Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Jim remained an ardent student of all subjects for his lifetime. In the weeks preceding his death he had decided he was going to learn to play piano like Dr. John. He was doing very well on the piece, "Just a Closer Walk with Thee."In his childhood he played daily on the Toby Tubby and the Luxapalila Creeks near Columbus. He was a dedicated teacher, pilot, a sailor, and a wonderful father, friend and life companion. When he retired in 2011 he began in earnest his devotion to his beloved backyard bluebirds and his puppies. He often said he wanted to talk to the animals like Tarzan did. Gracie and Lucy listened devotedly to every word he said. I believe the bluebirds were listening in his backyard. Perhaps he's flying over the rainbow with bluebirds right now, as he often said he wanted to do.

| Search | Add | 3 | Let The Guilty Hang | Let The Guilty Hang is a modern heavy metal band that was formed in 2005 in the deep dark hills of West Virginia. Initially the band was supposed to be a side project, but they quickly realized their potential and jam sessions turned into a full-fledged band. Daniel Johnson (formerly of Guinness Clarke’s Wine) and Matt “Beevare” Jeffrey (formerly of Lifter) formed the band. The band quickly captured the attention of Derek Maynard who joined the band almost immediately adding his electrifying abrasive vocal tone to the bands already talented roster. The band then sought after a second guitarist in an effort to create Iron Maiden like guitar styling. Joe Baer (formerly of Born For Eternity) was the man for the job. The band was then rounded out with Adam Adkins (formerly of Born For Eternity) he brought not only bass playing to the table, but his voice also, supplying the contrasting clean vocals and backup vocals throughout what has become the bands signature sound. In September of 2007, Let The Guilt Hang released their debut album ‘The Unspeakable’. Opening for bands like Byzantine, As I Lay Dying, The Haunted, All That Remains, Trivium, and August Burns Red the band had quickly made a name for themselves around the region. The band has just recently released their latest album ‘In Tongues’ which was recorded at Domicile Studio in Cross Lanes, WV and was produced by Eric Hayne (The Corinthian, Isla Sorna, Profligation). - Fist, Metal Nexus. The band had split with rhythm guitarist Joe Baer some time after "The Unspeakable" was released and was replaced by Aaron Casey who is credited for certain work on not only "The Unspeakable," but also "In Tongues." He played with the band for an extended amount of time between the two albums playing live as well as writing music, but exited the band before most of the writing was completed for "In Tongues." Tyler Lowe then took the rhythm guitar position and is credited for most rhythm guitar sections on the new album, but shortly after In Tongues was released Tyler had also left the band after just a small stint of live shows. Cody Frye was next to step up to the position who is the band's current rhythm guitarist completing the current lineup of the band. The band has yet to release new material under the current lineup. | |

In Summer of 2024 they would decide to change the name to “Syndicate” and Ben would switch to percussion. A bassist, Dan (the man) Zhang, and a vocalist, Micah Thomas would be added to the band. Some Facts : The whole concept of this project, meaning the group's name, the album's name, the cover's idea, the 90's feel concept overall, all but the lyrics, is the brainchild of Gorilla Glock, who then proposed it to Magnetic, who brought along Tofu. No Beats without lyrics, no lyrics without beats, but if it wasn't for Gorilla Glock's vision, this album wouldn't exist. I believed in Saskwatch Iron and created it. I see a lot of people always taking too much credit on various projects everywhere, so as Gorilla Glock, I'm clearing things up, and thanks to all people who were involved in bringing a physical form to my concept.

