Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Spam Animals | Spam Animals is really only a convenient header for a series of ad-hoc collaborations which were done during 1986 & 1987. A lot of the material produced by this pairing was very much "tongue in cheek" and, to a certain extent, this puts the work in the category of a "fuck band" in that it was often about indulging in private jokes rather than trying to produce anything too serious.

Search | Add | 3 | Plasma2097 | PLASMA2097 is the artist name of a dude who was born in the 80s, raised in the 90s and influenced during the turn of the millennium. The name consists of two parts: “PLASMA” marks the ingenuity about futuristic accomplishments in science and the love for science fiction tv shows and movies like Star Trek The Next Generation, Stargate and Alien up to Back to the Future. “2097” symbolises a homage for the Playstation game WipE’Out’’2097. When it comes to musical influences it would be best to stick to genres otherwise this biography could turn into a full scale name dropping apocalypse from the end of the 90s until today. Musical influences throughout the centuries spread out from Techno, Trance, Electro, House, Minimal and Dubstep. PLASMA2097’s first moves with 12 years began with dj experimentation on a two cassette deck ghetto blaster. By the age of eighteen the rise of technologies gave him the ability to already have recorded a bunch of stomping techno and trance tracks. Over time the bpm count and style changed, varied and evolved into something he calls his own style. In late 2016 ESTEBAM RECORDS were founded by him to become a self publishing artist. His main motivation is trying to make any sense at all and to immortalize himself. The best reward of all is to being heard and to give someone a good time. PLASMA2097 is a coffee and harmony loving music addict with a professional background in graphic design. He likes to create corporate identities and t-shirt designs for him and his friends. He says weird things like this: “Plasma2097 is the name for minimalistic non commercial techhouse tunes created by contemporary mood changes and influences.”

Search | Add | 3 | Geminga | Geminga’s music flows through dreamy moods, to then shake you up with funky electronic beats. The band gets its inspiration from all over the universe. Each track tells its own musical story. Sometimes with words in English, sometimes in Dutch, sometimes in a made up language. Intense, stubborn and urgent, is what Geminga stands for. Whether it’s an ‘ordinary’ popsong or an artistic composition for a choreography like the performance This is me / as time goes by. The essence counts. With that, Geminga’s music aims straight for the heart of the listener.

Search | Add | 3 | Sabandija | Sabandija was formed in 2005 in Santiago, Chile, from the ashes of Grillos Roncos, a band between high school friends in Cajon del Maipo in 2003. Since then it has been Damien Esquerre on guitar and vocals and my best friend Max Reid on drums. They have played with different bassists but for the longest with Igor Barrenechea. Currently sound engineer Fernando Leon performs bass duties. Because members live on different continents, this project is dormant most of the time, but quite loud when they get together. Sabandija takes influences from classic hard rock, doom and sludge metal and punk. Lyrics go from reptilian themes, to the doom of mankind, always with an acid sense of humour. they have released five albums: Contaminación Acústica (2005), Venganza Batracia (2008), Anales de la Mierda (2009), Squamata (2012-2015) and Amplexo (2023).

His past lays somewhere in the shades of the island of St. Lucia where he is told to have been a smuggler to make a living. His kind of Reggae is cool, dark, positive, and powerful, but most of all it is charismatic and it looks into the future. When performing live, the stage lights illuminate his wooden leg prosthesis when he leans on his handcrafted wooden stick and in his dark voice teaches his critical opinions about what's going on these days to the audience. |

Search | Add | 3 | THïTH | Musical hooligans with an eye towards sleepware; punk rockers in PJs. Serious musicians who take nothing seriously. THïTH are pajama-clad cherry pickers who steal, we mean borrow, liberally from hard rock, punk, metal, alternative, stoner rock, blues, pop, grunge, and genres that have yet to be defined - a riotous party that spills over from the stage.
