Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Regarded as one of Australia’s most popular radio singers he was contracted by the Australian Broadcasting Commission (ca. 1935) to appear in community singing events and radio musicals (often opposite Gladys Moncrieff). After returning to Britain in 1936 (under contract to the BBC), Burchell quickly established himself as a star of radio and the stage (playing vaudeville, revue and musical comedy). He also appeared in two British films during the 1940s.

Search | Add | 16 | Larry Cross | Russell Titus | Born Russell Titus in New Brunswick, Canada, he went from school into stage work and regular broadcasting. His first band job came while he was still a student and this led to several appearances as singing compere at Lowe`s Theatre, Montreal. Next came a year in New York singing with the Richard Himber and Roger Wolf Kahn orchestras. Returning to Canada, Larry starred in many radio shows, one of which ran three years without a break, and became compere of the long-running 'Merchant Navy Show'. Not just a performer, Larry was an Honours Student at the Toronto Academy of Radio Art. Following wartime service with the Canadian Army he returned to his radio work and made personal appearances coast to coast in the United States. He played Barbara Kelly`s husband in a series called 'John and Judy' written by Bernard Braden. By the early fifties Larry had decided to come to Britain and in June 1951 Geraldo used him as vocalist on his recording of 'Across the wide Missouri'. The same month Parlophone signed him as a solo artist and released his 'Castles in the sand', a song from the prolific pens of Bob Hilliard and Dave Mann. Over the following eighteen months Parlophone made good use of the Cross voice, issuing a new record almost every month. In November 1954 he was the first artist to appear on the new Embassy label sold exclusivly by Woolworth stores. With twelve issues over the next three years Larry covered many hit songs of the day, without ever making the charts himself as the Embassy discs were not allowed to feature in the sales charts. Larry had several radio airings and his natural mid- Atlantic broadcasting voice ensured him compere work on shows like 'Star Band Cavalcade' and Commonwealth of Song'. In 1955 he took over as host of a Radio Luxembourg series, 'People are Funny', sponsored by Pye Ltd. This was a programme that had originated in America in 1942 where the public were encouraged to take part in crazy stunts, with Larry`s first show being recorded in London`s Russell Square Turkish baths. Also at home on the legitimate stage, in 1955 he toured in 'Anniversary Waltz' with Barbara Kelly and Bernard Braden, and it was straight acting on stage and in film that began to take up more of his time from here on. |

Search | Add | 16 | Garra Blanca | Garra Blanca (White Claw) is the title given to a barra brava that was created in Chile by the supporters of Santiago based football club Colo-Colo. It is one of the three largest and most important barras bravas in the country, the other beings Universidad de Chile's Los de Abajo (those from below) and Universidad Catolica "Los Cruzados" ("The Cruzaders"). In early 1986 a youth movement gave rise among the various supporters of Colo-Colo imitating the Hooligans. Amid the military regime of Augusto Pinochet, marginalized members of Chilean society decided to unite and form a voice of identity.[1][2] Over the years the group has been associated with widescale violence. Fighting with security personnel, the Chilean national police, and other team barra bravas is a common occurrence. Garra Blanca leaders are reported to have an unofficial relationship with Blanco y Negro, the corporate entity that is in charge of Colo-Colo. The board of directors deny such an alliance and have only stated that the barra brava is recognized for stadium safety reasons.

