Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Pat Fontes | Patrick Fontes | Being quoted by his peers as "Mr. Techno" this humble encyclopedia of electronic music knowledge has been there, and done that, and is still finding ways to capture the imagination of others through his music! Pat Fontes' love affair with music began at the tender age of 11 during the early 90s- collecting mix tapes he’d purchased at the local Portuguese market. As a teen he quickly progressed to buying records en mass of garage and house vinyl. By 16 Pat started DJing throughout Boston, and by the early 2000s was managing and later became owner of Satellite Records. During this time Pat was also a resident DJ and manager of the long standing often heralded, Midweek Techno in Cambridge with buddies Soul Clap. As a 22-year industry veteran and local hero Pat Fontes has shared the stage with the likes of Martin Buttrich, Paco Osuna, Timo Maas, Cassy, Pan Pot, The Orb, and Patrice Bamel. Pat’s production style is uniquely his own ranging from upbeat tech house to deep melancholic techno and house. His discography includes releases with Slumber (Amber Cox & Oona Dahl), Martin Eyer, and Derek Marin. In 2017, after being diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) Pat began focusing all of his energies towards his love of music and sharing that passion with others. “My emotions run much deeper than I could imagine and I’ve been learning how to leverage this creatively. I haven’t stopped doing what I love for 21 years- and will continue ‘til I physically can’t, and have since left my mark on this world of music and beyond.” Fontes is excited to share his upcoming release on Re.tune and Future is Now Recordings with the world, as well as some gems from techno’s past, present, and future |

| Search | Add | 4 | Johan De Wilde | Johan De Wilde | Belgian artist (°1964), mainly makes drawings. His chief premises are: the absence of any hierarchy between images and of fundamental distinction between abstraction and figuration, the spectator´s imagination as the container of the invisibly present 'actual' images, the 'noise' as an obstacle between the perception and the imagination. Studied Graphic Art at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent, Belgium. After a long and influential stay in Scandinavia, he returned to Ghent where he now lives and works. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Open Circle Party | "...its 'Open Circle Party' because a party is a celebratory gathering as well as a social or political force... and its a circle - well, anything is really - but its an 'open circle' in the sense that both the music and the band are open-ended and participation, improvisation and chance are encouraged and invited... this present album is a studio project by the two of us, but we are organising performances for which the band will expand to six or seven members and hopefully some form of that expanded line-up will feature on the next album so, yeah, its really an ongoing 'open circle party'..." "...the album has two extended tracks that are like two sides on an old vinyl album... its not too long an album by current CD standards, but its about the same length as the 'Love Supreme' album by John Coltrane or Santana's 'Abraxas' or an old Nick Drake or Beatles album or whatever... and we like 'side-long' tracks that get into a mood or a groove and stay there for a good while, like Fela or Ali Akbar Khan or electric Miles Davis, music that changes constantly with subtle variations and which feels like it can go off in any direction at any given moment, like life, like sex..." "...each of the two pieces on the album is based on a live, solo performance which was then developed and manipulated in various ways... the basis for the first part is an electric guitar feedback improvisation in an altered tuning, and the second is based on a rhythm performed on Indian tabla drums... each initial performance, the guitar feedback and the tabla groove, went on for about 17 minutes and was recorded in one take, and the album grew organically from that simple foundation... by overdubbing we played along with the basic tracks with no preconception or plans, and when we agreed that something sounded interesting we worked with it... the process was completely free and improvisational and for that reason exciting and engaging for us as the composer/performers because we never knew how it would turn out..." - from an interview with Chris Basile in Melbourne. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Cichocki Music | Piotr Cichocki | Polish musician, pianist-composer and producer. Performs under the alias Peter Universe. He records live at 432 Hz, treating the studio as an emotional diary. His one-take album "Ad Libitum" was captured outdoors, “where melodies flow through my fingers like time through a clock.” That same instinct birthed “Despertar,” an audiovisual tale of human duality. Cichocki wrote the script; National Opera dancers Ana Kipshidze & Eduard Bablidze perform it pro bono in a 2024 video filmed by Splash Media on the SOK stage (thanks to director Marcin Celiński), complemented by a photo-book and mixed by Miguel Alsem. He also leads neo-classical/jazz Kids of Universe (flagship) and improv-driven Pat Trio, touring Iberian clubs and festivals and dropping regular singles. In 2024 Cichocki joined bass legend Wojtek Pilichowski to form funk-fusion Funk Armada; their "Para Llevar" debut single previews the forthcoming album, his kaleidoscopic keys sparking against Pilichowski’s trademark slap. From intimate solo sketches to multimedia stories and collective funk blasts, Piotr Cichocki proves that imagination is his finest instrument. