Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | The Reg Coates Experience | The Reg Coates Experience from Manchester, UK, became known after the Reg Coates Combo split in the early 70s for a short period. The combo often contained one or more of Reg's brothers. The new band only contained the best available musicians. Two long standing lead guitarists were Dave Dunne from Wythenshawe and Harry Barber (who sadly died a few years ago) from New Mills. Bass players and drummers came and went regularly due to Reg's high level of ability and low tolerence of alcohol problems but these 2 guys were around for many years. Jason Coates, Reg's son, joined the band for 5 years as a bass player from 86 to 91 and now lives in Portugal. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Werner Fischer's Travelogue | TRAVELOGUE is a jazz group from Switzerland, founded by guitarist Werner Tian Fischer. They primarily interpret Fischer’s original jazz compositions (lyrics by Jan Krohn). The rest of their live repertoire comprises of selected jazz originals by kindred spirits. 'EASTBOUND', their first album, was recorded in Boston in 2003 and released on Elch Musical Industries. For their second recording, lyricist Jan Krohn provided some of the songs with his trademark lyrics. The ensuing recording session materialized in spring 2010 at Hardstudios in Winterthur, featuring outstanding Swedish vocalist Sophie Dunér and bassist Nesin Howhannesijan from Berlin. 'CHINESE SOUL' was released the following year on Altrisuoni Records (AS 292). In autumn 2011, the band (with pianist/vocalist Mya Audrey and bassist Zhang Ling) toured extensively in China and Europe. In 2013, the band performed with British bassist Pete Townsend. The Travelogue composition 'Bon Voyage' provided for the soundtrack of the acclaimed documentary film portrait NO FLASH. Homage to Ricardo Rangel (1924–2009) – a tribute to the work and life of the famous Mozambican photographer – which appeared in 2012 and was shown in Switzerland, Portugal, Mozambique, England, Argentina and Brazil, as well as broadcast on RTP África and on Mozambican TV. The line-up changed again in 2014 to include pianist Roberto Domeniconi and New York-based bassist Fredi Meli (& occasionally Hans Ermel, also on bass). Their third studio album, 'THE LIGHT IS ON', was recorded together with vocalist Coco Rouzier (USA) in autumn 2015 at Gabriel Recording in Stalden and released on the PBR Jazz label (PBR J300) the following spring. 'FORECLOSURE', a live recording from October 2016, was released in early 2018. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Phillipo Chimbini | Philipo Chimbini (1944-2018) was a Zambian singer and songwriter active during the 1980's into the 2000's. Known for his Kalindula style music that tackled social issues and advocated for rural areas, he was one of the few Kalindula artists whose career survived the collapse of the Zambian music industry in the early 1990's. Chimbini's career began in the late 1970's or early 1980's when he was scouted by [l447513] in Zambia's Copperbelt. According to music historian Leonard Koloko, Chimbini claimed that he was inspired to perform music due to a dream that directed him to address the wrongs he saw in his community by singing about them. He was a devout Catholic who created both secular and religious music throughout his career. Chimbini released four albums between 1986 and 1995. His albums were produced with the help of a backing group of young musicians known as "The Chimbini Boys." When Teal Record Company failed in the early 90's, his career temporarily ended, but he saw it revived with the release of his album, Italanta in 2005. The album was successful, with a music video produced to support it. He released a follow up album in 2007. Philipo Chimbini passed away on April 13, 2018 after suffering a stoke at his home in Kitwe. | |

Approved by this institute whose reputation is widespread throughout the world, the young tenor studied singing technique for three years with Professor Scolari and laid the foundations of his repertoire. | Search | Add | 3 | The East Texas String Ensemble | The East Texas String Ensemble (pronounced "In-SIM-bel") formed in 1968 in the college town of Nacogdoches, TX, and consisted of 4 college professors who loved traditional country music: Francis "Ab" Abernethy (bass fiddle and vocals), Stan Alexander (guitar and vocals), Charles Gardner (fiddle, mandolin, and vocals), and Tom Nall, (banjo and vocals). The ETSE played county fairs, weddings, U.S. State Department cultural programs and - beginning in 1972, they represented Texas hillbilly music at the annual Texas Folklife Festival in San Antonio. In approximately 1983, Charles Gardner left the group and was replaced by local high school teacher and fiddler Ronnie Wolf. The original members of the band are all deceased but leave a legacy of having communicated the joy and excitement of traditional rural country music to new generations. | |
