Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

The cowboy, born Jan. 8, 1929, in Pampa, Texas, had rolled to three consecutive world titles in the early 1950s before suffering a potentially career-ending knee injury. Ignoring his doctors’ advice to quit rodeo, he went on to have his best season ever. Akridge later reinjured his knee and was forced to retire. At the same time, he gave up his seat as bareback riding director on the PRCA Board of Directors. He wore a heavy brace for two years. But in 1959, Akridge decided to pursue a fourth world title. He retired the brace, endured the pain, and in 1961 captured his fourth world title. | Search | Add | 8 | Of Life | Niloc Epil first began writing and recording his own brand of meditative thumping electronic soundscapes in the late 1990's. The first few albums were recorded completely using 4-Track and external cassettte machines, and in a very rudamentary fashion, using a couple of synths and drum machines. The recordings were done straight onto tape, without any signal processing, giving the material a raw sound. Additional overdubs were done with thru a stereo system, recording the new tracks with a microphone. All albums have been produced by coL. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | UFe | If you ask him about his love for music, UFe is a man of few words. But, then again, any artist speaks through his means of artistic expression. In his case, UFe manifests himself as an explosion of diverse musical influences and genres that create a unique style which resists easy categorization. From the ancestral rhythms of Africa and the tropical sounds of Latin America, to the jazz and funk breaks that made the foundation of hip hop, plus some of the electronic music currently enjoying a vogue, many elements have helped shape his style into an admirably eclectic music. He blends this vastly diversified repertoire into his own sound and expresses it into his own idiom with imaginative synthesis that makes the listening a vigorous and exciting experience. UFe is also an accomplished producer, experiments with percussion and is currenly inloved in live projects such as Kosmic Blues and Groove Hug. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | Tristan Eaton | Born in L.A. in 1978, Tristan Eaton started pursuing street art as a teenager, painting everything from billboards to dumpsters in the urban landscapes of the cities where he lived, be it London, Detroit, or New York. He designed his first toy for Fisher-Price at 18 years old and soon became a driving force in the world of designer toys. Eaton's work for Kidrobot, including the famous Dunny and Munny art toys, helped him achieve international renown and an ever-growing fan base. After forming his Creative Agency Thunderdog Studios in New York City in 2004, Eaton became a leader in the advertising and commercial-art spheres, and is regularly commissioned by a roster of clients that includes Nike, Versace, and even Barack Obama. These days, Eaton is one of the most prominent street artists working today. Eaton’s large scale mural work features a meticulous, visual collage of pop imagery mixed with his unique personal style, all executed with freehand spray paint on a colossal scale. Eaton now focuses on his Fine Art and large-scale mural work full-time, which can be found in dozens of cities across the globe from Paris to Shanghai. Eaton’s work can also be seen in the Museum of Modern Art's (MoMA) permanent collection. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | Ray (Rated-R) Montani | Ray Montani | Ray “Rated-R” Montani is a Canadian rapper, producer, and independent label founder from Surrey / Greater Vancouver, active since the early–mid 1990s. Known for raw street-level realism and early DIY production, Montani is the founder and primary architect of Rated-R Recordz, one of the more obscure but authentic independent imprints operating in British Columbia during the pre-internet era of Canadian hip-hop. Montani began writing and recording in his early teens, shaped by youth custody, group homes, and institutional life rather than formal music training. His earliest work circulated informally in the mid-1990s, built on access to local studios, borrowed equipment, and self-taught production techniques. Unlike many regional acts of the era, Montani functioned as both artist and producer, often recording, arranging, and overseeing projects himself. Britannia Badboys (1994–1995) Montani first gained traction as a member of Britannia Badboys, a short-lived but formative group named after Britannia Secondary School and inspired by lived experience rather than stylized gang imagery. The group’s material focused on survival, street economics, juvenile detention, and loyalty under pressure. Montani handled production duties while also contributing vocals, laying the groundwork for his later solo sound. Though largely unreleased commercially, Britannia Badboys recordings circulated locally and remain an important prelude to his solo work. Solo Era & Cold Row Mafia (1996) In 1996, Montani released his first solo project, Cold Row Mafia, under the Rated-R Recordz banner. Recorded during a period of personal instability and system involvement, the release is often cited as one of the rawest independent rap documents to emerge from the Lower Mainland in the 1990s. The album is marked by stark production, minimal polish, and unfiltered subject matter—courtrooms, remand time, fractured friendships, and the psychological weight of incarceration. Cold Row Mafia was distributed independently on cassette and CD in extremely limited quantities, with no formal promotion, making original copies scarce. Producer & Label Work (Late 1990s–2000s) As Rated-R Recordz expanded, Montani increasingly shifted into a producer / executive role, while still recording selectively as an artist. He produced and oversaw releases for several Vancouver-area acts, most notably Darker Shade of Brown, a South Vancouver duo active in the early 2000s. Montani handled beats, recording, arrangement, and creative direction for the group during their time with the label. During this period, Montani worked in proximity to figures connected to the broader Vancouver hip-hop ecosystem, including Devon Martin (Mr. Metro) and members of Shocore, absorbing studio knowledge, distribution realities, and the limits of independent Canadian rap in the pre-streaming era. While never positioned as a mainstream affiliate, Montani’s work reflects the same late-1990s West Coast Canadian underground that produced Shocore, Rascalz, and other regional acts—though from a far more insular, street-level vantage point. Later Years & Archival Work By the mid-2000s, Montani stepped back from regular releases, focusing on life outside music while maintaining ownership of his masters. In later years, he began revisiting and curating his catalog, reframing early work as historical documentation rather than commercial product. This included renewed attention to Cold Row Mafia, Britannia Badboys recordings, and Rated-R Recordz projects that never received formal recognition at the time of release. In the last 2000's he shifted to film making and currently makes crime and wrestling related documentaries. Legacy Ray “Rated-R” Montani occupies a niche but significant position in Canadian underground hip-hop history: an artist-producer whose work was shaped by lived experience rather than industry aspiration. His recordings stand as artifacts of a pre-digital era when independent rap in Canada was sustained by proximity, reputation, and persistence rather than visibility. |

