Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

As a solo project, he created a nine level quadratic residue diffuser, also for acoustic treatment for mid range frequencies. Search | Add | 6 | Leg-No | Christian Legno | Berlin-based Leg-No is quickly becoming one of the most exciting names in House music. “ ... Unique, bouncy, fresh, colourful and exuberant on the dancefloor” (Rote Raupe) The Italian-born DJ, producer and label-owner has a long history of passionate music production, releasing his first visionary EP at the tender age of 19, remixing artists like Beastie Boys, Mos Def and Clipse. While living in London and soaking up its unique brand of Hip-Hop, an insatiable evolutionary drive took Leg-No from mastering Techno and Rave to delving into the groove and bounce of new House. “ ...In his productions you can recognize a really cool fresh and bouncy housey touch. He moved first to London and then Berlin to join his friends Mowgli, Solo and Rivastarr. If I had to compare his music to one of them, I will not hesitate to say Rivastarr.” (High Maintenance) |

Search | Add | 6 | Christopher Cash | Fallbrook, California Desc: Born in Pasadena, California in the late fifties, Cash grew up along side rock music. As a boy, he watched The Beatles perform on Ed Sullivan and joined the ranks of their countless fans throughout the turbulent Sixties. Inspired by artists like David Bowie, Neal Young, and Lou Reed, he began playing guitar and writing songs in the early Seventies. After a string of copy bands to develop his performance skills, Cash joined forces with singer/songwriter William Loveless to form an acoustic duo called Akimbo. Freshly out of high school, Akimbo grew amplifiers, added drums and ultimately evolved into The Privates. The Privates enjoyed considerable success during the Eighties playing along side bands such as The Motels, The Plugz, and The Suburban Lawns at many of the popular Los Angeles venues of the day. The Privates signed a deal with a well known production company but fame and fortune never materialized. Buckling under the strain, The Privates broke up as their demo tape was being shopped and before the promise of a European tour could be fulfilled. As it turns out, this too was serendipitous. Dreams of rock stardom were replaced by more profitable endeavors ultimately providing Cash the resources to pursue his art on his own terms. During the Nineties, Cash played in various original groups including The Intelligence, Gadflies, and Wobblewire but career and family were his central focus. In 2004, Cash met producer Joe Ongie and asked him to work with him on his debut album titled Hollywood Mirage. In 2008 Cash released his second album Invisible with the band he had been playing since late in 2006. San Diego producer Jeff Berkley did a nice job helping him make an album he is very proud of. Since 2014, Cash has devoted a good deal of his time to his professional recording studio Sonic-Rocket.com In 2017 Cash formed another band called The Brilliant Deductions, this time with long time pal John Saccoman on bass and backing vocals, friend and Chief Engineer at the Rocket Shea Thompson on keyboards and backing vocals, Lead Guitarist (and Grammy nominee) Jan Bugaiski, and the amazing Dick Winter on drums. This has been a blast and is the foundation forsome of his best work to date. In addition to music, Cash is an accomplished woodworker, artist and holds down a full time job working for a reputable high tech company as a technical support manager.

They were from Pittsfield, Massachusetts and were active roughly between 1997 and 1998 with a brief regrouping in 2000. Search | Add | 6 | Bummers Eve | After a chance encounter in the middle of the mall in Florence, KY, the Cincinnati-based space ripper trio Bummers Eve was born. “Mad” Mike Cipollone and “Sic” Vic Valentino had recently settled a nasty Street Fighter II battle at the Tilt Arcade, and happened upon Northern Kentucky Celebrity Backyard Wrestler “La Una Fiero,” currently operating under the alias Tommy Lee Bummer, at the China Buffet. The three immediately set to work learning between 1 and 3 chords and writing hit songs. Bummers Eve have a deep distaste for life in general that is at best thinly veiled by catchy songwriting. This is tough KBD-style punk filtered through a thick cloud of weed smoke and phaser with enough pop sensibility to get even the squares tapping a toe or two. Look out for the debut single," Fly On the Wall b/w Blue” coming June 23rd on Almost Ready Records, with a full-length soon to follow. And don’t miss them on their Midwest and East Coast tour dates in July. It’s gonna be a bummer’s summer, and it’s always a Bummers Eve.

Search | Add | 6 | Eugene Brosnan | Eugene Brosnan | EUGENE BROSNAN grew up in the rural/industrial town of Millstreet in County Cork. His mother, possessing a beautiful singing voice was well known in the locality for herchoir work and her participation in many musicals. His father, though not a performer had a love of music and introduced the young boy to Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash, to this day huge influences on his music. Though geographically close to the traditional music stronghold of Sliabh Luachra, this brand of music did not rub off on the young musician. Instead, large doses of Rory Gallagher, Thin Lizzy and other pop rock and punk music were administered. Under these influences Brosnan left his native Ireland at the age of 18, guitar in tow and took to the streets, pubs and café bars of various towns and cities throughout Europe where he developed on his musical style by busking and gigging. In 1996 Eugene released his debut CD, "Well he said he'd be here!" to critical acclaim. Songs like Darwin Sound and I Can't Imagine marking him out as a very promising and creative young songwriter. |
