Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Dave Drennon | A veteran of the Branson, Missouri "opry" scene, bandleader Dave Drennon was the first country artist to record for the Springfield-based American Artists label, which documented many of the Ozarks-area regional musicians of the 1970s. He and his wife Dee Drennon, split off from her family's Branson revue (The Presley Mountain Music Jamboree) and started their own venue in the early 1970s, the Crossroads Auditorium in Nixa, Missouri, near Springfield. A few years later, in 1975 they pulled up stakes again and moved to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, where they opened a 900-seat venue called the Pine Mountain Jamboree. The Drennons ran Pine Mountain as a family business for over thirty years, eventually selling it to a fellow Bransonite, Mike Bishop, in 2006. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Grim County Coroners | Dom Kreep | the story so far... The birth of The Grim County Coroners 4th. November. 2014 I was looking for something. Something hard to find because, well, I wasn't sure what it was to begin with... Somewhere between dead sounds, red dead redemption and the long, dark tunnel that led up to the last Kreeps album proper, "Spirit Clinic", I'd stopped having fun, and when you're an artist sometimes finding enjoyment in your creativity is all you have. things were developing well with Kreeps and all the signature sounds were still intact - but something was missing. i needed a way to tap directly back into the source of my love for dark surf and experimental soundtrack music - essentially where Kreeps began. a psychic feedback loop if you will. The Grim County Coroners had to be born. Between the records mentioned above is where most of the coroners material was written and recorded - an attempt to stitch together surf, rockabilly and jump blues with lurching, experimental, early-synth soundtracks - but after the stresses surrounding the release of "Spirit Clinic" I soon decided to take a break from music to regroup and concentrate on other things, and The Coroners project was largely forgotten about. Until now... When the dust settled I relocated and began to frequent Scarecrow Video in Seattle, which pulled me back into that crazy world of sound and vision all over again. anyone that's been to Scarecrow knows it's an overwhelming archive of incredible cinema. Suddenly I was reconnected with all those trashy and psychedelic horrors and thrillers I was so influenced by when I started Kreeps. I suddenly had access to films I'd never had an opportunity to see and some films I'd never even heard about. I loved everything about them. The cinematography, the crazy dialogue, the often nonsensical plots, and of course the soundtracks. several sparks were reignited during my trash cinema orgy - and I started thinking about The Coroners again. Meanwhile, Bob Nixon (Kreeps visual designer extraordinaire) had been getting into producing sculpted toys of his cartoon characters (see 'The Unfortunates') and this led to us talking about old board game designs we'd liked and that he'd really like to produce one some day. We came up with the concept of a 60's style spooky board game with accompanying music to play along to, but it was very much a dream at that point. 'The Curse Of Grim County' is set to be released as a series of limited vinyl records to form a mini album to accompany the board game. |

| Search | Add | 3 | G Is Us | G is Us, a rough band of self proclaimed “Super Hero’s” and “Rock Stars”, combines electronic beats with hard hitting metal guitar lines, rocking drums, punk and metal bass lines, and vocals that sound like your mom. This collection of “Suburban Ninja Rockers”, as they call their unique style of music, are popular not only for their silly and serious songs, but for their unique live shows, complete with a circuit bend Speak and Spell, a Nintendo, a thermin mounted on a skateboard, and many other off the wall wacky devices. Audiences enjoy the fact that the band welcomes interacting with them before, during and after songs, inciting banter, and an occasional on stage wrestling match. The band, led by Spookyboy and founded in early 2002, recorded a 4 track demo with only a Yahmaha DJ box and vocals. And it was in the pursuit of this demo that the Snack Time decided to sign on as bass player. Shortly after that they signed on a guitarist, and recorded the 7 track demo “Rock Stars love Us” or “20 Minutes to Failure” in late 2002. They added a seasoned Latin jazz drummer, Professa’E, in the first days of 2003, after which continued playing shows all over Sonoma County, including the very first show at the Burton Center in Rohnert Park. After the departure of their original guitarist later that year, the band regrouped, adding a new guitarist, Lenry, and the female vocalist, Cami Cat, to take