Search | Add | 16 | Dean G Smith | Dean G. Smith aka Deangersmith (born 11 February 1969) is a South African–born musician and vocalist based in London, UK. His primary instrument is guitar and vocals although he began his career in Johannesburg, South Africa as a drummer and vocalist in the thrash metal band Ragnärok. He is the founding member of several South African and UK heavy metal bands from mid 80's to present day, including Ragnärok, Odyssey, 2 Dogs Funking, Brothering, PijinFist, Mouthful of Flies and Philistine. He appeared as guest vocals for The Blast and played rhythm guitar for the female fronted rock band Balance. He was the creator, producer and host of the radio show, The Metal and Hard Rock from Africa Show for Diligaf Radio. Inspired by AC/DC and Metallica in his teens, Dean founded the thrash metal band Ragnärok as drummer and vocalist in 1986. They were considered the initiators of Thrash Metal in South Africa ahead of the burgeoning metal and hard rock scene in-spite of the political climate. The band unofficially released one demo album in 1989, Troops of Thunder. During this time Dean was also guest vocals on The Blast’s 1988 self released two track 7" as lead vocalist on Little Sister and backing on Not Quite The Same Thing, recorded at Universal Studios. Their demo album was re-released as a CDR in 2018 due to new demand from fans in Europe. From 1991 onwards Dean played guitar in the band Odyssey, was lead vocalist and rhythm guitar in the band 2 Dogs Funking, founded Brothering as lead vocals and guitar in 1997, winning the Battle of the Bands. He toured extensively around Southern Africa with these bands. Projects during that time include Pijinfist and the female fronted rock band, Balance. In the UK in 2004, Dean founded Mouthful of Flies as guitarist and backing vocalist with Dan Stevenson from Fallout and Bloodstone as lead vocals and guitars. The band released Ten Negative Sixes in 2007. The album received excellent reviews by Malcolm Dome in Metal Hammer, Kerrang and all major Metal magazines, and they played numerous London venues throughout 2008 and 2009. From 2013 to 2014 Dean produced and hosted The Metal and Hard Rock from Africa Show for Diligaff Radio as a way to showcase African metal and hard rock to a wider audience. In his own words, "African bands generally have a huge struggle with regards to internet access and bandwidth issues and publicity, my aim was to get them on Radio and expose them to a wider audience, Dilligaf has an extensive fan base and provided the perfect platform to expose these bands to listeners from all over the world.” From 2010 onwards Dean has released solo albums under the name Deangersmith. Deangersmith’s latest album, Lead Us To Your Taker (Disable The Corrupt) contains ten songs released over 2020 and 2021, with the complete album available worldwide on all platforms on 25th September 2021. Originally inspired by the political climate in the world, much of his song writing on this album is driven by themes of Equality and somewhat influenced by the current Pandemic.

Search | Add | 16 | J.M. Valle | Jose Valle, Jose Manuel Valle, H/M, The Homeboy Mad, Thee Midas Touch, | Executive Producer, Songwriter, Publisher, Graphic Designer, Promoter, Writer of [l1244578]. J.M. Valle grew up in East Side San Jo (California), just blocks away from historic King and Story Roads. Mr. Valle’s grandfather came to the United States under the Bracero program, a government program that helped fill farmworker labor while a majority of Americans were serving in World War II. Mr. Valle’s parents were both farmworkers who moved to San José in the late 1970’s during the height of San José’s low-rider capital to work on the computer assembly line. While Mr. Valle’s parents were chasing the American Dream, Mr. Valle endured a flawed education system, police harassment and brutality, and everyday survival of the barrio. J.M. Valle founded the Souleros Ball in 2009, which undeniably was the first public event where Rare Oldies (Soul Harmony/Low-rider Oldies) record collectors gathered to spin their prized collection in front of a live audience. The Souleros Ball indirectly embarked on an entire movement and market encompassing Oldies vinyl nights, old school cholo artwork, and contemporary recordings of the Rare Low-rider Oldies sound. Although the Souleros Ball showcased live performances since its inception, the Souleros Ball became a game changer in 2011, after a live performance by Myron and E of Timmion Records (Finland, Europe). This event constructed a bridge between contemporary recording artists and the Raza. At Mr. Valle's request, Myron and E performed a cover of The Exit's "Under the Street Lamp", which later led to a record contract with Stones Throw Records. During the same year, Wax Poetics Magazine released a cover story of the growing Chicano Rare Oldies scene which featured Mr. Valle and his contributions to the movement. In 2015, J.M. Valle wrote and directed the screenplay for the The Jack Moves "Joyride" (Wax Poetics) music video. The music video depicted la Chicanada with cameos of OG Dave (Barrio Brawler), Victor Barrera (Duke of Earl Movie), Roberto Hernandez (SF Lowrider Council), and Big Serg (The Principal). Filmed in San José, San Francisco's Mission District and Oakland, the video is also dedicated to Sonny Madrid, founder of Low Rider Magazine and Teen Angel, both of which had their break in San Jo, and passed during the same year. After trial and error, J.M. Valle formed Thee Baby Cuffs made up of Joe Narvaez, Gilberto Rodriguez and Dave Herrera and began his songwriting and producing career. In 2017, Mr. Valle self released a rendition of Larry Sanders’ “Where Did Peace Go” backed by The M-Tet (Bay Area). Mr. Valle re-worked the lyrics to describe the plight of Raza and re-titled Larry Sanders’ protest song to “Where Did Our Pride Go”. Digital formats and streams were released during anti-presidential inauguration protests nationwide when Trump took the White House. A 45 release followed during the same year on Cinco de Mayo. The following year in 2018, Mr. Valle wrote a song titled, “My My My Baby” about his early relationship with his wife, getting married and having a family, yet challenged by family members who naturally wanted to shield their baby girl. “My My My Baby” was recorded as a demo which never came to surface at Chris Lujan's (Lugnut Brand Records) studio bedroom. Cold Diamond and Mink (Stylart, a subsidiary of Timmion Records) cut an uptempo version which gave both Mr. Valle's songwriting and his group, Thee Baby Cuffs an international platform. In 2019, J.M. Valle released a reissue of Suenos “Baby I Love You” with the Spanish version as the B-Side for the first time on 45. J.M. Valle previously reached out to band leader Frank Lizarraga to perform at the Souleros Ball in 2013 in the band’s hometown in Sacramento, Ca.. Suenos “Baby I Love You” was originally pressed in 1982 as a single on San Jose’s Luna Records with a Spanish version released on their album the following year. The Spanish version never cut as a single and the sought after English version never made an album release making this reissue unique. Aside from Mr. Valle’s music career, he also wrote for Street Low Magazine making two cover stories, one of which being R&B Bay Area artist, Davina. Mr. Valle also broke the Souleros Ball in an article he wrote in Street Low Magazine which had Benjamin Bratt starring in the La Mission movie as its cover story. Mr. Valle also wrote for Teen Angel Magazine including its cover story of tattoo artists Pistolero Viejo which was also the last issue to print. J.M. Valle has also curated various art shows featuring art from prison and local artists. Lastly J.M. is known for his work in the community including prison reform, prisoner’s human rights, working with youth, historic preservation and mural advocacy. |

