Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025

Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Fun For Malakai Fun For Malakai was founded around 1989 in Ottawa by guitarist Ian Lefeuvre, drummer Dave Hubenig vocalist Chris Swail and bassist James Milks. Hubenig was replaced by Peter Von Althen around 1991. The band had a strong following locally, performing regularly at Zaphod Beeblebrox, Barrymores and The Downstairs Club, but never managed to gain popularity outside of Ottawa. Their timing may have been off as well, as their sound didn't fit with the emerging Grunge scene or the more playful acts like the Barenaked Ladies. The group disbanded in 1993 after Von Althen left to join The Skydiggers. Lefeuvre and Von Althen later worked together in the bands Starling and The Hundreds and Thousands.

[ENG] SADISTIK WARFARE was born from an idea by Nuno Santos, who is the guitarist in Amputate, to do something outside his comfort zone, since until today he had only played in Death and Black Metal bands he decided to do some Thrash Metal. After composing 3 songs he invites his friend and former Amputate drummer to take care of the drums and than invited two friends from the Algarve, to participate in this project, for bass, Hugo Conim (Dawrider, Dragon's Kiss, The Limit, etc.) and for vocals, Roberto Raposo (Sortilege). This Thrash Metal project was born from here, which has its biggest influences on the German Thrash of the 80s. Initially it was supposed to be an author's edition, but they decided to send the songs to publishers, the first label being Selvajaria Records who immediately said that he wanted to edit the demo, and as a result the band did not contact any more publishers. The band immediately started working on the artwork and design for the demo, which work was left to vocalist Roberto Raposo and the collective chose the title of one of the songs for the title of the demo, which is called Seeds Of Hate. The demo features three original songs and a cover of the Wild In The Streets song by Circle Jerks, which was part of the 1986 skateboarding film Thrashin'. The band is already working on new songs for what will be their first full-length, the sound identity will follow what was done in the demo. The band line up is composed by: Nuno Santos on guitars, Phillip Stengele on drums, Hugo Conim on bass and Roberto Raposo on vocals.

She is currently a member of the Philippines women's national team. She debuted in the Philippines with the United Volleyball Club (originally known as the COCOLIFE Asset Managers) in the Philippine Super Liga. Career College Mau started her college career at University of Minnesota before transferring to University of Arizona for her last 3 seasons. In 2016, she was named as part of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Third-Team All-American team. In 2023, she entered the Harvard Business School. Club Mau played for Indias de Mayagüez in Puerto Rico from 2016 to 2017 and Volley-Ball Nantes in France from 2017 to 2018. Mau returned in the United States when she dislocated her shoulder and undergone surgery. On her return to the Philippines, she suited up for the Cocolife Asset Managers (United Volleyball Club), a team in the Philippine Superliga (PSL) in 2018. She moved to the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers another PSL team in 2019. In early 2021, Mau had a brief stint with Puerto Rico side Changos de Naranjito at the 2021 Liga de Voleibol Superior Femenino. Mau rejoined F2 Logistics after her playing in Puerto Rico. She was expected to play in the 2021 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference but her team opted not to participate. She would later help F2 Logistics clinch the 2021 PNVF Champions League title. Then she went on to join Athletes Unlimited in the United States. Mau is set to play for a team in Athletes United in March 2022, although she remains committed to rejoin F2 Logistics once again once her stint in the US pro league is done. National team Mau has represented the Philippines in international volleyball, particularly at the first leg of the 2019 ASEAN Grand Prix. She took part in the national team's training camps in Thailand and Japan leading up to the 2019 Southeast Asian Games before being declared ineligible to compete in the regional games after she was found to have failed to meet a two-year residency requirement set by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). While she has obtained a Philippine passport in early 2019, she is still a member of USA Volleyball and had to transfer to the Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas (now the Philippine National Volleyball Federation), the Philippines' national association and served two-year residency before being eligible to play for the national team in FIVB-sanctioned tournaments. In June 2021, Mau was allowed by the FIVB to represent the Philippines.

Search Add 2 Leigh Barron Leigh Baron was a Chicago pianist who moved to the Denver area. He appeared at the Sheraton Hotel Chicago regularly and after his move to Denver – opened a dining establishment “Little Bohemia” where he and associates would entertain. He released a Band Box LP (catalog #1001). Leigh also recorded one side of Band Box single “You’ll Never Walk Alone”. The flip side of Band Box 346 was recorded by Carlin Lark – another lounge-type artist. The song was taken from his Band Box LP. The liner notes indicate that he was somewhat renown in the Chicago area prior to coming and living in Denver – where he owned the “Little Bohemia” restaurant and nightclub. A 1999 Denver Post obituary reported: “Band leader Leigh Barron, whose trio performed show tunes on KOA radio, broadcasting from the Park Lane Hotel until its demolition, died in February. Barron was also known as the man who gave folk singer Judy Collins her first professional engagement at his Little Bohemia Supper Club on West 38th Avenue.”

Search Add 2 TWNTY SVN Jesse Mays TWNTY SVN is a rap artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. His music is particularly distinctive because of the grittier, textural tones that fuel his imaginative creativity. Born Jesse Mays, TWNTY SVN was active with another stage name earlier, but he finally refined his sound and identity, kickstarting a brand new musical journey! Formerly known as Kidd Steeze, TWNTY SVN achieved many milestones since the start of his career. He appeared at world-famous events such as SXSW, as well as collaborating with a wide range of acclaimed artists and industry insiders alike. In 2017, he even teamed up with fellow artist Famous Dex to release a soaring new single, “Woah.” This was one of the first tracks for the artist to truly make waves, attracting the attention of the listener and a wider audience at large. This was only the beginning of a fantastic career in music, with one successful single after another, allowing the artist to eventually grow into the project that will be known as TWNTY SVN. With a new moniker, this gifted rapper also took the opportunity to refine his sound, bringing his lyrics to new depths, and highlighting his ability to combine modern hip-hop, with golden age influences. As a true perfectionist TWNTY SVN always goes a long way to make sure that his tracks are tailored to perfection, every time he posts something new. His sound blurs the lines between punchy rhythms, and warm melodies, with a one-of-a-kind attitude. TWNTY SVN was discovered and subsequently signed by Loyalty Over Royalty Records CEO Warren Wells placing him alongside talented musical acts such as Bizzy, DEMON, and Skully2Timez amongst others.

Search Add 2 Steve Μάμαλης You may know Steve from his appearances with various heavy metal bands at various clubs in Athens, Greece (Hard Rock Café, Architektoniki, AN Club, etc.), including [a=Leviathan (7)], who have performed many times at the Rodon club. Steve was born in Thessaloniki, but grew up in Canada. Although he had a significant career in graphic design, he never abandoned music, which he began to pursue at a very young age, taking lessons in both theory and classical guitar. His musical influences come from the entire spectrum of the foreign rock scene, from the classics of [a=Led Zeppelin] to the alternative sounds of [a=Linkin Park] and [a=Green Day]. "Είναι Φωτιά" ("Einai fotiá") is his first personal CD single as a performer and creator and includes three songs. In the title track, he covers an ELO song, while in the songs "Έξοδος Κινδύνου" ("Éksodos kindínou") and "Πυξίδα" ("Pyxída") he writes the lyrics and music himself.
