Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Tito Haensel | Its musical history begins as a result of the theft of a guitar at 6 or 7 years. Yes, as he reads it, a robbery. Heansel felt a special attraction - and uncontrollable - for the ropes: "I was with my dad at the Yaguachi festivities (when these were an apotheosis thing) and I saw a guitar in one of the stalls, I asked him to buy it and he refused , but I did not stay with the pike, I reached for it and I ran. " When "doing that little prank", the owners of the place persecuted him and his father had to pay for the instrument. When he tells this story he lets out a knowing smile: "I took the guitar to the house and that's where everything started". At age 12, he met the musician Joaquín Naranjo in his neighborhood (in all of Pedro Moncayo and Padre Solano). He confesses: "When I saw him play, my fascination for music grew even more". With Naranjo he learned to sing the chords. Already "with a bigger and more professional guitar", he began to "take out" songs that he played with his "gallada". "I remember that I put a group of outlaws into the home of my poor parents (that's how he calls his musical friends) and made a scandal that you can not imagine," he laughs. "That was a time when the electric guitar was a myth, a novelty, not to mention the bass, that nobody had," says this before commenting that to facilitate the scenario, ingenuity is always appropriate: "We used to take a guitar and we put four strings. " Remember that, before, being a musician was playing for the love of the shirt, the difficulty of practicing this activity was not only limited by the economic aspect, but by the social stigma that existed: "Living from music was frowned upon, that is to say that you were drunk, drug addict and parrandero ". Already at age 17, "and more knowledgeable (experienced) in this art" recognizes that he began to "work in music and fail in studies" -he made his high school at the National Institute-. One of the stories he remembers most of that time is the occasion when he participated in an intercollegiate contest of musical bands where he won first place and "other things". "I played with my teeth. I arrived with the prize to the school and the rector told me: 'Pay the fees you owe for a pension and consider yourself a graduate' ". In addition to these 'recognitions', and after the presentation the afternoon of the contest, Josefina de Vallarino contacted him to make a suggestion: "Come to Los Corvets". He also joined groups such as Marfil and Canela, and accompanied on stage national artists Lucho Silva and Enrique González and international Leo Dan, Alberto Cortez and others, he was also a musician at the Fediscos label. Currently belongs to the Pyramide group and has its own studio. He declares that the guitar is his spoon, part of his body, and that he will continue to make music long, because despite the difficult moments, "which never fail", he always looks at things from a positive point. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Neon Wolf Music | Neon Wolf | Neon Wolf, born in 1992 in Cagliari, Italy, is a composer and producer who ranges between synth pop and synth rock. His name comes from two elements: the neon lights characteristic of the 1980s and the wolf, the animal that fascinates him most. Growing up in the 1990s among video games and action movies, including the myth of Top Gun, a passion passed on by his father, from the age of 14 he threw himself into music in a rock band with friends and schoolmates, as a drummer, and later experimented with different roles, including singer. In 2021 the first solo work, with the album Tactical Action, oriented on the synthpop, synth rock genre, with an atmosphere inspired by classic video games and action movies. A tribute to the music of his favorite movies and video games, such as Escape From New York, Metal Gear Solid, Die Hard and many others. His music explores a distant era, but also wants to become something new. In July 2024 the first hit single, Memories, dedicated to parents, childhood memories and the world of arcades. In fall 2022 the first collaboration, with a book trailer anticipating the soundtrack to Rick Shelley, a book series by writer Alessandro Fusco. The full album, namesake of the first book, is released in October 2024, and is designed to be listened to while reading. Here he mixes different genres, from dark synthwave to prog, to recall big names like Carpenter. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Kowari | Two years after their first album"Trail" and a fifty-date European tour, the Belgian duo Kowari will be back with a new album in 2024. With this second record, Damien Chierici (violin, programming) and Louan Kempenaers (piano, programming) create a modern electronica ode to travelling and letting go. Downtempo and essentially instrumental on "Trail", on this album Kowari's universe is enriched by epic backing vocals, hypnotic organic drums, intoxicating loops and stronger electro beats. "The Kowari DNA we imprinted on 'Trail' is still there," explain Damien and Louan. "The piano, the violin, the search for melodic power in the compositions, the drive of the loops, the soothing moments that herald flights that are more evocative of cinema... But there was also a desire to add organic warmth and go even further in the use of electro elements. In concerts, people cry on some tracks and dance on others. That's exactly what we're looking for." | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Vesperland | Vesper Land, is a musical project in which Mikael Cointepas sets to music poems of the nineteenth century era. Around the guitar and the voice, emerges a sound that can evoke the light of the great outdoors as the urban darkness. Vesper