Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Jeffery Piccinini | Jeff Piccinini, also known by his alias, Geoff Myles, began his professional music career in London playing bass with Stormtrooper a proto type punk band he formed with his long time friend Nigel Hutchings. After the demise of that band he joined the famous punk band Chelsea. Jeff left Chelsea and started The Smart with long time friend David Martin and former rhythm guitarist for Chelsea In San Francisco Jeff started a pop trio in mid 90's called the Merciful who released one album but faded away in 1999. Longtime friend and co-writer James Sant Andrea and Jeff reformed the band as Rovanna & the Ravens in 2005 to record six songs for a feature film "Spirits of the Road". Besides his distinguished musical career, Jeff became a freelance director of photography and videography and has worked widely on numerous television shows, documentaries and independent features, including his own independent film, "Spirits of the Road". He also wrote and performed most of the music for the soundtrack of his film. Revenant finds Jeff playing in a modern rock trio heavily influenced by classic British rock and the power trios of the past together with his punk rock roots.

Search | Add | 2 | Walter Taylor III | Walter began his music experience began at a young age. He played drums at age 11, and his bass-playing stepfather, Ashley Monroe Taylor Jr., brought 13-year-old Taylor along for his first club gig. He wasn’t old enough to be there, so whenever the band took a break from playing, he waited outside. Taylor, who spent his youth in Kansas City before moving back to Oklahoma, eventually tired of playing jazz and blues and wanted to move on to other genres. He returned to his roots later in life when he realised his deep personal history with jazz and blues and their underlying connection to spirituality.

Search | Add | 2 | Mad Warrior, Violent Leader | Mad Warrior; Violent Leader is an eight-piece ensemble project that composes what could reductively be called post-folk. All members come from varying backgrounds and some even play in other “sort-of well known” bands. Influences are diverse but largely they as a group agree that humane treatment of asylum seekers is necessary as well as justice system that treats people with dignity and compassion. The band also agrees that an economic system that encourages equal distribution of resources and discourages profiteering business practices that are detrimental to the environment would be good. Also, that the linear consumption of resources on a finite planet is unsustainable. The band has not yet agreed on the existence or definition of “god” but still occasionally discusses these themes in their songs.

Search | Add | 2 | Sarah Lou Richards | Richards was born in upstate Wisconsin, where she sang her way through grade school and eventually earned a music scholarship to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. After graduation, she headed east, landing a job teaching elementary schoolers in Connecticut. In 2007, Richards packed up her classroom and moved south, this time finding a new home in Nashville. She dove in headfirst, writing a catalog of songs inspired by mainstream artists (Miranda Lambert, Bonnie Raitt) as well as left-of-center Americana singers (Ryan Adams, Brandi Carlile, Patty Griffin). She toured heavily, too, booking her own shows and building her fanbase show by show. During breaks in her schedule, she volunteered with organizations like Musicians on Call and Girls Rock Camp Alliance. Her debut record, 2010's, Ruby Red Shoes, was produced by Henry Paul, frontman for the '90s multi-platinum country band BlackHawk. The album introduced Richards as a sharp, observational songwriter who straddled the line between country and modern pop — a distinction she continued whittling into sharp shape over the following years. By 2014, Richards' sound had won over fans like the Steeldrivers' Gary Nichols, who produced her third record, The Woman Behind the Curtain. An independent musician and savvy businesswoman, Richards funded the album via a PledgeMusic campaign, emboldening and enlarging her audience.
