Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Peter Shearer | Peter records CDs and DVDs of 'soaking music' as a resource both for other therapists and to back up his main activity of one-to-one or small group therapy and teaching - this helps clients to find freedom of spirit, increased creativity and healing using music. His compositions, improvisations and albums are enjoyed by young and old, and by varying creeds and cultures. Peter's albums have been heard in over 40 countries - in various settings ranging from hospices to restaurants. It often brings a calming effect which allows deep-seated emotions in the subconscious to surface and be dealt with safely. This is particularly true in a live ‘soaking therapy’ session. For this reason Peter works with other health and counselling professionals when appropriate. He has developed an impressive list of case studies which illustrate the breadth of application of his work.

Search | Add | 2 | Pato Barraza | Patricio Barraza | Patricio "Pato" Barraza has been one of the main exponents of original Costa Rican rock music in the last 30 years. Despite being more recognized for his work with the group "Inconsciente Colectivo". Pato has also ventured into other musical genres (soul, funk, jazz, new song, salsa, various radio and television commercials, etc). His need to make music started in the early 80's when he joined the (Saint Francis) school marching band for 5 years, where he also end up joining the school choir. Upon entering the Universidad de Costa Rica (1986), Pato dedicated himself to play music in the "pretil" of the University frequently, where he meet the newly armed duo: Café Con Leche composed by [a=Enrique Ramírez (3)] and [a=José Capmany]. From there a friendship with both is born and thus he begins as the opening act for a couple of acoustic concerts. After the separation of Enrique Ramírez from the already famous group, he joins him to form "Enrique y sus Secuaces" (1987). From there he meet Ulyses Grant, a classic cellist with a Caribbean soul with whom he forms an experimental group of Calypso, trova and rock called "IRIAKI". These last projects were the ones that opened the way to form "Inconsciente Colectivo" in Tres Ríos in 1989. |

Search | Add | 2 | DJ Kill Em All | Arnaud Debar | Kill Em All is first bitten by electronic music in 1996 thanks to The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers. Then follows a fever which makes him go towards the dark side represented by Amon Tobin, Aphex Twin ou Tricky : the atmospherical side of terror. First decks in 1998, he plays techno. In 2001, his love of huge rhythms makes him go towards productions of people like Manu le Malin or Laurent Hô. The need of causing industrial violence takes over and Kill Em All becomes possessed by English hardcore. Always in search of new methods for punishing people, he has in 2005 a revelation thanks to dutch sound : power and precision to serve an efficient method of destruction. Search | Add | 2 | Rue Du Canal | Formed in early 2013 Rue du Canal was created as a vehicle for performing the compositions of legendary French accordionist Serge Desaunay. Serge started off playing with La Chiffonnie a groundbreaking French folk group of the 70’s. After that he spent several years playing music with his brother Patrick. Après La Pluie (1979) and Le Beau Temps (1984), the two albums released by the brothers, are regarded today as milestones in French folkmusic. While mainly concentrating on Serges compositions, Rue du Canal also traverses the musical styles of musette and tango. Rue du Canal also includes Ray Barron on mandolin/mandola, Kieran Fahy on fiddle and Gaspard Vanardois on guitar/oud.Kieran originally from Tuam, County Galway has been living in Belgium since 1983. At present he tours regularly in France, Holland and Belgium with his band Shantalla. He has recorded on over 30 CD’s to date. Kieran also contributes some of his compositions to the mix. Ray has been playing music for over 35 years. He has toured all over Europe, USA, Australia and New Zealand. He is renowned for his dexterous and exciting mandolin playing. Ray has recorded four albums with his group Two Time Polka and continues to tour and play with the band on a regular basis. Gaspard has played with Serge in their Eastern European styled gypsy band Taraf Borzo. His guitar playing drives the whole combination along with its gypsy swing type accompaniment. Gaspard also plays the Arabic oud which brings an exotic taste of the East to the band.