| Search | Add | 8 | The Knowe O'Deil Band | The Knowe O'Deil Band hail from Orkney. its members had been playing for many years in ub sessions in and around Orkney before forming the group more than 10 years ago. Since this time the band has seen many talented Orcadian members come and go. There is a good tradition of music in Orkney, although there seem to be more tunes than songs. Very little of it has been heard outside Orkneny itself. There is an Orkney folk festival every year, held in the town of Stromness in May, and occasionally ceilidhs are held throughout the county. All members of the band are self taught Most of the tunes are Orcadian tradition, some of them are from famous native fiddlers. Remarkably enough, this is the first revivalist LP of folk music on the Orkneys. | |

| Search | Add | 8 | Pandit Govindram | Pandit Gobind Ram | Pandit Gobindram was from Punjab and started his career as a music director in Hindi Films in the late 1930s when he composed for Jeevan Jyoti (1937). He composed music for many Punjabi and Hindi films made in Lahore. Among them, Mangti (1942, Punjabi) and Sahara (1943,Hindi) were notable films. Mangti celebrated silver jubilee and is also remembered as a debut film of playback singer Zeenat Begum. After partition, he shifted to Mumbai and composed music for few Hindi films including Sarkar (1951), Jalpari (1952) and Raj Mahal (1953). He worked extensively with Shamshad Begum and also composed the most number of songs for her, approximately 86 Hindi songs in 19 films. Panditji was a true Lahori. Other music directors based at Lahore immediately shifted to Bombay when they achieved little prominency, like Shyam Sunder, Master Ghulam Haider, Feroze Nizami, Khurshed Anwar, Rashid Atre, Amar Nath etc but he stayed at Lahore until partition compelled him to cross the Redcliff line |
