Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Conducted by AimA Lichtblau (Les Jumeaux Discordants, Allerseelen), Evor Ameisie (NRTHGTE, DDeM Label, Camerata Mediolanense) and Diego Cinquegrana, the Caverna delle Rose project draws an anthropologically coherent sound bridge between ancient practices and beliefs and contemporaneity.

And, come on, what's deeper than space? De Dormitor stands for two things: first, our netlabel, and the second, an alias that we use to mysteriously release either solo or collab work under the same name, when we want to. Search | Add | 6 | Anders Monrad | Danish composer of modern classical music Anders Monrad (b. 1981) began playing the piano at the age of 6, and started composing as a teenager. Monrad received his undergraduate degree from Copenhagen University and Business School. Since 2006 he has studied composition at The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen under Bent Sørensen, Hans Abrahamsen, Niels Rosing-Schow and Hans Peter Stubbe Teglbjærg. As a composer Monrad gets his inspiration from different musical genres and conventions, and he is an avid collector of obscure old LP`s - with tastes ranging from early electronic music, and psychedelic rock to various kitsch genres. He is very inspired by the American composer John Zorn, whose poly-stylistic approach and rejection of the dichotomy between “High Brow” and “Low Brow” culture stands, Monrad sees as one of the most important developments in late 20th century musical aesthetics. In addition to composition, Monrad is active as a painter, music critic and writer.

Search | Add | 6 | Three Blonde Mice | The Three Blond Mice started out as three blond teenage girls who often performed on the Gene Carroll Show, a Cleveland TV variety show that included amateur and semi-professional musicians and dancers. The original three were Mary Lou Mural, Sandy Mooney, and Ramona (Mona) Garcia. In 1965, the group was renamed [a1777426], with new member Bonnie Racin replacing Mary. This group released a 45 on Ascot. Over the next several years, the group had some different members and eventually as the girls grew up the group became dormant. Sometime around 1972 the group was reactivated with Sandy and Ramona and new third member. called. They restarted as The Promises, and a new record deal with [l14624]. Their first record was a gender changed remake of a lesser [a17970] hit called "Living in the Footsteps of Another Man". This record got some airplay in Cleveland and other cities, and Brunswick (on their BRC subsidiary) released a second 45 of similar quality smooth soul-ish sounds. The song "This Love Is Real" was a remake of a Jackie Wilson recording. This was their last 45, though. There has been rumours that an LP was recorded but nothing to verify that it was ever completed.

Search | Add | 6 | Aaron Deponce | Aaron Hilliard | Singer, Songwriter & Entertainer, Aaron Deponce, is making his presence felt in the music industry with his smooth, sultry voice and high energy-packed performances. DePonce is a gifted, innovative, and influential music figure who started singing at the age of 5 in Indianapolis, Indiana. At age 16, his singing talents soon became obvious to industry heavy hitters, Darryl Simmons, Kenneth "Baby Face "Edmonds, and Antonio "L.A. "Reid. In 1992, they quickly signed him to Laface Records as a member of the R&B group, "A FEW GOOD MEN". The group first appeared on The LaFace Family Christmas album in 1993 singing their very own rendition of "Silver Bells", which still to date is played in heavy rotation, getting us in the Christmas spirit each and every year. The group's debut album, "Take a Dip", featured two successful singles 'Tonite' and 'Have I Never.' The Babyface produced, 'Have I Never', was the group's biggest success, reaching #32 on the R&B charts and #76 on the Hot 100. The Dallas Austin produced, 'Tonite', managed to reach #44 on the R&B charts. Unfortunately, due to front office reconstruction at the record label, their project didn't receive the necessary support it needed. In 1997 the group disbanded, and in 1999 DePonce signed to an independent recording label, Imperium Records, in Miami, Florida. His solo debut album, "From My Window", which spawned the songs "Just The Way You Are", and "Tight-Tight", opened his eyes to all the benefits of controlling his vision and reaping the many rewards of doing so. After a successful solo debut, DePonce decided to take his career in his own hands and create NEW MERGE, Inc., which released the labels first album, "Devotion", in 2005. Aaron Deponce then realized that by using the power of internet sales with networks such as MySpace & CD Baby, he could connect with distribution companies in other countries. His music began to reach audiences as far as Japan, Europe and Africa. In 2007, while in Atlanta, Georgia working with other recording artists signed to Usher Raymond's manager, J.Pat, he gained the attention of Terrence"T-Low"Brown & Robert"RL"Huggar, both members of the Multi Platinum R&B Trio "NEXT". With the third member no longer a part of the group, DePonce was given the opportunity to fill that void. Touring and eventually recording with "NEXT", he never stopped perfecting his craft as a solo artist. Because of his driven personality, and his strong desire to succeed, he wasted no time in recording his new album, "HEREAFTER", set to be released Aug 18, 2011. His resume of career achievements not only includes singing, songwriting, and production, but he also possesses extensive knowledge and experience in sales, marketing and promotions. Aaron Deponce's wide variety of talents and gifts has enabled him to reinvent himself and stay relevant in today's music industry. |

