending Boom" which is unreleased. BJ Scofield currently lives in San Francisco and produces electronic music as a hobby but not as seriously as he use to. |

Search | Add | 3 | Bea Abbott | American Jazz vocalist. Born 1925 Providence, Rhode Island Died 2007. She started singing as a junior high school student in Providence, Rhode Island. Her good looks and pretty voice soon got her a break in New York at the age of 19, as the featured vocalist of the Boyd Raeburn Orchestra for a few weeks in June 1944. After brief stints in various dance bands including Henry Jerome's Orchestra, she began building her reputation as a singer on the Eastern club circuit, until the early 1950s, when she settled in Chicago, and sang to lounge audiences for the most part of the following two decades. Her only album, “The Too, Too Marvelous Bea”, was recorded in 1957 by Westminster Records.

Search | Add | 3 | Skrotbandet | Swedish music group from Gothenburg within the Swedish prog movement. Skrotbandet originally played avant-garde music with scrap and waste as instruments and appeared in 1975 on the compilation album "Levande improviserad musik". They later switched to playing real instruments and in January 1979 at the club Nefertiti in Gothenburg recorded their first own album "Övervintring" which contains jazz rock, including the song "10 000 volt genom Travolta". Members were then: Stefan Sandberg (guitar, saxophone) Olle Niklasson (saxophone, flute, guitar) Mats Eklöf (saxophone, cornet) Dan Hellström (keyboards) Michael Krönlein (bass) Tomas Olsson (percussion, drums) Niels Nordin (drums) Prior to the second album Afrocarib 80, some new members were recruited, including [a1688569], previously in the Gothenburg song group and the [a2091311], as well as [a1688570] from Text & Musik.

Search | Add | 3 | Heromo Deuce | Heromo Deuce does not define himself as an artist through his real identity but creates it through his music. His debut "Human Machine Love" is therefore the complex result of his passion for music of all kinds. Especially influences of synthpop at the beginning of the 80s as well as drum and bass, big beat and downbeat are unmistakable. Playing piano and classical guitar in his youth encouraged him to write his own songs early on. Right from the start, the focus was always on expressing his own emotions through melodies. After producing several artists and a long creative break, he released his first solo debut, a moving collection of tracks focusing on the current theme of human machine interaction. A new track was created in collaboration with PR8werk. The feeling of being a constant prisoner of time was the inspiration for it.

Search | Add | 3 | The Dorothy Heralds | Eclectic Rock? Progressive Art Rock? Electronica-Induced Power Pop? Attempts to categorize Madison-based The Dorothy Heralds seem intriguing at best. For, if you've seen this ensemble live, you know that the experience is one that defies conventional expectation. The Dorothy Heralds mesh Matt Nelson's quirky, experimental electric guitar parts with Kevin Lozada's keyboard lines that stretch anywhere from ambient and subtle to intensely melodic and driving. Put these parts on top of the pounce-like, athletic bass leanings of Gary Chin, and an intricate instrumental bed unfolds. Vocalist Katy Rykken rounds out the sound with her rich mezzo-soprano voice that flows easily from airy and ethereal to brassy and bold. Each with a diverse array of influences and experiences, members of The Dorothy Heralds come together to create lilting melodies that thread together their unique package of sound.

Search | Add | 3 | كمال مسلم | Kamal Musallam | Born in Kuwait on June 8 1970, from very artistic parents, Kamal showed unique talents for drawing and playing music from the early age of 3. He started learning guitar at the age of 9 but took it more seriously when he was 17. Kamal was educated as architect and has went through various musical experiences throughout his young age and college times; of which were Arabic bands, Flamenco, Rock and Blues bands. Late 80's to early 90's, he started discovering more of Jazz sounds and got to know Pat Metheny, Miles Davis, George Benson, John McLaughlin, Al Di Meola, among many others. In 1994 he moved to France, where he experienced another true musical atmosphere for four years, attending festivals and concerts in both France and Switzerland. He met artists from all over Europe and the world. There he created a more obvious interest for jazz, and developed his playing style. In 1997 he moved back for one year in Lebanon to work as architect; during which he met Ziad Rahbani and started to be a part of his ensemble. There he was convinced his real passion was music and nothing but that, and had to make a serious decision about his career, either to be an architect or a musician, and he chose to explore the musical world. That decision demanded a second trip to France to explore more into the core of the music industry. Kamal’s final return to settle in Jordan, led him to establish his own label K&G and to produce his first album ON A JORDAN RIVER’S SIDE, 2003. It was followed by Out Of MY CITY, 2008, LULU, 2009, SONGS FOR SEUNG-EUN, 2011, THE BEST OF KAMAL MUSALLAM, 2012, HOMEMADE IN ROME, 2014, and WORLD PEACE TRIO, 2017 and HANDMADE IN HUMMUS, 2020. A new collaboration with Billy Cobham, Kai Eckhardt and Gary Husband, among others, is still in production process and falls under the new project entitled "EastMania", expected to be released in 2022. Kamal is settled in Dubai since 2002, active locally and internationally as performer and producer. His main touring bands are Kamal Musallam Trio, Lulu Project, and EastMania. Other collaborations perform occasionally as World Peace Trio, with Gilad Atzmon and Dwiki Dharmawan, and Sea Of Strings, with Dominic Miller (longtime STING's right hand), and Jason Carter. Musallam is currently playing the nylon Silent guitar™ and the newly developed Trans-Acoustic models by YAMAHA, the electric Multi-Oud by GODIN. In 2017, he had developed with IBANEZ his signature guitar models, the electric KMM1 and the nylon fretless KMA1 both released in 2010, and later the high end electric model KMM100 released in 2014, all with a dedicated “quarter tones” playing facility, opening new horizons for guitarists to experiment with additional sounds non existing on standard guitars. Kamal played along with: STING, George Benson, Billy Cobham, Bobby McFerrin, Bob Franceschini, Randy Brecker, Ada Rovatti, Stanely Jordan, Ranjit Barot, Anne Ducros, Dwiki Dharmawan, Andy Suzuki, David Reinhardt, Jorge Pardo (Paco De Lucia Sextet), Francisco Molina, Israel Varela, Volker Schlott, and many others. |