| Search | Add | 3 | Michael L Penman | Michael is a young ambitious music engineer and sound designer. He has managed to solidify his skills across a wide range of genres and platforms. This has led he to work with many prestigious artists such as Photek, Gwen Stenfani, Switch, Asian Dub Foundation and many more. Having worked for other highly talented and influential artist is it that Michael has decided to turn his hand to producing. But instead of using his contacts in the mainstream of music culture he has took a drastic right turn and delved deep into music’s vast under belly. This seen him release a number of hits on Slovakian minimal label Leporelo. With each track possessing bouncy catchy bass lines, slamming drums and a wide array of glitched out percussion and effects. These delight little morsels soon tickled the taste buds of the M_nus crew, with “Moose Man” & “Greasy Love” being played week in and week out. Ambivalent was even so kind to have charted “Greasy Love” in his October Glass Half Full Chart. Soon many an opportunity came a knocking, which lead Michael to remix Yello’s infancies hit “Oh Yeah”. Also within this time he release a heavy darkroom sample pack on Sample Magic’s Sound to Sample, which has already received great support. Within this time he was featured in both Future Music and Computer Music magazines. Both magazine gave great reviews. Michael is currently working on some sexy house projects with Blond:ish, deep driven techno with Mynude and some soul moving classical with Hazlitt. In this time Michael has also opened his doors to other producers who need a experienced mix and master to help achieve their sonic dreams. He is quite simply a short email away. So stayed tuned cause there is a lot more to come from this up and coming artist. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Jahiti | I. Smith | Jahiti is a singer/songwriter based in Baltimore, MD. As part of Baltimore’s legendary group, Brown FISH, and as a solo artist he has performed throughout the US, Canada and Jamaica for the past 15 years. Bringing his own brand of roots, reggae and soul, Jahiti continues to build his solo legacy while remaining close to the spirit of the Brown FISH name. As a founding member of Brown FISH, Jahiti was a core part of the group’s unique “hip-hop meets reggae” signature sound. Part of their particular magic was each member’s ability to perform as individuals as well as being able to come together cohesively as a group. This can be witnessed in their three underground mixtapes, Bootleg I, II, and III released from 2000-2008. Each member (OOH, B-FLY, Vertex and P-EYE) has gone on to have celebrated solo careers in music, production, book publishing, art and community outreach through the arts. In August of 2003, Brown FISH Music released Jahiti’s first solo project “FISH Bowl (The People’s Album).” Co-produced by in-house producer and Brown FISH member Vertex, this project would start Jahiti down the path of becoming a prominent voice among songwriters and performers in Baltimore and the DMV area. Songs like “FISH Bowl,” “I Do,” “Roses” and “Dangerous” would allow him to grow from a child of Caribbean immigrants to a man molded by the beauty of Baltimore. Other songs such as “Hello,” “Keep On Keepin On” and “Jahiti Goodbye” display his passion for his community, his ability to persevere and his capacity to give and share love. In August of 2010, the 7-year anniversary edition of the album, “FISH Bowl,” was released. This new version of the project would replace guest interviews from other artists and add 4 new songs. The most-noted new tracks were “Old Love” ft. Maimouna Youssef and “Keep Cool” by Marcus Garvey. In June 2012, Jahiti and Kier Johnson of Purple Honey Music and Entertainment would team up to co-produce Jahiti’s second release “IS.” Unlike FISH Bowl, this project was not produced using a variety of tracks or pre-recorded sounds but instead was produced 100% using live instruments. It’s while listening to “IS” that you can begin to hear the emergence of Jahiti as a matured and refined singer/songwriter. Within this album you can hear the emergence of his unique music blend. Songs like “Once Again,” “World is Changing” & “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” introduce you to the tones and lyrics of country music. “Give with My Heart” brings you that world music feel as it is reminiscent of his West Indian heritage. And in songs like “10 O’clock” and “Edge,” you are treated to that “soul rock” feel that brings his music genre full circle. The project also includes the non-video version of “Daughter of The Most High”. His recent album, “Manifest” was released on the artist’s birthday, February 8, 2014. “Manifest” ushers in a complete vision of Jahiti’s sound. This project stands out because of the extensive resources coordinated to produce a more polished and robust album. “Manifest” contains thirteen tracks nine of which were co-produced by Mo-Rece of Stinkiface Studio, two by Kariz of Kariz World Studio, and two by Jahiti. The album includes three previously recorded songs- “Murder,” “Show Me the Money” & “Daughter of the Most High.” (This new recording of “Daughter of The Most High” would be the version used for the official music video.) The album starts off with an explosion of world music with the upbeat sound of “Come Like Love”. Other singles such as “I Really” and “Love of Mine” showcases Jahiti’s ability to write powerful and memorable love songs. Other standout tracks (“Movie Star,” “Woke Up/Pray for Me” and “Over Now”) gets the listener fully invested in the “World Country Soul” sound. In the end, “Manifest” succeeds in masterfully delivering stories of love and social commentary told simply using lyrics set to acoustic guitar driven sounds. As an artist, Jahiti isn’t just about the music. A former educator, community organizer and youth advocate, Jahiti has dedicated himself to the Baltimore community and continues to share his talents and passion to other communities that reflect similar challenges. Whether it’s marching in the streets to end domestic violence, reading and singing to a 1st grade class or performing in the prisons, he is committed to using his celebrity and talent to making a difference in the world. With a musical style described as a mix between Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, Richie Havens and Bob Dylan we encourage you to find out for yourself. |

At the end of 2015, David Jackman launched his flagship solo project under the alias “David Ben Jack”, releasing his debut single “No Love (ft. Teri Tobin)” via The EDM Network. The single–a soulful and poppy, yet eccentric take on chilled deep house and nu-disco–features rising neo-soul singer Teri Tobin on vocals, and a remix from UK production duo Armstrong & Statye (of UB40 production fame). A week later, the track charted on JunoDownload.com as the #12 best-selling release in the funky house/club category, before getting airplay on BBC radio, and garnering support from influential DJs. Soon after, David Ben Jack was approached to produce several official remixes for legendary jazz musician Mac Gollehon’s (David Bowie, Duran Duran, Grace Jones) newest project, which was released on his LP via Tomas Doncker’s NYC-based True Groove label. The album (which contained 2 of his remixes) charted for five consecutive weeks on both the CMJ Top 40 Jazz Charts (#19) and Top 40 World Charts, and has been featured on Huffington Post, All About Jazz, and Paste Magazine, being heralded as a unique fusion of latin jazz and EDM. David Ben Jack was then commissioned to produce more remixes for the label, as well a remixes for fusion super group Gideon King and The City Blog, comprised of Island Records recording artist Marc Broussard, James Genus (Daft Punk, Herbie Hancock), Donny McCaslin (David Bowie), and other seasoned musicians. |