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Isis Graham | Isis Graham | As the modern era of dance music dawned in the mid 90s, a teenaged Isis Graham (Esette) glued herself to MuchMusic's Electric Circus and absorbed every beat of the house music boom. Every instant moved her to the core of her being: the rainbow of lights, the writhing bodies, the headphoned maestros on the decks. And most of all, that beat. That relentless roll and cycle of kick and snare, hat and keys, bass and vocal, elevating her soul and moving her body in her bedroom all alone. That same teenaged Isis still lives on in the body and mind of one of Calgary's stalwart hubs of community and music. If she ever reflects on that first tentative moment gracing the decks in a warehouse in 1999, does she feel the circle closing? Does she know that the local scene ringleaders she looked up to then, pulling together musicians and artists to create communal spaces of communication and expression, are now her? Music is one thing, and community another, but for Ms. Graham the two are mutually and irrevocably linked. As an ardent believer that progress for one means progress for all, Isis spends as much time tweaking EQs as she spends meeting, collaborating and planning with her musical peers. Ten years of promoting women in dance music as one engine behind Girls On Decks are already behind her (with another lifetimes worth of years ahead), residencies and relationships from gay bars to raves notch her belt, and a current residency at Habitat Living Sound includes not only a monthly night of soulful, techy, deep house, Nu*Movement, but a groundbreaking collaborative music production and networking effort called Studio Social. At the root of it all is the music. The hypnotic, spiritual, relentless music. After collaborating with Western Canadian mainstay Neighbour in 2008, the releases have been coming fast and furious, and only barreling faster as she takes up a leading A/R spot at recently revived Calgary label Substation Recordings. Her sounds are widely strewn across the spectrum of house and independent music – techno and bass are as likely as intimate songwriting fare, and her samples and vibes range from the funky to the deep and back again. The music that drives Isis feeds her soul, and vice versa, and that interplay of perpetual motion will keep this dynamic woman a key piece of Western Canada's musical puzzle for as many years as she can muster. |

As a kid for him it was a bunch of years to search and discover through the gigantic records collection some of the most fantastic and rare masterpiece of these decades. Nowadays these memories bring back a new kind of creation for him. Music lover, DJ, producer Joel is active in the electronic music genre for more than 15 years. All has begun with The Badgers back in 2002 with two second hand Technics turntables. He was party manager of big electronic music festivals in the east of France and after that he started to produce some dark techno / minimal tracks with his best friend as The Badgers. After numerous music productions during more than 10 years in the dark techno / minimal branch with the Badgers (Creepy Finger Rec, Plankton Repellent, Momentum League, Killing Machine Rec. and many more) Joel decides to make a solo project to explore the another creative side of his personality, deeper and funkier. “Nasty Preacher” is the new born of this choice. “Nasty” was how some people portrayed the music his influences. “Preacher” is a nod to James Brown. There is only one objective, to create a good workout for your hips… Style: Electronic Musics Town: Stuttgart Labels: Groove Division, Alien Abduction, Momentum League, Absolutely Dark Records, Restore Music, Complex Textures, Select Case… Artists: Dan Gessulli, M.I.T., Technicalissues, Bredes Fernando, Damolh33, Nino Blink, Terry Whyte, Magda, Marc Houle, Dominik Eulberg, Red Robin, Heinrich & Hirtenfellner, Siopis… and so many others Influences: P-Funk, Disco, Classical Music, Progressiv Rock, New Wave, Synth Pop, Soul, Rhythm and Blues, Jazz… Indeed the type of music is not so important. It traces its roots in December of 1991 when a group of musicians started to schedule concerts in their spare time and receiving for that a formal appreciation by the Minister of the Culture of the Republic of Latvia, composer Raimonds Pauls. On January 3rd of 1992 — also in order to substitute the old Band of the Baltic Military District (Baltijas kara apgabala štāba pūtēju orķestris) that was a Military Band of the Soviet Army then stationed in Latvia — the orchestra began to work officially as the Orchestra of the Latvian National Armed Forces. Its first CD "Latvijas