Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | tociwashere | In 2000, a bizarre object appeared clearly in the sky. A kind of flying object, not clearly identifiable. At that moment, one could only assume that it was a kind of "toci". A clearly functional & aesthetic sign with inspiration from Japan. The graphic home is now a spatially small but in the heart big music city in Thuringia/Germany. There are many friends who make good music and from time to time they need good graphics. That's how a small business came into being. toci was here. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Алиса Апрелева | Татьяна Коломейцева | Alisa Apreleva is a Russian singer, composer, multiinstrumentalist, producer, and poet. Alisa Apreleva's music is rooted in a wide variety of genres: from authentic Eastern Slavic folklore to chamber to jazz to rock to film music. She uses voice and an array of acoustic instruments (cellos, harp, accordion, hang drum, piano, ethnic drums), along with looping and electronic processing, in her compositions, creating the style best described as "acoustic ambient". EthnoLoops, her most recent project, is a solo set for voice, cello and a loop station, where Eastern European and Native American traditional songs coexist with original compositions to create a universe full of joy and color. Soundscapes around EthnoLoops are build by Ishaan Chhabra, a sound architect from India. Alisa Apreleva's CD "Lucidus", including 11 compositions for voice, drums and three celli, was released in 2011. Finest musicians from Russia, United States, Mexico, India, Costa Rica were involved in production and presentation of the album, which was enthusiastically welcomed by critics, fans and musical connoisseurs in Russia, Europe, United States and Latin America. Alisa Apreleva started performing professionally early in her life as a classical singer and pianist. Since 2001, Alisa has acquired popularity as a singer-songwriter and a widely published poet. In 2003-2004 Alisa worked as an actress with “Tample” musical theater (Moscow, Russia). In 2003 Alisa graduated cum laude from the Lomonosov Moscow State University with Master’s Degree in Linguistics and Education and entered the post-graduate school. In 2004 Alisa moved to Seattle, USA. Since then she lives between two continents and writes songs in two languages. Starting from 2006, Alisa Apreleva is getting more and more popular around the globe as “the Russian singing cellist wonder”. In 2006-2008 Apreleva studied film scoring with Hummie Mann ("Robin Hood: Men in Tights", "Year of the Comet", "Dracula: Dead and Lovin It", "Language of the Heart", "Sleepless in Seattle, "Simpsons", "ALF"), within the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program. During 2010 - 2012 Alisa continued her music education as a scholarship recipient of Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA), majoring in Music Therapy studies. In 2010-2011 she also studied classical composition with Tibor Pusztai, composer and conductor from Hungary. | Search | Add | 4 | Los Angeles Sheriff's Department Band | The LASD Band, under the direction of Dan Glass, is an all-volunteer group of musicians dedicated to giving their very best for the band, the Sheriff’s Department, and the community. The present group of musicians traces it’s history to 1914, when it was first established as the L.A. Police Band. It was originally comprised entirely of sworn officers. Following the passage of Proposition 13 in 1978, active police officers were required to dedicate their duty hours exclusively to enforcement, and, in response, the band was disbanded. Shortly after, a group of civic leaders headed by Bob Ahmanson and Gene Rodenberry formed an all-volunteer band under the direction of John Campbell. Throughout the 1980s the band expanded into the 75-member ensemble it is today. Many of its members are professional musicians, as well as retired law enforcement, judicial, and fire department employees. In 1989, Don Holcomb was appointed band director. Under Dr. Holcomb’s leadership, the band performed for countless police, fire, military and civic events. The band’s role as musical ambassador has taken it to Mexico, Sweden, Italy; the band played the dedication ceremony of the California State Police Memorial in Sacramento, CA, and the National Police Memorial in Washington, DC. Following Dr. Holcomb’s passing in 2016, amid some disagreement over the future course of the band, a majority of the members voted in favor of transitioning to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. LASD has it’s own rich history of official music, which the LASD Band is now excited to be a part of. The band is supported by Californians Organized for Police Support (COPS), a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation. Under the umbrella of COPS and the baton of Dan Glass, the band continues to flourish as it represents the County of Los Angeles and the Sheriff’s Department, helping to build and improve relations between law enforcement and the public at large. | |
