Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 8 | The Bisquits | The Biquits is a bulgarian dance band founded in 1995 by Sasho T., Sasho S. and Tisho. The original idea was about a remixers' team but soon it turned into an original project with the first single release "Ghaidi (Welcome To Bulgaria)". Its an original dance track featuring the sound of an authentical bulgarian music instrument big pipe. The result was unbelievable and the track became a summer hit in Bulgaria during 1996. The bulgarian national soccer team chose it as its official hymn for the Euro Games '96, the dutch company ToCo International signed it for distribution and the single was released in different compilations for 36 contries. The single was presented on popular radio shows for BBC and Billboard. The bulgarian traditional folklore voices and instruments like ghaida (big pipe), kaval and tambura, mixed with dance music, became a trade mark of the band and the following singles "Goro", "Horo", "Kaval", were sticked to this style. In 1998 the band changed a bit its members and turned the name into The Bisquits Project. With the new female dancer and singer Biliana (Bi) they started producing new singles like "The Return" following the current dream dance style at the end of the 90s. They had a lot of live and tv performances, also the singles got many airplays in radio and tv shows. After the release of their album "The Return" in 1998, the band took a pause and the lead producers started solo carrers releasing some singles under the alias Alex and Dj T60. In 2014, one of the main producers - Dj Tisho, decided to relive the project and make a comeback, changing its name again to The New Bisquits Project. He remixed the old 90's singles into a new updated versions and recorded some brand new songs like "Bela Beka", "White Rose" and "Pilence Pee", in the same formula of traditional bulgarian folk melodies mixed with house music. All new songs, mixes and original singles were released in the new album entitled "DG / BG" ("Digital / Bulgarian"). "Bela Beka" was chosen for the first single of the album, featuring the folklore singer Nikoleta. In 2016, the new project signed a contract with the german dance label Dmn Records for international releases and produced the maxi singles "Bela Beka" and "Mari Mariiko". | |

| Search | Add | 8 | John William Burrows | John William Burrows was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He loved the piano and took to playing before he was school-age, around the age of four. His mother was a pianist and recognized the talent of her young son, nurturing that talent all the way through John's high school years. John Burrows served his country during the Korean conflict. He was not shipped to Korea but instead was sent to post World War Two Germany where he served as a chaplain's assistant. While serving, he had the opportunity to apply his musical skills, and began to explore the keyboard. Returning stateside, he was accepted at the Crane School of Music at Potsdam, New York. As an applied piano student of James Ball, John received the coveted Senior Recital Award with graduation. A career of teaching music in public schools in the state of New York was followed by a period of self exploration and travel abroad and across the United States and Canada. A romantic man, John Burrows loved the music of the great European composers of the 19th century Romantic period. One of his favorite journeys was tracing the life of Chopin. John prided himself on his athletic ability and well as his dedication to his beloved instrument. His daily routine included long distance running, tennis, golf, ice hockey, hiking or skiing. This was always preceded by two hours of practice that included his favorite Russian exercises and running scales and arpeggios up and down the keyboard. Afternoons and evenings, Mr. Burrows was back at the piano, either performing or working out his pieces. Mr. Burrows passed away in November of 2012. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | Jon Alkalay | Growing up in Brazil and later moving to Austin, TX, exposed me to so many different influences.... but it all started at home, my dad was a classical music aficionado and wonderful baritone and my mom, who immigrated from Portugal, continues singing Fados beautifully. Besides these huge influences, I grew up listening to different Latin, American and European pop, rock and EDM, which is all reflected in the music I make. But my main inspiration are the 80s synthpop bands such as Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Duran Duran... I moved to the US in 2000 in the midst of the music industry collapsing due to all piracy and internet, which ended up forcing me to take a new direction in life. After many years in the corporate world, I decided it was time to let my music come out and live my dream. By the way, that is what my first single is about, Putting Myself First! | |

