Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Rustre | Lukas Schöttner | Rustre's songs negotiate opposites. His figures move between melancholic doubt and detached confidence. They ask questions and search for answers. And where human language reaches its limits and becomes a cage of thoughts, music becomes a universal means of expression. The singer and musician from Leipzig consciously searches for friction, uncompromisingly combines analogue instruments with electronic sequences and natural field recording samples with melodically blurred soundscapes - all arranged, recorded and mixed by himself. Rustre gives things the time they need. And thus, canonical song structures are dissolved, clear lines are broken. Instead: impatient rhythms, distorted bass guitars and warped instruments, rustling sound samples that first creep in quietly, building up layer by layer, to rage into a powerful discharge. Often, the songs end somewhere completely different than where they started. Everything may be as it is. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Kaysn | Kay Friese | Kaysn is a musical all-rounder with a unique electro sound. Behind the artist persona is the 41-year-old Hamburg-based Kay Friese, who has been pursuing his passion as a bass player, guitarist and background singer in various bands and genres since the mid-1990s. Significantly influenced by the Nu Jazz of Herbie Hancock and the sound design of Roland Voss, aka Lemongrass, Kaysn has created his own style, which combines melodic and chilled soundscapes with hip-hop beats, slow chord sequences and samples - sometimes catchy, sometimes experimental. This is complemented by cuts and scratches by his long-time companion DJ Plattitude, who runs the Islelaidback Sound studio with his partner Christian Niquet and is also responsible for the mix & mastering of Kaysn's music. The fruits of the collaboration were first manifested in 2017 on the EP "Freisemester", which was released on Stresslos Records. In 2018 the next EP followed with “Dream of a Bird”, from which the single “Girl from Uranus” was decoupled. In addition, Kaysn produced several remixes for the alternative band Access: Icarus. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Leagus | Leagus is a contemporary and experimental musical duo from Sápmi, Norway, whose music alternates between formal composed parts, open structures, and free improvisation, and ranges from subdued, minimalistic, psalm-like pieces, to more rock-oriented improvised parts. Consisting of pianist Herborg Rundberg and guitarist Kristian Svalestad Olstad, Leagus was originally formed in 2013 by Herborg, as part of her Masters degree in Rhythmic Music at the Tromsø Conservatory, where Kristian had also received his Masters degree in the same subject two years earlier. Over the years the duo have worked extensively on finding new, and different interactions between the piano and the guitar, which has lead to the development of a new and progressive kind of musical togetherness. It is a sound that is highly dynamic with musical contrasts playing a big part in their concept. In 2021, Leagus were commissioned by the North Norwegian Jazz Ensemble to write a piece for a ten-member orchestra. The result was “Flora Eallin” which was composed and arranged by Herborg and Kristian. This led to a tour with the North Norwegian Jazz Ensemble and long time collaborator and visual designer Torbjørn Thrane Sandnes. | |

A dabbler in any artistic medium, 'The Half Artist's' eventual manifestation came after many names and many years of obsessively writing and recording half finished songs, sketches, poems and projects. As his writing became more intricate and experimental, and less to the formula of songwriting, he soon found a new intriguing unknown where he could further grow, Poetry Slamming. This soon lead to the National Poetry Slam state finals, numerous other slam wins and frequent invitations to perform at spoken word events. He is now a well respected something or other in a world where they probably don't even know he makes music. During this flourish of word nerding, he quietly penciled in all nighters and disgusting amounts of persistance to experiment, study and learn the art of Beatmaking, Sampling and Production. For the love of all things soul intertwining and expressive. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Roger DeLarge | Roger André Bukkøy Røksund | Norwegian musician. Roger Bukkøy Røksund is born in 1988 in Norway and has a background in metal bands like Kuria and Goliathon. At the same time, having a lot of alternative songs on his mind he decided to create a solo project. Roger DeLarge is a psychedelic project that focuses mainly on atmospheric music influenced by the early British psychedelic scene and the 60-70s “acid” music in America. The debut album "Left Somewhere Dreaming" has two sides of it, one calm and one more melancholy, but they’re all trippy either it's about an ant that lost his way or something more personal. This album is for those who like to dream away into the surreal. Roger DeLarge went back to the studio imminently after the release of his debut album and his second album titled "Wall of Eyes" was released 28/06/2013. This album features a more professional sound and the songs are more advanced and experimental. |
