Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Rymanowski Brothers Polka Orchestra | The Rymanowski Brothers Orchestra is renowned in the capital district of New York State. Their legacy started in late 1947 in Cohoes, NY by brothers John & Alex and has sustained continuance to the present day. This distinction has given them the title of the capital district’s most favorite, longest running, Polish-American polka band. In addition, undoubtedly, one of the longest running bands in the nation. The band expanded to an eight and nine piece orchestra in 1949. During the late 1940’s and through the 1950’s they recorded on the Lamb, Decca and Stella record labels. In the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, John’s sons, Dennis & Jerry joined the band at which time was scaled down to a five and six piece group. In 1974 the band recorded an LP entitled, “We Believe In Polkas” their last recording was in 1981. Their newest recording, “It's About Time” was released in 2010 and was an immediate hit. With the CD hard to keep in stock, the demand is just overwhelming. Currently it is being aired on all Polish-American programs nationwide as well on all the internet stations. The group, not only plays the best in polka music, but have long been known to exhibit the versatility to play a wide variety of American pop and American standards to please just about everyone.

Search | Add | 3 | Tu Hormona | Tu Hermana | The real name of the band is "Tu Hermana" (Your Sister). By copyright issues it ended up correcting each copy by hand so that it appeared as "Tu Hormona" (Your Hormone). A note from 1998: https://www.pagina12.com.ar/1999/suple/no/99-02/99-02-11/199.htm Now it's called Tu Hormona another travaladna “Essentially it's rock, but in the middle there are broken songs, quiet, chacareras, joda... There is no coherence of style. We try to do what we like”, says Gustavo Jove, drummer of Las Pelotas. But his definition does not respond to Sokol and Daffunchio's band but to Tu Hormona, the quartet that has just released a well-treated first rock and blues album. It's called Where are the keys? and the distribution for now is underground. “It's what happens to us all the time”, they say to explain the origin of the prosaic question that gives the CD its name. Whoever roams the underground probably knows the group as Tu Hermana, their first name before a patent issue forced them to rename themselves. A couple of changed vowels, and the insolent Tu Hermana became the curious Tu Hormona. The line-up is completed by Mariano Mahía on guitar, Juan Pablo Pagano on bass and singer Claudia Canga, alias Köla, much closer to Patti Smith than Natalie Imbruglia, to get an idea. “It started as a project of Köla and mine”, Gustavo recalls. “We wanted to make music without any preconceptions. We're pretty brainless in that sense." They recorded the album in the Los Angeles studios (owned by Las Pelotas), in the middle of the calm mountains of Nono, Córdoba. But the fact of being related to a consecrated band does not make things any easier for them. At least that is deduced from the lyrics of the second song on the album, “What are you working on?”: “A thousand years rehearsing / to be able to play / in some dark pub / that they won't even pay me”, sounds in the chorus. The hard life of the Argentine rocker? "It's that if after spending all week carrying newsletters everywhere, carrying equipment, rehearsing, pasting up posters at night with paste, an asshole comes along and says 'ah, yes, but that's not work...'", Jove reprimands with his head and concludes, tense: "Go wash your ass!". https://elsiestero.com.ar/efemerides/gustavo-jove/ "...Parallel to his work in the group then led by Alejandro Sokol, Jove founded Tu Hormona together with his wife and singer Claudia "Köla" Canga (who would later also participate as a backup singer in the classic "Será" and "Abejas" by Las Pelotas ) and ventures again into the world of the underground until the dissolution of the band..." |

Search | Add | 3 | Urar | URAR is a Pula-based trio whose work started in April 2016 as a duo consisting of Dejan Gotal (vocals and guitar) and Emil Rojnić (drums). Later that year, Aida Dražić (baritone saxophone) joined in and URAR stepped into 2017 in full force. It was a year marked by lots of hard work, creation and affirmation of the band’s sound identity and the resulting live performances. After a great many rehearsals, the band recorded their first album and played several gigs in and around Pula, Koper, Ljubljana, Nova Gorica and Zagreb. This trio distinguished by some quite dissimilar personalities, diverse musical preferences and influences grew into a unique collective which secures an avant-garde musical expression of joyfully depressive colours through a fusion of numerous music genres, charisma and simplicity.

Initially motivated by a well respected lunch room battle rapper, Hans set out to get the attention of the lunchtime crowd. By the end of his senior year Hans acquired the stage name “Flawless” (given to him because of his incessant desire to pen perfect rhymes) and went on to cause such a lyrical upset at the school’s talent show, that the principal banned rap from any future shows.

