Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Jennifer Ryall | (Biography excerpted with edits from poparchives.com.au) Sydney singer Jennifer Ryall (b.1956, now Jennifer Thomson) was 16 years old when she released Everything's Alright, recorded when she was still 15. Her first recordings were jingles for 2WG, a Wagga Wagga radio station. This led to a prolific childhood career singing jingles for TV commercials, and television appearances. As a result of her success in Sing For Shelley's, a competition run by Sydney radio station 2SM, 15-year-old Jennifer Ryall was signed to Warner Brothers. Her recording of Everything's Alright was used nationally to promote Jesus Christ Superstar and was nominated for Best Female Vocal Single at the Australian Record Awards, in 1972. Colleen Hewitt won with Carry That Weight). She released her second and last single Summer Song in 1973. She then Ryall worked in newsrooms at Sydney radio stations 2WS and Triple M and sang in Sydney venues, solo and in groups, including a stint at Sydney's Comedy Store in the 1980s. She trained as a primary teacher in the late 70s, lived in London for a while, married, and raised two children. As a music teacher, she delivered a schools program for Musica Viva in the 90s. She is still (2020) living in Sydney. Her son is the jazz pianist, composer and arranger Matt Thomson.Full biography at link below.

Search | Add | 3 | Invernomuto | Invernomuto is the name of the artistic personality created in 2003 by Simone Bertuzzi (Piacenza, 1983) and Simone Trabucchi (Piacenza 1982. They work and live in Milan). Invernomuto is the author of a series of research projects structured in time and space, from which cycles of interconnected works derive. On a common theoretical basis, Invernomuto tends to think in an open and rhizomatic manner, developing different outputs that take the form of moving images, sounds, performative actions and publishing projects, within the framework of a practice defined by the use – as diffuse as it is precise – of different media. Reality is observed according to documentaristic principles and interests, but for the purpose of creating an imaginative and almost abstract representation, which offers wide margins for reflection and critical interrogation. In particular, Invernomuto investigates subcultural universes, moving through different practices, in which the vernacular language is one way of approaching and appreciating oral cultures and contemporary mythologies, observed with a gaze that aspires to be cross-fertilised and regenerated by it. The declared inauthenticity of some of the materials used plays a fundamental role in this process, which underlines not only the real but also the fictitious and distorted nature of the realities that Invernomuto explores.

Search | Add | 3 | Boileroom Productions | Marcus "Direct" Mickens & Arun "AJ" Ranganathan | Boilerroom Productions also spelled Boiler Room Productions was a two man Hip hop production/DJ company in Middletown, Connecticut (late 80's - mid 90's). The members were Marcus "Direct" Mickens & Arun "AJ" Ranganathan who decided to join forces and form Boiler Room Productions in the late 80's. The group made sample based beats using the EMU SP-1200 & Akai X7000 Sampling Keyboard. The duo went on to produce several records for many local Artists. Some got signed to major labels and others released their music independently. Boiler Room productions had a long list of artists that never got signed but made several unreleased and unheard demos of classic 90's Hip Hop. Both Direct and AJ were Hip Hop DJ's and like many 80's & 90's producers they scratched and mixed records both in their production and at CT parties they would throw to support their endeavors. The production group eventually dissolved in the mid 90's. Boiler Room Productions was featured or contributed work either partially or entirely on the following commercial and independently released records as either Producers, Co-Producers, lyric & music writers and/or Dj (cuts). The artist called this release his "reflection in techno music", for this reason he "reflected" his artist name. At the time the artist established his main alias [a547453] as a "commercial" electronic artist & remixer of pop/rock songs, so he didn't want to shock his numerous pop fans with this experimental underground sound. |

Search | Add | 3 | Blackguy | Blackguy spent his youth in the streets of north side Omaha. The St. Joseph, Missouri born rapper moved to Omaha, Nebraska at the age of eight. In 1991, he ran into producer L-Mac-N and has been dropping rhymes over hot hip-hop instrumentals, honing his clever lyrics and street knowledge over whatever style of beat thrown his way. Blackguy is a veteran rapper who established a name for himself in 1997 as member of the group Full Clip. The debut album entitled “Stuck In The Game” (distributed by ichiban) became an underground classic and Blackguy was an immediate standout. His distinctive style, articulate delivery and his humorous but hard-hitting wordplay has always set him apart. Even now he is one of the most under-rated MC’s in the Midwest region. His current independent album “Think About It” is being released by StatusOne Recordings through Black Smack Records; a label founded by Blackguy and long time friend and producer L-Mac-N. In 1998 Full Clip’s second release “Late Night”, hit the underground market but unfortunately Ichiban; the company responsible for the groups distribution, filed for bankruptcy. Just one year later Blackguy made the decision to release a compilation album with Shonuff Records entitled “Back Stage Pass” followed up with his first solo album “All About Me”. As Blackguy’s entrepreneurial spirit continues to thrive Black Smack Records will release remixed versions of all Blackguy’s independent label work as well as more albums and compilations from Omaha’s finest.
