Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | BeyonDévon | Over the years and in throughout the bands many logos the band has stylized their name as BeyonDévon, Beyon Dévon, and Beyon Devon. The most common variation (used on the "A Step Beyon" demo, their 1991 T-shirts, and multiple band logos) is the one-word version, BeyonDévon. Formed in 1988, originally as a cover band. But by early 1989 they had begun writing their own original songs, the first being "Endless Journey" and "Tripsis". Soon after this though, they split with drummer Keith Porter, singer Brian Miller, and guitarist John Stafford. After this they assembled a new lineup and dropped all cover songs, going all-original. The new lineup, fronted by former-Breaker/Blue Steel/Emperor singer Steve Russell, broke out into the Cleveland Metal scene with constant live shows, quickly expanding on the already sizeable following built by the early lineup. They played frequently with Autumn's Ruin, Lanz End, Andromeda, Medalyon, Mercury, Vatican, New Régime, Bison, Donatello and many more. They also played with numerous national acts such as Vicious Rumors, Manowar, Blue Oyster Cult, The Godz, and more. During this time they released their debut demo, "A Step Beyon", in 1990 which has since become extremely rare. Soon after the release of the demo, however, they began to take their music in a much more Progressive direction, citing influences such as "No Exit" era Fates Warning, Crimson Glory, early Queensrÿche, etc. They independently recorded 5 of these new songs on 8-tracks, creating a second demo, and planning to record these, in addition to two others in studio to record their debut album, whose title had not been decided yet. The album would have included the 5 demo songs, "Never the Same", "Live to Die" "Revelations", "Way of the World", "Edens Fall" and others, as well as "One Way Love" and "Angel". While in the studio in 1991, however, BeyonDévon disbanded and the album was never completed, the songs that were finished remain unreleased. Steve Russell and Christopher Michael went on to co-found the Scorpions tribute band Lovedrive in 1991, which Russell recently re-activated, while Steve went on to Theater of Madness and Chris rejoined Keith Porter in Shadowplay. Brian Miller went on to sing for Amon-Ra and Prodigy. Chris later rejoined John Stafford in Twist of Fate. Dave and Rick Rasicci, Brian Berisford, and John Stafford would also go onto play in Moments of Brilliance, before and David and John continued together in the multi-genre-spanning Groove/Nu-metal/Hard Rock/Alternative/Grunge band Thirteen in the 2000s.

Search | Add | 3 | The New Lightweights | When Ariel Posen, Alexa Dirks and Ryan Voth first formed The New Lightweights in early 2008, it was a way for three long-time friends to get together and make music they enjoyed. They began writing together, and in 2009 they released an EP of all original material that received critical acclaim and heavy CBC rotation. The sum of all their parts creates a sound that is soulful and fresh with Dirks' siren voice, Ariel's melodic guitar playing and Ryan's dynamic and precise drumming at the forefront. They bring together their love and knowledge of folk, pop and soul music and turn it into something captivating for the ears and the heart. The New Lightweights is music that speaks of love, loss and what keeps us all together.

Search | Add | 3 | Traetormentas | In 2007, more precisely in the month of June, several experienced musicians from the Greater Buenos Aires (Monte Grande / Luis Guillon) joined forces to form the group named Traetormentas. Since then, they started to play their compositions alive, some of which would later were form part of their first demo. This one was record in the month of January of the following year (2008). With this card of presentation, the band started to become a name that appeared on several compilations and fanzines of its musical style. After several concerts, they arrived at 2009, when they released their second independent production, which named “Tormenta de Fuego “. The recording had 7 new compositions and the first demo as a bonus track. As they went through some lineup changes, they presented “Tormenta de Fuego” and even reached Elortondo city in the province of Santa Fe. In 2010 recording sessions began what would eventually was their first full length fully official. This one was called “Jaque Mate” and was published in 2011. Numerous shows throughout the length and breadth of the Argentine territory happened, especially in self-managed way. During this time they began to compose new songs and, in 2013, they entered in studio to craft their second album “Umbral” which has released again through Pulmonar Recordables early 2014. Again they support the whole issue with countless live performances. In these presentations the video clip of “Persiguiendo La Vida” was recorded. The countless shows continued and in 2019 a new LP comes to light with new own compositions with the name of “Memorias de Luz y Sombra”.

Search | Add | 3 | Sandy Asirvatham | Baltimore, Maryland American pianist and writer Sandy Asirvatham—known artistically as Sandhya—is a writer, musician, and producer living in Baltimore, although forever a New Yorker at heart. Via obsessive study and practice, she willed herself into the role of working jazz pianist and singer. She produced a collection of originals called MEMOIR (2007)—mini-fictions set to eclectic jazz-pop grooves. Later she brought a quirky, ambitious personal dream to fruition: MOBTOWN MOON, a genre-defying, fully reimagined homage to Pink Floyd’s THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, co-produced by singer-songwriter Ellen Cherry and featuring over 50 Baltimore-based musicians in a crazy blend of styles. Sandy (as then called) began working closely with renowned vocal instructor and producer Pete Strobl in 2018, and completing INNOCENT MONSTER, 10 new original songs that map out a journey from contemplative jazz-influenced singer-songwriter to full-on art-rock diva. Sandhya will beginning releasing new singles from the project in late 2020, with the full album due out in spring 2021.

He was doing very well on the piece, "Just a Closer Walk with Thee."In his childhood he played daily on the Toby Tubby and the Luxapalila Creeks near Columbus. He was a dedicated teacher, pilot, a sailor, and a wonderful father, friend and life companion. When he retired in 2011 he began in earnest his devotion to his beloved backyard bluebirds and his puppies. He often said he wanted to talk to the animals like Tarzan did. Gracie and Lucy listened devotedly to every word he said. I believe the bluebirds were listening in his backyard. Perhaps he's flying over the rainbow with bluebirds right now, as he often said he wanted to do.

Search | Add | 3 | Membrillar | Formed in 1980, Membrillar burst forth as a fresh conception of "folk fusion", equidistant from dogmatism of every sign: open music, inspired by folk tradition and crossed by jazz, rock and academic music, like its four members (Eric Giles, Gustavo Lagües, Gustavo Mozzi and Willie Raimondi). Membrillar's brief experience was inscribed in the effervescent scene of the 80s and reflected in the self-titled album, released in 1983 by Ciclo 3.
