Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 6 | Neon Voyagers | In 2021, NEON VOYAGERS were born in Patras Greece . They consist of Alexandros Tzamalis and Tryfonas Tryfonopoulos and aim to bring 80's sounds full of analog synthesizers and Neon lights to today. The creative duo grew up in the age of Neon light. They were experientially nourished by music from John Carpender's films. Grew up with tv shows like the Voyagers, Knight Rider, Doctor Who, Tales from the crypt. When games were 8bit and movies in VHS.The sounds of NEON VOYAGERS are captured by analog synthesizers and drum machines. This neon voyagers 2023 self-titled debut album is the first full length completed work. It is undeniably a genuine example of synthwave. The cinematic approach as the 10 tracks unfolds in a selected order is a composed transition from dark post apocalyptic to neo-romantic feelings of a first date at a drive inn.As they characteristically note, "we are space-time travelers in a musical Neon universe. We live in the present, the future, the past at all times. Bean me up Scotty. We are the Neon Voyagers." | |

Originally build before 1910 in Paris by the Gasparini company and named after the five figures at its front, one conductor, two calling ladies and two rigid (not moving) ladies in dance posture. In 1926, when it belonged to Louis Holvoet, completely remodeled by the Carl Frei company in Breda, which removed the figures in the front and added two side panels with fashionably dressed ladies. After it was acquired by Henk Möhlmann from Amsterdam, the organ's front received three new figures, in addition to the side panels, so that it again deserved its original name, "De Vijf Beelden." |

| Search | Add | 6 | Deep Water Reunion | The Deep Water Reunion | Members circa 1966 - 1970: Barbara Raney Bob Hayes Jerry Miller Brent Webster Brad Kamp Keith Skue History: C.f. "The Rivermen" formed in Little Rock, Arkansas in the early-to-mid 1960s: [a3576197] The Rivermen recorded and released a couple of singles within their local, Little Rock market before disbanding. A couple of years later, The Deep Water Reunion emerged on the scene in New Orleans when former "Rivermen" Jerry Miller, Barbara Raney, and Bob Hayes reunited there. The band played locally and even appeared on Bourbon Street before beginning a more extensive, two year tour. The tour eventually brought them to the upper midwest. In early 1968 they traveled to Nashville to record a single for RCA Records: "Ruby Foo." While the band had developed something of a regional following, it was during their tour through the upper midwest that they recorded the bulk of their material. They recorded two live albums in St. Paul, Minnesota over a couple of nights in the late spring / early summer of 1968. They returned to the area the following year to record their only studio album, "DWR", in Minneapolis. While some have come to think of them as "a Minnesota band" in the years since they disbanded, they were truly an Arkansas band with a Minnesota connection that only emerged later in their career. The Deep Water Reunion's unique renderings of some of the most popular songs of the late 1960s had kept them in demand for several years, and they have retained a sort of cult following to this day. But by the early 1970s the members again went their separate ways. Subsequently, members Hayes and Miller played as solo artists and in other bands throughout the midwest (and beyond), while Barbara Raney continued as a solo artist, and had a regional country rock hit in 1983. Singles / 7" releases: "Ruby Foo / I Wanna Know" RCA Victor – 47-9609 (1968) [r4688909] "It's All Over Now Baby Blue / Break My Mind" (Self released / Jerral, 1970) LPs: 1968: "Deep Water" -- Recorded "live at The Showboat." 1968: "Deepwater (161)" -- Recorded "live at The Showboat." Note: As both of these live albums were recorded at the same venue and share the same center labels, they are sometimes misunderstood as a single album with a re-issue. What differentiates each are different setlists, different matrix numbers, and different album jacket artwork. 1969: "DWR" - Studio album recorded at Sound 80 in Minneapolis, and released on the band's own "Jerral Records" imprint. Radio Play: "Cindy's Crying" Following the 1969 release of "DWR", this cover of a Tom Paxton song became a signature tune on Clyde Clifford's cutting-edge "Beaker Street" program on KAAY 1090 out of Little Rock. While KAAY's 'clear channel' status helped the band's rendition reach a very dedicated audience, the song was never released as a single. Today their rendition is both true to the underground status of the band and the nature of the Beaker Street program, itself. In other words it has become truly iconic. Name Variations: The Deep Water Reunion is rendered as "Deep Water" (live album / labels), "Deepwater" (cover, live album / 161), and "Deep Water Reunion" ("DWR", cover - Jerral.) |