Search | Add | 15 | Trompa | The song not yet composed, already broken hearted. Trompa ("french horn" in Brazilian Portuguese) is a Brazilian instrumental free-improvisational punk band that plays a particular kind of emotional, mathy, post-hardcore. Although it has never been officially revealed (its members always refer to themselves in the plural, as "french horn players") it is known that its core members are guitar player [a4183667], drummer [a8219531] and bass player [a9550747], with a rotating cast of other collaborators, most frequently drummer [a4273234], but also drummer and trumpet player [a7959347], bass player [a4273235] and bass player [a6833730]. They are known for their radical left-wing politics [the last song on their release [r19230439] (which have song titles that refer to bank bombings and robberies) is called "A Humanidade Não Será Feliz Enquanto O Último Capitalista Não For Enforcado Nas Tripas Do Último Burocrata" which stands for "Humanity Won't Be Happy Until The Last Capitalist Is Hanged In The Guts Of The Last Bureaucrat" in english, they frequently played in squats, occupations, in events raising funds for radical left-wing causes, they're record "[r23610104]" was recorded live in an occupied school during the biggest educational strike in Brazil's history, and, overall, they have always considered themselves a punk band more than anything]; for their complete autonomy in the production of their output (which always had the phrase "pelo fim da terceirização de nós mesmos" – which stands for "for the end of the outsourcing of ourselves" in english – after the credits for each album); and also for the poetic texts for the promotion of shows and album liner notes as well as the literary and revolutionary references in they're song titles. To date, Trompa has 14 releases, all of them improvised and recorded live. Before turning into a free-improvisational band, as a quartet (guitar player [a4183667], drummer [a8219531], bass player [a9550747], joined by guitar player and clarinetist Gustavo Herscovitz from [a6142674]) they recorded a demo with three composed songs that never got to be finished or released.

He believes that music is a form of magic, which can influence people. Music can bring people into another dimensions and make them experience mystical states of mind. Search | Add | 15 | Crippling Self Doubt | Scott Dryman | This is the soundtrack to the never ending failure that is your shitty life. Part self-help for the helpless, part narcissistic sermons in “self-betterment”. This is a reflection of a poisoned sick society, and the music for its funeral. Crippling Self Doubt’s “The End Of My Rope” and “Beyond The End Of My Rope” is Scott Dryman’s expressive, personal journey through failed relationships, self-loathing, and his never ending failure, train wreck of a life. During the creation of both of these bodies of work, Scott suffered daily with feelings of rejection, personal loss, soul crushing depression, and felt inadequate in every way. Raw, honest, and emotionally draining the listener will be dragged to the bottom, and forced to see a reality few would be willing accept. After this….you can never go back. You will not be the person you were before. You will see…Crippling Self Doubt is inside of you…and it is inside of me…. |

The repertoire of the group consists of telepathic resonances received while travelling in the Spheres of Otherness and is presented through obscure electronics, eternal & eerie melodies and droning, swallowing textures. The material of the Temple will travel deep inside the listeners subconsciousness and foster the understanding of a Formless Sacrifice. The Otherness is unleashed in the surroundings inhabited by the group’s output. NOTE: There will be no official presence of Templum N.R. in the global system of interconnected computer networks. If you would like to receive traditional paper newsletters, unique artworks & exclusive audio tapes of the group, please join the official Templum N.R. subscription list.