Search | Add | 2 | RAAF Operational Command Band | For most of the 20th century there were two [l=Royal Australian Air Force] bands. The [a=R.A.A.F. Central Band] and the Air Command Band aka RAAF Richmond Band, RAAF 1 Regional Band or the [a=RAAF Operational Command Band]. Before 1952 there were a number of other bands of amateur musicians. In 1932 the Air Command Band started as the RAAF Richmond Band. In 1969 it was renamed the RAAF 1 Regional Band and disbanded early in 1974, then reinstated later that year under the new title of the RAAF Operational Command Band. In 1988 the band was renamed the Air Command Band. Bandmasters c1927-1934 Ernest Thomas Joseph Keller 1935 Corporal Naylor 1946-1955 Ernest John 'Tubby' Fellows 1955-1969 ??? Music Directors 1969-1974 [a=Michael A. Butcher] 1974-1978 Archie Burt 1978-1988 [a=Tom Cooper (6)] 1988-2000 [a=David C. Worrall] 2000-2008 John Buckley The Band was formed by the then Commanding Officer of RAAF Richmond, Squadron Leader Bostock, and was a part-time brass band. This group of part-time musicians came from different trades within the RAAF and was under the direction of Leading Aircraftman Ern Keller. As the part-time band grew in numbers and expertise, it became very busy and was comparable to most full time Army bands. The first band officer was Flying Officer Richard. Over the years the Band performed at many events including royal visits, Government House investitures and in 1940 it escorted 6 Squadron to the station on its departure to join the war effort, and held a concert for the Empire Air Training Scheme contingent bound for Canada. The Band was also asked to accompany [a=Gracie Fields], the then well known singer, at a welfare/comfort concert which was held at the [l=Sydney Town Hall]. In 1946 Flight Lieutenant 'Tubby' Fellows became bandmaster. In 1969 it became a full-time band. Starting with 12 musicians, it was renamed the RAAF 1 Regional Band, and at that time woodwind instruments were introduced. Pilot Officer M. Butcher was the first Director of Music. Due to government policy the Band was disbanded early in 1974, but successful lobbying saw it reinstated later that year under the new title of the RAAF Operational Command Band under the direction of Flight Lieutenant Archie Burt. In 1978, a new director, Squadron Leader [a=Tom Cooper (6)], was appointed. He was a graduate of the Royal Military School of Music (Kneller Hall) London. With the re-orgamsation of RAAF Air Headquarters in 1988 the band was renamed the Air Command Band. The Air Command Band has included a full concert band, an 18-piece jazz band, a seven-piece combo known as 'Touch and Go', a brass quintet known as 'Jet Stream' and a woodwind quintet known as 'Windshear'. In 2008 the band merged with the [a=R.A.A.F. Central Band] from Laverton to form the Air Force Band.

Все обложки альбомов, которые вышли и будут выходить (за исключением первого EP - Last horse on the Moon, ее автор - Анастасия Зернова из г. Тольятти) - тоже авторские."

Search | Add | 2 | غرام | Gharam Alareeny = غرام العويني | Gharam (Arabic: غرام العويني) is a Jordanian singer, model and actress. Gharam refuses to say her real name, and thus stated to her fans that her artistic name reflects her and there is no need to know her real name. Gharam has been crowned as the most beautiful Jordanian singer, by Sawsan Al Sayyed in her program “Malikat” on Hiya TV. She has been appreciated for her work and the difficult times she has encountered with the Arabic media, and especially the Jordanian public views. Gharam has shot a video clip for her song “Saddikni” and it was banned to be broadcasted for political reasons. The video clip included hot scenes and sexy shows of girls who danced in the mud and at the same time views from the devastating war that has been prevailing in the Arab countries for years. Many people resembled Gharam by the famous Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe. However Gharam refuses this resemblance, and stated that she is much younger than Haifa and each has her own style. As for accusing her of imitating Dana’s video clips, this has also created rumors in the media. Finally, Gharam and her fight with the Jordanian public, led her to declare that she quit being too expressive and will focus on art and music professionally. Gharam cannot break the Jordanian traditions on her own, and gets disappointed when she sees that the Jordanian public accepts Lebanese artists as they are and complain about Jordanian singers. The day will come when the Jordanian singer will prove to her country Jordan that through her music and style, she will succeed more than anyone else. |

Search | Add | 2 | Monkeeastronaut | Riccardo Occhionero | Monkeeastronaut is a solo project of the Italian musician Riccardo Occhionero. The purpose is to bring an experimental mixture of soundscapes trying to evoke for the listener a sense of bewilderment, fear and astonishment, just like a monkey could feel travelling through space. Basically it's an attempt to explore how human curiosity and arrogance can generate forms of evil that are against the nature of things, using innocent living forms as oblivious witnesses of the utopistic reach of a knowledge that is far beyond the present step in evolution. Oh and there's some random improvisation as well. "Beware the beast Man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him; drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death." Planet Of The Apes - 1968. |

Search | Add | 2 | Ilana Bar Rashi | Ilana Evelyn Gittler Bar Rashi is a musician, artist, DJ and producer originally from Massachusetts, USA. Surrounded by virtuoso jazz musicians, Ilana grew up with a natural passion for art and music. She was part of several bands as a guitarist and drummer and later on delved into sound design, where she found the ability to express herself in a deeper and more complex way. After being exposed to the unique healing effects of dancing in a trance state, Ilana dedicated her musical work for bringing that experience to the audience. Since 2011 Ilana has been performing at Psytrance events around the globe and releasing music under her middle name Evelyn. In 2019, Evelyn’s track "True Freedom" was played at the opening of the historic protest for cultural freedom in Tel Aviv, where over 50k people came to fight for their rights. The track wasn’t officially released but is available on YouTube together with powerful footage from the protest. In 2021 Eternal064 was established, a record label and home to other works of art, with a main focus of encouraging a stronger connection between human and earth, and to one another. Evelyn produces all of her music in A=432hz, a tuning that naturally resonates with natures frequencies.
