Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Ihre Debüt-Single I’m Gonna Make You Love Me beweist eindrucksvoll, welche grosse Musikalität in dieser Band ihnen steckt. Essential Fore is without a doubt THE melodic pop group from the alpine country; the Swiss artists who have been missing from the Swiss top league so far. With their honest manner they are cross-generational and reach old and young. Their songs are a mixture of ravishing uptemp numbers and beautiful ballads that almost compete with each other for the rank of potential single hits. Their debut single I'm Gonna Make You Love Me impressively proves the great musicality of this band. Their outstanding voices, so voluminous, sure and clear that they can playfully interpret any musical phrasing and their personalities, which couldn't be more inspiring: positive, cheerful, optimistic!

Search | Add | 3 | Blackwall Hitch | Hardcore band from Milwaukee/West Bend, WI. Active in the early 2000's. Band members include: Vocals: Jeff Winkowski Guitar: Andy Freeburg Bass: Trevor Broskowski Drums: Eric Gorecki Vocals (post 7"): [a2482688] Blackwall Hitch was a hardcore band started by Andy Freeburg and myself (Jeff Winkowski) shortly after 9/11, while I was putting the finishing touches on “What Do we have to do” (A Violent Femmes Tribute), and folding my music magazine, Actionman. Andy and I were really longing to get back into a primal hardcore band and be very serious about the production of the records and prolific in our frequency of playing out. We also were keenly aware of the sound we wanted, now in our mid twenties. The move at the time was the Cave-In faux prog. stuff which I liked but it did not fit the urgency of the music we were trying to manifest. Thus, we auditioned a handful of technically proficient drummers and bass players and wished them well. Enter two kids: Eric Gorecki and Trevor “snake” Broskowski. They were younger than us and just as no frills, yet had the chops to play fast and hard and the desire to practice religiously. Trevor gave us the name of our band and of our seven inch ( “Milwaukee Burning”) and Eric gave us four takes for four songs in our recording session, no mistakes after doing thirteen shows with us in just a two months. We recorded on 1/4 inch tape at Eugene III’s studio ( The Etiquette). We were all really pleased with the grit and the quality at once that both the tape and Eugene’s supervision provided. The night we did the back up vocals we invited a youth crew. Jeremy Ampe and the Laval Blessing guys were in attendance as were some really young punk rockers who were hanging out on Brady Street. Lighting started striking nearby and the tape machine began to hiss. The equipment was not easy to replace nor was it cheap. We called it a night and did the backups the next day by ourselves. The record turned out great and after two seasons more of shows I moved to Chicago. I gave my blessing on our buddy Dan from [a6148530] (Thrash and Burn) to take over on vocals. We were all friends.

Forgiven and free, he suddenly found himself with a new heart, and a 'new song'.

