Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026

Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Flyaway Minion Flyaway Minion is a force to be reckoned with! Hailing from Dayton, OH, these gentlemen live, sleep, eat, and dream in avid rock and roll reverence. With a classic rock meets indie rock ethos, Tim Pritchard, Patrick Himes, Adam Edwards, Brian Hoeflich, and Brian Greaney are five seasoned musicians who are not afraid to explore the space. Their recently released debut album Fair Travels showcases everything from powerpop, americana, soul, and indie, yet never leaves you wondering what happened to good old rock and roll. Recorded entirely at Team Evil Studios in Dayton, and mastered by Jim Demaine at Yes Master studios in Nashville, TN, this twelve song LP is nothing short of a professional release. Live, these songs suffer no hacksaw or cleaver. Flyaway Minion's five member lineup and arsenal of both new and vintage equipment create the only kind of sound scape appropriate for their energetic stage performance. Playing along side such notable national acts such as The Bloodthirsty Lovers, Flesh Vehicle, The Only Children, The Slackers,Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Bishop Allen, and Maritime, Flyaway Minion has established a sturdy fanbase that continues to multiply at an impressive rate. Fans return expecting big guitar rock enhanced by leslie driven organ, synths, piano, theramin, various percussive tools, and fully developed vocal harmonies. No pretensions, no shame, no excuses. This is rock and roll! credits

Search Add 2 Fiona Melady Musician and writer Fiona Melady first appeared on the music scene as keyboard player in acclaimed rock band TURN playing alongside her brother Ian. Fiona’s voice may sound familiar - she was the voice of the Bulmers/Magners Christmas TV ad campaign 2007/8 singing a cover of “Apple Tree”. Fiona has worked with many highly acclaimed artists and over the last couple of years she has also been writing, arranging and recording her debut album “THE FEAR I FEAR”. The album is largely piano / keyboard driven and slides between brooding, soulful tracks to pure pop! “…………a mix of smokey 80’s synth-chic and edgy jazz lounge wrap a voice that’s true with cool assurance” (Eamon Carr) “………songs that could easily make Melady Ireland’s next big daytime radio star……these are chart hits in the making.” (Hot Press) "Melady may have come first to our attention playing keyboards with Turn, but her solo guise is a much more intriguing proposition... her debut album is a collection of impressive songs, based around her piano and soulful voice, but with a few left turns thrown in for good measure" - STATE MAGAZINE

Search Add 2 Fred E.T. Frederick Euzaleus Thomas Frederick Euzaleus Thomas, a dependent of a military family who would eventually settle in Henry County, GA, just thirty minutes south of Atlanta. The artist & lyrical phenom fuses the sounds of traditional, modern hip-hop, flashes of neo-soul, carried to the rhythm and flow of a southern bounce. He's absorbed many influences and knowledge from the lineage of OutKast, Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, Ab-Soul, The Cool Kids, Isaiah Rashad, Mos Def, Lupe Fiasco, Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, Kanye West, and many more. He is also one half of the duo 4rf.Q with good friend and producer, Promise, formerly known as Satchmo. The genesis of Fred E.T. begins with the personal milestone in a debut musical project named, "God Got A Funny Way Of Showin' It!" Not only does he have his foot in the rap aspect of art, but he's known to be the creative mind behind directing his own videos and a little bit on the boards with the instrumentals. The unpredictable style of Fred E.T. invites people into his world to further alienate himself, but relate to so many.

Search Add 2 Bo Balderson During the years 1968-1990, the pen-name Bo Balderson published eleven detective novels. The quality of the detective mysteries can be said to be average, but the easy and elegant style, the farcical action, the witty metafors and the wicked satire upon Swedish politics and cultural life resulted in great selling successes. Over the years, more than eighty different persons were pointed out as the author, but the identity of Balderson has never been revealed nor convincingly clarified. One of the main ideas has been that the author was a conservative person with some relation to Swedish politics or political administration. However, no thorough comparative analysis has ever been carried out wich sets out to relate Balderson's works to these of any other author.
