Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 6 | Joan Marie Polo | Joan Marie Polo began in 1994 when two twelve year olds making home movies in Phoenix, AZ concocted a character named Joan Marie Polo. Songs were recorded with one member on tape loops, the other on vocals. Instrumental elements of songs from the 80s and 90s were looped, and vocals were overdubbed. Lyrics were typically not written, but ad-libbed. Joan Marie Polo recorded four tapes between 1994 and 1995. In 2000 a CD was made, The Love & Affection I Used to Have, which compiled a selection of songs from all four tapes (mostly from 1994’s Zig Death). The compilation CD wound up in the hands of Irwin Chusid who played JMP on WFMU. Additional songs were made available through MySpace. In 2005 The Love & Affection I Used to Have was made available as a CD-r and MP3. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Drone Forest | Artistic collective creating gritty ambient and quietnoise music. Drone Forest utilizes the internet to trade sound sources, which are assembled by the group into drone based soundscapes. With a few notable exceptions, each of Drone Forest's full-length releases are assembled by a single member of the collective, using sound sources recorded by the group. Thus the character of the group is relayed via an individual expression. Since the band is separated by great distance, audio source files are exchanged over the internet, each member's own sound studio used to manipulate and arrange the sounds toward a common set of ideals. The Drone Forest project was initiated by Ian C. Stewart in the year 2002 when he requested electronic audio files from Michael J. Bowman, C. Reider and Davie Blint. Mr. Stewart then used these files to create several long pieces of experimental music, which he set to a videotape of stark Winter trees. In the Spring of 2003, Drone Forest became active as a collaborative effort. | |

After 25 years behind his drum kit, he began developing his singing and taught himself to play acoustic guitar in order to explore classic American Delta Blues. Remi Aleksander Borgsø joined the band at Christmas 2011. In the spring of 2011 Unknown Weakness was written, and several other songs were added during 2011. 2012 started with studio sessions for Man of Sin and I'll find my way. Retaliation was recorded in January 2013 and released as a 10" vinyl single in June. Purveyor of Death are heading towards faster, harder and more complicated music, and are leaving the metalcore style. 5 new songs are planned to be recorded in the start of 2014, and a 12" EP or LP will be released within a year. _________________________________________________________________________________________________ | |

Five popular long-play albums and one cassette were produced and many of the songs on these recordings still remain very popular. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Pain Runs Deep | Pain Runs Deep did really start in late 90s, recorded a decent MCD, gigged a bit and went into a long hiatus to be back among the living in 2008. Refreshed, rejuvanted and reinforced they delivered bunch of quality shows, crushing all over the place, getting enormous feedback from the crowd who turned out to be totally new generation of hardcore kids with few of those who stage dove to their songs when they were around for the first time. Show after show, the excitment grew and many kids travelled from all over the country to enjoy their wild stage performance along with the message shouted loud. What seemed to be one time "let's get together and have some fun at shows" type of thing made them go record few new tunes to encapsulate the energy they drawn from the shows and express their current state of mind - musically and lyrically. Heavier than ever, highly structured, yet groovy hard hitting riffs, backed by furious vocals is what they created. What they've loved listening to hardcore for their lives, they simply poured into their music - from Cro-Mags through Burn, Conviction and Leeway to Burn It Down. Lyrically - still critical look at this world we live in, screaming for balance, harmony and reason. Not an average hardcore band that you can safely pigeonhole. Not the book you can judge by its cover or just by flicking through the pages. You need to look carefully at this baby and read between the lines. - Pat B | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Len Henry | LEN HENRY Born: July 6, 1943 - Boggy Creek, Manitoba, CANADA Raised in a musical family, Len Henry first performed professionally as a member of the group Burt Todd & The Firestrings, which later evolved into The Mystics, a band that played largely on the Winnipeg, Manitoba, bar scene. Len Henry then teamed-up with younger brother Harvey Henry to form The Henry Brothers Band, after which both brothers pursued solo careers in country music, with Len Henry forming the band Len Henry And Good Company. In the late 1970's Len Henry became a favourite with the late Elizabeth "Ma" Henning, owner operator of the famed Downs Motor Hotel in Winnipeg, as well as the Downs Records Company. As Executive Producer "Ma Henning brought in Nashville's Jack Clements to oversee production of Len Henry's 1978 debut album"Don't Give A Damn Kind Of A Man" (Downs DWNS-1000). The album served up a series of single releases, including the title track (DWNS-100) and the follow-up "She's That Kind Of Woman" b/w "When You're Sad" (DWNS-101). Two other singles from the album were billed as "Len Henry & Good Company", including "Poor Man's Railroad Line" (DWNS-1008) and "Ramblin" (DWNS-110). A second album, "Yesterday's Dreams" (Downs DWNS-81-1001) was released in 1981, this one produced in Winnipeg Studios by Craig Fotheringham. Again, several singles were pulled from the album, including the Barry Brown (of Family Brown) penned tune, "Cold Wind On The Mountain" b/w "Love Has Made A Fool Of Me Again" (DWNS-1001); followed by "Oh My Lady (DWNS-107). The next two singles were released on "Ma" Hennings new record label, Ameri-Can Records, with "What's It Like To Live In Texas" (DH-1001) and "Happy Ever After"(DH-1006), the latter proving to be Len Henry's only national chart showing, peaking at #35 on the RPM Charts in 1983. With the lack of any sustained chart action, Len Henry soon put his recording career on hold. He currently resides in Thorold, Ontario. Len's brother Harvey Henry passed away October 4, 2013 in Roblin, Manitoba. | |
