Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | Concave Scream | Singapore rock band Concave Scream paved the way for other homegrown bands, particularly amid the country's fledgling indie rock scene. Founded in 1994 by schoolmates Sean Lam (lead vocals, guitar) and Pann Lim (lead guitar, vocals), the band released its self-financed, self-titled debut album in 1995 and saw it catch on steadily among English-language rock listeners in Singapore, especially among critics. The growing buzz about Concave Scream led to the breakthrough success of their second album, Erratic (1997), which spawned several radio hits and elevated the band to the top of Singapore's rock scene. Three (1999) continued the band's success, but it would be a long seven years before Concave Scream returned with their fourth album, Horizons (2006), a return to-roots effort on EMI Singapore. Their fifth and final album, Soundtrack For A Book, an instrumental album that was once again self-released, would follow in 2009. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Mc Ap | Alfredo Urbina Basulto | Mc Ap (Mc Aztekpride) was born in Mexico City in May of 1988. He has loved music all of his life. Giving support and experience, his father showed him different kinds of music and at the age of 13, Mc Ap began writing. His introduction to hip-hop was break dancing, graffitti, DJ'ing, and eventually MC'ing. His first album "Destructive Force," was an introduction of horrorcore rap to Mexico. It became a huge success. There weren't many horrorcore rappers in Mexico, but because of his interest in the sub-genre that differs from many, he stuck with it... adding his own twist, of course. Next, the album "Brutal Kingdom" was released with a pure horrorcore approach. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Nick Syrett | As a teenager growing up in the United Kingdom, Nick discovered his own world of music through the piano, finding that he could “just play” and that music would pour forth as his fingers touched the keys—without a musical thought in his head beforehand. Later in life he began recording these spontaneous compositions and released a well-received trilogy of piano instrumental albums under the name Solitude. Nick’s latest release, Refuge is a collection of meditative, neo-classical instrumentals featuring the soothing sounds of string ensembles, choirs, and more, all built around his spontaneous piano solos. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Dorian Passante | Kenneth Dorian Passante | Originally released in 1977 but apparently recorded at least a couple years before, the “Dorian” LP was supposed to launch Dorian (Kenneth Dorian Passante, 1948-1994) as a glam rock artist. The name Dorian Zero (with different variations such as Dorian & Zero, Dorian Zero Revue and so on) was his band name, but seems to also stick to his own persona. The album and a single taken from it were also documented by John Holmstrom in a memorable – and disastrous – inteview on Punk Magazine #14 (1978). Omitting to credit the other musicians involved in the making of the LP – including guitarist [a=Jeff Beck] on “Destination Nowhere” and “Inside Looking Out” – Dorian declared on the original album cover “I have no one to thank for this album but myself”. Before recording the album, Dorian had been on an elusive 7" single released in 1969 by [l=B.T. Puppy Records], the record label founded by [a=The Tokens], with a track written by [a=Brute Force (2)] ([a=Stephen Friedland]). Other tracks were only fixed on acetates and remained unreleased. Some are entirely lost. In 2022, a previously unreleased reggae track from 1975, "In Transit to Bermuda", recorded at [l=Electric Lady Studios] by [a=Eddie Kramer], was included in Episode 3 of Stranger Things 4 (Vol.1) and in the Stranger Things Official Playlist. |

Perhaps the most distinguished figure in the history of the cuatro instrument, and as well, one of the most distinguished Puerto Rican musician of all times, was Ladislao Martínez Otero, known as Maestro Ladí. He created a new way of listening to the cuatro. He came to compose, especially for the cuatro, around 1,500 musical pieces, among them danzas, mazurcas, valses, South American genres, even rock and bossa nova. By choosing the ten-string cuatro as his preferred instrument--playing it on the radio and thus being heard around the Island up until the end of the 1930s--he is thought to have precipitated the decline and eventual disappearance of the old four and eight-string variants across the Island. Ladí inspired generations of master cuatristas who followed him, who consider him the "trunk of the tree of cuatro musicians." The venerated Puerto Rican interpreter and composer was born in the Espinosa sector of, the child of simple country-folk. |