The result is a funky style of minimal and techhouse, but enough said, listen for yourself! |

Search | Add | 3 | Lostronaut | Lostronaut | Lostronaut is a rock and roll power-trio from Ozark, Alabama. We are a three piece original rock band from Ozark Alabama. All of this started as a recording project between Dylan Wells on guitar and Jeff Quattlebaum on bass and drums. These jams led to the first record, “NonVictum”. Dan Enfinger, brought his many skills on board to complete this puzzle in February of 2017. Pulling from our multiple influences ( Led Zeppelin, Janes Addiction, Queens of the Stone Age, Tool. Allman Brothers, Pink Floyd, Rush, Helmet...and so on) to weave a heavy volume -trip-ready rock landscape we released our second record and first as a live band,"Nihilimbo”, We began playing shows all over the south region of the US in support of the record and have made many friends along the way. In February of 2020 we released our third record "Sunland". From our dear friend, Becky Sandoz Carlisle frontwoman and all around badass from Sister Sandoz: From Ozark, Alabama, Lostronaut. This psychedelic "riff band" brings the classic southern rock sound back with modern art. Dylan Wells' celestial guitar melodies form the heart of Lostronaut's unique old-but-new sound ranging from mood-setting ambience to Gilmouresque solos. Dan Enfinger creates a very complementary groove with his drum style that has quiet jazz moments as well as booming rock transitions & bassist/singer Jeff Quattlebaum adds a nice finish to the rhythm section while busting a perfect tenor that's smooth & abrasive at the same time somehow, reminiscent of Perry Ferrell of Jane's Addiction. Their delightfully titled album, Nihilimbo, sways from the light & groovy to the meditative to the furious. Lostronaut will have you spaced out. Band Members: Dylan Wells - Guitars Dan Enfinger- Drums and Percussions Quattlebaum - Bass and Vox Band Interests: We like it loud and soft and sometimes quiet if its a hard kind of quiet. Howling you know when you go for it. But you don't. But then you do. Yeah. Got any money? We won't tell....we are interested in all sorts of things. Check out our videos and stuff to see what it's all about. Say hello if you see us. Phone us. Search | Add | 3 | 110% Pure | Matthew Bradley | Music Career 2004-2007: Early Career and 1st Placements In 1998 a young Pure came to a fork in the road of his life where he had to decide whether to continue down the path of destruction or try to do something positive. Pure took his last $800 and purchased an Ensoniq ASR-X, and started cranking out beat after beat. Over time his skills increased to the point where he finally gained the talent and confidence to shop his tracks to major recording artists. In 2004 Pure met Bump J, a Chicago recording artist signed to Atlantic Records through a mutual friend and producer Boogz. Bump made countless songs to Pure’s beats and featured two of them on his “Chicagorillas/Gangsta Grillz” mixtape hosted by DJ Drama. Pure was on track to have his 1st placements with Bump’s debut album on Atlantic, but the project ended up getting shelved. In 2006 he earned his 1st placement through Disturbing Tha Peace/Def Jam, for their artist "Shawnna." He went on to earn two more placements on that project with the help of "DJ Geno," an employee of "Hustle Period," Studio Coordinator and personal associate of "Shawnna." By now the word got out in the Chicago music scene about 110% Pure. Pure needed representation now that he was ready for the big leagues. So in mid 2006 he inked a deal with multi-platinum management company "Track Kingz." That same year the producer launced his own production company, "Point Blank Productions, Inc." He worked with countless artists in the industry and also appeared on B.E.T's "106 And Park" in February of 2007. 2008-2011: Pitbull and Bad Boy Entertainment Management In 2008 Pure scored another placement on former TVT artist "Pitbull's" album "The Boatlift," entitled "Un Poquito" featuring "Yung Berg." That same year Pure inked a co-management deal with "Bad Boy Entertainment Group's" "Fran Spero," Senior Vice President Producer Management, Music Publishing and Special Projects. In 2010 Pure releases his new album "Pure Raw And Uncut," a compilation of songs featuring collaborations with both major and independent artists including: Shawnna, Brisco, GLC, Buk of Psychodrama and Bo Deal just to name a few. The album also features the smash hit single heard on the airwaves: “Boyshorts” featuring Co-Still. The same year, the record “Un Poquito,” featuring “Pitbull” and “Yung Berg” was featured in the 2010 film “Inhale” directed by “Baltasar Kormákur” starring “Dermot Mulroney”, “Diane Kruger” and “Rosanna Arquette.” 2011 was another good year as Pure produced the unofficial stripper anthem, “Big Booty Judy” featuring former DTP artist Shawnna and former Slip-And-Slide artist Trina. 2012-Present: An emerging Chicago Music Scene Pure took a brief hiatus from the music business to start his clothing line Grimey League, but was inspired by the young producers and artists that emerged in the Chicago music scene in 2012 and decided to get back in the game. Pure is currently working with Chicago artist Tree, who is from the infamous Cabrini Green Housing Projects and the creator of Soul Trap (an infusion of soul samples and trap drum sounds). They are working on an EP called “Trillin” which will be all original music produced entirely by Pure. The 1st single, “Karl Malone” has been well received by Internet blogs, record labels and tastemakers, locally and nationwide. The final project will be available for sale on iTunes the beginning of November 2012. |