over the electronics. G is US is currently recording a full length album expected to be released in late 2004, all the while continuing to play shows, and bringing their unique style of music to the masses! | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Stewart Eastham | Stewart Eastham takes his music in bold new directions with his third full length solo album The Great Silence. His first solo album (The Man I Once Was) painted a portrait of a man in turmoil and his second (Dancers In The Mansion) took on a more celebratory tone. His new release The Great Silence takes on the metaphysical realm exploring grand themes of life, death, and rebirth. While it’s not technically a “concept” album, it feels like one with its repeating themes and motifs. The album opens with instrumental track “The Renaissance” showing us right away Eastham is ready to break through the restrictions of the Americana genre where his previous work resided. Synths play a prominent part on that track and the album as a whole. Rather than keep his songwriting and film score composing separate, Eastham made the conscious decision to blend the two for this album creating a cinematic backdrop for his esoteric, yet relatable tales. Using both analog and digital synths, Eastham created rich sonic soundscapes that weave through most of the songs. Title track “The Great Silence” features a biting lead analog synth evocative of the classic Moog sound. That song has a 9+ minute instrumental coda that closes out the album with a “John Carpenter meets Run The Jewels” vibe. In the somber “Do You Dream”, Eastham’s stark voice and acoustic guitar are wrapped in warm synth sounds highlighting a bass tone that gets deeper and deeper with each successive, heartbreaking verse. While Eastham has expanded his sonic palette, the rich storytelling of his lyrics remain intact. The first single “40 Days” has a synthy rock n roll vibe and contains dark and surreal lyrics showcasing metaphysical elements found throughout the entire album. According to Eastham: “‘40 Days’ was one of the earliest songs I wrote on the album and, because of that, it helped define the overarching death/rebirth theme of the entire record. Through the main character’s exotic journey into the heart of darkness I was able to address some of my own fears regarding death and madness. During the recording process, this is the first song I put synths on. I really fell in love with that sound which also went on to help define the whole album.” Songs “One More” and the anthemic “Take My Land” have a classic rock vibe with nods to the past but arrangements that reside firmly in the present. And lest you think Eastham has left the country genre behind, he brings his vocal chops to the country tune “Curtain Call” bringing to mind recent work by Chris Stapleton. “Flowers To My Gravestone” somehow manages to mix disco and bluegrass in Eastham’s humorous tale of man stuck between this world and the next. “The Executioner’s Lament” is reminiscent of Eastham’s work with Day Of The Outlaw that veered more towards hard rock. The surreal yet poignant lyrics match the visceral power of the music. The spooky “Lake’s Edge” is evocative of a classic horror film with its mysterious tale of a man assessing his life while visiting his hometown. While big drums have always been a trademark of Eastham’s sound, his hip-hop influences shine through even more on this record. This is most evident on the searing “Beyond The Oaks” where Eastham sings over booming 808 drums. He explains, “I really wanted to throw out the rulebook for this album.” That adventurous spirit is also evident in the rocker “Life Of Crime” that features a synth solo with a distinctly Eastern European vibe. This album marks Eastham’s second outing co-producing his own material alongside Burke Ericson. Eastham now works out of his own studio and through his film score work has moved more comfortably into the producer role. As he put it, “I really had a lot of fun collaborating with Burke on the album’s production. Burke is in LA and I’m in Nashville so we were constantly sending ideas and sounds back and forth. I think this album was our truest collaboration in terms of really dialing in a specific and unique sound for this record.” The bulk of the album was recorded at ER Studio in Nashville, TN. Though there are synth sounds throughout, Eastham and Ericson wanted the album to have a live rock n roll feel at its core. Thus all four band members recorded together in the same room so each song had a vibe unique to that moment. The album features returning champions Allen Jones on drums and Jeff Rogers on lead guitar. Christopher Griffiths joined the team on bass guitar. All four of them have played live shows together, so there was already a strong musical bond in place before they set foot in the studio. This time around Eastham and Ericson played