Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

We Are Surrounded By Energy, Every Action, Seen Or Unseen Is Attended By A Stream Of Energy. Energy Is Material. There Is A Great Energy Accumulation Centre. This Knowledge Was Given To The First People, But Then Lost. Now People Call It “God”. “God” Is The Only Beginning Of All Existence. Everything Begins With Energy………… Hold My Hand, Feel The Pulse Of My Life, Follow Me, I Am Reaching The Highest Depths Of Celestial Nothingness………… A Body. What Runs This Perfect Biological Mechanism ? Energy. It Can Be Also Called “Soul”. When Body Is Dead, “Soul”, Which Is The Sense Of Consciousness, Starts The Journey In The Energy Dimensions. It Can Give Another Birth………… After That Everything Became Inverted, I Looked At Myself From Different Side, My Prayers Became Paths Of Energetic Connections.[/b] | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Star City Meltdown | Brad Dills - Vocals Lukas Patterson - Guitar, Vocals Chris Stewart - Guitar Cody Cupp - Bass Todd Vesey - Drums Johnson City, TN With their explosive stage show, their uncompromising confidence, and a sound described as "Journey meets Avenged Sevenfold”, this 5 piece rock act from Johnson City, TN has been winning over audiences from Mississippi to Michigan. Produced by former Creed bassist Brett Hestla (Dark New Day, Framing Hanley, Tantric), their debut album 'Stick in the Eye' (2009) was an impressive start to what is shaping up to be an energetic adventure into active rock history. The album and impending tour with Saliva gained the band a rabid underground fan base, and spurred independent sales beyond 2500 copies from live shows alone in the first 4 months of its release. After relentlessly touring the country, Star City Meltdown headed back to Florida in 2011, and back into Brett Hestla's studio to record their sophomore full length album. The album title changed from the original name, “Razorblades & Handgrenades”, to ‘Music=War’ after the band departed from their record label in mid-2012. ‘Music=War’ reflects on the constant battle the band faced just to get label support, a solid release date, and for the album to get to their fans in the form and fashion in which it was meant to be heard. Star City Meltdown decided to “soldier up”, after putting so much effort into a project that has gotten rave reviews from rock radio insiders, and they finally worked out an independent release date for ‘Music=War’, now set for Oct. 30, 2012. The first single,"Here's To Us!", is hitting rock radio nationwide, and constant touring is on the agenda for the remainder of the year and well into 2013. Star City Meltdown takes powerful, pop laced melodies and blends them with shredding guitars and bone thumping double bass drums, to form an active rock grenade of epic proportions. One listen to ‘Music=War’, and you’ll see that the band is poised for an all out assault on the active rock world! | |

| Search | Add | 3 | SilverSpirit | Tommy Bailey-Graham & Daniel Bailey-Graham | SilverSpirit are a pair of musicians who specialise in synthesised electronic music in various different styles, though generally centred around the dance and pop genres. Dan Bailey-Graham started writing music on a small Casio keyboard at the age of eight and in 1997, his father bought him a Korg Trinity Pro synthesiser for achieving good GCSE grades. This synthesiser is still in use by SilverSpirit today, along with an Alesis Micron which Dan bought and an electro-acoustic guitar that Tommy bought in order to provide a greater depth and variety to the group's sound. Tommy Bailey-Graham writes lyrics and provides vocals for SilverSpirit's original tracks while also supplying conceptual support for music production. Tommy's lyrics are raw and organic, often focusing on social issues and relationships, a poignant juxtaposition against the entirely digital and synthetic musical environment in which they are presented. |

| Search | Add | 3 | 2Da West | Samuel West | 2Da West is an up & coming emcee from Chicago, Illinois. His unique vocals & style makes him perfect for almost any production. His skills are always tight and on point of the production. His professionalism stands out in his art work. His ability to bounce his syllables to the beat is that like of a drum machine. Reminds you of real emcees such as Tech N9ne or 2Pac with his gift. Not only though is his timing perfect, but his lyrics have a message. A message of truth that many are not ready to hear. 2Da West is a well seasoned emcee that knows what rapping really is. From Hip Hop to eHop to Dance music, this emcee can do it all. In the words of 2Da West himself; "The meaning of life can take you down many different paths. But good or bad, they all give you the gift of experience. Experience is what life is all about. And to me, being able to learn and evolve from these experiences, is the true meaning of life. It no longer matters where you came from, because where you're going in the future, is the only thing that you actually have control of. It's up to us to decide where we want to be in the future, what we want to accomplish, and the means for making that happen. It's up to us to find the power within ourselves, and the only power that saves, heals, and creates, is LOVE. Without being able to love yourself, it's almost impossible to love anything else. To change the world, we must first change ourselves!" |

