Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Nazti Skinz | NAZTI SKINZ’ brilliant concept consisted of four talented and well known personalities who only wanted to play five shows, write six songs, and release 500 copies of a crummy looking record. This, they thought, would safely undercut the probability of ultimately sucking as most bands do. As a result, they cashed all their chips in here and recorded the most brilliant single nobody’s ever heard. A one time pressing of 500 copies that vanished faster than they did.

Search | Add | 2 | Wolfen Herz | Wolfen Herz is a band born in Rome, Italy from the ashes of Rage Of Pain and Painting Blood. Originally the group was composed of Rocco Faruolo on guitars, Fabio "Anarchybrain" Varrone on bass and vocals, Oleg Chulkov on drums. In 2009 Anarchybrain left the band and Angelo "Lothar" Depalma arrived on bass and vocals. The band changed its name to Painting Blood maintaining the Death Metal style of the previous formation. The band goes on until 2011 when Rocco Faruolo leaves the band for personal reasons. Instead, Anarchybrain returned to the guitars. At that time the band changed its name to Wolfen Herz and released two albums: "Raw Material" written almost entirely by Anarchybrain and Tile Of Conquest composed entirely of songs written by Chulkov and Depalma. In 2016 Anarchybrain leaves the band due to artistic differences. From 2016, the band made a reload with a new guitarist. Later, a second guitarist and Master of Keyboards joined the pack. Now the new line up is composed of: Angelo: Vocals/Bass Emiliano: Lead Guitar Alessandro: Rhythm Guitar Valerio: Keyboards Oleg: Drums

Search | Add | 2 | Jerome De Pietro | Jerome Di Pietro | After studying electro-acoustic music Jerome taught himself to play drums and joined his first band. Training as a tape-operator he worked alongside [a=George Chkiantz] ([a=Led Zeppelin], [a=Jimi Hendrix], [a=Rolling Stones]) and was soon engineering his own sessions. Armed with the knowledge of the recording studio as an instrument in its own right, he collected his own equipment and started making music. Within a year he was working for the UK band "[a=Dodgy]". As well as programming on ‘[r=412266]’ he produced the additional music which dovetails the album tracks and contributed b-sides and dance mixes. He joined the band for the UK leg of their album tour then returned to the studio to remix the whole of the album. The result, '[r=11765341]', was well received on its release although it was overshadowed by the band's well publicised split. It is available as disc 2 of the greatest hits compilation 'Ace A's and Killer B's'. Post [a=Dodgy], Jerome continued working with Nigel Clark - their singer, bassist and main song writer. Together they collaborated on the music for "2by4", “Refuge” and other film/tv soundtracks. The pair also worked on ‘fader5000’ – a band and multimedia project for which they recorded the unreleased album ‘Make Believe Love’. As ‘Baroque Dub’ Jerome has produced a number of eclectic underground releases. The album ‘It’s A Lifestyle Thing’ is considered by many to have been at the forefront of the bootleg and mash-up scenes. A part-time member of the Birmingham (UK) hip-hop/funk/reggae collective ‘Munchbreak’, he is also integral to the live experimental space funk of ‘FuzzMagic’. He now runs a netlabel promoting predominantly digi-dub and mixtape releases. |

Frontman-Shaman of the same Young Gods, Franz Treichler produces and mixes the duo's debut album. If a balearic sun rose in deep space, Sunisit would certainly be the soundtrack. In the early Eighties, Cesare invented techno-rock sampling with the Young Gods, where he played the funkier side of the dark splendor of the band. At the dawn of the Nineties, POL emerges from the swiss scene of electronic body music, dancing accompanied by pounding post-industrial apocalyptic visions.

The group’s founding members were lead vocalist Sam Chambliss who also played trumpet. Lead Guitarist Denis Wilcox who also shared lead vocals. Drummer, Clarence Acox, Keyboard player Gaylord Young and a horn section that featured Ray Baldwin, Jabril Radhid and Nick Ceasar. They had all met while studying music at the University of Wasington. Sadly both Gaylord Young and Nick Ceasar are now deceased.(As of 2013) Elbowed-Out became regular performers at local area junior high and high school gigs, their repertoire included cover versions of songs made famous by the Blackbyrds, Crusaders and Herbie Hancock amongst others. They eventually graduated on the Seattle club scene, where they featured as the support act for the likes of James Brown, The O’Jays and Tower Of Power. Elbowed-Out later went out on the road securing touring dates across Canada. A connection was made which led to the band performing in the Pacific islands of Singapore, Indonesia and Japan. But after a period of circa Twenty year’s together they eventually disbanded and all went their separate ways.

