Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 10 | Александр Сулимов | Александр Васильевич Сулимов | Alexander Sulimov is a Russian conductor, director of the Horn Players Ensemble = [a13907089]. Sulimov was born in the Vladimir region, Suzdal region, the village of Vysheslavsky in 1899. At the age of 10, he went to shepherd Nikita Kamyshenkov, who was known as the most skillful horn player. Sulimov turned out to be a capable student, quickly learned several songs and began to echo the teacher. For about 20 years, A.V. Sulimov in Suzdal and Nebylovsky districts. In 1935, being a family man, he moved to the village of Zhabrikha, Savinsky district, Ivanovo region. In August 1936, an event occurred that changed the fate of Alexander Vasilyevich. A representative of the Red Army arrived in Zhabrikha. In one of the camps, a group of horn players had gathered; the command was looking for a leader. Sulimov accepted the offer and was enrolled in long-term service in the Red Army as the leader of an ensemble of horn players. A year later, Sulimov’s choir performed at the district review of Red Army amateur performances. The success exceeded all expectations; all members of the choir were enrolled in the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Moscow Military District. The repertoire of the horn players' choir consisted mainly of Russian folk songs, as well as new items with revolutionary and military-patriotic content (for example, “Katyusha”). In the 30s, works performed by this group were broadcast throughout the Union and recorded on gramophone records. One of them contains folk songs “Oh, you’re Kalinushka”, “In the forge”, which were performed by Lidia Andreevna Ruslanova with a choir of horn players. At the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, the ensemble performed in military units. In the difficult year of 1942, the horn players went to the front. |

Search | Add | 10 | Tragic Romance | Formed in late 1987 in Los Angeles, CA., Tragic Romance was a bruising yet soaring powerhouse that rocked both the Sunset Strip and the coolest and darkest underground clubs L.A. had to offer. They were definitely part of the "big-hair"-"sleaze rock"- "Hollywood glam" scene, but it wouldn't always remain that way. Eventually they would take a walk on the darker side of the street and be fully accepted in that realm as well. In the early days of Tragic Romance, you could find the band decked out in leather pants, eye-liner, and big hair.BThey tore up the stages of just about every large and small venue in the Hollywood and L.A. Valley clubs. They would share the stage with the likes of Warrant, Junkyard, Bang Tango, Love/Hate, Vain, Jetboy, L.A. Guns and many others of that ilk. They were fully accepted into the hairband world. However, in the fall of 1989, they meandered over to the darker side of hard rock music and soon won the respect of the underground scene that featured such wicked, wild, and wonderful luminaries like Jane's Addiction, Lions and Ghosts, Human Drama, Motorcycle Boy, The Nymphs, and many more. They felt more at home in this scene where dark sounds and real poetry for lyrics were the norm, instead of the overdone, overblown, anything for a good time theme that was smothering the Strip. By mid 1990, they had become critical favorites and a rare crossover of both the Strip and the Underground. They were getting the well-deserved respect that comes to a band so serious about their craft. On any given night you might find standing amongst their regular throng of fans - some of Hollywood's A-listers such as Dave Navarro, James Hetfield, and Lenny Kravitz. In mid '93 they signed with the metal label Century Media who released the intense and soaring live CD entitled "Cancel the Future" which garnered great critical praise, and some college airplay. In the music business, its easy come and easy go, and as has happened to many-a-other band, TR was left to wither due to lack of record company support. It turned out the band wasn't heavy enough for their hardcore fan-base and they shelved the project altogether. Members: Billy Brooke - Lead Vocals Britt Wilson - Lead Guitar Phil Gibson - Bass Steph Takos - Drums Mark Vernon - Drums