| Search | Add | 6 | Mel Paget | Melissa Paget | Melissa Paget is a multi-disciplinary artist from Vancouver, BC, Canada whose visual practice is heavily informed by her vast collection of rare 1970s and 1980s underground erotic culture magazines and catalogs. Her work ranges from illustration, mixed media, utilising metalwork and textiles to construct large-scale quilt-like ‘canvases’ that mirror the 70s and 80s manner of cut-and-paste advertising in the back sections of the magazines that directly influence the work and also provide carefully edited imagery. Paget’s eye for combining raw vintage sexual and related images creates further narratives of the body as a commodity but within a historically specialised environment thanks to her propensity for collecting tangible paper material and curation of the imagery giving the viewer an intensely directed view into the world of vintage sex magazine publishing via her ongoing feel for mixed media art, adding even more to the empire she’s created which also includes sound work (under the project title [a2626737]), video and obsessive illustration. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Secular Music Group | Secular Music Group is the merging of souls who believe in the crackle of tape, the whisper of magnetic hiss, and the alchemy of moments captured live. Formed by Chris Ruggiero alongside Yannis Panos, SMG with contributing band members Greg LaPine and Will Berman (alongside Ted Morcaldi, and Tim Walsh in earlier phases) gathers kindred spirits in music — players, dreamers, engineers — to sketch soundscapes that bridge past and present. They record live to tape: four tracks, 1970s-era machines, improvisation, melody, and gesture all captured in real time over short, intense sessions. No over-editing, no digital polish that smooths out character. Their home is in the warmth of analog equipment, in the ambience of a room filled with air and wood and strings, in the earnest breathing between notes. SMG’s music navigates the lineage of library music legends, free jazz, spiritual jazz, European avant-garde, and American minimalism. They feel like modern-day avant-garde 'I Marc 4': weaving film-score imagination, evocative textures, cinematic pacing, and deep connective tissue to heritage sounds of the ‘60s and ‘70s. They release in limited runs — small vinyl pressings that become artifacts and invitations: Volume 1 (released via Love All Day, with EU pressing by 2 Headed Deer) drew a quiet following; Volume 2 (also Love All Day) refines the vision, with lineups shifting, new compositions, and deepened structure. Every record is an act of preservation, discovery, and shared ritual. | |

He returned to China in 2000 and started the band [a8782204], which ended in 2003. After that he mysteriously disappeared all together. He returned with Chao Liumeng, who plays the morin khuur. Enjoyed music discussions with Jimi LaLumia, who worked in a local Sam Goody's and guided me to my first independent record store, Norlee's in Ronkonkoma. First studio recordings were with Vial Of Life, all friends and from the same area. Moved to Boston in 1983 and played in Sinn Fein, then fell in love with the Paisley Underground sound. Moved to Los Angeles by invite of David Roback to play in post-Clay Allison band, which didn't quite work out. Fell in love with the Nardcore and skate scene in LA and super fast hardcore with Ill Repute as favorite band. Jammed several times with Sylvia Juncosa. Moved to Santa Cruz. Moved back to Boston and joined GingerBread Men, bringing the NYC/Paisley/HC unlikely blend into songs. Started Gull Records and put out a GBM 7" (another came out on Arf Arf). More studio recordings were made at the time which have become a new Gull Records release. Became a College radio DJ, first at Harvard's WHRB, then Boston College's WZBC (Gulls Window Circus still airs every Tuesday 5-7pm EST). Formed Turkish Delight after seeing Kudgel at a Billy Ruane Birthday show, blending that sound with west coast bands such as Oiler, and the Atlanta band Pineal Ventana. In 2017 started the art punk band Gull Boy, currently in its fifth lineup and going strong.

