Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | The Holy Ghostriders | In case you don't know, punk is not dead. Listening to the mall pop shit you hear on the radio or TV isn't punk, not even close. I am pretty sure that is pop, or poop if you will. The Holy Ghostriders make genuine rock that will make the godfathers of punk proud; music with feeling and emotion. You can almost hear the blood coming out of their amps. Those aren't vocals you hear, it is sweat, amplified through a mic. Those aren't drums, that is the sound of hard work and slaving away in your personal jail - time spent in captivity - all so you can go out and get fucked up to forget the shitty life you lead. Punk like The Holy Ghostriders is pure, heartfelt and tough as nails, something with some balls. Fast Track Heart Attack is the blazing debut album from Minneapolis's The Holy Ghostriders. It is an action packed, alcohol-fueled slab of punk rock. Sing along anthems and fist pumping jams will keep this record in your rotation for quite some time, or until you pass out. The band comes from the ashes of two of the Twin Cities best hard-core acts, Holding On and Martyr AD. The passion and fury from the boy's previous ventures is very apparent on Fast Track Heart Attack. This time around, it is more of a party, adding a pop flair to their hard-core roots. Combining speed with hot guitar licks, and sing along opportunities, the Ghostriders keep the sweat pouring throughout the twelve cuts on Fast Track Heart Attack.

Search | Add | 2 | Skalibur (2) | Heavy Metal Group that was formed in 1982. Its founders are Guillermo Valverde and Carlos Illescas, who met at the Cdla. October 9 The first trials were with the sporadic tutelage of the ABRAXAS. Months later, Carlos, who played as bassist, suffered a traffic accident that would deny his existence. More the band decides to desist from the rock scene. The desire to play Metal and honor Carlos, unites them this time with Iván Illescas (Brother of Carlos). Among its members were Juan Carranza (Voz) and Miguel Viteri (Guitar), who were in musical dilemmas since their artistic differences were noticeable, all this due to the TRASH METAL, Reigning style of the Epoch (brought by bassist J. Alza of the United States). M. Viteri is the one that separates from Demolición, to form along with L. Cotto, X. Cornejo, I. Wong the band SKULL, which composed basic themes for what later would be Skalibur. J. Carranza also leaves Demolición and comes in contact with I. Illescas, Valverde and V. Chiriboga. Although according to their musical tendencies they lacked another guitarist, this vacancy would be filled by M. Viteri (Suggestion by J. Carranza). They started playing covers and managed to break out quickly. It should be noted that Valverde ventures into the double bass influenced by groups such as Queensrÿche, Illescas by its side influenced by Iron Maiden, this basis of their live performances that marked a separate point of Latin Rock widespread in universities and festivals. We emphasize the support in those times of Dante López, who was also manager of BLAZE, facilitated the facilities of the Santa Fe School, Skalibur's concentration place. Another rocker, Fernando Navarrete, Animator of the High Voltage Program also gave logistical support to the band and the rock scene in general. Already in the 90's gears would be lost; giving his collaboration R. Gómezcuello (guitarist) and X. Román (drums). With this training he recorded the song Seekin Blood. Then he was separated from the Iván Illescas group, from here the Calvary Era with the Bass players began, collaborating with X. Guerra (ex_ Abraxas), Luis Quiroga (ex_ Spectrum Line). In addition Daniel Vargas (Guitar) joins the group. Daniel and Luis were fundamental musicians, even composing "El Vuelo del Dragón" and "Provocación". Guitars being a great duo. Soon Xavier Román leaves the band and enters a very well recommended by L. Piedra (Demolición), Marcelo Wilkins. But then he decides to join the Civil Pilots. Then re-enters G. Valverde and commit to record the Demo _ tape, which contained topics such as Skalibur, The Flight of the Dragon, Fatal Destiny, Provocation, Andromeda, etc .. But before Daniel Vargas would undertake a trip to Chile due to his studies In addition, Luis Quiroga travels to Miami. His replacements were Francisco Aguirre and Fabricio Chevasco.

Search | Add | 2 | The Painted Hearts | Australian band, formed in 2005, originally based in Canberra, ACT, relocated to Melbourne. The Painted Hearts were formed in Canberra, Australia in 2005. P.R.Davis sang, played guitar and wrote the songs, Matt Nightingale (later of The Wedded Bliss, Heath Cullen band) played electric upright bass and Kevin Nicol (Noiseworks) played drums. Owen Andrews was recruited to play bass following Nightingale's departure from the band in March 2007. By 2011 Nightingale had re-joined and drums were played by Mike Oakley. Rick Millband took over the drum chair in 2012. The Melbourne based lineup consists of Davis, John Milton (drums), Zoe Frater (bass) and Matt Dixon (guitar). Essentially a live band, improvisational and loose, the self-titled debut album The Painted Hearts was recorded somewhat characteristically in one - whatever goes down goes down - session at Infidel Studios, Queanbeyan in September, 2007 and released in 2008. The second album Volume 2 released in 2011, was recorded in pretty much the same spirit albeit with more of an acoustic sound and sensibility, again relatively quickly over two sessions - this time at Canberra's Cowperson Lounge, through just two microphones. Matt Nightingale rejoined the band on double bass for the Volume 2 sessions and Mike Oakley played drums. The third album, Volume 3, was tracked live once again at Cowperson Lounge in 2014 with basically the same approach, though with the use of a few more mics than the two used on the Volume 2 sessions. Davis and Nightingale are joined by Rick Millband on drums for these sessions.