most of the extra instrumentation themselves rather than reaching out to their friends as they did on Eastham’s previous albums. They did bring back the outrageously talented David Yuter on piano/organ and Jennifer Gibbons returned laying down beautiful backing vocals throughout the record. The album was once again mixed and mastered by the maestro Rich Mouser. Eastham was born and raised in the foothills of rural Northern California. He grew up on the sounds of classic and outlaw country, supplemented with a love of rock ’n’ roll—starting with his parents’ beat-up Elvis and Beatles records on up through the glossy pop of hair metal. Eastham is also a long time hip-hop fan, with a strong appreciation for the classics as well as modern sounds. A lot of his youth was spent consuming horror films which were also a big influence on this album. While attending UC Davis, Eastham played drums in various bands. After graduating with a degree in Computer Engineering, he switched gears and moved to Los Angeles to attend film school and study acting. He fronted the band Day Of The Outlaw for two albums before embarking on a solo career after moving to Nashville from Los Angeles in the fall of 2010. He immediately fell in love with the city. According to Eastham, “You just can’t help but be creative in this town”. While continuing with his lyric based songwriting, Eastham has also moved further into the world of film scoring. In 2020 he scored feature length horror film “Human No More”. The soundtrack album is due to arrive on vinyl mid-2021. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Surf Messengers | The Surf Messengers | Who are The Surf Messengers? Annie Q (from Devon), when not trying to find out what noises a milk bottle can make, plays flute, sax and clarinet and creates wistfully twisted lyrics. Glenda Pescado (from West Wales), if not playing the bass, loves to manipulate noise and mess with off-centred and otherwise effected records as well as heavily-treated, sampled and looped guitars and such like. You may also know him by psyche-rock band SENDELICA. Nick Danger (from Surrey) is essentially a drummer who thinks the whole world is a drum kit; but he also likes to explore other sounds, usually invovling the unlikely juxtapostion of household objects and can often be seen with his trusty dictaphone in hand. And will whitney (from Devon) likes to hit things with varying degrees of violence: sometimes suspended gearbox housings but often just a guitar or a keyboard. They come together once or twice a year to play and record as THE SURF MESSENGERS. They've been playing together as this combo for over 10 years now and have an understanding that allows them to improvise creatively in many different set-ups: sometimes as a straight beat combo; sometimes as a experimental cell; but, more often than not, as a combination of these. What you can be sure of is, whatever instrumentation they choose to use, whether it be regular or radical, the resulting music is always interesting, frequently challenging, sometimes darkly humourous and often extremely beautiful. And all the music is created without prior discussion. Most of TSM recordings are rare self-produced CDR's which can be ordered through their own C IS FOR DOG RECORDS. |

| Search | Add | 3 | BenKane | Dávid Ben-Kane | A brand new face to the industry of house and electronic music. Started DJing a couple of years ago, but always sharing how good music can feel like. BenKane inspired by a lot of great entertainers and producers like Claptone, David Penn, Angelo Ferreri and Idris Elba is ready to go to the next level step by step. For now, mostly Budapest based, where he played almost in every festival and participated shows in many underground places. The half African and half Hungarian househead is one of the most recognizable djs in the country, always in shirts but in the most colorful way that you can imagine and even when you close your eyes, you will know that he is playing because of his selection of funky, deep and groovy music. The letter can be heard in the songs that he releases. A lot of tracks are in the making now, which are waiting to be heard and they will be as well funky, deep, groovy or all of the above. He is aiming big and he don’t want to copy anyone. He will try to bring his new style to the widest array of people as soon as possible. As for what’s next for the Hungarian producer, remains to be seen, but you can be sure that you will be hearing his name sooner than you’ll except. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Masha Dabelka | Mariya Aleynikova | My artist name is Masha Dabelka, I grew up in a strange eclectic fast developing place called Novosibirsk, Russia. After finishing my classical music education, I came to the idea to organize a series of proper underground techno events on the sites of brutalist post-soviet architecture, which gave me numerous abandoned warehouses to realize my cultural projects in Siberia. While organizing different events I collaborated on apocalyptic techno-punk sound and performed live as well and explored half of the country with DJ and live sets. At some point, I moved to Austria to get some additional experience in Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. I like to play with borders between academic and non-academic, pop and underground, original and borrowed, preservation and sharing, old and new, serious and funny. I work with artifacts and conduct artistic and theoretical research on cultural phenomena of the past. In short words, I produce cinematic music, spin some music discs at the edge, confront ignorance and fill the space with vibration. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Shakey Bones | "Shakey Bones played from January 2006 - August 2007. It all started in Dub-C, California. Our name came from a skeleton hand holding a broken wine glass, Zack noticed it after waking up from his sleep under the living room table, woke Sean up and said "Shakey Bones broke the glass!!!" Zack and Sean played banjo and guitar together in the very beginning, along with Stiv on the Stivharp. The beginning formation spent most of the time busking on the streets of Dub-C, and eventually recruited the upright bass playing Zeebo. We spent our first few months playing various folk/blues songs (and recorded the first 9-song demo) and eventually worked ourself into a fully functional street band. Tilton joined us ukulele soon after Stiv moved to LA, and Zeebo went on to do what Zeebo does best. Bryan joined us on bass, and this became our solid lineup." | |

Back to Mama is not the slogan, but the name of the band. We are from Halle the city near the river Saale, also known as the grey diva. The brittle, dirty however upsetting charm, which this city has, is found again in the music of BACK TO MAMA, lovers of handmade, oppressive rock, who commit themselves now stylistic too - as they call it - "Bloody Fuzz Rock"... Ill, heart-impact moderate rock, sometimes pulsating, piercing and urgently, then again taking back calmly. From the love for large, tube driven amplifiers created tones, which drives voluminoes pressureful on the ears... The members of "Back To Mama" are ramppigs. Live Back To Mama develops ever more to a speedcooker with a high energy rock performance, which brings the public to raving. The resonance of the refrigerator-large Cabinets, the strong volume the equipment is poducing, lifts itself against chest and ears and leaves the viewer and listener with a pleasant feeling of glowing fire. .. ..style: Fuzz Rock.. since 2003..

| Search | Add | 3 | Larry Gore | Larry Gore (1923-1973) was a Bronx-born comedy writer and public relations man whose clients included stars such as John Wayne, Anita Ekberg, Red Skelton, Tina Louise and Tiny Tim -- he was publicist for the wedding of Tiny Tim to Miss Vicki on Johnny Carson's "Tonight Show." He wrote for MAD Magazine from the 1950s to the early 1970s, and was also MAD's first public relations man. Beginning sometime in the late 1950s he would sometimes get masthead credit as "Propaganda Minister" or being in charge of "Publicity Lies." Gore would plant fake newspaper column items reporting crazy things like MAD was going to publish a waterproof edition that could be read in the shower, or that its employees were paid in $2 bills. MAD publisher William Gaines perhaps paid him the highest complement possible in a 1960 interview: "I didn't think we needed a press agent, but Feldstein did. What Gore says embarasses me. I can't communicate with him. He's even madder than we are. But I suppose if we've got to have a press agent, we might as well have a Mad one." It is claimed by some that Larry Gore was the only MAD writer who was kicked off the magazine for being too Mad. He is credited with several famous back covers skewering Richard Nixon, some published posthumously by the magazine. Larry was also a comedy publisher in his own right. He wrote a truly looney newspaper comic strip called "Larry Gore's Thing" with MAD artist Bob Clarke providing the art. It ran from 1968 to 1972 in Newsday and was syndicated around the country as well for a while. Oh, yeah...he made some comedy records, too... | |

As a graduate of the Ryzard Pusz School of Percussion he has been actively involved with bands since the early eighties, although most notably in his 13 year tenure as 'Vocalist/Guitarist' with the multi award winning Australian band 'The Violets'. Disillusioned with the traditional 'band' format, he eventually formed EVOLETAH, not so much as a band but as a 'musical project' to record songs written for The Violets that had never been recorded. Having 'Cherry Picked' members, this resulted in the projects initial offering 'Fool's Errand'.