Search | Add | 6 | Wouda | Wouter Brandenburg | While Wouda’s debut release might be tucked away at the back of the label’s catalogue, the sunny bounce of Bum On The Carpet’s ‘Mood Swing’ 12” is what kick-started the whole Dopeness Galore adventure. Already studying audio engineering and mastering, Wouda knew he wanted to work with sounds at an early age. But it was the urge to craft a simple combination of live-sounding MPC and Rhodes that formed the idea behind the single. In true DIY-style, Wouda pressed it up onto vinyl and dealt it out by hand until they were all gone. While running the label has meant that Wouda’s time on the MPC has taken a back seat, his production vision has only gotten wider. Taking inspiration from visionary greats like Prince, Quincy Jones, Fela Kuti, Theo Parrish, King Tubby, and Larry Levan, he’s dead set on a mission to seek out the heavy blissful vibes, whoever makes them. |

Search | Add | 6 | Don Conreaux | Master of masters and father of Gong ,Don Conreaux is known not only as an exceptional artist and musician, but also as a pioneer in the field of sound therapy. Don studied theater, was the main teacher and director of teacher training for Kundalini. Having 55 years of experience in yoga and sound, he teaches his own method called Gong Yoga, which is a set of regeneration and strengthening exercises. He is the creator of La Voie du Gong. Wandering around the world, he discovers for others the wonderful properties of the gong, which by its holistic resonance has a huge impact on the body, mind and soul. The sound therapies used to improve health, reduce stress and internal changes are currently disseminated by many participants in its seminars and workshops. The artist is also known for his peace activities. Each year, it organizes a concert of the Artists of the World. He describes his music as free and spiritual jazz. He is the founder and leader of the music group Mysterious Tremendum. In concert, in addition to gongs, he uses voice, shruti, shells and other ethnic instruments. The concerts - like the one presented on the album - are attended by guest musicians who accompany Don in musical improvisation. Don is also the initiator of the Bell Garden for Peace. These are areas of peace and calm in which space is organized according to ancient geomancy and geometry.

Search | Add | 6 | Thirst Things First | Six humans from Lincoln, Nebraska, United States, World, one Joint Operative Robotic Drummer (or J.O.R.D.,) and a pre-taped transmission overlord named BOOT:\\ make up the octet known as Thirst Things First. The result is a live drinking game of antics a-la Max Headroom and wacky sci-fi/new wave/punk rock. Armed to the teeth with a stacked line-up of Nebraska heavy hitters such as Criteria, Straight Outta Junior High, the JV Allstars, Maria Taylor, the Killigans, Histrionic and Universe Contest, Team TTF blends the technical babble of Devo with heavy Vandals style punk rock and the vocalist duties of the Human League. Their mission of OIL awareness, (which is any human beverage or currency,) steers a tongue-in-cheek binge drinking marathon for the supergroup and concert attendees, all under the direct supervision of an interactive television program hosted by BOOT:\\ himself.
