Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Shattered Reality | Shattered Reality was a metal band in Louisville, KY from 1991-1997. Originally known as Rude Awakening, the lineup consisted of Bill Polk on drums, Mark Huckleberry on guitar, Steve Sawyers on vocals, and Mike Spink on bass. They released two eps; "Rude Awakening" in May 1991, and "Meet Your Maker" in December 1991. Following the departure of guitarist Mark Huckleberry in 1992, the band recruited guitarist Tim Flaherty and changed the band name to Shattered Reality. A self-titled ep was released in December 1993, followed by the full-length "Forget to Remember" in September 1994, and the ep "Into The Blind" in August 1996. Between 1993 and 1996 the band had several different bass players, including Mike Spink, Phil Hebert, Al Chadwell and Paul Kelly. They also added 2nd guitarist JR Perry not long after the release of the "Forget To Remember" album. Before disbanding in 1997, Shattered Reality played many legendary Louisville venues such as The Toy Tiger, Tewligans, Phoenix Hill Tavern, Uncle Pleasants, The Zodiac Club, The KY Center for the Arts, and shared the stage with bands such as Overkill, Souls at Zero, My Own Victim, and Days of the New, among many others. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | 110% Pure | Matthew Bradley | Music Career 2004-2007: Early Career and 1st Placements In 1998 a young Pure came to a fork in the road of his life where he had to decide whether to continue down the path of destruction or try to do something positive. Pure took his last $800 and purchased an Ensoniq ASR-X, and started cranking out beat after beat. Over time his skills increased to the point where he finally gained the talent and confidence to shop his tracks to major recording artists. In 2004 Pure met Bump J, a Chicago recording artist signed to Atlantic Records through a mutual friend and producer Boogz. Bump made countless songs to Pure’s beats and featured two of them on his “Chicagorillas/Gangsta Grillz” mixtape hosted by DJ Drama. Pure was on track to have his 1st placements with Bump’s debut album on Atlantic, but the project ended up getting shelved. In 2006 he earned his 1st placement through Disturbing Tha Peace/Def Jam, for their artist "Shawnna." He went on to earn two more placements on that project with the help of "DJ Geno," an employee of "Hustle Period," Studio Coordinator and personal associate of "Shawnna." By now the word got out in the Chicago music scene about 110% Pure. Pure needed representation now that he was ready for the big leagues. So in mid 2006 he inked a deal with multi-platinum management company "Track Kingz." That same year the producer launced his own production company, "Point Blank Productions, Inc." He worked with countless artists in the industry and also appeared on B.E.T's "106 And Park" in February of 2007. 2008-2011: Pitbull and Bad Boy Entertainment Management In 2008 Pure scored another placement on former TVT artist "Pitbull's" album "The Boatlift," entitled "Un Poquito" featuring "Yung Berg." That same year Pure inked a co-management deal with "Bad Boy Entertainment Group's" "Fran Spero," Senior Vice President Producer Management, Music Publishing and Special Projects. In 2010 Pure releases his new album "Pure Raw And Uncut," a compilation of songs featuring collaborations with both major and independent artists including: Shawnna, Brisco, GLC, Buk of Psychodrama and Bo Deal just to name a few. The album also features the smash hit single heard on the airwaves: “Boyshorts” featuring Co-Still. The same year, the record “Un Poquito,” featuring “Pitbull” and “Yung Berg” was featured in the 2010 film “Inhale” directed by “Baltasar Kormákur” starring “Dermot Mulroney”, “Diane Kruger” and “Rosanna Arquette.” 2011 was another good year as Pure produced the unofficial stripper anthem, “Big Booty Judy” featuring former DTP artist Shawnna and former Slip-And-Slide artist Trina. 2012-Present: An emerging Chicago Music Scene Pure took a brief hiatus from the music business to start his clothing line Grimey League, but was inspired by the young producers and artists that emerged in the Chicago music scene in 2012 and decided to get back in the game. Pure is currently working with Chicago artist Tree, who is from the infamous Cabrini Green Housing Projects and the creator of Soul Trap (an infusion of soul samples and trap drum sounds). They are working on an EP called “Trillin” which will be all original music produced entirely by Pure. The 1st single, “Karl Malone” has been well received by Internet blogs, record labels and tastemakers, locally and nationwide. The final project will be available for sale on iTunes the beginning of November 2012. |

