Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 7 | Funky Horror Band | Virtual Band and multimedia project created by Victor Entertainment in 1990. The band is comprised of six aliens who crash landed on Earth from their home planet of Hora-Hora Planet - they are: Avivi (Vocals), Mendes (Keyboard), Bam (Bass), Wally (Drums), Caroon (Guitar) and Claus (Saxophone). In reality, the band had a variety of performers playing instruments for them across their various releases, but mainstays include: Miyuki Furasawa on vocals, [a363421] and [a299483] on backup vocals, [a1064954] on guitar and [a488319] on saxophone. In order to obfuscate the fact that these are the actual performers, they were credited as "Friends of Musicians in Tokyo". In addition to various CD releases, there was also a tie in Sega Mega CD game, a book and a laserdisc. The project ceased activity some time in 1992.

Search | Add | 7 | Giedrius Zinkus | Giedrius Zinkus | DJ Zinkus, a.k.a. Giedrius Zinkus is a Lithuanian DJ, born on the 20th of August 1969. With a combination of different layers of pop and modern house music, Zinkus creates danceable music that perfectly fits the requirement of any contemporary event. In 1993 Zinkus launched a career as a professional DJ, which resulted in the acclaimed album ‘XX Amžiaus Mėsmalė’ (Twentieth century mincer) in 1995. An experimental release with electronic music that was strongly influenced with the modern classical genre. In 1999 Zinkus decided to take a step back from the music industry and explore other fields of interest. However, his passion for producing and entertaining kept lurking in his mind, and made him decide to realise a comeback in 2011. Older, wiser and with years of experience Zinkus is now producing danceable tracks on a continuous basis. Taking ultimate pop songs (e.g. Michael Jackson, George Michael) and turning them into unique and high-level house tunes. To create an exclusive and diverse vibe during live-performances, Zinkus mixes layers of Jazz, Orchestra, Folk, Middle East instruments and Actor speech into his tracks. A true artist with a high level of musical qualities, passion, and the ability to entertain a crowd; who operates according the principle ‘Party people may never be bored’! |

Search | Add | 7 | Cheflodeezy | Llordel Taylor | Cheflodeezy is a Jamaican born Miami rapper. Deezy moved to Opa Locka, Miami at the age of 9 where he lived with his mom and younger brother. Deezy found his love for music as a teenager at Miami Central High, when his best friend at the time introduced him to the beat making platform Fruity Loops. After high school, Deezy fell into the street life. By the age of 21 he had multiple arrests, struggled with homelessness and the loss of a few close friends to gun violence. After almost going to prison for undisclosed cases and the birth of his first child llamiyah, Deezy decided to change his life. The Miami rapper went to culinary school and pursued a career as a professional chef. This is where he got the nick name “Cheflodeezy”. He free-styled and had other students listen to his music on a daily basis. After graduating culinary school, Deezy began to climb in the hospitality industry. Cheflodeezy started to literally blow up in the culinary word where he was featured in SoHo House world magazine as a rising star on Deco drive, and cooking for various celebrities on visits. Never letting his love for music die, Cheflodeezy went to recording studios on his days off and wrote music before and after work on most days. Still dream chasing and dropping music weekly, Cheflodeezy does this for the love of the craft. |

Search | Add | 7 | Heybale | The Band, the Myth, the Legend... Heybale! has been holding down Sunday nights at the Continental Club in Austin since 2000. In the current band incarnation, Tom Lewis is playing drums, Redd Volkaert holds court on guitar, Earl Poole Ball pounds out the piano, Kevin Smith plays bass, and Dallas Wayne plays rhythm guitar. With a constant stable of the town’s very best players, the sounds coming from the stage on any Sunday night bring in dancers, hipsters, late nighters and off-duty musicians. Ironically, the beginning of Heybale! was actually at the End -- a club in Nashville where the band played its first performance. The only “post-Nashville” members of the band at that time were Tom and Redd, although they did meet a country singer named Gary Claxton who had recently moved to Nashville from Oklahoma. In 2000, Tom decided to move to Austin where he ran into Earl – they had met previously at the Palomino in Hollywood nearly 10 years before then. Within that same year, Redd and Gary also relocated to Austin, and by June of that year Heybale! had been resurrected. Come on out and kick up your heels on Sunday nights at the Continental Club; you won't regret it. Enjoy!

