Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Shaun Ward Xperience | They say that music is the language of the soul, and nothing could be truer for this musical prodigy. Born son of jazz violinist Michael Ward, he naturally gravitated to violin at the age of 3, beginning a professional music career at the age of 9. Throughout the course of his career, his soulful touch on the violin has won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life. His creativity flourishes on stage not only as a solo performer and bandleader, but also as a music director, having served as MD for BET Music Matters Artists' Ashley Kimbrae, and The Rap Pack; appearing on 106&Park and The BET Experience at LA Live, to backing R&B Crooners such as RL of "NEXT", and Calvin Richardson. This talented musician has earned the admiration and affection of critics and fans alike. His universal appeal has allowed him to travel both domestically and internationally on Jazz, Blues, and R&B Tours, opening for artists such as R.Kelly, Anthony Hamilton, Carl Thomas, K.Michelle, Tyrese. Still, Shaun knows the story of the underdog all too well, "There's no greater feeling I get than when someone new sees my violin, wondering what could I do with it, until I play those first few notes and make it sing!" Choosing to walk his own path, Shaun is on a mission to use his platform to show the next generation how to embrace what makes them unique. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Kosmische Boy | Dan Doughty | Kosmischeboy, or Dan Doughty as his mother prefers to call him, heralds from deepest darkest Lincolnshire. Inspired by various leftfield electronic and avant garde artists KB has been making his own electronic music under various monikers since the mid 90’s. He has released two full length albums under the Kosmischeboy name, '1969 Eldorado' in 1998 and 'Clockwerk' in 2008. A third album entitled 'Kollectiv' is due in 2014. Albums can be found at: http://kosmischeboy.bandcamp.com/ KB is also a founding member of multimedia collective "Quiddity" with long time collaborator Gribbles. An electronic project described as "Fluke meet Underworld in a Warpy face off". They have released two albums so far, "Broadening" (in 2010) and "Aether Songs" (in 2013) which can be found at: http://quiddity.bandcamp.com/ Over the years Kosmischeboy has worked with other musicians both in a production role and as a performer. Past collaborations include the Dan Donovan CD "The Hexx The Ghears" (Produced by Gav Monaghan) and the krautrock/electronica collective "ProjectBlueBook". 2010 saw Kosmischeboy join forces with both Temple Music and Orchis as synth player and laptop musician, and feature on several recordings released since then. He has performed with both bands all over Europe throughout 2010/13 including an appearance at the legendary WGT Festival in Leipzig, Germany, adding his distinctive electronic edge to their Neo Folk/ Krautrock soundscapes. 2011 also saw Kosmischeboy as a winner of the yearly :Wumpscut: remix competition, with his remix of the track 'Grobian' featuring as a bonus download for the 'Women and Satan First' Boxset. 2012 saw Kosmischeboy perform at the Supernormal festival in Oxfordshire as part of Black Tempest's Space Opera, a second appearance with Black Tempest followed in 2013 at the Woolf Music festival. 2013 saw Kosmischeboy resurrect his collaboration with punk poet Eaglespits, and several UK tour dates over the Summer as Eaglespitshexx. Recording sessions also took place and these will be released in early 2014. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Willison Roos | Boise, Idaho Willison Roos has bounded onto the Boise music scene providing a “no rough edges” sound, blending rich vocals with an acoustic folk-rock backdrop. The smooth harmonies and rhythmic acoustic instrumentation make for an unforgettable sound. Their first collaborative album, titled “All These Years,” released in Fall 2012, unveils their songwriting talents and features the soulful vocal harmonies of the duo. Lyrically, Willison reveals an honest and reflective view of life’s journeys. Sunset honors moments when all is right, “In the quiet of the day, as the sun slips away I know that you’re mine.” The captivating and compelling Hear the Whisper expresses the innermost desires to reach beyond what is comfortable and “go outside to what is unknown.” Roos delivers an Americana feel and his Something in the Wind, written about the Idaho wind, conveys a foreboding warning and premonition, “The wind it blows right through me, I cannot turn away, and something tells me that I’d better listen.” His ode to love gone bad, Breaks My Heart, speaks of a longing “like a magnet, water to my thirst, a soothing to my soul…” Song for Reginaldo, a tribute to an elder that Willison met while touring Guatemala, urges the world to be “demanding that the earth breathes as one.” This collection also contains the duo’s first collaborative writing projects, Flywheel and Something Beautiful. In 2004, Jenny Willison was coaxed onto the stage by Grammy award winner and Boise native, Randy Coryell, and by 2008 had completed her debut CD in First Step. Chicago’s Relevant Radio described Willison’s sound as “Indigo Girls, with a touch of Emmy Lou Harris and a dash of Gillian Welch meets Shawn Colvin.” Matt Roos, an established Idaho musician who authored amongst other songs the state’s centennial song, Celebrate Idaho has perfected the duo’s harmonizing vocals. Roos’ roots in folk rock and jazz and Willison’s Sheryl Crow-like sound create a captivating chemistry. Willison Roos is part of the Boise night scene but also contribute regularly to one of the area’s largest contemporary worship services on Sundays at the Cathedral of the Rockies, making them appealing to varied audiences. Band members include one of the Northwest’s finest fiddle players, Charlie Burry, Marc Herring (bass), Tony Songer and Scott Learned (drums). | |

Banned from most intergalactic venues, they’re here now to share their subsonic vibrations . . . Apply at the transportation portal, for your journey into the forbidden zone . . . The Lobsterbotomy awaits . . . YEAH . . . ' The music of this three-piece outfit is reminiscent of 1960's rhythm and blues, ala The Yardbirds - fused with the Angels - and interspersed by quizzical and absurdist song titles, introducing the listener to each instrumental freak out!

With inspiration in the classical tradition and Nordic folk songs, she composes for piano and strings and adds her unique vocals and a lyrical identity-seeking universe. The scene of neoclassical music is largely devoid of female representatives, and in Eas’s category, she is completely unique.

| Search | Add | 2 | Mia Mäkilä | Mia Mäkilä a.k.a. Mia Makila (born March 21, 1979 in Norrköping, Sweden) is a swedish artist known for her lowbrow and horror art. She currently lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden. "I guess everyone's calling me a "horror artist" because I deal with difficult emotions and themes such as fear, angst, madness, rage and sorrow in my art. But I also use a lot of humour. Making my demons having fun on the canvas. You could describe my art as horror pop surrealism or dark lowbrow. My work includes mixed media, paintings and digital collages. I'm self taught, using my own techniques and constantly learning new stuff. Sometimes it works, sometimes it sucks, but that's all part of my self education. The fact that I'm also an art historian has definitely had a great impact on my art. But I’m mostly inspired by movies and film directors such as David Lynch, Ingmar Bergman, Alfred Hitchcock, Roy Andersson, Terry Gilliam and Tim Burton and artists like Hieronymus Bosch, Pieter Bruegel, Francisco Goya, Jean-Michel Basquiat and the masters of Disney Studio's in the 1930's-40's. All my collegues in the Lowbrow Art Movement are also inspiration sources." | |
