Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Telairon | Ben Wachter | Ben Wachter,A.K.A Telairon, was born December 24, 1975, in the small town of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Though he grew up listening to 80s synth pop, among many other genres of music, what intrigued and caught Ben’s attention most was music which said something, music which was complex, intriguing, lush. By the early nineties he started listening to artists like Age of Love, Cygnus X and Push, all of which turned him on to the (then) new world of electronic music. Ben started creating his own music on his PC around 2003. It has become his full time hobby and he has been making tracks and mixes ever since. He has worked at an independent university radio station and has played as DJ for eleven years, working mainly within the electronic genre. As a DJ and producer, Telairon works within various sub-genres of electronic music, trance being his main focus. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Lou Rose | Bred in the streets of Oakland - California, Lou Rose inherited a unique swag, which is translated to his deep passion for music. Lou Rose at 12 years old was strongly influenced by many artists from all types of genres throughout different generations including urban artists/groups and lyricists such as the late Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G., Outkast, Too Short, Three 6 Mafia, R. Kelly, Jamie Foxx, New Edition, Guy, Jackson 5 just to name a few. However, it was not until he partnered up with a group of friends as a rap rookie in the late 1990’s that he finally got to showcase his rap skills which helped spawned his creativity in Hip Hop and R&B/Rap and continue to pursue his addiction for music. While never giving up on the American Dream, the young rapper then delivered his first local club hit track “Long Island Ice Tea” in summer of 2006 and composed numerous mix tapes. Late summer of 2009, he then dropped his debut album “Evolution” which gained underground access to help reach his first major music milestone. April 2011, he then dropped “FREEWORLD” with guest on Over Night Celebrity stating the album as “..Lou Rose is the new bay sound!” while later releasing “Color Me Bad” in September 2011 and is currently working on another album titled, “Love & Loyalty” which will release some time early in the new year. As CEO and founder of Global 1 Music Group, the young entrepreneur successfully bridges an exclusive deal with UrbanLife and AWAL Distribution with one goal in mind, to deliver his music across the globe. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Erika Lundahl | Erika Lundahl | Originally from the Willamette Valley of Oregon on Kalapuya land, Erika began performing in upstate New York in 2012. She returned to the tall trees and rugged wilderness of the Pacific Northwest in late 2013. She is a multidisciplinary musician and community organizer committed to low-carbon touring in her electric vehicle. Based on Coast Salish land in Seattle, Erika’s folk medicine roots in personal and collective histories of resilience, dancing between shadow and light to seek futures of abundance, possibility and healing. Her newest album “Messy, Blessed Infinity” is an exuberant love letter to the world, wrapped in notes that bend from energized folk rock to hushed spoken word poetry. Refracting like light through glass, the album celebrates Pacific Northwest resistance movements like the Fairy Creek Blockade and efforts to breach the Snake River dams, and then heads inward to embrace the soft animal body within, exploring the self with songs of grief, reckonings with intimacy, heartbreak, and self care. Record Crates United reviewed Erika’s 2020 album "Daughter, You're a Storyteller," saying: "..a stellar collection of deeply personal ballads and tributes to the heart. With songs that are inspired by the unlocking of the stories within our genetics, and seeking to explore our pasts to better understand our present adult minds and bodies." |

| Search | Add | 3 | Hari Sima | Paco León | Electronic ambient from Valencia.Spain Steering away through an independent countercurrent from the most pompous and overtly atmospheric alumni of the Berlin School, and the far out yoga classes from New Age, but still very psych militant, we get the concise and thorough sound of “Fluido Tiempo”. Through sort-of-short tracks we unveil possible references such as JD Emmanuel or Amoon Düül taken to realms such as urban commuter trance or empty city vagabondage. Subterranean electronic synthesizer music is well known for its penchant for the loner, the living room wanderer and the night tripper but it has rarely seen a proposal this emotional. Deeply imbedded in the fertile in radical ideas Cassette Culture, Sima figures out sounds to communicate human emotions such as melancholy, uncertainty, absence or loss. This first reference by Paco León’s solo alias -he usually practices kosmische gymnastics with his band Güiro meets Russia- is a very nice surprise that will delight Cortini or Fitoussi fans. |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Degrads | Creating a mishmash of five-minutes-ago punk, early 80's college-radio sounds, FM rock, and general goofiness, the Degrads foisted a batch of quirky, original, musically-accomplished-but-deliberately-silly songs upon the sleepy Rochester suburbs in the summer of 1982. From the whiny, lightweight punk of "Dopes!" and "I Should've Worn Shorts With Pockets" to the snotty party grooves of "Dancing in My Underwear" and "Get Down – Get Back Up Again!" to the sophomoric comedy of "I Don't Care if She Smells" and "Eat Roughage" to the bizarre musical theater of "Eggplants and Venison Stew" (which was performed live by hand-puppets) . . . well, the titles say it all, don't they? Among the tracks heard here are signature tune "What's My Problem?" and tongue-in-cheek ballads "Fun with a Porpoise" and "Nancy" (both sung by 15-year-old Spuzzy Dynamite). The Degrads returned in the summer of '83, by which time they had begun to take themselves more seriously as a "new music" band. That season brought them Rochester club outings (notably with the Chesterfield Kings), college radio airplay, and a local TV appearance (see pictures). Their self-released pop-punk single, "I Saw Bobbie Sobbing in the Lobby", earned them a review in Trouser Press before they disbanded. