These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Forming [a4916381] in 1990, Hector became a pioneering voice of Trinidad's alternative rock scene, writing his very first song, "Arrest Arrest," about the Jamaat al Muslimeen coup attempt which occurred that year. The song was released as a single in 1991, backed with the equally political "Red House." Its message, filled with references to the event, deeply resonated with local listeners through regular airplay on Radio Tempo. The band was also the first to have a nationally-broadcasted music video for their single, which was shown on Trinidad & Tobago Television (TTT). In 1993, the band signed with US-based indie label Nerve Records and released another single, "Bright And Early Monday Morning," this time sticking to broader subject matter about everyday life. Their debut mini-album, Localize It (a play on the Peter Tosh song "Legalize It"), appeared in 1994, compiling their previous material with new songs. Despite the band's following continuing to increase, Nerve Records folded, and Oddfellows Local disbanded in 1995. In 1996, Hector formed another band, [a4083858], creating a unique identity that blended calypso, punk, folk, and rock. Jointpop became Hector's longest and most successful endeavor, comprising eight albums and an extensive touring record across the Caribbean, US and UK before disbanding in 2019. Utilising electric guitar, drums, bass and keyboard to mix and adapt the different elements of traditional Gambian music and culture to create a new Gambian sound.« (Chicken Attack Records, G.B., that produced and distributes the before 2019 E.P. »Abarake Bake«.) »The band is named after a powerful historic village in The Gambia, where slaves were transported to America and Europe. This is the village where a brave slave called Kunta Kinteh was born. His name spread in most parts of the world. A lot of musicians passed through this band. | Search | Add | 3 | Bendis | The band “Bendis” was a Niteroi Ska, Hardcore and Punk Rock band that emerged in 1995. Its last line-up included musicians Bruno GI Joe (vocals), João “PX” Pinaud (guitar and vocals), Lucas Benevides (guitar ), Maurício Machado (drums) and Ricardo Sá (bass and vocals), with Ricardo being the only remaining member of the original line-up. The band was named after a Portuguese version of the skate video “Ban This”, by Powell Peralta. “Bendis” began his work playing an unknown rhythm, Ska, in bars and parties in Niterói, São Gonçalo and Rio de Janeiro, and soon recorded his first demo tape on K7 called “O Início”. In 1999, Bendis played for the first time in another state, at the 4th Edition of the Goiânia Noise Festival. After that, he also played in São Paulo, Curitiba and Minas Gerais. In September 2001, the band entered the studio and recorded five songs from the EP “A Primeira Vez é Inesquecível” (2002), when bassist Ricardo became the official composer. At the end of the same year, the band Bendis made its second performance in São Paulo, including a debut at Hangar 110, a mandatory stage in the country's rock scene. He also began to frequent websites, magazines and newspapers. Still in 2001, guitarist Lucas joined the band to improve the rare solos in the middle of SKA's chords. In 2003, Bendis played in cities such as Araruama, Petrópolis and Rio Bonito. He also participated in a four-show tour in the interior of São Paulo and, in 2004, played at Bar do Blues, São Gonçalo; Bunker – RJ; Jet Club da Barra – RJ and in Araruama. | |