Search | Add | 2 | Jacky Kingue | Georges Jacky Eyadi Kingue | Jacky Kingue, whose real name is Georges Jacky Eyadi Kingue, was born on 27 September 1987 in Yaoundé. He is the son of the late Robert Kingue and Mouto Ntonè Jacqueline Cécile, and grew up in Douala, within his maternal family. After a somewhat chaotic schooling, due to a lack of financial means, he stopped his studies in the fifth grade, when he was fourteen years old. From this difficult period, he kept the emotional memory of his late paternal uncle, Ngando Nicolas, thanks to whom he and his older sister were able to attend school until they obtained their primary school certificate. When he stopped studying, Georges Jacky Eyadi Kingue took on a series of odd jobs, while his mother struggled to support the family. A teenager's life made up of deprivation and resourcefulness. During these years, Jacky forged a warrior's soul, with his passion for music as his only weapon. And to do as the grown-ups do, despite his family's reticence, he tinkers with his own instruments, which he learns to play on his own. Like his friend, Francis Ngombe Matanda, he was passionate about drums and made his own with old milk cans and rubber from used inner tubes. Both dreamed of becoming professional drummers. Finally, in 1999, Jacky gave up the drums to devote himself to singing. He then took his first steps as a singer in one of the cabarets in his neighbourhood in Douala. Despite the lack of a fee, he played there every night after his day's work, under the protection of one of the group's managers, the artist Dany Mouandjo. Only tips served as a salary. But his real apprenticeship came a few months later, during a tour of the band in the south-west of the country. He learned to use his voice as an instrument. Back in Douala after twelve weeks of touring, Jacky decided to leave the group to become a travelling singer. In 2001, at the request of singer Kaïssa Pakito, he joined the cabaret La Belle époque. He stayed there for a few months, before joining the Brasseries du Cameroun Orchestra. But in parallel to his musical activities, he decided to open a hairdressing salon in order to ensure a fixed income. He had learnt this trade a few years earlier from a friend. One evening in 2001, his singing talents were noticed by Prince Ndédi Eyango, one of the stars of Cameroonian music. The latter decided to produce his first solo album entitled Patou. The album was a success and Jacky Kingue became known to the general public. He received many awards, including the male revelation of the year 2002. Buoyed by this success, he left Cameroon that year to settle in France. In 2004, he released his second album Un pas de plus / One more step and parted company with his producer by mutual agreement. At the time, he wanted to broaden his horizons and fly on his own. But above all, he wanted to go back to school. He learnt about computers, in order to be able to make computer-assisted music. Anxious to improve his musical knowledge, he also attended the conservatory. Through hard work, he became not only a songwriter, but also an arranger. Over the years, he created a small production label (Kiharold Production), wrote songs and produced albums for other artists. In 2010, he released a maxi-single entitled En charge, which unfortunately did not meet with the expected success. Six years later, another maxi-single Open became a great success. In 2020, he scored withe a revived Chérie Coco, a song written a few years earlier. As soon as the single was released in March 2020, it was a huge success. After the aforementioned (maxi) singles, Jacky Kingue presented his new (third) album containing fourteen completely new songs on 14 November 2021 from Hotel St. Christopher's in Paris. |

Search | Add | 2 | Second Change For Better | This Depok (Indonesia) based punk rock unit has been known as boys that love to play fast-beat songs. Raised by 90's skate punk, Fat Wreck-esque, and some Indonesian punk rock band legends, such as Konflik, Speak Up, Kuro!, Mary Ann and No Label, they really dig that melodic punk rock beats. They chose Second Change For Better as their name. For some years, the quiet time struck in after the 6 songs on their first Demo was released in 2010. It was the beginning of 2016, when this unit decided to continue the works that was not finished yet. "Story Has Begun", the single that was released in that year, defined that they are truly into this business. The single Vice Versa was released in early December 2019 and it also marked as the birth of their debut full-length album, Symptoms. The album is released by two independent record labels in two different countries, Rise & Grind Records from Indonesia and Fast Decade Records from Finland. No sign of slowing down after all these years!

Search | Add | 2 | Joe Marmilich | Joe Marmilich, Sr., | Joe Marmilich was born on February 28, 1924. His parents were John Marmilich, a well known and gifted tamburaši, and Helen (Dellich) Marmilich. Their other son, William, passed away at a young age. Joe began his musical career in 1935 at age 11. At age 13, Joe was playing the bugarija in his father John's band. About 1940, John led The Happy Hearts, a family band which included Joe on bass and the three girls -- Millie, Katie, and Louise. The Happy Hearts played together for nearly 10 years. By now, Joe was writing music they used in their appearances. Also, in 1944, Joe married Caroline Scacchetti. Their marriage was blessed with a son, Joe Jr. The Marmilich girls also married and became know as Mildred Markulin, Katie Pezell, and Louise Repko. Joe joined George Skrbina's Balkan Serenaders in the late 1940s, playing second brać. Their many 78 RPM records and years of radio programs made The Balkan Serenaders known far and wide. In 1950, Joe joined Dave Zupkovich and his Balkan Recording Orchestra playing both the cello and second brać. Joe Matacic played lead brać, John Krilich played bass, and Dave sang lead and played the bugarija. During this time, Joe also formed The Slav Serenaders and in 1956 rejoined George Skrbina. In 1963, Joe formed the Marjon Recording Orchestra and recorded its first LP record featuring his rendition of the now famous "Mama Draga Mama". They also made two LPs of just kolo tunes and Joe became known as "The Kolo King". Joe passed on his love and knowledge of tambura to his son, Joe Marmilich, Jr., who began playing bugarija at the age of 14. For the next 26 years, father and son, along with numerous other tamburaši, performed throughout the tri-state area. Joe Marmilich, Sr., devoted over 60 years of his life to tambura music and also gave 37 years to the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. in its electric repair shop, retiring in 1997. Joe was an active member of the Infant of Prague Guild of Campbell's St. John's Church and the CFU Lodge 185, also of Campbell, Ohio. Joe was also a member of Struthers, Ohio, AARP chapter. |
