Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 8 | Sanken Rei | Sanken Rei | Indie / Electro Pop Proyect from Lima, Peru (2019-Present) Project by [a=Mariana Tschudi] and [a=Santiago Pillado-Matheu]. The name of the band means in ancient shipibo language someone who is connected with his/her heart and to the heart of the universe, and from that connection s/he is transmitting. With its songs it transmits movement and allows us to travel to inner worlds. That which is transmitting reaches people and transforms them. This concept carries great responsibility and is our highest aspiration. That is why this project is based on ancestral knowledge of Peru as a source of knowledge that connects us with the origin. And that origin is symbol of integration. |

Search | Add | 8 | Dr. Cascadura | Cascadura | Cascadura, anteriormente chamada "Dr. |

Search | Add | 8 | Troi Alvarado | Troi Ernesto Alvarado Chávez | My goal is to offer something new, not forgetting the main objective is to make art. I think that many of us who formed successful bands from the 90's forgot that certain detail in a certain way; So the members showed more interest in the profitability or commercial than to see the union of their groups. That was the reason why there were so many dissolved groups. In short, one learns from his mistakes, what is important, and learns to put priorities in his life and I know my own: God, my family, my career, my presidency in Sayce and my students at the University. |

Search | Add | 8 | Glenn A. Payne | Founder of [l175905]. Co-founder of [l468257]. For copyrights and licenses: [l1659897] and [l1659896]. Glenn started his career in the summer of 1978 working for GTO Records, where his duties included regional radio promotion and liaising with BBC Radio 2. GTO's artist roster included Billy Ocean / Heatwave / Dana / New Musik, Giorgio Moroder, Donna Summer, and The Dooleys. In the early 80's Glenn started his own independent promotion company working with Klub Records / Monarch Records and Strike Records - dealing with London and Regional Radio/TV. Artists included The Clydesiders, Rikki, and The Tigers. The company then expanded into a record label sigining a distribuition deal with Pinnacle Records - artists included Officers & Gentlemen, and all girl trio Brazil all enjoying turntable success and healthy record sales. In 1986 Glenn was asked to become A&R Director of dance label G&M Records and enjoyed chart success with The Village People / Fatback Band / Nini, and The Hard Hats. Glenn left G&M to start a career with Fanfare Records in the early 90's, when asked by Simon Cowell to start up an international department. Chart hits soon followed with Sinitta / Yell! / Kelly Marie and Mystic. Following Simon's move to Arista/BMG Glenn continued to work within the international arena securing licensing deals for heavy US rock giants Quiet Riot - striking deals for the album 'Terrified' in Scandinavia, Spain and Brasil. While also working with soul groovers The Cool Notes, their classic soul hits 'Spend the Night' and 'In Your Car' were remixed and licensed throughout Europe where they enjoyed chart success. Glenn also secured licensing deals for Kagagoogoo star Limahl in Germany / Austria / Switzerland / Spain and the Benelux. Success with Mystic included a No.1 hit in Spain with 'Ritmo de la Noche' enjoying a staggering 69 weeks in the top 30. After the huge success of 'Ritmo' the following years saw Mystic release the hit singles 'Yo Te Quieo', 'Everybody Salsa', 'La Ola', along with the albums 'Ritmo de la Noche' and 'La Ola' that kept Mystic at the forefront of the Spanish Latino House dance scene. Mystic recorded and released 'Spirit of Ibiza' - the song captured the essence of the hot summer days, along with the passion of the even hotter summer nights with the track reaching No.3 in the Spanish Charts, and top 10 of the Portuguese Charts. With the success of 'Spirit of Ibiza' Mystic recorded 'Viva El Verano' as the follow-up which continued their chart success reaching No.1 in Brasil. It was during this time that Glenn started working with Alberto and the hugely successful Matiz Music production team in Hamburg and they enjoyed international chart success with their projects including The Allniters 'The Story of My Life' - which hit the charts in France, Spain, and Greece. Also 'The Master' by The Master reached No.1 in Italy. It was during this period that Alberto first had the idea for Freud and together Alberto & Glenn went on to license Freud's brilliant debut album 'Time Passengers' all over the World including the US, UK, Germany, Benelux, Portugal and South East Asia. Then in 2002 Glenn was asked to join leading newage label New World Music, developing their Promotion and PR departments, as well as being a key member of their A&R team. After 4 and a half years with New World Music - Glenn and old friend Alberto [a455126] decided to develop [l468257] - and today Tantajo is one of the most respected chlllout labels around, with their artists Freud and Terra del Sol being at the sharp end of their genres. While Glenn also continues to establish [l175905] as a proactive and well respected label. | |

