Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 16 | Ray Price Quartet | The Ray Price Quartet was formed in the early 60s in Sydney. Ray Price had been a member of The Port Jackson Jazz Band since 1947, then the short-lived Dixielanders in 1952, before reforming the Port Jackson Jazz Band, 1955-1962.. Besides his work as a jazz musician he was also a member of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra during the 50s as a double bass player. Defying an ultimatum from the ABC (who sponsored the SSO concerts) regarding his jazz activities, he was dismissed from the SSO amid considerable publicity in 1956. Soon after Price formed a trio for the Macquarie Hotel, which, ironically, was heard in 1959 by a guest SSO conductor, Constantin Silvestri, who gave it high praise. With changed personnel and augmented to a quartet, the group moved to the Adams Hotel's Tavern of the Seas on George Street Sydney; this residency concluded in 1966. Many famous names passed through the ranks of the band including Col Nolan, Dick Hughes and John Sangster. Signed to CBS their first release was the Sidney Bechet composed ''A Moi De Payer'' which made the top twenty on the charts in 1962. In 1965 they charted with the folk song ''Puff The Magic Dragon''. Ray Price - Banjo, Guitar Patricia Qua - Keyboard Bass and Piano Len Barnard - Drums Tom Baker - Trumpet and Tuba Graham Spedding - Clarinet , Alto and Tenor Saxophone | |

| Search | Add | 16 | Xtrememusik | Xavier James | XtremeMusik (Also goes by “Xtreme” for short, or “XM”), born on April 27, 1996 in Jacksonville, NC then raised in Saint Louis, MO. XtremeMusik is a young, passionate, humorous, critical thinker when it comes to music. At a young age, he was more of a daydreamer listening to atmospheric sounds that catches his ear what most people don’t hear in today’s world. He describes these atmospheric sounds: “Small to catch”. On his spare time, he was excessively playing video games to keep himself entertained. Until the age of 14, he discovered his favorite group (Ethereal Universe, before being added to the group) that inspired him into doing music production. Getting glimpse of ideas from a popular night-only broadcasting network known as “[adult swim]” from their commercial break bumpers, XM took action by experimenting sounds and creating adult swim-like bumpers on his personal YouTube channel, using his creativity and original sounds. |

Died April 24, 1975 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA. He sometimes went by the name "Harold RIchards". Embrugh was a vocalist who was active in the late 1920s and 1930s as a broadcast and recording artist and in the New York nightclub scene. His main instruments, after his voice, were clarinet and saxophone. Harold was part of several bands. He also was in the band for the New York World's Fair in 1939-1940. He spent several summers at Paul's resort in the Catskills. Emburgh was featured on the RCA Radiotron Varieties on WEAF, New York, and other programs and sometimes sang duets with contralto Welcome Lewis and soprano Margaret Daum. While he was known mainly as a tenor, some of the published radio guides identified him as a baritone. He performed on radio with the William Wirges Orchestra and with Zoel Parenteau's Orchestra. He recorded as a vocalist for several record labels and orchestras between 1927-1937 including Enoch Light (1927), Veo's Hotel McAlpin Orchestra (1928-29). He recorded several sides for Russ Carton's High Steppers Orchestra on the Crown label and in 1932 he made a series of recordings as Harold Van Emburgh and his Orchestra which also featured his singing. Between 1934-1937 he was a vocalist with Jolly Coburn and His Orchestra for Victor Records. He also sang with The Knickerbockers and the Joe Green Novelty Orchestra. |

Founder of Magic Waves Internet Radio in 2006, then presenter of Magic Waves on Intergalactic FM since 2009. Notably put on a series of six Magic Waves Festivals in London, Berlin and The Hague between 2009 and 2016. Also co-founder of Cyber Dance Records in 2004 and Per Musica Ad Astra in 2016, and sole founder and head of the Magic Waves label and various other smaller DIY and sub-labels. James is also known for his extensive past DJ catalogue and performances around the world as Casionova, being one of the first DJs to initiate the Italo Disco Revival, before switching to doing ambient, soundtrack, experimental and IDM radio mixes exclusively in 2017. His experiments with sound began in the early 1990s making recordings at home and experimenting with drum machines, sampler and tape as well as his guitar and fx pedals, and he has produced ever since as wide a variety of music himself as he has played on the radio - from the Italo-Electro pseudonym Casionova to his Kosmsiche and Ambient alias 4-D Traveller, with many notable side-projects along the way including Planetary Technicians, Esper Connection, Celestial Mechanics, and various others. While the Casionova alias was retired from active duty in 2017 various edits have since appeared on labels like the cult Centre Neptune and the archival Italian label Giorgio Records. He currently goes mainly under the 4-D Traveller and Planetary Technicians names for electronic productions, and The Dusty Wizard for presenting radio and his lo-fi rock guitar work. James is known for his passionate independent anti-industry stance and belief in Undeground DIY music and Art ethics, and this can be seen in the large amounts of home-made tape releases he puts out. He is also a visual artist, painting or drawing many of his own sleeves. | |

| Search | Add | 16 | X-Ileno | X-ILENO >X< | In the world of electronic music, X-ILENO stands out as a mysterious and intentional artist. His name, a blend of ‘X’ and ‘ILENO,’ hints at his South American roots and the endless possibilities he explores. More than a musician, X-ILENO is a social commentator, blending diverse musical influences like glitch, industrial, hip hop, and ambient trap to create genre-defying sounds. His debut album, UXCIDE, is a dystopian critique of societal injustices, challenging listeners to question the values of profit and materialism. X-ILENO’s music is a call to action, advocating for a better future through themes of unity, equality, and the fight against hate and ignorance. He believes music is a powerful tool for community building and expressing important ideas. Embracing diversity and curiosity, X-ILENO encourages creativity and progress, urging humanity to keep striving for peace and love. |

Following the death of his father and the migration of his mother to Canada, Everett had to take care of himself. His first ventures in to music was as the owner and part time operator of the Sound System Emperor Lion in 1969. He was also working at a pressing plant in Kingston before he migrated to Toronto, Canada in 1976. Working at a pressing plant would later influence him in to launching King Culture Records. In 1979 King Culture launched King Culture Records and Videos a retail record/video outlet on Eglington Avenue. The store proved such a success that in 1981 he open yet another outlet to handle the growing demand. Due to slow economy and the economic recession of the time he had to scale back to solely one store again. The store would also house his studio. As a producer King Culture has released records by Jamaican artistes such as Rod Taylor, Barry Brown and Pad Anthony but focus has been on Canadian artists such as Howie Smart, Stamma Rank and The Uplifters. Often King Culture would group a Jamaican artist with a Canadian artist on the 7" singles released on his label. In 1982 Culture received an award for the dub album »King Culture In A Cultural Mood« by the 3rd Canadian Black Music Awards 1981. The same year he also received awards for Reggae Producer of the Year and being Top Reggae Distributor. He has since then won many awards for his productions, distribution of music/videos and merit awards for his support of Canadian Reggae. |

In 1987 he recorded the song, “My Nymphomaniac”, and in 1988 he formed a two-man group called, ONE-TWO (Featuring: Jay-Bee & T. Perry). They performed a song titled, “NO”, at the RAP IT UP Rhode Island talent show held at the Roger Williams Park Temple of Music in Providence, Rhode Island. The theme was substance abuse. It was released on September 24, 1988. When the duo lost contact, Jay-Bee went on a brief hiatus and returned in 1991 embarking on a mission to continue writing and recording several projects up until 1993. He sporadically recorded and released his music in 1998, and 2001, and returned with a vengeance in 2015, reinventing himself with the name change, Johnny JayBee Barboza.