Republikas Nacionālo bruņoto spēku Ceremoniju mūzika" was released on February 15th of 1999; the second CD "Impresijas" had been released in 2001 and the third CD "Dziesmu Saule" has been released on June 2007. The Orchestra of the Latvian National Armed Forces participates into many International Military Festivals in many countries such as Austria, Belgium, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom. | Search | Add | 4 | S.T.R.E.F.F | STREFF | STREFF (Nikita & Sveta) is an underground dubstep/hardcore/dubcore project conceived in the ex-USSR authoritarian state of Belarus as a form of music protest against corrupt politicians and practices. Originally STREFF was formed in 1997 in Minsk (Belaurs) by Nikita Chudjakov and Dmitri Protasevich. They've started with the old-school hardcore and jungle, after few years moved to industrial-noise and then discovered for themselves the DHR sound. In the 1999 another member Svetlana Shljachova joined STREFF. "We've always liked an experimental music that's why we always tried to express our passion for fat, rough beats, noisy textures and whicked samples. We like to fuck up the sound in a weirdest manner we can. The other aspect is that music can not only be fun but also a powerful weapon in the right hands. We hate racism and all kinds of discrimintation and dictatorship existing in a different proportions and created by different people all over the world. So STREFF is our weapon to fight with the all these things". With releases on underground Fact Records (Israel) and squat-based Glocal (France), concerts in Belarus and Russia and after 10 years of hibernation STREFF is back at it again. "STREFF is reborn to bring the attention of all like-minded people to the problem of Darfur. It's happening right now but it seems that nobody wants to hear about it. So, we'll scream!!! This new record is meant to be a message, an activists project and a way to collect some money to the organizations helping in Darfur. It's not about profit, we want to help bring peace and do something constrictive with our music, instead of just entertaining party people." The STREFF new short album with remixes 'DARFUR" 'Dafur' is released under Creative Common license for FREE. Download STREFF mp3 album for free and If you like it - DONATE whatever amount you can TO NGOs HELPING IN DARFUR! |

| Search | Add | 4 | Khanada | Khanada is the solo project of Andy K. Smith, former frontman for the Post Punk band, Peeling Grey. After a three year absence from the local music scene, Andy Smith returns with new material. Khanada is a continuation of the direction of his former project, while breaking new ground and creating a sound of its own. This effort will feature not only the results of time spent alone, but also collaborations from across the spectrum. As opposed to committing to album releases from previous endeavors, Khanada is a singles based project. New songs will be released regularly, sometimes weeks after their completion. One of the goals of this project is to bring the listener closer to the point of inspiration of songwriting. Album releases are great, but they can be a long and drawn out process. Over time, from the initial spark to mastering, certain elements of a song can change. Hence, a singles schedule may retain some more of that genesis. That's just one of the things that will set Khanada apart from the past | |

| Search | Add | 4 | King-Kill/33° | Combining disorienting visuals, conspiracy mumbo-jumbo, and tautly-wound electric/eccentric rock, King-Kill/33* was absolutely one of the most exciting and intriguing groups of the Atlanta indie rock scene peak of the early '90s. Forming in the summer of 1990 in the "King-Kill house", (the band) took it's name from a James Shelby Downard essay published by Adam Parfrey in his book Apocalypse Culture. "The essay is about the Kennedy assassination" bassist Donna Smith explained in an interview with Mouth magazine shortly after the group's formation. "It has a lot of numerological and Masonic symbolism. King-Kill/33* was a plot to kill the divine king, which was seen as the only Catholic and non-Mason President in some time," to which vocalist Mitch Foy, who suggested the name added, "The essays are fascinating, there's plenty of mind food in it, but it's not something we promote. We're not anti-Mason, we're not pro-Mason. It's a starting point to play around with." King-Kill/33* released a handful of singles and compilation appearances in their three years, but they truthfully had to be experienced live to be fully appreciated. More effectively than any other local group at the time, and usually more effectively than any visual-oriented group anywhere, King-Kill utilized an armory of films, slides, strobes, transparencies, and other sorts of visual overload, projected against and behind them as they played. Add to this Foy's affinity for provoking performance art and costumes (his most memorable outfit involved crude stilts made from "blocks of wood two feet high, with some old sneakers bolted into the top of 'em", on which he would teeter above the crowd and his band mates), and King-Kill/33* was an act not soon forgotten. -Jeff Clark (Stomp and Stammer) | |
