Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 6 | Фиолетовый Холст | Hard Rock Band from Samara, Russia. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Sal V | Sal V | DJ/Producer addicted to music. With over 20 years rocking the turntables under his belt, there is no mistaking his skills. Whether it's events, clubs or radio shows, Sal V is known for flawless mixing and eclectic music styles, always at the top of his game knowing what to play and when to play it. Originally from Oxnard, California, his love for music began as a child, watching and learning from local 805 DJs. It wasn't long before he bought his first pair of Technics 1200's, built a record library and went straight to work under the moniker DJ Maclon. Working with numerous promoters, he toured for years sharing the stage with superstar DJ's and guest mixing on several radio stations throughout California. Not satisfied with just spinning other people's tracks, he took the next step venturing into production under the new stage name Sal V. His first productions were picked up by local labels Hardstep Records and Fussion Groove, then licensed on several DJ mixed compilation CD's. In the following years he continued producing and remixing, releasing tracks under his own label Full Effect Recordings. In 2006, Sal V joined KRAJ 100.9 The HEAT FM as Mixshow Coordinator, DJ and Producer of several shows including his own project: The Launch Mixshow. Sponsored by Native Instruments' Traktor Scratch, the show featured the best in Electronic Dance Music with Sal V as Host, DJ and Producer along with special guest DJs from around the globe. This recent surge in House Music has Sal V hard at work in the studio along with co-producer Jay Wes on new productions and back out on stage for clubs and events. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Otto Goritz | Otto Dietrich Robert Goritz | German opera singer (baritone) and actor, born on June 8, 1872, in Berlin, Germany, died on April 12, 1929, in Hamburg, Germany. Goritz made his debut in 1895 as Matteo in "Fra Diavolo" at the Court Theatre in Neustrelitz, Mecklenburg. He later sang in Breslau and Hamburg. Goritz then received a contract with the Metropolitan Opera in New York City, where he performed in 25 operas (mostly German, 1 Italian) between 1903 and 1917, including the leading Wagnerian baritone roles. His greatest success was as Beckmesser in Wagner's "Meistersinger." When the United States joined World War I, the opera stopped performing its German repertory. Goritz was forced to resign, not least because of a rumor that he had sung a parodic song on the sinking of the RMS "Lusitania" at a private party on New Year's Eve 1916. He remained, however, in the United States. In 1919, after the war had ended, Goritz founded the Star Opera Company. The company tried to perform at the Lexington Opera House in German, but a riot on opening night and protests by the American Legion forced it to disband. In 1920 Goritz returned to Hamburg (1921/22), where he continued to sing at the State Opera House and later at the Grosse Volksoper in Berlin (1922–1925). |

| Search | Add | 6 | Sebastian Essene | Sebastian Essene, a Nottingham-based music producer and experimental DJ, creates spiritually oriented electronic music deeply rooted in esoteric, mystical, and occult traditions. His work draws inspiration from the worlds of surrealism, transcendental philosophy, and metaphysical exploration, resulting in a unique blend of sound and spirit. His compositions, often ambient and experimental, reflect an eclectic approach to sound, weaving together spiritual exploration with avant-garde musical structures. Sebastian’s DJing focuses on creating the atmosphere of a sacred, ethereal space—evoking the void, a sense of depth, longing, and nostalgia for the ineffable. His music conjures immersive soundscapes that blend the mystical with the modern, guiding his audience through a ritualistic experience of sound and spirit. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Eugene Brosnan | Eugene Brosnan | EUGENE BROSNAN grew up in the rural/industrial town of Millstreet in County Cork. His mother, possessing a beautiful singing voice was well known in the locality for herchoir work and her participation in many musicals. His father, though not a performer had a love of music and introduced the young boy to Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash, to this day huge influences on his music. Though geographically close to the traditional music stronghold of Sliabh Luachra, this brand of music did not rub off on the young musician. Instead, large doses of Rory Gallagher, Thin Lizzy and other pop rock and punk music were administered. Under these influences Brosnan left his native Ireland at the age of 18, guitar in tow and took to the streets, pubs and café bars of various towns and cities throughout Europe where he developed on his musical style by busking and gigging. In 1996 Eugene released his debut CD, "Well he said he'd be here!" to critical acclaim. Songs like Darwin Sound and I Can't Imagine marking him out as a very promising and creative young songwriter. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Dél-Alföldi Saxophone Ensemble | The ensemble was formed by three young sax-players in 1992, all born and, by and large, still living in the Southern and South-Eastern end of the Great Hungarian Plains. In fact they derive their name from the region of their birth. ("Dél-alföldi" means "of the Southern Plains"). Their common ground is not just a matter of geography, although geography matters too because the corner of Hungary they come from practically borders on the Balkans and that is also something that you can hear in their music. The present personnel crystallized in 1997. Their repertoire includes folk arrangements, traditional pieces, and jazzy, almost danceable compositions with their roots in the rhythmic world of Hungarian and Eastern European folk music and jazz. Their musical choices are illustrated by their instruments too: the bag pipe, the hit gardon (a percussion instrument resembling the shape of a cello), traditional recorders, and the "körtemuzsika" (a special Hungarian flute) are in their arsenal just as well as a unique vocal effect called tuva singing. In the singular compositional concepts of the three saxophonists just as in the free parts one can point out highly individual ideas. However, the influence of Mihály Dresch’s and György Szabados’ music on their approach is undeniable. Members of the band: Béla Ágoston - vocal/saxophone/clarinet Róbert Benkő - double bass Béla Pöcök Burány - saxophon Tamás Geröly - drums Balázs Dongó Szokolay - saxophon/flute/clarinet Discography: 1997. In 1963 he opened [l992901]. Died 2009 A new era for British television was ushered in on September 22 1955 when viewers in London were offered an alternative to the BBC. Associated Rediffusion and the Associated Broadcasting Company were commercial stations and carried advertising. Now we take for granted the fact that almost every advert has a music track that helps sell the product. Back in the summer of 1955 British advertising agencies were just coming to terms with the concept. The first agency to specially record a piece of music for an ad was J. Walter Thompson on Monday August 1 1955 when George Browne and his Calypso-Mambo Band recorded a one-minute song for use on a pilot commercial. Besides George, who played the guitar and sang, there was Curly Clayton who also played guitar and Pat Ryan on bongos. Seven years later, on October 27, two weeks after the Beatles Love Me Do entered the charts; the fledgling Rolling Stones recorded three songs at Curly Clayton's studio near Arsenal's football ground. The songs were made into a demo disc that was sent to EMI and Decca who, along with everyone else, rejected the band for a recording contract. Curly, was paid £3 for that first session. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Deerborn | Deerborn is a new project on the danish music scene exploring the lines between folk rock and alt. country. The band consists of members from Odense and Copenhagen. With a background in bands like Rock Hard Power Spray and Ave, it is clear that we deal with musicians who have something on their minds and they know what it takes to get it through to the audience. Their sound leans towards old favourites like Neil Young, Pearl Jam and My Morning Jacket. With great melody pieces from both guitar, moog and violin they embrace a playful and very exciting universe all wrapped up a very distinct sound. The energy that shines through the band’s live concerts is rather unique and has a certain way of drawing in the listeners and taking them on a journey through the whole spectre of emotions. The debut album will be released February 19th, 2016. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Banda Show Sinfonica Sunicancha Huarochiri | Peruvian brass band founded in 1957 which was led by saxophonist Anatolio Pomalia Chuquihuaringa. Over the years the name of the band changed from Banda Sinfonica De Sunicancha to different variations, such as Banda Show Sinfonica Sunicancha Huarochiri. Eventually it became known as "Banda Papá", because multiple other bands sprung from its original lineups. The group originated in the small settlement of Sunicancha, which has just over 800 inhabitants, but more than 9 different brass bands. The group's style is considered a fusion of the style of the Yauya district and the typical saxophone led arrangements of the Mantaro Valley. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Valentina Vuksic | Valentina Vuksic is a computer artist and programmer based in Zürich. Her work is a personal exploration of the possibilities afforded by articulated hard- and software mediation. She approaches computer systems via inductive microphones for magnetic fields, so-called “telephone adapters." With choreographies for software and computer elements, she utilizes these as actors in software/noise pieces for, and in, computers. Vuksic considers time and space of computer processor and memory as levels of reality. Software being processed creates own temporal and spatial dimensions, which are staged for a public. She aims for a sensual experience of the analytical sphere becoming concrete, where logic encounters the physical world. The mechanic noises serve as mediators to a public. They reveal in an immediate way the activities taking place between computer processes in the widest sense and the computer electronics they are running on. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Comer Mullins | Traditional-style guitar-banjo player based in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Comer "Moon" Mullins (he was given that nickname while serving in the Air Force) was born on May 11, 1916 in Sassafrass, Kentucky. His father worked in the coal mines, and the family was large (12 children). Mullins bought his first guitar around the of 12, after being inspired by a movie featuring "The Singing Cowboy," Gene Autry. He developed a unique thumbpicking stye where the thumb played the bass line, the index finger picked the lead line, the middle finger added a tenor line, and the ring finger added alto. This technique allowed for fuller "ragtime"-type harmonies, and he made an instructional tape that was available through Mel Bay Publications. He was a member of the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, and performed frequently at the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View, Arkansas. Mr. Mullins died from leukemia on March 16, 2016. | |
