Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Curse Of Samsara | CURSE of SAMSARA was an epic metal outfit from Philadelphia, PA active from 2009-2015. Drawing influence from thrash, death, black and power metal, Samsara takes the listener on a journey through the bowels of consciousness, expressing in it’s dark form the legend of life as we know it, that which we've been fooled to believe. Twisting harmonic patterns intertwined with chunky speed riffage, rhythmic intensity, and melodic interludes forge the phenomenon of this heavy metal band.

He was born in a small town in the province of Carchi, San Gabriel Humberto Bedón leaves the pranks lived in the José Julián Andrade School, the experiences in Radio Ecos de Montúfar and the candor of the young women who rehilated with their interpretations. It is established in Quito in the streets Oriente and Benalcázar, a few steps from the Espejo, Éxito, Tarqui stations and from where the hill of Itchimbía was seen in which was Channel 6 of TV, scenarios that were the prop to be the best singer Romantic. Every Sunday was the attraction on Channel 6 TV in black and white where he was paid 20 sucres. The first recording - a 45 rpm single - recorded at the Street Studios, was sold at 25 sucres. "My crazy Youth" became fashionable, and there was no home that did not acquire it. It was the years 72 and 73, he related to the teacher Polibio Mayorga. In 1977 he enters Sayce. Humberto was his own businessman, visiting radios and other media. Roberto Recalde of the record label Fadisa hired him to record for two years. Search | Add | 3 | Remipeds | The Remipeds first appeared in the lively and flourishing music scene of post-punk London in the late 1970s. Right from the beginning, it was clear that this was no ordinary band jumping on many of the bandwagons that were making their way through the clubs and pubs of trend-crazed London. Initially confining their mind-bending live performances to the 23rd of every month and/or full moons, this band borrowed more from the future than the past or the present. A remarkable blend of rock, psychedelia, world-music, ambient, reggae and dub, techno, and postmodern juxtapositions of TV and movie themes with pseudo-political and outer-space samples, Remipeds never quite let the listener know what was going on by making sure the band didn't either. The Remipeds burned brightly for around two years. Their meteoric rise to fame, coupled with an incredible creative output in the form of songs, interpretive dances, children's stories, multi-media events, bodily noises, and more, took London and indeed most of England by storm. Their influence can be said to have penetrated every nook and cranny of popular music today. Yet despite this, most people have never heard of them. This is one of the profound injustices our research team at Pimlico University has set out to remedy. Along with what has come to be known in the literature as "The Cover-Up," we will also trace how the band was boycotted by major record companies following the "EMI Xmas Caper," in which the lads found that record company executives are singularly lacking in sense of humor when it pertains to their own persons. Living constantly at the temperature of their own destruction, and sometimes exceeding it by quite a bit, the at times overheated Remipeds came to epitomize the power of Creativity, Freedom, and Independent Music, proudly recording on their own Banana Records as a statement against the corruption so rampant in the music industry. Unfortunately, the complex challenge of reconciling order and disorder within the band's profoundly pluralistic and admittedly ample bosom simply proved too much. After a couple of years, the centripetal force created by Remipeds expelled the band members one after the other. The band disbanded in the early 80s, but not before leaving behind an astonishing body of work. Slowly but surely, we hope to present this body of work on this web site. We want to bring to the attention of today's listeners a band that was so ahead of its time, it was once humorously speculated they were in fact time travellers. In a disturbing twist, and proving that many a true word is often spoken in jest, we shall see that this bizarre conjecture may not be as outlandish as it might seem. The fate of the members is documented, of course, in Harry J. Clarke's classic tale of the road, "Me Wanta Rainbow Remiped: In Search of the Band that Changed the Music." This website will contain all the information available to us at present. It was compiled by the Ethno-Musicology department at Pimlico University by a team headed by Prof. Clifford Llewellyn. We will focus on presenting to the public a wide collection of artefacts, ranging from sound-samples to video-clips to historical segments, to published and unpublished interviews, found objects, reviews, merchandise, scholarly treatises and analyses, explorations of musical sources and influences and colleagues, drug paraphernalia, and other "Remipediana." Stay tuned, and feel free to drop us a line if you want to ask us anything, or if you have any information about the Remipeds. We are particularly interested in contacting people who saw, worked with, or were intimate with the band. www.remipeds.com

Search | Add | 3 | Michael L Penman | Michael is a young ambitious music engineer and sound designer. He has managed to solidify his skills across a wide range of genres and platforms. This has led he to work with many prestigious artists such as Photek, Gwen Stenfani, Switch, Asian Dub Foundation and many more. Having worked for other highly talented and influential artist is it that Michael has decided to turn his hand to producing. But instead of using his contacts in the mainstream of music culture he has took a drastic right turn and delved deep into music’s vast under belly. This seen him release a number of hits on Slovakian minimal label Leporelo. With each track possessing bouncy catchy bass lines, slamming drums and a wide array of glitched out percussion and effects. These delight little morsels soon tickled the taste buds of the M_nus crew, with “Moose Man” & “Greasy Love” being played week in and week out. Ambivalent was even so kind to have charted “Greasy Love” in his October Glass Half Full Chart. Soon many an opportunity came a knocking, which lead Michael to remix Yello’s infancies hit “Oh Yeah”. Also within this time he release a heavy darkroom sample pack on Sample Magic’s Sound to Sample, which has already received great support. Within this time he was featured in both Future Music and Computer Music magazines. Both magazine gave great reviews. Michael is currently working on some sexy house projects with Blond:ish, deep driven techno with Mynude and some soul moving classical with Hazlitt. In this time Michael has also opened his doors to other producers who need a experienced mix and master to help achieve their sonic dreams. He is quite simply a short email away. So stayed tuned cause there is a lot more to come from this up and coming artist.

They formed in 2009 and have since released ‘Make believe’ (2012) and regularly perform live and at parties as well as music festivals. Aerolips music floats in the air, driven by romantic electric beats based on 80’s electric pop accompanying a sweet lonely soul's trip to the nightclub. Aerolips are a synth-pop duo who formed in 2010, consisting of U-Krist Sirichana and Darunee “Janjan” Suepongsa. After the success of his dream pop band, Slow Reverse, U-Krist wanted to start a new electronic dance project, so he joined up with singer Janjan to create Aerolips. The results are a combination of sweet, playful female vocals, and a blending of vintage synthesizers with modern electronic keyboards, all together riding smoothly on energetic disco beats. Their music has simple melodies that are captivating and well structured. |