| Search | Add | 6 | Syncretism | Syncretism, NOUN : the amalgamation of different religions, cultures or schools of thought. Dave Scotland and Peter Koppes first met in a different time as musical partner guitarists in a Glam Rock band called Baby Grande. Achieving some notoriety and success, the band ran its fiery course but ultimately fell apart. Peter soon after became one of the founding members of The Church which has become one of the enduring Australian acts able to achieve world wide success. Meanwhile, Dave kept away from the spotlight after an unproductive solo recording career with Wizard Records, at the time a part of EMI. But he kept songwriting and recording because the flame wouldn't go out. Recently, an opportunity arose for Peter and Dave to revive their musical co-writing and performing friendship. The music flowed from this and suddenly a first album was born with all instruments played by Peter and Dave. Peter wrote wonderful story-telling lyrics that allowed Dave to record vocals on the songs. The resulting record is very much a collaborative effort. This is and we are Syncretism. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Strip The Threads | Strip The Thread’s short existence in 2001, which only lasted for a year, left a memorable impact upon the Dutch Straight Edge hardcore scene. At the time, there were very few European bands who played straight forward clean-cut hardcore, inspired by the ones from a recent past such as Chain of Strenght, Hands Tied, Mouthpiece and Over The Line. On top of that: Strip The Threads consisted of members who were committed to the Straight Edge, (formerly) being part of bands like Reaching Forward, Know Your Enemy, Abusive Action, Product X and One Day Closer. With a budget of no more than just a couple of euros, the band released a limited edition 6 song demo-tape that was recorded in someone’s basement within a day. It sold out immediately and has never been re-released ever since, not until the songs were re-recorded and released as the "Won't hold back" EP by NOT JUST WORDS records not until 2010, but including two new songs. A year after their last show Strip The Threads made a guest appearance at the final show of fellow band Reaching Forward in 2002, the last time that all of the original members got together to play for a completely packed Goudvishal (Arnhem/Holland). A demo, some shirts, a handfull of shows and an amazing EP is what's left of Strip The Thread's legacy. Strip The Threads was: Johan - vocals Arthur - guitar Harm / Arold - bass Daan - drums Strip The Threads on the EP-recording: Johan - vocals / guitar Ries - drums Arthur - guitar / bass | |

While living in London and soaking up its unique brand of Hip-Hop, an insatiable evolutionary drive took Leg-No from mastering Techno and Rave to delving into the groove and bounce of new House. “ ...In his productions you can recognize a really cool fresh and bouncy housey touch. He moved first to London and then Berlin to join his friends Mowgli, Solo and Rivastarr. If I had to compare his music to one of them, I will not hesitate to say Rivastarr.” (High Maintenance) |

Thus the STOCKHOLM GIRLS CHOIR was founded. Since then the choir has appeared before his ROYAL MAJESTY KING GUSTAV ADOLF Vl of Sweden, has thrilled millions of radio listeners, has been acclaimed on a tour of European capitals, and has just concluded concert appearances through the U.S.A. | Search | Add | 6 | Christopher Cash | Fallbrook, California Desc: Born in Pasadena, California in the late fifties, Cash grew up along side rock music. As a boy, he watched The Beatles perform on Ed Sullivan and joined the ranks of their countless fans throughout the turbulent Sixties. Inspired by artists like David Bowie, Neal Young, and Lou Reed, he began playing guitar and writing songs in the early Seventies. After a string of copy bands to develop his performance skills, Cash joined forces with singer/songwriter William Loveless to form an acoustic duo called Akimbo. Freshly out of high school, Akimbo grew amplifiers, added drums and ultimately evolved into The Privates. The Privates enjoyed considerable success during the Eighties playing along side bands such as The Motels, The Plugz, and The Suburban Lawns at many of the popular Los Angeles venues of the day. The Privates signed a deal with a well known production company but fame and fortune never materialized. Buckling under the strain, The Privates broke up as their demo tape was being shopped and before the promise of a European tour could be fulfilled. As it turns out, this too was serendipitous. Dreams of rock stardom were replaced by more profitable endeavors ultimately providing Cash the resources to pursue his art on his own terms. During the Nineties, Cash played in various original groups including The Intelligence, Gadflies, and Wobblewire but career and family were his central focus. In 2004, Cash met producer Joe Ongie and asked him to work with him on his debut album titled Hollywood Mirage. In 2008 Cash released his second album Invisible with the band he had been playing since late in 2006. San Diego producer Jeff Berkley did a nice job helping him make an album he is very proud of. Since 2014, Cash has devoted a good deal of his time to his professional recording studio Sonic-Rocket.com In 2017 Cash formed another band called The Brilliant Deductions, this time with long time pal John Saccoman on bass and backing vocals, friend and Chief Engineer at the Rocket Shea Thompson on keyboards and backing vocals, Lead Guitarist (and Grammy nominee) Jan Bugaiski, and the amazing Dick Winter on drums. This has been a blast and is the foundation forsome of his best work to date. In addition to music, Cash is an accomplished woodworker, artist and holds down a full time job working for a reputable high tech company as a technical support manager.