| Search | Add | 8 | Samet Özgür | Now 28 years old DJ/Producer Samet Özgür, was born in Edremit/Balıkesir in 1987. His interest in music started during his early childhood. He got involved playing the bass guitar and producing some demos with friends in 2003. Upon discovering electronic music in 2005, he became a producer of electronic industrial music in 2006. He released two albums for his project SADIZTIK:INJEKTION with the Hungarian company Advoxya Records. The tracks were incorporated in many collective albums. SADIZTIK:INJEKTION is the first harsh electro-industrial project in Turkey. He received support and praise from many big bands/projects within the industrial genre for his project. He still continues to work on the project, yet it’s not his current priority. He fell in love with House music in 2012 and began to work as a DJ with his own name. Contrary to many DJ’s, he did not switch from being a DJ to being a producer, but vice versa. In 2013 he and Ozan Ülke from the band Neopol founded their electronic music production studio Deep White Records in Istanbul. In 2015 he founded his own record label Subluminate Records. Samet Özgür predominantly uses progressive big-room electro house tracks in his sets, but also incorporates complextro, progressive house and sometimes progressive trance. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | Contravia | In the late 80's and early 90's the Ecuadorian band Contravía helped with the transformation of national music and helped the medium take a new direction. Once the scenarios for bands like Contravía were opened, there was no turning back. With the change of music joined a new generation prepared and ready to be part of something fresh and new. Contravía had influences of the Jazz and the Blues. They fused several elements of these genres to create a live and powerful pop-rock style. Thanks to the musical level of Francisco 'Pancho' Terán, Felipe Terán, and Jay Byron we saw a wave of new sensations and experiences that until today we can enjoy. With the release of songs like 'Tapando el Sol con Un Dedo', 'Por Qué No Ves Si Llueve en Tel Aviv?', 'Lola', and 'Gafas con Caras' the band sets the musical history in Ecuador. In 1992 Contravía released 'Sólido' his first record album and in 1994 his second album 'Luz de Fuga' - with these records many lived an important time in the musical and cultural history of Ecuador. Music that inspired and gave way to other great bands and musicians to be part of the national scene. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | Tekscape | Michael McCrum, Aidan Fusco | Michael McCrum and Aidan Fusco aka "Tekscape" first met at their local record store in Northern Ireland during the mid nineties. Instantly both guys realised that they shared the same passion for electronic music, in particular the rave scene of that time, encompassing all genres from house through to hardcore and everything in-between. The live recordings from local events such as Hellraiser & Vengeance, which were held in the now infamous Ulster Hall in Belfast during the early to mid-nineties exposed both guys to a diverse range of sounds. International DJ's such as Carl Cox, Lenny Dee and Pablo Gargano who were playing alongside local legends such as DJ Binman and Judge Dredd were delivering the most upfront trance, techno, hardcore, jungle & drum n bass releases of that time. The guys credit their diversity as both DJ's and Producers to their exposure to such a wide range of styles within electronic music from a very early age. The "Tekscape" project was born during 2019, with a series of releases to-date under labels such as Gabberhead, Mokum and D-Force Techno. Individually, with 20 years of experience behind them across many aspects of the rave scene including DJ'ing, Event Promotion and even working in local record stores, the guys intend to take the "Tekscape" project as far as it can possibly go. |

| Search | Add | 8 | Axlubi-X | Axlubi-X is a opened crew and music band originally from A Coruña (nordwest Spain), from the borough of Agra del Orzán. They met up firstly back to 2009, in improvised music jams in a social center of the barrio. every day, along two months, they met evenings together with other musicians and artists to djing and rapping. After that, Saco and Papis Diao made official band Axlubi-X and very soon they gave their first shows. Axlubi-X stands for a opened and spontan community. Axlubi its a word in Dakar which refers a place in the streets of this city where people come and go, often before don't know each one, play something and have smalltalks. "X" means anonymous, nobody is relevant in the band. There are official members, but no one is fixed. "X" it's also in the name because is the letter which always begins the ID card of immigrants in Spain. It's such a mark with the spanish state classifies people in groups for his use and values. Since 2011 they record professionally their tracks with their own mediums and knowledge, in different places which build up together "Axlubi Studios". In 2012, Niggaché and Omar Master joined the crew officially, not as newcomers, actually as a comeback because they were also in the origins of the band, they participated too. Axlubi-X existence it's quiet complex, because each member comes of a different country in the world, they just came together on a point, but they are constantly on the road because life experiences. And they are also in different lifetimes, different ages, that's makes the teamwork also special. But this all mixes up a band with different faces, styles and tastes where each life experience has a strong effect in the band. It's Axlubi-X. Nobody seems to be relevant, the crew it's what you see, but you can't understand them without to watch out to the members under this name. As the society, people it's treated as zero many times, forgotten in an anonymous life where nobody cares about the other, but there is a chance to work together, make something special for you and then bring something out to be free, to be one and to be yourself. