Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Stripmall | Stripmall create a dynamic Western-influenced prairie punk that is as delicate as it is aggressive. Reminiscent of a row of shops somewhere between almost and never quite. In the last miles of plastic backlit signage, never where you're meant to be, but a place you'll never forget. Stripmall evokes the place where frustration and hope exist. True Alberta contrast where the West meets the concrete.

Search | Add | 3 | Spam Animals | Spam Animals is really only a convenient header for a series of ad-hoc collaborations which were done during 1986 & 1987. A lot of the material produced by this pairing was very much "tongue in cheek" and, to a certain extent, this puts the work in the category of a "fuck band" in that it was often about indulging in private jokes rather than trying to produce anything too serious.

Search | Add | 3 | Jeff Blakely | Jeff Blakely | Hailing from the dark and dank streets of Detroit comes the often mentioned yet rarely seen, Detroit electronic music producer The Madd Roller AKA Dr. JiFFY. In the Roller’s early years he began experimenting with electronic music in a rare MOD format. The songs were heard by members of the underground industry and Dr. JiFFY was spawned. Years later he became the Vice President of the well-known and highly respected Detroit label, Electrofunk Records. Electrofunk Records was at its peek in ‘97 when The Madd Roller, then dubbed Dr. JiFFY, joined the forces of Mr. De’ and DJ Assault. It wasn’t until now that the often mentioned, rarely seen, Madd Roller has decided to rise into the lights. In a recent tour in The UK, during the EF Live tour, The Madd Roller stomped the crowed with immense beats and rhythms. Shortly after the UK tour The Madd Roller went into the studio with other great Detroit artists such as DJ Godfather and Mr. De’ to produce some deeply laced tracks to be released in succession throughout 2004. |

Search | Add | 3 | Geminga | Geminga’s music flows through dreamy moods, to then shake you up with funky electronic beats. The band gets its inspiration from all over the universe. Each track tells its own musical story. Sometimes with words in English, sometimes in Dutch, sometimes in a made up language. Intense, stubborn and urgent, is what Geminga stands for. Whether it’s an ‘ordinary’ popsong or an artistic composition for a choreography like the performance This is me / as time goes by. The essence counts. With that, Geminga’s music aims straight for the heart of the listener.

Search | Add | 3 | Sabandija | Sabandija was formed in 2005 in Santiago, Chile, from the ashes of Grillos Roncos, a band between high school friends in Cajon del Maipo in 2003. Since then it has been Damien Esquerre on guitar and vocals and my best friend Max Reid on drums. They have played with different bassists but for the longest with Igor Barrenechea. Currently sound engineer Fernando Leon performs bass duties. Because members live on different continents, this project is dormant most of the time, but quite loud when they get together. Sabandija takes influences from classic hard rock, doom and sludge metal and punk. Lyrics go from reptilian themes, to the doom of mankind, always with an acid sense of humour. they have released five albums: Contaminación Acústica (2005), Venganza Batracia (2008), Anales de la Mierda (2009), Squamata (2012-2015) and Amplexo (2023).

Search | Add | 3 | Daddy Twan | Shala S. T. Emmanuel | Little is known about Daddy Twan. His past lays somewhere in the shades of the island of St. Lucia where he is told to have been a smuggler to make a living. His kind of Reggae is cool, dark, positive, and powerful, but most of all it is charismatic and it looks into the future. When performing live, the stage lights illuminate his wooden leg prosthesis when he leans on his handcrafted wooden stick and in his dark voice teaches his critical opinions about what's going on these days to the audience. |