Often seen performing around the Santa Maria Novella station and Piazza dei Ciompi, the pair have been joined by guest musicians at various times. They have also performed in other Italian cities and internationally. As a prominent example of the growing street art scene in Florence for more than ten years, Foneno has been a longtime advocate for more flexible street performance regulations in the city, which they argue would allow for a greater diversity of street musicians in the city. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Dr. Peter von Zahn | Peter von Zahn (Jan 29., 1913 Chemnitz - Juli 29., 2001 Hamburg, Germany) started his career as a journalist at Radio Hamburg on July 15, 1945. Educated, eloquent and with a distinctive style of speaking, Zahn soon became a fixture at the station of the Allied military government, which continued to exist from September 30, 1945 as NWDR (Nordwestdeutscher Rundfunk) and was converted into an independent broadcaster from January 1, 1948. When the NWDR was split into NDR and WDR in 1956, from then on, Zahn stood for continuity and quality at the northern German broadcaster. In 1951 he took the plunge across the pond and became a pioneer in foreign reporting in the United States. His 15-minute radio show "From the New World" explains the German society and politics of the occupying power. From 1955 onwards, the same format led to success on television. Von Zahn left NDR in 1961 and founded his own production company, Windrose Film- und Fernsehproduktions-GmbH. His reports were shown in WDR, among others, which developed the "Weltspiegel" („mirror of the world“) series from the format. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Plain Hot Shots | From Plain, Wisconsin, in the Driftless Area. In 1948, Harlan Fingerhut and Joe Wankerl started playing with the Badger Valley Boys, a band that played for WWCF radio station out of Baraboo. Being of an innovative nature, these two musicians decided to form their own local band and soon, with several friends, they were beating out polkas, waltzes, and country western tunes. Harlan Fingerhut played the drums, Joe Wankerl the tuba, Kenneth Rieder the accordion, LeRoy Walters the trumpet, Dick Strait, vocals, guitar, or banjo, and Hank Dederick trumpet, tuba, or base guitar; a formidable group! Their most requested song, "E-I-O Polka," was recorded in 1967 and crossed the ocean to Bavaria. In 1971 (recorded in 1970), this outgoing group cut their first album, "Saturday Night with the Plain Hot Shots," at the Sauk City recording studio. The popularity of their infectious rhythm won wide recognition and soon they were taking in larger areas, traveling to La Crosse, Madison, and Waunakee. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Pottyshots | The Pottyshots were teenagers who played surfy instrumental rock with punk and noise rock elements in the late nineties. They were primarily based in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area with some deviation from this due to school. The trio consisted of John-Paul Young on bass, Dave Andrae on guitar, and Corey Baumann on drums. They attended the same high school but in different grades. During The Pottyshots’ existence, which stretched from the late spring of 1998 to the early autumn of 1999, they played twenty-seven shows and released a full-length CD and a four-song 7” on Beeshu Records. For better or worse, these recordings were captured live, to four-track, with no overdubbing or added atmospherics. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Smells From Hell | The Smells From Hell were a Barrow-in-Furness–based alternative band active during the late 1980s. They were part of the town’s emerging original music scene, which centred around venues such as the Bluebird Club and a network of local gigs supporting independent bands. Guitarist Gary Cook, a prominent figure in the Barrow scene, was a member of the group, with Phil Pearson also associated with the band during its lifetime. Like many local acts of the period, the band operated within a fluid musician network, with members moving between multiple projects. The Smells From Hell recorded material in Manchester and released music on Frottage Records, alongside appearances on cassette compilations. Their activity reflects the structure of late-1980s UK regional underground music scenes, where bands documented their work through small labels and local recording opportunities. | |
