Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 8 | Borislav Vakinov | Borislav Vakinov | Borislav Vakinov (also known as "Witness True Sorcery" on the internet) is an artist, writer, blogger and a gamer based in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. A long-time reader of horror fiction, mysteries and existential philosophy. He is an independent researcher of the Occult, Western Magic and Esotericism, and he currently runs three musical projects in different genres. Borislav started out as a freelance graphic designer back in 2008/2009, where he mostly created album covers, posters, banners and logos for personal projects, as well as for various websites, clients and bands. Most of his late work draws inspiration heavily from fantasy, mythology, video games and design, objectivism, occultism and magick. He became very interested in the fields of the more fringe-end and weird side of life since his early childhood, while watching The X-Files and reading Stephen King's novels. Years later he became known on the internet with his DeviantArt page and YouTube channel. All of the artistic work he did in recent years led him into branching out into new territories and develop the necessary skills in order to grow as an artist and as a writer. He also has a rather varied taste for Art and he's heavily addicted to black and white movies, BioShock, RPGs, Jazz, Bluegrass and Country Music. These days, Borislav mostly writes books and works as a graphic designer for a living, but sometimes he also works on music and various art-related projects. In his spare time, he often goes for long hikes in the local forests and mountainous regions of his native home. |

Search | Add | 8 | Symphony of Dreams | The Symphony of Dreams moniker is a virtual supergroup (initially invite only) that initially aimed to hit the core themes of many different projects under the Caretaker moniker, while reframing them with the themes of the 50s through seventies, decades seldom explored by projects outside of The Caretakers. It has since shifted to reimagining the musical depiction of dementia in its final project via months of painstaking research and personal experience. Formed in March 2022 by [a11551316], the group is currently producing its final project, Images of Beauty Never Seen. The project aims to portray Alzheimer's and the mental conditions associated with it as accurately as possible by ditching stages and years for clusters of symptoms and the conditions associated with them. By exploring thoughts as well as memories, the aim is to create a project where you are not just watching your memories decay - you are living through it as well. Concepts from many other projects - and aspects of the disease hitherto unexplored in the community - will be re-contextualized under the lens of emotion and realism, exploring the idea that even as memories fade away and independence shrinks, beauty, meaning, and comfort can still be found in unexpected places. "Happiness? That's nothing more than good health and poor memory." -Albert Schweitzer.

Search | Add | 8 | EaViL | EaViL was a duo consisting of Edgar (vocals, lyrics and abstract noises) and Nick (music composition, projections, and visuals). Paradox was a prominent variable, evident in the use of noise and melody, “dark” and “light” themes and conflicting moods. They participated in the Version 06 & 07, Select Media 05 and Artec Festivals. They performed on Chic-A-Go-Go and venues throughout Chicago including: Nihilist, Peter Jones Gallery, Empty Bottle, Enemy and Heaven Gallery. EaViL self released four EPS: Le Miroir, Phantasmic Seam, Ardilla Arias and Black Queen's Beads under their NERV imprint.

Search | Add | 8 | Master Ibrahim | Master Ibrahim (1915-1980) | Master Ibrahim (1915-1980) started learning the clarinet at the age of 11. A prolific musician, Ibrahim (often also spelt as Ebrahim), seems to have been equally at home as a Hindustani classical musician (he recorded both for AIR and HMV) and as a film musician. Unlike many of his contemporaries in the film orchestras, his name was well-known amongst the general public because HMV also released many records of his instrumental versions of popular film songs. Searching on the Internet, I came across an extract from a dissertation paper by a New York-based clarinetist Shanti Raval titled 'The Adaptation of the Clarinet to Hindustani Music: The Playing Style of Master Ebrahim'. In her paper, Raval claims that Master Ebrahim 'remains to this day, the only Indian clarinetist to play on the Boehm system.' The Boehm clarinet, Raval explains, is used by 'the majority of Western classical musicians.... Master Ebrahim, however, was able to convey many of the inflections of Hindustani music on a Boehm clarinet.' Another admirer of Master Ibrahim was the young Ruskin Bond: "I was also fond of the clarinet (turj) playing of an Indian musician, Master Ibrahim, and I had some of his recordings which transported me back to the streets and bazaars of small-town India. Light, lilting and tuneful, I preferred this sort of flute music to the warblings of the more popular songsters." |