| Search | Add | 3 | Trinity River Whalers | The Trinity River Whalers, a D/FW-based Celtic/Folk/Rock 5-piece group is seeking to expand their horizons and explore new venues. The band is heavily influenced by Celtic music and sea songs that lend themselves to the Whalers' talent for big harmonies, while borrowing freely from other genres, blending in a bit of blues, swing, or Americana/country to suit their style and the event. As singer-songwriters, the Whalers offer original songs, plus tasty selections from the likes of Steve Earle, Tom Waits, Garth Brooks and Van Morrison, with a "Fleetwood Mac meets the Clancy Brothers" feel. Pub favorites, the Whalers, are also regulars at the North Texas Irish Festival and the Austin Celtic Festival, plus the guys, who are former members of the Blarney Brothers (Randy Christian accordion; percussion; Mike Price rhythm guitar; Rodger Harrison bass; Steve Harrison bouzouki, guitar, didgeridoo), are veterans of some of the biggest Celtic festivals in the country, including the Milwaukee Irish Festival and the Boston Sail 2000, as well as Ft. Worth's Main Street Arts Festival, Denton Jazz & Art Festival and other similar civic and cultural events. Mandolin maven and lead guitarist, Marj Troyer, is a roadhouse rock refugee and adds a perfect 5th to the Whaler's harmony. Proving the Whalers' sound isn't just for pubs and Irish festivals, they are featured at special events of varying types, including the Lightcatcher Winery in west Ft. Worth where they can be heard throughout the year at their Christmas Toys for Tots show, the July 4th Bash, St. Patrick's Day Bacchanalia and the annual Crush Day/Lucy Dance, that grows every year and showcases the band's versatility. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Nimal Mendis | Nimal Rupert Arthedeva Mendis | Nimal Mendis (born 29 March 1934, Colombo, Ceylon - died 2015, Malabe, Colombo, Sri Lanka) was a Sri Lankan singer and songwriter, and was one of a handful of Sri Lankan musicians to appear on the BBC television programme [i]Top of the Pops[/i] (1968). The following profile was authored by Nimal Mendis: My first break in England came when my song “Kiss Kiss Kiss” was sung by Mary Marshall. The recording was handled by Dennis Preston who later was to become the father of the traditional Jazz revival in the UK. It was released on Columbia. I have 22 songs published in Britain and have written music for films in Sri Lanka. “Kandyan Dance” an instrumental was my second piece in the West. Recorded by Friedel Berlipp and his Orchestra in Germany it went on to be No 2 on Radio Luxembourg. It was also released in the States. I have written the background score and songs for eleven Sri Lankan films. ”Films and Filming“ magazine in the UK says of my score for Lester James Peries’ film “Godking”: “score featuring such disparate styles as a baroque fugue and souped-up seventies orchestration has an ultimately moving theme at its heart“. At present my song “Girls” translated by Duminda Allehendra and sung by Amila Sandaruwan with a video production done by the students of the Digital Film Institute of Sri Lanka has been uploaded on Youtube. Its the first Sinhala Blues song and has been having rave reviews . The link to it is: [see Web Links] “Black Pearls & Green Diamonds” has eight of my songs on an LP for Decca by “One Two and Three” a folk group in Britain. I appeared with my singing partner Sandra Edema in 1968 as guest artists with my song “Feel like a Clown” on “Top of the Pops” in London and “Beat Club” in Germany that year. Record Producer Ray Horricks says this on the sleeve of the “Black Pearls and Green Diamonds” LP: “Nimal’s work combines an awareness of western melody and harmony with great originality in his story ideas, while there is a very exotic Eastern flavour about his choice of words. When it came to making this album I found myself preferring his numbers to the many better known folk items the three singers have in their repertoire". The artist left the following notes in Web Links: [for the youtube link] At present my song: “Girls” - the first blues song in Sinhala sung by Amila Sandaruwan and translated by Duminda Allehendra. The video was produced by the students of the Digital Film Institute of Sri Lanka [for the itunes link] There are 19 songs of mine in an album "A Songwriters Diary" Vol 2 on Itunes. |