Search | Add | 7 | Junior Holt | Garth Holt | Junior Holt, born Garth Holt, is the son of Reggae Legend John Holt and Yvonne Leslie. Junior was born in the Maxfield Ave area of Kingston 13 and then moved to the country side of jamaica with his Grandma Leslie at age 7. He attended the Maud Mack School in Westmoreland then moved back to Kingston at age 13, where he went to the Tarrant Secondary. Junior started to sing at age 15 but not on a professional level. His main inspiration was his Father and then Dennis Brown. It was the year 1988 at the time he went to Spanish Town to live with his mom.Shortly after he was then introduced to DJ Hammer MouthChronicle and Gary Minott who had the inexperienced artist sing on dubplates and sound systems such as, City Rock, Strike Force, Turbo Crown, Impression Disco, and the big champion sound, Killaman Jaro. Junior Holt’s name start to ring an alarm in St.Catherine Jamaica. The young Holt started to gain more confidence in the music so it was time to hit the road to Kingston. He was introduced by his Mom to producer Ski High from Tuff Gong, who recorded three singles with the young singer. They were released in 1988 and did well in Europe. He was working at the Epiphany night club in New Kingston every Thursday night, under the supervision of Bobsie Grange. He was doing opening acts for Tony Rebel, Mighty Diamonds and Jack Radics. In the year 1993, he ran into Youth Promotion Producer Lincoln (Sugar) Minott, who recorded 2 singles from the artist and released them in Europe. In that same year Junior came across DJ Skullman, who also recorded 2 singles with the young singer. Those 2 tunes did well on the local scene and earned the singer the privilege to perform on Border Clash 93, which was the singer's first major show. In 1994, Junior Holt was introduced to Bob Marley's daughter, Cedella from Tuff Gong Records, by singer Anthony Mattai. The singer was soon signed and started to work on tracks with musical wiz, Handel Tucker. Soon after he was introduced to Singing Canary Sanchez and gained more popularity singing on the champion sound Sexilus which is also owned by Sanchez, which played every Wednesday night at StandPipe Kingston Jamaica. That was a place where you would find most artist hanging out. In 1995 Junior migrated to the United States, where he was introduced to Sir Coxone Dodd by Ansel Meditations. He recorded 5 singles for the Studio One label and by February 1996, "Still In Love with You", was released in NYC and getting regular rotation on the airwaves. In 1996 Junior moved to Connecticut and met Richie Calbut Mcpherson, and recorded a few singles that were getting regular rotation on the local radio stations. In the year 2000 Junior Holt teamed with Richie Calbut and put a 5 piece band together which was called the Calbut Band. The band lead singer which was Junior Holt all did well with shows all over Connecticut and some boroughs in New York city. In 1997 Junior Holt and ace DJ Mellow under the guidance of Valri Dotty Allen, entered the Apollo Theatre in Harlem NYC with the hit song, "Sipping Champagne." They both came out a winner and the song was released in Hartford, CT. Junior Holt then met up with King BenjI, owner of Tronic One Records. They immediately went into production on his new album called 'Good Vibes". Everyone who hears the album says it is going to be a # 1 seller. Junior Holt is now currently recording with Wattage Label under the leadership of Courtney Johnson who is also Ceo for the company. Recording Artist Don Fyah Wyah Hines also plays a great role in the Artiste Career as his road manager by earning the singer a few reputable shows down in the western side of USA. Junior Holt plans for the future is to continue his father’s works by singing good music and still set the trend his father did. You will be hearing from Junior Holt. |

Search | Add | 7 | The Silent Senders | Maurizio Duka Moroni (music and electronics) and Paolo “Dr. Phibes” Caucci (guitars) are The Silent Senders. This is an original musical project (produced by Audiosfera for exMachina Records), proposing a powerful mix of electronic and alternative rock music, that becomes almost a commentary to short, imaginary movies: TSS’ music is charming, sincere, an utter soundtrack, creating the right atmosphere for a surreal story with few introductive notes. On the ground oh TSS’ music is a choice of non-conformity with any trendy music genre or commercial law; in this way avoiding to wink at the mass market, the two musicians obtain to express themselves exclusively accordingly to their musical preferences. Synths, samplers, beat machines and guitars merge harmoniously in complex, multilayer sonorities, with raids in structured electronics or in acoustic manipulation. The audience is carried away to new musical scenes and surrounded by rich sound environments creatd by imaginary dialogues, micro-sonorities and irregular, pressing rhytmics. The tracks included in TSS’ albums are, consciously, very different from one another: electro-acoustic, industrial, progressive rock or musique concrete, with pop, folk, jazz, even metal contaminations. TSS build a clever music using every one of these musical kind as bricks: it’s not an easy listening, but the audience is thus stimulated by ever new feelings.

Search | Add | 7 | Lily Pond Orchestra | Douglas JP Lee | Lily Pond Orchestra is an ambient/space music project of Douglas JP Lee (1953-2011) - self-taught musician, guitarist and composer from Massachusetts, USA. Douglas started playing guitar at the age of 9, inspired by The Beatles, and at the age of 13 he was already playing in his first band. His interest in electronic music evolved from "Forbidden Planet" movie, which he saw in childhood. By the mid 1970's, Lee was already experimenting with electronic sounds and tape manipulations, but most of his ambient was created much later, already in the digital age, since he was mostly using software synthesizers to compose and record his music (referring to himself as a "MIDIdiot"). Among his inspirations Douglas was mentioning The Beatles, 60's San Francisco and European prog bands, Charles Ives, John Cage, Edgar Varèse, Krzysztof Penderecki, Brian Eno, Terry Riley, etc. Douglas JP Lee died suddenly on April 5, 2011 at the hospital. Some of his albums are released by Earth Mantra net-label, and many archived stuff is available for downloading at his official website. |