Search | Add | 8 | Lloyd Francis | Saxon Sound System was started in 1976 in Lewisham, South East london by Dennis Rowe, Lloyd Saxon aka Muscle Head. Originally called Imperial Rockers they changed the name to Saxon in 1978. By the early 80's due in no small part to their highly talented MC's and singers such as Tippa Irie, Smiley Culture, Peter King, Papa Levi, Maxi Priest, Daddy Colonel and Sandy they were the most popular Sound System in the UK. The selectors on the sound were Muscle Head, Trevor Sax, Mini Muscle, Henry Prento and Micky Boops. In 1984 the soundsystem started the UK Bubblers label in co-operation with Greensleeves and released over 30 12" singles and two albums over the next four years. In 1993 they formed their own Saxon label and released over 70 12" singles. With the decline in the popularity of live MC's on a sound in the early 90's Saxon stepped back from the limelight and to a certain extent have struggled to maintain their position in the top echelon of Sound Systems since this time. However they continue to operate and have a regular spot at the Notting Hill Carnival each August.

Search | Add | 8 | Tekscape | Michael McCrum, Aidan Fusco | Michael McCrum and Aidan Fusco aka "Tekscape" first met at their local record store in Northern Ireland during the mid nineties. Instantly both guys realised that they shared the same passion for electronic music, in particular the rave scene of that time, encompassing all genres from house through to hardcore and everything in-between. The live recordings from local events such as Hellraiser & Vengeance, which were held in the now infamous Ulster Hall in Belfast during the early to mid-nineties exposed both guys to a diverse range of sounds. International DJ's such as Carl Cox, Lenny Dee and Pablo Gargano who were playing alongside local legends such as DJ Binman and Judge Dredd were delivering the most upfront trance, techno, hardcore, jungle & drum n bass releases of that time. The guys credit their diversity as both DJ's and Producers to their exposure to such a wide range of styles within electronic music from a very early age. The "Tekscape" project was born during 2019, with a series of releases to-date under labels such as Gabberhead, Mokum and D-Force Techno. Individually, with 20 years of experience behind them across many aspects of the rave scene including DJ'ing, Event Promotion and even working in local record stores, the guys intend to take the "Tekscape" project as far as it can possibly go. |

Search | Add | 7 | Analogue Dream | Massimo Santucci | Progressive psychedelic trance solo project based in Ludwigshafen, Germany 'Analogue Dream' was the very first Electronic Music project of “full-blood musician”, visionary, rebel and music producer 'Massimo Santucci'. The project was born back in 1996 together with his brother Tony Santucci after a few visits in the legendary Grube, Tara & Zero Club’s in the Sauerland area.Between 1997 and 2000 Analogue Dream played hundreds of Live acts without have released any record. In February 2000, during a show, they meet Shiva Shidapu (aka Jörg Kessler) from Shiva Space Technology -one of the most respected Record company at that time-. Jörg was impressed from the Analogue Dream sound and signed one of the tunes called “Euphemistic Visions” for his Album/ Compilation “The Call of Shiva”. In 2000 another signing follows on the label Nephilim Records with the track “Tribal Dance & Go On” where Massimo used live recorded percussions and some Voice samples of his 2 Years old son. 2002 and 2003 was very successful years with a schedule full packed of show’s but in this time the most of the Psy- and Progressive-Trance Record companies in Germany and Europe closed they doors so the follow ups albums of Massimo Santucci - Al Dente, Prototyp - Phantom or the first Analogue Dream album has never been released. From 2004 on he concentrated himself on music production and started on the Record Company OpaqueMusic as a Producer and Sound Engineer. There he worked on many multi genre projects that were not only played on heat rotation in worldwide music club's but and also the way in the European Dance or Pop charts. Now, many years after Analogue Dream, Massimo is producing a bunch of new Psy- and Progressive-Trance tunes to strike the success of old days. With releases between 2018 and 2020 on Nutek America, Pharmacy Music and his own Label Global Trance LTD and some unforgettable live act on Festivals like Nature One, Ruhr in Love or in legendary clubs such as Butan Club, U-Club or Matrix he already showed that psy-trance is still owing through his blood.