Search | Add | 3 | The Fourtune-Tellers | The Fourtune-Tellers formed 2006 in Stockholm when Andreas Jonsson and Mathias Westerlund joined forces and rented a rehearsal studio for themselves. Andreas took care of the drums while Mathias played guitar and discussions begun on what to name the band, and also what musicians to recruit for the band. They settled quickly for The Fourtune-Tellers and soon Kari Harström was recruited to play drums, and Andreas picked up the 2nd guitar and took care about the vocals. Old time friend Nicklas Olsson, living in Gothenburg but with plans on moving to Stockholm, was invited to play bass guitar. But awaiting Nicklas move, the band had to find a temporary bass player. Soon they asked Peter Rosén from The Moving Sounds to step in, which he did. After the second rehearsal Peter, very inspired and dedicated, asked the other members, "So, what's the plan, am I in or not?". Since Nicklas move seemed to be more talk than action, it was decided that Peter got the job permanently. Their debut EP Voodoo Girl was recorded at Göran Thungströms studio in Sundsvall, Sweden over an weekend, and released on copaseDisques in 2007. The band did several successful drunken gigs all around Europe, playing their own brand of sloppy and energetic neo garage punk. The follow up EP Don't Tell Me The Words was recorded at Real Studio by Per Ängkvist and released on copaseDisques in 2009. Soon after Kari left the band and drummer boy Handsome Hank Högberg joined forces. After a few years also Peter decided to leave the group, feeling being member of two bands was a bit too much and wanted more time for cycling. He played his last gig at Bassy in Berlin 13 February 2010, and was the same night offered a gig with The Fuzztones. Being determined to spend more time on cycling he turned down the offer much to Rudi's disappointment. Either way, the gig was a success and he went out with a BOOM! In came wonder kid Pontus Söderberg, a young man who brought new blood to the group. The sound became somewhat refined, but still keeping the punky edge. The band continued with successful and drunken sprees around Europe, and soon recorded Storm, a song penned by Jens Lindberg and given to the band exclusively. The band had met label mates The X-Ray Harpoons at Summer Safari in Halle, and soon after decided to release a split single, and Storm ended up on The Fourtune-Tellers side. It was released in 2011. In the spring 2012 the band brought in Johan Ullman on Farfisa organ. New recordings took place and the band made a fantastic gig at the PsychWard Club, Oslo, May 5th, which was to be the only live gig Johan played with the band. A month later the band travelled to Moscow for a gig, but Johan was left at home due to troubles getting the visa. It was a chaotic gig, although it went down well the band was sort of exhausted. In august 2012, due to different circumstances, Pontus felt it was time to move on to other projects, and the band went on hiatus. A gig was scheduled at Landet, Stockholm, March 16th 2013. But the gig was cancelled. Search | Add | 3 | Pad Beryll | Since 1997 the likeable Swiss DJ Pad Beryll is performing behind the DJ Desk and is ever since addicted to house music. Driven by fascination and passion he brought his style to perfection and he loves to pass his elegant and uplifting house to others in order to celebrate a great party with them. It’s due to his outstanding reputation as a talented Deejay that famous clubs such as the „Elephant Club“ located in St. Gallen, the „Bolero Lifestyle Club“ in Winterthur or „the boot“ located in Konstanz (Germany) book him regularly. The result of a long-lived friendship with his DJ-collegue Marco Berto is his resident place in the line-up of his famous Deep Love events. Since 2002 Pad is working as adviser and artist director in terms of house music for the „Firehouse Moods Club“ located in Weinfelden Switzerland. In the same club he is also responsible for the specials (i.e. special acts) at Gigs like „Delicious Minds“ which is known as the one and only House-Party of the canton of Thurgau, taking place every two months and on a regular base hosting acts like KneeDeep, Jamie Lewis, Ian Carey, Panevino and Lisa Millett. Pad has as well been elected for continuous performances at the legendary „Masters of Disaster“ events. Due to this long-standing co-operation with M.o.D. the smart DJ was from 2005 – 2009 part of the M.o.D. recordings crew, which is a Swiss house label being known for innovative and qualitative Sound. Periodically he used to mix the M.o.D. radio shows which were being broadcasted internationally and his mixes appealed in the world of house enthusiasts. Proudly Pad Beryll was in October 2007 able to release on M.o.D. recordings his first studio work – a remix of Spain’s 2Brothers of Soul. Furthermore renowned labels such as Purple Music and Tricirle Rec. released remixes as well. His first own production came out in co-operation with well-known Andrea Love „The Voice“ (Hit: Shined on me). Out of it emerged the title „Under Your Spell“ which will be released early summer 2010 by the Label Reelgroove (UK). Overall, Pad Beryll was able to achieve high esteem supraregionally and meanwhile belongs to the most experienced and popular Deejays of the eastern part of Switzerland.

Search | Add | 3 | kruse h | Henning Kruse | Born 1980 in Hannover. German Singer-Songwriter based in Munich. In 2005 he discovered digital music production by chance and soon came up with the idea of combining it with his love of poetry. This created a means for kruse h to discover, understand and process one's own feelings and those of others. In terms of content, he is often devoted to the uncomfortable, controversial, frightening, painful - but not in order to persist, but to take away the horror of the negative side of life. |

Search | Add | 3 | Babylon projekt | The Babylon Projekt is an Italian music project duo formed in Summer 2015 by two cousins, Denny Zeta and Ilaria Binatti. Denny is a great music expert and LP collector at 360 degrees since his youth. He learned how to play music by himself. He is also involved in another music project duo, the Bara Foetida, with his cousin Triplax Vermifrux, with whom created about 150 instrumental songs by using different kind of alternative instrument and devices, influenced by music genres like dark wave and psychedelic rock. By the way, the meeting with Ilaria gave him the impulse to form a new music project. Ilaria comes from a more commercial music culture. Since her childhood, she enjoyed writing poems and lyrics. She took music and piano lessons in her youth, but she got tired very soon, because she was more interested in singing rather than in playing, but she was too shy to take singing lessons. She never told anyone about her passion until the meeting with Denny. Thanks to the precious support of their friends, they unified their passion, creativity, talents and efforts, and created the Babylon Projekt. On October 20th 2015 they recorded their first two songs in studio, “Sono un DJ”, released on November 15th, and “Listen to my radio”. Their main music genre is electronic, influenced by genres like reggae, pop, dark, and many others. Their love for music has no boundaries, so they don’t want to follow only one specific genre, and the lyrics of their tracks are in several languages. They estimate the release of their debut album in Spring 2016. |