Search | Add | 10 | PandolfoPaolo | Paolo Pandolfo | The Italian composer PandolfoPaolo acquired the roots of his training in the study of the centuries-old tradition of musical art in the Veneto region, where the grandeur of the sacred creations forged in cathedrals has admirably merged with the instrumental and vocal virtuosity of the irreverent theatre of Baroque Venice. A fertile union between the sacred and the profane. It is in Padua, in the ideal triangle that unites the domes of the Basilica of Sant'Antonio, the Computational Sonology Center of the University and the Pollini Conservatory of Music, that a multifaceted and unprejudiced musical compositional concept is born, free to create with all genres available. After a difficult period in the second half of the twentieth century in which “cultured” music closed in an elitist and self-referential snobbery, PandolfoPaolo decidedly embarked on the path of music as a language of communication that is understandable for the listener and of involvement for the player; all always on the path of the search for quality. PandolfoPaolo, has been recognised in numerous national and international competitions with large works including the Te Deum for solos, choir and organ, winner of the Anima Mundi competition for the 950th anniversary of the Cathedral of Pisa and chaired by Sir John Eliot Gardiner (2014), success repeated in 2017 (the only case in the history of the event founded by the late maestro Giuseppe Sinopoli). The encounter with the magic of the recording room, with the alchemies that revolve around San Giacomo - Spazio d’Arte in Padua have led to collaborations with artists of other genres, providing the qualities of an orchestrator with the most modern sounds of the pop guitar and folding the sound of the strings to the needs of the historical narration of a soundtrack. A musical dimension without borders that runs through unexplored spaces of contamination and marriages with the sole intention of sharing the joy of creativity. ImageSonika produced and published the most significative recorded opera of the composer: Musica Sacra (Sacred Music) released in 2017 Pink Quartet (Concert for string quartet) released in 2020 Along The Path album from A.D. 1221 Il Primo Cammino di Antonio (The Path of Anthony) soundtrack released in 2021 Consolazione (Concerto for Piano) released in 2021 Trio d’Amore (Suite for Piano, Violin, Cello) Francesca’s Heart (Sonata for Piano and Violin) Piano Sonata Cold Winter, released in 2022. On June 2023 the Sacred Oratorio “Il Cammino di Antonio” was performed in the majestic Basilica of Sant’Anthony in Padua, and for the occasion ImageSonika released the video series which includes the concert, a docufilm of the story and a backstage documentary of the orchestra and its conductor. Lastly on January 2024 the Pandolfo’s last works as Demons and Angels - 6 Variations for piano on “Confutatis Maledictis” by W.A. Mozart, and the Preludes for piano solo (Your Hands, Ondine and Sabato) have been recorded and published thanks to the consolidated partnership with the pianist Élise Richard. |

He was writing songs from the age of 10, which impressed [a46481]. In 1958, he was second in a contest organised by the National Association of Boys Clubs and he went on tour with [a305596]. A businessman, Woolfe Bednash, wanted to manage him and, as Bednash's favourite singer was [a27516], he renamed him Mal Perry. Perry recorded for the new Fontana label, owned by Philips, and his first single was a cover of the novelty song, "Lollipop". His big voice was put to better use with "Make Me A Miracle" and he appeared on ITV's Cool For Cats and BBC TV's 6.5 Special. [a298528] invited him to do a record signing in his NEMS shop in Liverpool, but Perry's road manager left the records in the back of a car and they melted in the sun. He was featured in a rock'n'roll show at Liverpool Stadium in 1960 and also in the stage show Wackers' Playtime with [a390808]. He was backed in the Liverpool clubs by the beat groups, Cass and the Cassanovas and the Remo Four and John Lennon asked him, without success, to record the songs he was starting to write with [a35301]. Although Perry recorded five singles including his own song, "The Girl Next Door" and had a residency at the Astor Club in London, he soon gave up the business. "My father wanted me to sing in the synagogue and my mother didn't like me being in London," he said 2007. "I didn't like it much myself. Back then, they thought you were a second class citizen if you came from Liverpool." Perry went into the family retail business and then opened his own clothing store. He often sold suits to the beat groups and he also sang in synagogue choirs. In later years, he did a variety of jobs but the urge to perform never left him. He sang media ads for Colorvision and Johnny Goggles. |