Search | Add | 8 | Shane Stephenson | Shane Stephenson | Shane Stephenson is a music producer, songwriter, and audio engineer. Based out of the Vancouver area in British Columbia, Shane grew up playing within a musical environment that allowed for heavy collaboration and an atmosphere of camaraderie. Having begun on piano at the age of eight, he developed a love for keyboards and synthesizers and an eclectic array of genres. This broad sensibility and leaning towards electronic production has led him to both creating original art as well as producing and finalizing the work of other artists. With a love of both performing and producing, he has been building his own repertoire while helping others to grow their work as well. For Shane music allows a means of escape, meditation, and contemplation, and through his work he hopes to allow others the same safe space for growth. He is working on growing his ever-expanding catalogue and creating an immersive musical experience that will go beyond the traditional confines of a stage show in order to allow for a more genuine connection with his audience. A multifaceted musician, he has performed and collaborated with a dozen local acts, most notably Vancouver’s own indie-rock band Derrival. A co-founder of the band, Shane has joined them in becoming finalist of the 2014 Peak Performance Project and winners of the inaugural 2015 Allain Slaight Juno Master Class, all while having the secrets of the music business demystified by top tier industry professionals. He also produced their debut self-titled record, which reached over a million streams across Spotify and Youtube with singles “Ice Cream” and “Ghosts of Our Past”. Their songs have also been featured on tv shows All American and Degrassi, as well as several commercials across North America. In 2020, Shane teamed up with breakthrough artist Xana to help her finish her first set of singles. Her first single “Goddess,” produced by Shane, has reached 4 million streams on spotify in just over a year. Shane is also devoted student of the sonic world: He has studied keyboards, bass, and voice during his adolescent life; graduated from the Harbourside Institute of Technology’s audio engineering and music production program in 2014; and was mentored by Ryan Worsley during his time at Echoplant Sound in 2016, assisting on renowned Canadian musicians’ albums (Dear Rouge, K-OS), developing the tools of the trade. As a mix engineer and producer he works to hone in on the balance of a fresh but commercially strong sound when working with artists. He is also well known for his work with the international organization Sofar Sounds producing live, on location, performance style music videos to their 600,000 subscriber fanbase on youtube. |

Search | Add | 8 | Les Bof! | After years as a musical enemy number one of the town council of Marseilles, Laurent Mombel estimated that his talents were ignored and wrongfully punished. In exile in the United Kingdom, Laurent, put himself about to find the musicians of Garage that were most endowed within their neighbourhoods - unfortunately they all were occupied and thus decided to make do with a few old tearaways met in the wild regions of Scotland - Thus Les BOF! were formed and after that, a series of concerts left them in the not very enviable situation of premier garage rockers of French language in Great Britain. ‘BOF!’ literally translates as ..don’t care!' or ..not interested!' but do not see there a group for which one would not have to be interested, but rather a group universally rejected by the established order - a situation, we are sure, you all know too well and with which you can only sympathize. Les BOF! play regularly not only in the dull cellars and dusty cafes of Edinburgh and its neighbourhoods but also abroad - try to see them whether they come in your city - or better, invite them to play in your own living room - it will not cost you the eyes teeth – Vive Les BOF! She started her career almost by chance, when Arlette Zola met her in the audience during one of her concerts in Valais, and after hearing how well she sang from the audience, she asked her to join the band as a backing vocal. Josiane met the orquestra under the musical direction of the composer Alain Morisod, and just months after that, she signs contract with Disques L'Arpège. She released a total of 7 45rpm singles (3 EP) during 1969 to 1971. In 1972 she travels to England but returns to Valais years after without making the contacts she needed to launch her career from London. Thanks to his efforts he performed at events like Mácháč, Sensation White, Aquaphonic, Wonderland.