Search | Add | 3 | Frozen Silk | Band info (Info state 11|2020) FROZEN SILK - that's hot and powerful power rock from Bremerhaven, which is its personal genre defined in a thrilling mixture of catchy pop elements and grooving heavy hard rock! This impressive stylistic variety is supported by the characteristic voice of the front woman Sharon Wynne, who captures the full range of deep emotions with her expressive singing, from pure energy and willpower to deep melancholic abysses, brought to life. Biography: FROZEN SILK was founded in 1997 under the name "SILK" in Bremerhaven and was able to convince its audience and critics with numerous performances in its debut year. After the band won the renowned "Live in Bremen" music contest in 1999, they presented their highly acclaimed debut album "Power" the very next year, which was released under the now extended band name "SILK 99" on the Superrock-Records label and subsequently pre- sented live on a nationwide promotion tour. After more than 100 equally successful and ex- hausting performances, the band members decided in 2006 to go their separate ways and pursue their own projects. Fortunately, this decision was already revised in 2011, so that a new chapter of the band was opened under the name FROZEN SILK with only slightly changed original line-up. Since 2011 FROZEN SILK has been a constant guest on regional and nationwide stages and has made a more than good name for itself as a rousing live act. The band not forgets to transmit their musical power to the audience again and again, but also to demonstrate their qualities to critics, editors and presenters. Since 2018, the four musicians of FROZEN SILK have also been retreating into the studio again and again to work on material for a new album in parallel to their live activities. The re- lease of "Back to life" is scheduled for spring 2021. Line-Up: vocals - guitar - bass - drums - Sharon Wynne Normel Müdeking Rolf Lange Christian Schmutzer Highlights so far since 2011: - Deichbrand open air festival in 2017 - Final Emergenza music contest (Hamburg/Markthalle) in 2016 - Support Stahlzeit (Maerzfeld) in 2015 - Shows in the London YouTube-Studios and at Alley Cat (London) in 2014 The stage has been shared so far with a.o.: Kleinstadthelden, Stahlzeit (Maerzfeld), Terrorgruppe, Hurricane Dean, Anchors & Hearts, She ́s got Balls, Faak Marvin, Rauschenberger u.v.m. He is the founding member of the industrial hard rock band KC DeVille and the power pop group The Avenu. Search | Add | 3 | Luis Groove | Luis Díaz Ferrero | With some renowned tracks and remixes on labels like his very own Lowpitch and Overall Music, and with a career that dates back to the 90’s in Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. Luis Groove surely is one of the rising artists in the spanish underground music scene. Whether it's because of his role as Label Manager on his own digital imprint Lowpitch for the last 4 years, where important artists of the new electronic music spanish wave like Hanfry Martinez, Javier Carballo or Julian Perez had their very first releases on the market. Or because of his U Wanna Escape? party hosted in clubs like Sankeys Ibiza with guests of the like of Sonja Moonear, Maayan Nidam, Alex Picone or Binh. He has shared the booth with every top artist on the scene and his sets have been heard from all around Europe at clubs and festivals like Altavoz Festival, Tag Club (Venice), Chalet, MFG Club (Berlin), Cirque Paradis (Paris), The Ditch (London), La Ruche (Laussane), Goa @ Fabrik, Weekend, Charada (Madrid), Velvet, Heaven (Gran Canaria), Miniclub, Friends, Foc in Festival (Valencia), Sonar Off, Life Parade (Barcelona) and now based in Ibiza at the most of the clubs and events around the island like Ushuaia Beach Club, Space, Pacha, Destino, Booom or Privilege. All this, leaving behind important residences last years like Sankeys, Plan Be, El Ayoun in Ibiza or Club 7 Madrid. And in Tenerife being part of the most biggest events like Eolica Festival, Magma Meeting or Sunblast Festival playing almost at every edition and warming up the dancefloor for people like Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola or Luciano. His very first residence was with just 18 years old at the Club-Afterhours BB+ Tenerife, where he left a deep mark in the whole scene, after ten years (1999-2009) in front of the saturday night and sunday morning sessions. With an experience and a musical background that only years can give, his sets guarantee quality, class and know-how. The energy and charisma he transmits to the dancefloor in every set is reinforced by his style, always versatile and chameleonic, oscilating between raw deep house, tech funk or dub techno, with a high doses of breaks and filtered disco. Passionate and romantic about the good old analog sound, vinyl records and everything old school related, Luis holds the groove in a perfect balance between modern and classic, effective and sofisticated. Something that he want to show in a new project with his partner in crime Fran Cabello for this upcoming new year 2014 landing a new “only vinyl” record label. With future releases of Luis Groove as a new alias “Ferrero” and colaborations of artists like Alex Picone or Julian Perez. |