Search | Add | 10 | Irene Coelho | The singer and radio host Irene Coelho was one of the greatest exponents of popular Portuguese music in Brazil. Although Brazil, throughout his life, he devoted himself entirely the spread of Portuguese culture. Literally, Irene changed the samba fado. Born in the city of Rio Claro to July 4, 1921, the artist was baptized as Irene Aparecida Raymondo. His father was Calabrian and his mother was Rio Clarense, Portuguese daughter of Leiria, a city of the province of Beira Alta. So I ran in the veins of the Italian artist and blood Lusitanian. Upon completing 12 years in 1933, he was living with his family in the railway village in Alto da Serra (current Paranapiacaba). To the amusement of the locals had the Club Lira Serrana where Irene had his first contact with fado - and was in love with this musical rhythm! When he was 15 years asked for the consent of the mother and stepfather to study singing and Portuguese guitar with Professor Alfredo Bastos, a renowned guitarist established in the city of Santos, São Paulo coast. Bastos ran a program in the Atlantic Radio entitled "Saudades de Portugal", broadcast weekly on Thursdays. It was here that Irene premiered at Radio. It was advertised as Irene Raymondo and always heard the following comment: "Raymondo is no last name for a singer." But soon arrumaria a new last name ... Around 1939 Irene began to study singing with Professor Joaquim Gallas, in São Paulo. He met Manoel dos Santos Coelho, a Portuguese "good looking", marketer and also a student of Gallas. The fact is that the two fell in love and eventually married in July 1940. After nine months of marriage, Coelho presented his wife with a radio program. They christened it with the name of "Portuguese Melodies". Premiered on Sunday, 13.4.1941 by the waves of Radio Cosmos. Irene always referred to the program as her "first child". At a time when women were repressed - most husbands did not like to see their wives become artists - the case of Irene was the opposite: Manuel was the biggest supporter of his wife, he contributed as can for her to become a "star" . In 1942 the couple Rabbit decided to try his luck in Rio de Janeiro - cultural and artistic hub of Brazil. The interpreter's intention was to make a record. It reached its end after three years, when she was hired by Continental label, on his first album 78s are set the fates: "Eternal Love" (Antonio Ferreira / Américo Morais) and "Your Guitar" (Belmiro A. Veiga). The monitoring was in charge of the guitars of Antonio Ferreira and Fernando de Freitas. Throughout the period that remained in the "Marvelous City" received the support of the singer Manuel Monteiro. In 1943, Irene received from Monteiro and Joaquim Pimentel slogan that accompany life, "Little Princess of the Portuguese Song". Back banner capital, Irene and her husband continued the "Portuguese Melodies" program, which throughout its history has gone through several radio stations. However, not only music lived the couple Rabbit: one occasion Manoel Monteiro advised his friends and colleagues to open a typical Portuguese restaurant, with music on weekends. The idea was to set up a fine place for frequency families of Portuguese-São Paulo community could spend a weekly average. Manoel Coelho has had experience in the business, always worked as a trader in the food industry. In 1953, it was inaugurated it "Marialva" Rua Luis Goes, 994 in Vila Mariana. Inside was a unique site dedicated to fado: the "Retreat Marialvas". Business followed the wind in saves and Rabbit couple toasted the anniversary of the IV Centenary of São Paulo with a new typical restaurant: the "Solar da Alegria" in 1954, located at Rua da Consolação, 394. They acted feedback artists and the very Irene Coelho (headlining). When "Portuguese Melodies" completed its silver jubilee in April / 1966 Irene and Manuel decided to treat yourself to a walking trip to Portugal. Her because Bilge strong desire to see the country that he loved so much and to review their relatives. Between the months April to June / 1966 traveled from end to end Portugal. In Lisbon, the two attended all fadista city environment. Irene sang, as a special guest in some fado houses. He recalled with nostalgia the great night out beside the diva Amalia Rodrigues. During his career he was the target of many honors. The singer recorded several albums 78s and LPs. Their biggest hits were "Nª. Sra. Fatima "; "Chinelinhas"; "Neighborhoods in Lisbon"; "Miraculous Izildinha"; "Cachopa do Minho"; "Seven skirts" and "Bailinho sprouts." In the early 2000s, the artist was quite ill. The program was retained for more than six decades in the air. Search | Add | 9 | Sirr D'Kay | Salar Peyhani | Sirr born January 06, 1987 in Tehran, Iran is a Danish record producer, rapper and film photographer. He is the founder and current CEO of [l=Kbh All Stars] and [url=http://www.allstarstudio.dk]All Star Studio[/url]. Sirr started his music career at an early age of 13, writing & producing music in 2000, but wasn't active in the music business until 4 years later. Soon he teamed up with childhood friend [a4725991], and started a musical collaboration together. In 2003 they formed the hip hop group [a=Ripz], with friends from school/neighborhood and began writing and producing new experimental material. The group had 3 rappers and 2 singers, so they named their style/genre "Hip PoP", a mixture of 2 genres that represented their individual styles and roles in the group. In 2004 they released their debut album [r=7750732], recorded in only 2 weeks which included 10 new original songs and 9 remakes, remixes & skits from earlier demos. Performing was a big part of the group, so [a=Ripz] toured for a year, with singing/rapping and performed with multiple show-dancers. After the tour ended it, they decided to break up the group and end the collaboration. Sirr decided to retire as a rapper, and for the following 5 years he was only focused on producing, but in 2008, he started to manage & produce the artist Haider. He and the former [a=Ripz] member [a4725991] started writing again and produced Haider's 2nd debut single [r=6140251] together with [l744217], which had its release that same year. Meanwhile, the hit song [r=7751573] (testicles in Danish) was produced by Sirr and 3 friends from the music business, which formed the comedy-group "8Ball". The 4 members of the group (having 2 balls each), came up with the group name and produced the music video for the single, which had over a million hits on [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzKbAxOiofY]YouTube[/url] in just 2 months, without a label or any promotion. This was quite huge, considering that the population of Denmark only being 5 million people and music streaming on [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzKbAxOiofY]YouTube[/url] was still new in 2009, was pretty amazing. The group went on a club tour, performed together on stage as Ronnie Lennett the lead, David Bertelsen the rapper and Sirr as the DJ. After 8Ball's second single [r=7751699], Sirr left the group and began producing for multiple artists. Later, in 2011 he discovered the twin brothers "Mark & Tim". They formed the group [a4726108] together and began producing their first EP, which was released the following year, including a music video, that Sirr directed, produced and released through his record label [l=Kbh All Stars]. After the [a4726108] project ended, Sirr got more into the film industry and found his new passion: making music videos, through his new film company [url=http://www.seebra.dk]Seebra[/url]. |

