Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

His music evokes a sense of impending doom with dark beats and gritty distressed soundscapes. |

Search | Add | 8 | Cavan Grogan | Cavan John Grogan | CAVAN GROGAN (February 18, 1949 – February 15, 2020) Crazy Cavan and the Rhythm Rockers (also known as Cavan & The Rhythm Rockers, Crazy Cavan "N" The Rhythm Rockers, Crazy Cavan & The Rhythm Rockers) are a Teddy Boy band from South Wales. The band formed in 1970, and has still been actively touring and recording. The band appeared in the 1980 film Blue Suede Shoes which detailed the revival of 1950s rock 'n' roll music scene at the time. The first incarnation of the band was formed in 1964 by Cavan Grogan (vocals), Lyndon Needs (lead guitar) and Terry Walley (rhythm guitar) under the name "Count Dracula and the Vampires". In 1968, joined by Brian Thomas (piano) and Don Kinsella (bass), they took the name "The Sundogs" which they borrowed from Alan Freed who was known as "Moondog" and combined it with their taste for Sun Records, a label which they used to buy at that time. Then in 1970, with the addition of Mike Coffey (drums), they took the name "Crazy Cavan 'n' the Rhythm Rockers", a name which has endured. In 1973, the band formed its own record label, Crazy Rhythm Records (named after their own description of their music) and released their debut single, "Teddy Boy Boogie" (backed with "Bop Little Baby"). In 1975 they released their first album Crazy Rhythm on the Dutch Rockhouse label. In 1976, they signed with Charly Records in the UK, and released their second album, Rockability. |

Search | Add | 8 | Jimmy Reeves Jr. | Blues singer and guitarist, who recorded an LP for Chess/Checker in Chicago, Illinois, in 1970. It's not easy to find info about Jimmy Reeves Jr. The following article sheds some light on the album - "One other session [from Walter Horton] that merits attention from this period is a Chess LP done under the name of guitarist Jimmy Reeves Jr., who as his name alludes, was a young Jimmy Reed lookalike and soundalike, complete with a photograph of rack mounted harmonica around his neck. The session was a straight Willie Dixon affair that featured a few Reed titles and a lot of Willie's songbook. Fortunately, M.T. Murphy was the lead guitarist and Shakey [Walter Horton] performed some outstanding sympathetic backing in tandem with pianist Lafayette Leake or Sunnyland Slim. Reeves Jr., the star of the session, was relegated to vocals. This session appeared only briefly on vinyl, then disappeared presumably due to poor sales, and a lingering aftertaste of bad Jimmy Reed clones that had exhausted their market attraction. This type of session is a good example of how a mediocre artist (Reeves Jr.) can be rescued from oblivion by a good backing group, a task that Walter Horton handled measurably, several times during his career". - from http://www.ilpopolodelblues.com/bman/horton.html

Search | Add | 8 | Sokolyara | Sergey Sokolov | Sokolyara began composing music in 2005 in Moscow before he studied at the university, he was 22 years old. He often came to rave watching the performances of his favorite artists, they gave him strength and a desire for more creative inspiration and a desire to create something new, progressive, began work in his own recognizable style, much of which was played by his nature and perception of the world . Soon they were busy in complex rough directions, and the technology as a whole is sound experiments in such directions and styles as techno, trance, idm, doom, industrial, rhythmic noise, under the wing of its own network label "sacramental", where he hid under the Exact Noise. He performed in clubs and hidden forests. In 2015, recording began on the ground. Over time, he began to live more in the basement of the Studio somewhere in the Moscow region, called it "Holerika", where he continues to actively engage in creativity. Search | Add | 8 | Dimitry Liss | Dimitry Lisionok | Dimitry Liss, was born on the 18th day of December 1985 in the city of Vladivostok, Russia. Soon after he relocated to Tyumen, Siberian City where he spend the first 15 years of his life. Music and sports were the only activities that kept him going in the oil- rigged city. At home his father was his main influence and shaped his perception of music. Dad was deeply rooted in good old school rock, in the likes of Beatles, Nazareth, CCR, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne. Didn’t take long for Dimitry to pick up the tennis racket and rock on at the tender age of 4. In addition, his mother's friend was a piano teacher who started tutoring young Dimitry from an early age, which initially was perceived as hardworking and difficult - became easy and interesting. Sports was his little sanctuary, where the body exercised and the mind relaxed, composing a flow of ideas that later on grew more complex. The year was 2002, Dubai was the new city that would in turn add to his aural perception. In the United Arab Emirates he completed high school; in a poly-cultural environment were music, culture and technology coincide hand in hand. His younger brother formed a metal-band soon after Dimitry joined him to express their ideas, in a more sophisticated level. Rhythm guitar intrigued Dimitry and still does to this day. The band has composed over 20 original pieces over the last years, with tastes of heavy metal, brutal death, melodic and the like and now more diverse and stronger than ever. After school Dimitry set off to Prague to study business, however his journey was cut short. Within a year his passion guided him to follow another path. In 2006, back to square one, he joined an audio engineering school in Dubai. Where he successfully completing his audio engineering degree in 2007 and was honored with a bachelor’s degree in Arts. The educational experience equipped him with several valuable tools; and his perception of music grew immensely. Now being able to put each and every one of his ideas on canvas. In this educational journey, he met his co-producer artist, Costas Papa. Although Costas was heavily influenced from house, trance and techno; at some level they had similar visions. This gave birth to the Dimitry Liss & Costas Papa "coalition", formed in 2007 to serve the global community with quality electronic music. Although the project is like a new born baby, it has crawled into several leading indie labels such as Bit Records Mexico, Xela Recordings, Stranamente Records, Total Wipes, Reticent Recordings to name a few. However, Dimitry did not stop there as in early 2009 he ventured to explore the music world in his solo career by signing with few more major underground labels like Frisky Records and Balkan Connection South America Records. Currently Dimitry Liss supports electronic music, he is heavily involved with Dimitry Liss & Costas Papa duo project and his own work as a producer and a DJ, crafting brand new progressive, tech, deep, minimal house tracks for your enjoyment. |