| Search | Add | 6 | Romanças | Romanças were one of the most important groups in the Portuguese Folk movement, alongside others such as Vai de Roda or Brigada Victor Jara. The group was formed in 1986 and consisted of Pedro D'Orey (Guitar), Fernando Pereira (Braguesa and Voice), José Barros (Cavaquinho, Braguesa, Mandolin and Voice) and João Ramos (Violin and Flute), all musicians with extensive experience in other projects related to traditional music and beyond. In 1988 they publish their first album entitled "Romanças", which has the most known theme "Salsa Verde". This work already denotes, in the group, an attempt to escape a certain conventionalism installed in other groups of the kind. It is not a group that limits itself to recreating traditional music, but advances to its own compositions; although influenced by traditional music (but also with the assumption of several European Folk influences, mainly Irish). In 1991 they released their second long-term work entitled "Monte da Lua". On this record, the Romanças' effort to leave the corset to which some groups in this area are subject is already more visible. In "Monte da Lua" there are themes like "Salsaparilha", "Trigueirinha", "Monte da Lua", "Xula" and several traditional ones like "Homem Rico", "Saias de S.João" and "D.Varão". The band does several shows in Portugal and even tours in France and Ireland, playing with some of the great names in the European Folk scene, although their elements never really became professional in music, with the exception of Barros. Due to internal differences, José Barros leaves the band and goes to one of the formations of the Ronda dos Quatro Caminhos, at the same time that João Ramos starts to accompany the Quadrilha in live shows, a band of which he will later be a full member. Almost reported as extinct, Romanças will release a third album entitled "Azuldesejo" in which José Salgueiro (ex-Trovante), Fernando Molina, João Luís Lobo and José Carias collaborate. | |

Admittedly influenced by artists such as Townes Van Zandt, Neil Young, and Lou Reed, Brooks paints pictures that allow the listener to bask in the light of detachment; in a place where you can hear yourself listening. Earlier For some ten years, T.S. Brooks cut his teeth in the American indie-psych band, Minmae. When that was over, Brooks moved to Europe to pursue folk music full time, free of the joys and follies that come with the former. In Berlin he found a thriving acoustic scene, and the city's many basement venues and house shows suited the intimacy of his music, as well as providing a platform for its urgency. Upon arrival, Brooks had just released his first album, 'Tertiary Allotment Is A Delightfulness' on San Francisco, California's Snowstorm Music. In the two years since he has gone on to release 'The Spanish Years', recorded during a month in the outskirts of Barcelona, Spain, and the epic 'Alles Gute', recorded in old Friedrichshain factory in Berlin. Between these two albums, Brooks also recorded a limited edition 12" ep on House of Plenty. His most recent album, album,'Skyhooks', was self-released in 2013. Greywood Records released T.S. Brooks' 'best of...' digital-only album, 'A Network of Flickering Lights (2009-2015)' this year.