Search | Add | 9 | DJ Distorted Senses | Ben Van Roey | DJ Distorted Senses (Ben van Roey) DJ Distorted Senses is a Belgian Gabber who lives in Antwerp City. He produces and mixes all kinds of Hardcore/Terrorcore/Speedcore. He loves to add psychedelic, trippy and LSD-Sounding influences to his music and tries to do this in experimental styles. He came into the hardcore scene when he was 15 years (1999) old listening to Thunderdome CD's. This was really started by exploring the old terrorcore cd: "Hardcore Electronic Techno - mixed by DJ Freak" He started out using various types of software looking for the most suiting one and first used Cubase eventually was exploring He is now for 19 years active in the Hardcore/Terror scene. Distorted Senses already released several tracks on: - Speedcore Worldwide - Noiseaphonic - Slime city Records - Mechanical Distortion - Digital Gabba Records - Danger Murder Terror - Splitterstorm Records - ExtremeBassCore Records Actually the "ExtremeBassCore Records Record" -label mentioned is created by himself. The label releases: albums, compilations, EP's & mixes in all Hardcore/Gabber-styles but is trying to push the Hardcore/Gabber-styles that has any form of Psychedelic, Trippy or LSD-styled influences in it... He has accounts at music-sites as: - Youtube - Soundcloud - Mixcloud - Bandcamp His life which is 100% Hardcore by being Schizophrenic since he had the age of a 17 years old and the several times he experienced periods in the state of being completely psychotic, those periods led to the state of being in a psychotic state all of the time, but tempered by the use of medication which makes his psychosis into a form that could be considered more as: soft, bearable and a form of state where u keep the ability of having a clear and normal view towards reality... Also the passion for Hardcore music runs deep in his veins. It gave him the strenght he needed to face his "less fortunate" life. And Hardcore was there every day in his life, this as the only imaginable way of living life. This all makes him being worthy to be classified as: !!!100% Hardcore!!! His message in music: To come as hard, fast, to bring bassdrums to the ears that are wicked as hell and all of this madness brought with a touch of psychedelica added to it... Distorted Senses started by using Cubase 5, then he came to use Cubase 8 Pro, but he is looking and exploring things so he can step over into using the FruityLoops20 software. This by looking at and by comparing the two programs completely and by the easier and faster way of working of FL20 which becomes clear after this comparison. Greetz, DJ Distorted Senses -->2018<-- |

Search | Add | 9 | John Aidan | The Belgian Producer is known for his unique progressive trance sound. His slow type of trance is a laid-back atmosphere type, which can be relaxed to the listener. Still further, one can say that his music is a journey through the spheres and atmospheres of the melodies and sounds. But always with a penchant for melodic trance John creates it skillfully to connect the individual styles together. John Aidan was born in Seoul, South Korea on the 10th of September 1982. Coming from a family of singers and musicians his passion for music started at young age. In his youth lots of his pocket money was spent on records, from then on he was excited to know how tracks were made. Johns main interest was producing trance tracks on the first place, not mixing them. At the age of 16 he made his first studio debut with his cousin Owen Replay in Brussels(Ohm Studio). After a while John started to experiment with other music styles and came to the idea of merging them together. His great influences first came from local Belgian producers and later then from the greater world star producers. John made his own way to producing tracks, did a lot of research and once and while a good friend/producer gave him some useful tips to improve the quality of his tracks.

It was conformed by the brothers Román, Rosario and Juan Alvarado. In a certain sense, stringed music, with the special use of the guitar, opened the way for Latin American Pentecostals to meet their faith with their own culture. The guitar had great influence on music, which extended to the liturgy and Pentecostal theology. Family history: Pascual and Dolores Alvarado, emigrated to the United States from northern Mexico, in the first decade of the Mexican Revolution. Pascual had fought in the ranks of Pancho Villa and Venustiano Carranza. The couple had seven children, who were born in Texas, Arizona and California. The parents and grandparents of Los Hermanos Alvarado, belonged to the first generation of Pentecostal converts of the name of Jesus Christ Hispanic in Bakersfield, California (being baptized in the name of Jesus in 1916). The Alvarado children had their religious formation under this Pentecostal community. Later they would adhere to the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus, which is the oldest Spanish-speaking group of Pentecostals of the Name of Jesus Christ, and which was founded in 1925 and incorporated in California (USA) on March 15, 1930. |