This band was called “Rotting Fruit”. Nathan played bass for the band. Around that time, he would start his first solo project called “bloody saliva”. This project was a completely different direction of the punk stuff he was doing with Rotting Fruit. He would play 2 shows with the band before eventually departing from the band in January of 2024 due to a toxic relationship with the lead singer. Andrew also departed with Nathan and soon would create their new band, Brushburn, which is joined by long time friend of Nathan’s, Eli Schlappich. Around April of 2024, Nathan started his second project, which focused on a screamo sound, called “dead… on arrival”.

I never quite figured out how to pull that off, and thank goodness for that. Search | Add | 8 | Graham Haynes / Hardedge | Graham Haynes / Hardedge was a collaborative project of [a=Graham Haynes] and [a=Hardedge]. The duo recorded and released eight live albums between 2005 and 2010, exploring the inner-workings of sound and synthesis and featuring dense musical soundscapes, unrestricted freedom of movement, vibrant and rich sonic textures. The son of famous jazz drummer [a=Roy Haynes], Graham was surrounded by jazz his whole childhood. While Haynes' main instrument is the cornet, he is mostly working with electronic processing to create subtle sonic environments. Haynes combines compelling, hypnotic horn lines, experimental post-techno rhythms, world music grooves and ambient textures in his sonic output. Sound designer [a=Velibor Pedevski], better known under [a=Hardedge] alias, is working in the realms of live dark electronic music. His experimental approach to sound, space, and structure is inspired and based on the fundamental principles of the Chicago's A.A.C.M. creative thinkers, especially their revolutionary multi-directional, non-progressive approach, and the use of silence as a musical element. Together with Graham Haynes, Hardedge created psychedelic-like aural landscapes, made up of polyrhythms and random, transient frequencies.

Search | Add | 8 | Debbie Dierks | Debbie Dierks Montgomery | American singer/songwriter and musician from Kansas City. Daughter of Kay (Irene) Johnson, Orlene's sister. Niece of songwriter/record label owner [a6589992]. She's been singing since she learned to talk. She grew up harmonizing with her family while her mother sang and played guitar. Her mother and twin sister had been live radio singers/entertainers known as 'Kit and Kay' during the 1930's-40's. Debbie was fascinated by her mother's musical background and grew up imagining herself as a professional singer just like her mother. Debbie began singing in talent shows and school concerts. She learned to play the piano and the guitar and spent many hours singing and writing songs. Throughout high school and college, she was active in school choral groups, musical revues, and sang in church choirs. When her father died, she wrote a song for him entitled 'Daddy's Little Girl.' With this song and several other songs she had written, she and her mother and aunt headed for Nashville. Debbie was nineteen when she recorded her first country album, 'Lucky Chicago'. To promote the album, Debbie put together her own band and spent a few years traveling and playing clubs and fairs. During this time, she opened concerts for Waylon Jennings and Hank Williams Jr. as well as for Hank Snow and for T.G. Shepard. After being on the road for a time, Debbie became disillusioned with the competitiveness of the recording business and decided to go back to college. She completed her master's degree in business and met and married her husband. She maintained her love for music and chose to volunteer her services to her church. As a Sunday soloist and congregational song leader, she became more and more appreciative of Christian music. She once again began to write songs, but this time she found that she was inspired to express herself in a much more spiritual way, which resulted in Debbie's CD release, 'According To Thy Will.' |
