Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Gustave Stern | Stern, Gustave, 1901-1990 (Saturday Aug 11) Producer and conductor of outdoor concerts and Green Lake musicals in Seattle during the 1950s. He was born May 16, 1901, in Duisburg, Germany, and began his musical training at 3 years old. He was playing the piano by age 5. He eventually trained as a conductor at the Leipzig Conservatory. In the early 20s, Mr. Stern became the assistant conductor of the Duisburg Opera Company and toured major German cities for years. He also served as choral director for many musical and religious groups. It was while attending a choral rehearsal that he met his future wife, Gertrude Stern. They married in 1929. She died in 1984. Stern and his family moved from Germany shortly after Adolf Hitler came to power in 1932. They lived in Holland and then Paris for about 10 years before France was invaded by the Nazis. The Sterns and their two children moved to New York, destitute, in 1942. They moved to Chicago where he sold shoes and worked in a defense plant, and then to Fargo, N.D., until 1945. Mr. Stern then moved to Seattle, where he immediately became active in the Seattle musical community. In 1946 he became conductor of the Seattle Civic Light Opera Company with which he conducted several operettas. There he discovered June Preston at age 15 while she was singing at an event given in his honor, he singled her voice out and said, "you have tremendous talent" that week he began coaching her. With Stern, she performed in Opera's with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra at the Seattle Civic Opera, Civic Auditorium, Metropolitan Theater. He was involved in the Music under the Stars program with the Seattle Parks Department. He was also active in various Seattle synagogues and their music programs. Stern was also working as a voice coach. He became famous in Seattle for being a sometimes temperamental but brilliant musician. His son Michael P. Stern said his father was once able to conduct an entire opera from memory. Mr. Stern taught music at Seattle University for years. Students would call him ``Father Stern.'' In 1949, Mr. Stern began conducting Sunday concerts in Volunteer Park, which always drew large crowds. In 1953, Greater Seattle Inc., and the Seattle Parks Department asked him to produce and conduct musicals at the now defunct Green Lake Aqua Theater. The first was ``South Pacific'' and featured Broadway star Martha Wright. The musicals, mixing local talent with stars from New York and Hollywood, continued until 1961. Bob Hope was among the guest stars. Mr. Stern retired from active conducting in 1962 but continued coaching voice from his Seattle home. In 1984, at age 83, Mr. Stern conducted a chorus and an ensemble for the Seattle Symphony in Handel's ``Judas Maccabee'' oratorio. In the winter of 1989, he traveled to Germany where he was honored by the municipal government of Duisburg. He continued to practice the piano almost daily and claimed he was able to improve his technique and overcome bad habits he had learned as a child. Mr. Stern never forgot what it was like to be broke, often donating to a variety of causes. Besides his son Michael of Mercer Island, he is survived by his son John H. Stern of Seattle and five grandchildren. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Richard Perso | Richard Perso, being an only child, always had to make up for his isolation by creating the same amount of mess as 3 kids. It was only a natural progression that led him to making as much noise as a 3-piece band. He doesn’t seem to have enough arms, legs or lungs to pull off such a physically demanding performance but that doesn’t stop him from playing 3 didgeridoos, driving a weapons cache of overdriven acoustic guitars and somehow managing to replace the roll of a drummer with little more than his 2 feet. It is fair to say that Richard Perso is living the dream. He played his first festival at 15, won a string of competitions and awards at the age of 16, played at the Adelaide International Guitar Festival and National Folk Festival by 17. At 18 he has added Woodford Folk Festival and New York performances, a further 16 festivals 2009, as well as recording his Debut album in New York. By 19 he added a tour through Canada and East Coast USA He continues to blaze a trail through Australia’s vibrant festival circuit and live music scene. (from Web Link below) | |

| Search | Add | 3 | SilverSpirit | Tommy Bailey-Graham & Daniel Bailey-Graham | SilverSpirit are a pair of musicians who specialise in synthesised electronic music in various different styles, though generally centred around the dance and pop genres. Dan Bailey-Graham started writing music on a small Casio keyboard at the age of eight and in 1997, his father bought him a Korg Trinity Pro synthesiser for achieving good GCSE grades. This synthesiser is still in use by SilverSpirit today, along with an Alesis Micron which Dan bought and an electro-acoustic guitar that Tommy bought in order to provide a greater depth and variety to the group's sound. Tommy Bailey-Graham writes lyrics and provides vocals for SilverSpirit's original tracks while also supplying conceptual support for music production. Tommy's lyrics are raw and organic, often focusing on social issues and relationships, a poignant juxtaposition against the entirely digital and synthetic musical environment in which they are presented. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Rose Jets | Punk band from Nagoya City, Aichi, Japan. Active from 1982 to 1985. All band members were high school kids(16 years old) when they recorded for the first and the only self-released EP in 1984, and they featured dual vocals by twin brothers! They had a pretty big fan base during the active years, played shows with other local punk bands such as The Star Club, Oxydoll(Tatsuya Nakamura's old band), The Genbaku Onanies, SA(Original), Rocka Rolla, etc. There was a release plan for Rose Jets’ first album by Captain Records when the label had just started in 1985 but that never happened because the band broke up. They did manage to play the now-legendary “Sukiyo!! Captain” free outdoor concert in front of 8,000 audiences at the Shinjuku station square with Gastunk, Cobra, The Willard, Kyahh→, Uchoten and Papaya Paranoia, which was a promotional event held to celebrate the launch of Captain Records on August 18th, 1985. The Rose Jets frontmen and brotmhers Akihiro Kondo and Hiroyuki Kondo are currently active as a reggae duo [a=Ackee & Saltfish]. In 1998 during the A&S concert at the Diamond Hall in Nagoya, Rose Jets did a one-time only reunion show where they performed their classic punk tune "In The History" featuring original members. Also this song was recorded in studio around the same time and included on one of A&S's albums as a Rose Jets bonus track in 1998. | |