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | Nitewreckage | CELINE HISPICHE (vocals) mixes bawdy music hall and ballsy punk rock in one explosive package. Born in Paris and raised on her parents’ record collections – an unlikely blend of punk rock and music hall - she began her career as a featured writer at London’s Royal Court Theatre, creating a unique act that combined music, history and comic monologues. She has also performed on Broadway and toured with cast members of Saturday Night Live. One of her oddest and most enjoyable assignments was to perform for the artist Louise Bourgeois at her New York salon. Back home in London, she has opened for Harry Hill and Marc Almond, performed at the Royal Festival Hall, and won rave reviews for her 2007 cabaret show at the Edinburgh Festival. DAVE BALL (programming) needs little introduction. He formed Soft Cell with Marc Almond in 1979, while they were studying art together at college in Leeds. Together they wrote and performed countless Eighties hits, starting with 1981 UK chart-topper Tainted Love. In the Nineties he notched up another run of hits as half of a second duo, The Grid, with Richard Norris. Dave has also produced and collaborated with artistes as diverse as Kylie Minogue, The Virgin Prunes, Earl Brutus and Billie Ray Martin, and remixed many more, including David Bowie, The Happy Mondays, Erasure, Depeche Mode, Boy George and The Pet Shop Boys. In addition, he has performed live with artistes such as Cabaret Voltaire, Psychic TV and krautrock pioneers Faust. RICK MULHALL (programming) started in the music industry in 1979 – the same year as Dave Ball – in the band English Evenings, before turning solo under the wing of Pete Waterman and his PWL team. In 1987 he formed Kick Production with Terry Neale, writing and producing for an array of artistes, ranging from Rolf Harris to Jeff Beck. He performed with the band Ultrasonic before forming his own label Dufflecoat Records. Rick began collaborating with Dave Ball on remixes two years ago under the Nitewreckers banner. He is currently working on a variety of music projects for the BBC and writing and producing for the Skull Bandits, as well as running the Richmond recording studios of Kick Production, where Celine & Nite Wreckage record. TERRY NEALE (drums) studied clarinet at the Welsh College of Music and Drama and performed with the National Youth Orchestra of Wales, before studying composition and arranging at Leeds College of Music. Drums and percussion then became his main instrument as he began writing, recording and working as a session musician. After forming Kick Production with Rick Mulhall, Terry began a 20-year career composing music for film and television at their Soho studios. He has played live with Transglobal Underground and Temple of Sound, and currently combines writing for Lovelabltd.com, touring with the band Loungeclash and playing with Celine And Nite Wreckage. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | Chaos Maths | Chaos Maths formed in 2001 as a combination of each members individual pursuits in this culture we call Hip Hop. Jodes was DJing around town, Dave was putting down that raw lyrical material, and Bang was writing, producing and programming the only weekly Hip Hop radio show west of the Blue Mountains (2MCE-FM, Bathurst). What was blindingly obvious to others eventually dawned on the crew, and collectively they said: ‘Let’s start a band!’ Since then Chaos Maths have performed alongside Katalyst, 1200 Techniques, sonicanimation, TZU, Bliss n’ Eso, Urthboy, Ozi Batla, Celcius, Upshot, Morganics, 2-Up, Sleeping Monk and on and on and on. Their first self-titled release received generous support in the form of airplay from community radio stations nationwide, and their debut film clip for the song ‘Therapy Session’ has been aired on Rage, the greatest music video show in the world. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | Sarah Franklyn | A singer and songwriter from Ireland. Sarah Franklyn was born in Kenya, Africa, and raised in Ireland. At six years old she began her performing career with her parents touring around Ireland in a converted Wells Fargo ambulance stage-managing and performing Shakespeare, Shaw and Chekov in the rural villages throughout Ireland. She grew up in Dublin, pursuing music and theatre interests from an early age where she attended the Royal Irish Academy of Music, Dublin, and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London. She put herself through college by busking and playing wine bars, folk clubs, rock clubs and festivals and session singing for recording studios. While singing in London, she landed a touring job with Jethro Tull and went on to work with many eclectic acts, including Sally Oldfield, Art of Noise and Roxy Music. Sarah's original songwriting reflects both the rich cultural heritage of her native lands, Africa, Ireland and the world music melting pot of the San Francisco Bay Area, where she resides part time. Sarah has been a regular performer on the US and European festival music circuit and as a result, has attracted a strong and loyal following for the fiery mix of traditional, jazzy, rock, folk music her songs portray. Her heartfelt vocals and magical music have begun to influence a large number of soulful musicians and spirited listeners all over the world. Gracious, earthy and talented, Sarah Franklyn has something very unique. She posesses an extraordinary voice. Instantly recognisable, this dynamic musician recalls the singing of Mary Chapin Carpenter, June Tabor and Joni Mitchell. Audiences recognize Sarah as a performer with the unique ability to cross genres and defy categorization. Her songs and music are original; the sound is acoustic-rock, blending progressive, jazz and Celtic influences. Most recently in the United States, she has toured with Shane MacGowan & the Popes, opened for Solas at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, performed with renowned Irish troubadour John Hoban at the Freight & Salvage and opened for Gaelic Storm (the band from the film "Titanic") at Slim's. | |
