Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Tripadur | Danish underground folk band who according to themselves play "trippy folk music with elements of medieval and renaissance and a twist of modern genres". Thus their name is a portmanteau of the words "trippy" and "trubadur". In their early days they called themselves Xenu Ruptur, but gave it up because it was too difficult for people to pronounce and understand. It was an obscure reference to the mythology of Scientology.

Search | Add | 2 | Elen Diana | Elen Diana | Elen Diana, born in São Paulo in the neighborhood of Lapa on September 20, 1981, was raised in a Christian home and until then taught in the ways of the Lord by her parents who already sang and who had already consecrated themselves as great names in gospel music, Jorge Araújo and Eula Paula. A year later his sister Suelen was born, then Daniela and Jorginho. Since she was born she never hid her admiration for singing and her parents decided to put her participation in three hymns in one of her works. At just four years old, Elen Diana was recording for the first time. As a result of the repercussion of the work in 1988 Jorge and Eula then decided to record a children's album with Elen and her brothers "Vamos Louvar a Jeová" which was already called "turma do noisy" by the brothers of the church where they congregated, and so Eula decided to put the name of the group Turma do Barulho. The success was inevitable because the Turma do Barulho was everything that parents, children, churches expected, and the hymn "Vamos Louvar a Jeová" (Let's Praise Jehovah) is still sung by children all over the world. Turma do Barulho is undoubtedly the most popular Portuguese-language gospel children's group in the world and, like their parents Jorge and Eula, are part of the history of Brazilian gospel music. Elen Diana started composing when she was 12 years old. Her lyrics expressed the new phase, the entry into adolescence, with happy rhythms and lyrics, which were beginning to be part of the Turma do Barulho repertoire. Her dedication did not stop there. As she grew older and understood the importance of the work she developed with children along with her siblings, she decided to take a pedagogy course to make the work even more serious. In 2000, the family decided to set up a Recording Studio, Studio Nova Geração, which today is one of the main studios in São Paulo, since music was everyone's life. With that, everyone's potential was further enhanced, an example of this is Jorginho, his younger brother, who today is the main arranger of the studio, having even worked on an album by Shirley Carvalhaes. Elen Diana continued to compose hymns for the Turma do Barulho, but, at the same time, began to compose more mature lyrics as each phase of her life influences her compositions, making it clear that this is one of her main characteristics as a composer. He then began to show the novelty and his mother, who is his confidant and best friend, who had not recorded for seven years, because with the travels, and also dissatisfied with the compositions that appeared, then decided to launch her daughter as a composer also of the genre, as he did with several composers. Again it worked, and had repercussions all over the world, United States, Japan, Europe, Canada, with that Elen Diana became more confident and decided that it was time to release her first solo cd, as she felt the need to reach young and adult audiences as well. . Everything was in her favor, and she took it as a sign from God that this really was the right time. Her brother Jorginho Araújo was the arranger of the CD, and Elen Diana the music producer of the CD. Everything went very well, but all under the experienced eye of father Jorge Araújo, who has been a producer for over 30 years. |

Search | Add | 2 | (un)SAID | Hailing from Colorado, this all-original alt-metal band was formed in 2004 by Danny (guitar) and Golf (drums). Dedicated to writing interesting and thought-provoking music, the duo worked tirelessly and eventually recorded a 13-song instrumental demo. After going through several failed auditions, the band stumbled upon Jeremy online and during the first song of his audition, it was easy for all to see that he was a perfect match. Jeremy brought menacing, honest, and intelligent lyrics to the table and was equally strong at melody and brutality. Soon after, the band released their "Scars Resurfaced" 4-song demo. With the bass duty help of friend Nick Cirullo, (un)SAID hit the Denver bar scene hard and the band's confidence, musicianship, and stage performances continued to improve. Since moving to Florida in October 2005, the band had been through mulitple member changes. In September '07 (un)SAID saw the return of Nick to the lineup as he made the move from Colorado to Orlando to become a permanent member in the group. (un)SAID completed the team by acquiring Don Cadman (Holotype) on drums and Josh Gorsch (3rd Limb, Nilmorta) as a second guitarist. With the current lineup (un)SAID now continues to be a proven unified force. Hoping to gain national exposure and add to their growing fanbase, (un)SAID's goal is to write the best music possible and to maintain integrity by following their own artistic vision.

Search | Add | 2 | Introspektivet | INTROSPEKTIVET northern Swedish melancholy meet the backstreets of Berlin. After 2 singles and a video during the winter and spring 2020 the time has come for INTROSPEKTIVET to release the full lenght solodebut after years fronting the band [a5945207] (Stars Of The Silverscreen) that toured Germany and Europe. The 12 songs on the album is a journey past broken souls, victims of the capitalistic society. Seduction like poison, a longing for some light in all the darkness. Musically voices has described INTROSPEKTIVET to have roots in Swedish music history where you can sense bands like Thåström, Imperiet and sometimes Freddie Wadling mixed down with flavours of Joe Strummer and Nick Cave, creating a unique taste. A taste where the focus is on the curiosity to explore different soundscapes in music and with lyrics that feels like poetry in a way, more than your classic rocklyric. Where thoughts may be thought clearly and get more room than what fit in on Twitter. Yet, the core is always the nerve of PUNK, a state of melancholy and catching the beauty in the little things. So welcome to an introvert's reflections of our present

Brad began his musical career in the late 60's playing in a rock and roll band called The Persian Market which featured Keith Thibodeaux (Little Ricky of 'I Love Lucy' fame) on drums. The band enjoyed regional popularity in Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi. In 1969, Brad became a solo act and exited the decade with a performance at Luxembourg Gardens in Paris, France. Performing has taken Brad from his roots in Louisiana to cities in Europe, and these musical experiences have given him new ways to let people hear and feel where he's coming from. Other than jamming occasionally with family and friends, Brad left his music behind in 1973 to pursue a different career and raise a family.

Search | Add | 2 | Ottmar Hörl | Ottmar Hörl (b. 1950) is a German conceptual artist, known for his sculptures, installations, actions, photography, and objects. He achieved worldwide popularity due to his radical, avantgarde art concepts as well as large-scale projects featuring serial sculptures in public spaces, based on his distinctive definition of sculpture as an organisational principle. He is considered an "offensive and direct strategist campaigning for a new type of public art“ and the most successful artist creating multiples, implementing his vision of art for everyone and promoting the democratisation of sculpture like no other so far. "As an artist, I have to develop an idea that goes beyond just setting a little mould down somewhere. The idea must attempt to put contemporary thinking into a nutshell and people can start building their own personal structure from there."