Land is also a field of sound experimentation, throughout meetings with musicians from various musical genres. In 2018 is planned the release of the next album devoted to the poems of William Butler Yeats. Recorded alone, this slowly developed piece is the harvest of a long solitary work. It highlights some of the author’s poems in the final part of his career, taking an uncompromising look at life. « What can be explained is not poetry » W. B. Yeats | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Faye Yates | Iona "Faye" Yates | Faye was born on December 28, 1946 in Leander, TX to Bob Hart and Emalee Maxey Hart. Faye was known as a singer, song writer and Christian evangelist. She had a deep passion for ministering to the broken hearted and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through her music ministry, and any other means the Lord presented her. She was full of spunk and funny too, yet very serious about her love for the Lord. She recorded six albums in Nashville that were full of music that presented important biblical truths. To Faye the focal part of a song was the message. For this reason, she would often write her own songs in order to proclaim a message that was very personal to her. Although she had the pleasure of working with many notable Christian speakers and ministries across the country, she thoroughly enjoyed every opportunity to sing the national anthem for the San Antonio Spurs, the San Antonio Missions and many other venues. She received a number of awards over the years for her singing and song writing and performed at numerous venues across the country, and several international venues as well. There were also a number of opportunities on various TV and radio programs. In her book, “Thank You for the Valley,” she tells a personal story of triumph when life’s journey took her where she didn’t want to go and is based on the experience of raising April, her Down’s syndrome daughter. Faye also authored and presented a Christian conference entitled “Hope Beyond Imagination”, where she spoke on how to maintain your hope and joy regardless of life’s circumstances. But, above all else, she was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. Iona “Faye” Yates, a resident of New Braunfels, Texas, was relieved of her long struggle with Alzheimer’s when she passed away late Christmas night, December 25, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family, just 3 days before her 71st birthday. |

Lou D. despite Hollywood accolades for his comedic roles, oddly enough he loved to sing most and pursued his passion as a lifelong dream, singing before audiences. He was also one of the original five founders of [l158230] Records, a team of musicians and businessmen who first recorded and launched [a15885] and the [a41157]. Occasionally Lou would sing with a young group founded, in high school, called the Valiants. But fate would take him instead to the big screen where he'd often conjure up laughter as a caricature of a fat man humoring largely black audiences eager for laughs and a black hero vs. a mostly white villain formula as often depicted in Blackploitation films. |

| Search | Add | 4 | It's A Living Thing | Rodrigo Falcao, Damon Morris, Monashee Sun, Alissa Raya, Anju Singh | Is a band on a mission. Beginning as a looping psych-rock 2-piece, the bands exhilarating live set captivated music nerds, dance-party-goers & critical viewers alike over their first year of local shows. Spontaneous & driving, armed with Rodrigo Falcao's accomplished samba influenced rock-dance rythyms, threaded with Damon Morris's quasi-electronic sounding yet completely organic melodic elements, the duo strode bravely into unknown territory. The 6-song EP "You don't Have To" is a perfect cross-section of their audacity. Sink or Swim's Disco party sing-along slides gradually into evil stoner-rock psychadelic meltdown, like an inevitable comedown from a stratospheric high. The opening track "Relative Escape" blends minimalist looping with ethereal vocal harmonies, before catapulting into a stomping apocalyptic rock theme. Another track "Doubletime", is a 2.5 minute (completely improv) 70's power-psych jam, utilizing a loop from a different song, played at 2X the speed. The EP captures perfectly the "anything goes, & everything counts" improvisational spirit of the band, simultaneously admitting vulnerability & skyrocketing imperviously into the wilds of outer space! After pushing the potential of live looping near-to the limit, & being in exclusive musical isolation for a year, the boys began slowly taking on outside involvements again. The living process dictated a period of cultivation & outside energy. 5 shows in a row, were performed with unique lineup & material each time! This was highly exhausting, but fruitful. The new sound is deeper, & wider, bringing in chorale, folk, classical, & other influences, yet retains all the bombastic energy of the original Duo. The new members are: Alissa Raya, bringing her skills as a drummer (Organ Trail) to the rythmic bass pulses, has replaced the loops & freed the band from the linear process they required. She is also blessed with an amazing strong voice, that picks you up gently but carries you roughly all the way down to the soul south. Monashee Sun, on violin, (& yamaha portatone!) adding her accomplished fiddle trills along with a highly developed sensitivity to dynamics & detail, not to mention her high-alto range otherworldy harmonies. Anju Singh, on Cello, as the "5th member". She's busy with bands, (I/I, Greyscales, & National Shield) that take her partially away from IALT, But her skills as an improviser, experimenter, & L.earn I.t Y.ourself classical musician makes her the perfect addition to the Living layer cake of sound. |