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Robert Burton Hubele | Hubele is the oldest of eight children, raised in the prairies of southern Alberta, Canada. At 14 he worked at a steel mill and then became a heavy equipment operator. At 21 he wrote his first song. Hubele’s music is original jazz and blues. He plays slide dobro and acoustic and electric guitar. Hubele’s warm, deep dynamic voice and polished delivery of originals and standards enthrall his audiences. He performs solo, as a duo or trio, or in front of a big band. Hubele’s world view is that love and harmony are all. Writing songs and giving concerts are Hubele’s form of procreation - leaving a mark on the world - causing people to see their lives in a new, more harmonious light. And it is not always the big things in life that are the most important. Hubele writes about the little things that make a difference. Hubele is entirely self-taught. His love for the blues started with listening to popular music on the radio as a teen. What caught his ear was Eric Burden’s ‘House of the Rising Sun’. He had no idea that it was the blues, but he just had to learn to play that song. His friend Butch, a redcap and co-worker at the Canadian Pacific Railroad, offered to loan him his electric guitar and amplifier and teach him how to play. Hubele became fascinated with the earthy beat and emotional impact of the blues. He began listening to, and playing along with, B.B. King, Howlin’ Wolf, Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, and Freddie and Albert King. Hubele’s introduction to jazz was through Chuck Tracy, a hard-core lounge musician and a really funny guy who was Hubele’s roomate for a while. In listening to him rehearse and perform, he got turned onto the music of Tom Waits, Mose Allison and Fats Waller. He also listened to Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Benny Goodman and - especially- Cab Calloway and Louis Jordan. There is also a touch of country in Hubele’s music from growing up on the prairies on the fringe of Calgary, where music by Hank Williams, Hank Snow, and Marty Robbins was the background of his life. Hubele’s interest in slide dobro came when he first heard Bonnie Raitt in the early 70s, and he had to learn how to make that ‘slidey’ sound. She had learned to play slide from Mississippi Fred McDowell. Hubele figured out how to tune his guitar to slide tuning, and eventually he got the hang of it. Hubele writes when the song comes to him, about one each month. It takes one-half to two hours to write a song. The best ones often come the fastest. Polishing and learning a song takes about a couple of weeks. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Pitshu | Alberto Matondo Manzambi | Alberto Matondo Manzambi a.k.a. Pitshu migrated to São Paulo, Brazil from Luanda, Angola in 2005 at the age of 20. With him he brought a unique voice for a kind of music unknown to him at the time. His musical occupation back home was singing Kuduro, a genre of popular dance born in Angola at the end of the '80s that continues to evolve today. Still getting accustomed to the third-largest city in the world, he befriended Jimmy The Dancer, a well-known personality in the Centre. Jimmy introduced him to the Dubversão Sound System, led by DJ Fabinho Yellow P since 2001. Dubversão had a regular Friday party downtown, playing roots reggae and dub selections rarely heard in the city at that time. In 2006, Pitshu brought his unique voice to the party - not versed in Jamaican music, his sense of melody, phrasing and cadence was a fresh, new juxtaposition upon the heavier tempo of Jamaican reggae and the psychedelic sounds of dub version. The combination worked famously and Pitshubecame the official MC for the party. This association also resulted in his first CD, "Basoda", produced and released by Dubversão in 2008. Victor Rice was another regular at the party since 2002, discovering it soon after relocating to São Paulo from NYC. Already an 'honorary member' by 2007, Rice brought his Strikkly Vikkly Dubsystem to the party for a special performance. Pitshu improvised deftly over one of the tracks, a King Django rhythm called "Nex Season", while the camera was recording. Rice noted the melody and invited Pitshu over to Studio Copan to develop and record the idea. This would become the first of many collaborations (and the opening track to the sophomore record). Pitshu would arrive at the studio nine more times over the course of two years, and in 2009 Dubversão's Yellow P and Mau would join Rice at the mix sessions. This, Pitshu's second full-length record, has already yielded a 7" single, "Jah Kona" b/w "Major Vikkly"[TRT-001], an instrumental version by Cedric I.M. Brooks(Tenor Sax) and Kevin Batchelor(Trumpet). Pitshu and Rice drew on a variety of source material for these recordings. Some of the backing tracks were created on the spot using real drum tracks from other songs, or a combination of loops and samples. The bass was always played by Rice, though sometimes written by Pitshu. Other rhythm tracks were entirely pre-existing productions that inspired the singer to find a melody. Pitshu jumps freely between languages - Lingala, Portuguese, French, and on occasion Kikongo, English and Swahili. It would take a very particular ear to to discern each and every word of his performances. Pitshu assures the listener that all lyrics are of a basic, positive nature: Giving thanks to the Creator, treating children well, respecting one another. An interesting exception is "Pastore", where he calls attention to those members of the clergy that would abuse their position in society for pleasure and personal gain. Pitshu can still be readily found singing at the parties in the centre of São Paulo - His old collaboration w/ Strikkly Vikkly sometimes comes to the stage, and he has started working with a live band, Massahara, as well. credits released Octo |
