Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 12 | Monday Listening Club | MONDAY LISTENING CLUB is a globally distributed group of artists collaborating on a journey through the decades of lost music. Through patchwork, sampling lost works, collage, composition and creation... new music emerges. Led by group of 5-time platinum music producer and collaborating artists with 200+ productions / remix projects, Monday Listening Club brings together a group of diverse artists in Vancouver, Hong Kong, New York, London & Los Angeles. Their first art-project release - Lost but found This project captures the energy and optimism of artists, groups, songwriters, producers, and musicians whose stories were buried in the obscurity of the record label machine, for one reason or another. A track that was never explored, an album that collected dust, a track that was a blip in the timeline of musical consumption. Rights that were sold and merged and sold again. Masters missing, diminished quality, liner notes and credits all deleted, buried in the landfills. Magic lost to the dusty shelf of time. Our project is an outsider’s view of these stories, a journey to rediscover what was lost. To breathe fresh air through musical interpolation. A modern day collaboration samples lost vinyl with fresh tracks from around the world to create a connected, personal sound of memories past. All in the blaring sunshine of a Californian Sunday, a residual of the best weekend among friends. Monday Listening Club breathes fresh life into tracks for the “you may also like” generation, fusing together and reworking the dozens of compositions that inspired our project, all woven into something new. Inhale the smell of old dusty vinyl. Walk the overgrown path created by songwriters with stories to tell. Stories lost and found some 50 years later. Patched, sampled, reworked into something new. | |

| Search | Add | 12 | Frank McLallen | Frank McLallen | After two decades as one of Memphis’s most trusted sidemen, Frank McLallen is stepping into the spotlight with Extra Eyes, his first full-length solo album on Red Curtain Records. On this album, McLallen emerges as a songwriter whose voice balances vulnerability with poise, somewhere between the stark intimacy of Will Oldham, the luminous pop sensibility of Big Star, the surrealist wit of Robyn Hitchcock, and the sleek clarity of Role Model. Extra Eyes is a vibrant, eclectic collection that showcases McLallen’s expansive creativity and distinctive voice. Sonically, it weaves together power pop, psychedelia, and surrealist rock, while lyrically, its through-line is honesty. “It’s allowed me to write and record ideas with no goal in mind other than to come from an honest place,” McLallen says. “That means melodically, lyrically, stylistically honest. It’s what came naturally.” A seasoned figure in Memphis’s underground music scene, McLallen has played bass in Ex-Cult, backed Jack Oblivian with the Sheiks, chased twang with the Tennessee Screamers, and powered the garage-pop urgency of Model Zero. But Extra Eyes is different. It is intensely personal, written in the wake of loss and renewal as a reclamation of his love of music and his artistic rediscovery. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Tierra Cero | 'Tierra Cero' is a Mexican Boy-band that originated from the Mexican Telenovela called 'Mi Querida Isabel' (1996 to 1997), where the young actors appeared as waiters who sung and danced at a bar. In the soap opera there were around 7 actors in the band, including Paulo Quevedo (Real Name: Paulo César Quevedo de la Vega) and Christian Carabias, with other lesser known actors. Later, a contest was launched by the Mexican Celebrity Magazine 'TvyNovelas' to give the band a name, and the name that won was 'Tierra Cero'. In 1997, their first single 'Te Amaré' was included in the 'Mi Querida Isabel' Soundtrack CD and released to radio as a promotional single. The original line-up during this time was Paulo Quevedo, Christian Carabias, Rafael León (Real Name: Rafael León De Los Cobos) and Sebastián. Paulo Quevedo was the lead vocal during this time. Later that same year of 1997, their debut album was launched with Jorge Da Silva (Real Name: Jorge De Silva Murray) in replacement of Sebastián, alongside Paulo, Christian and Rafael. Their first single of their debut album was 'Porque Te Amo', while the 'Mi Querida Isabel' track 'Te Amaré' was also included in this album. For their second and third albums (1998-2000) the lineup was changed with Erick Elías and Luigi Balestra (Cousin of Daniel Merlo who is a group member of the famous latin boy-band 'Mercurio') taking the place that Jorge Da Silva (he went on to pursue acting) and Paulo Quevedo (he went to latin boy-band 'Kairo') left. Luigi Balestra was the lead vocal during this time. | |

Brazilian; living in Sao Paulo, Brazil but born in Sao Luiz (capital city of Maranhao state). Inspired by the sound of international acts like M.A.N.D.Y.; Booka Shade; Sasha; Renato Ratier; Gui Boratto and many more. That’s sort of how he got interested and started his venture in the electronic music scene back in 2005. With a bit over a decade of experience as a DJ and about over five years in the scene as a Music Producer, while he releases his music under his own record label Fundii Recordings, Cristiano Campos is also currently signed and releasing on third-party record labels such as Kitchen Smoke Records, Run On Recordings, and producing remixes for Cold Fiction Music. The artist throughout the years have rediscovered and reinvented himself and his sound, as well as refining his own skills. Cristiano Campos is actually Resident DJ for seven years now at a female fashion store (Gebrinn) located on the east-side of capital Sao Paulo, Brazil every Saturday afternoon. The artist has played already at clubs like Mary Pop (Deeping); Kitsch Club (Monde); and others…as well as a variety of private and public events, specially related to fashion brands or Fashion catalog releases due to his personal kind of experience and artistic sonority. His music genre is often described by his fans as being Deep House, though his sets may sometimes contain variations ranging from Dub-Techno to House Music itself. Always trying to keep his presentations evolving and with a futuristic approach. On his Record Label though, Fundii Recordings, the producer promotes national and international underground acts with conceptual and experimentalist works as well as modern and introspective sounds in which He believes.

| Search | Add | 12 | James Kimbrough | Born in 1926, on a cotton farm near Florence, Alabama, USA. He was attracted to country music by recordings he heard as a child, first by the Carter Family and then in the late 30s, the recordings of Roy Acuff. He was particularly drawn to the sound of the dobro on Acuff’s recordings and was totally impressed by the playing of Pete Kirby. During service in the US Navy during World War II, Kimbrough met Kirby and bought one of his old dobro guitars. He recalled years later that ‘By the time I got it, it was the most beat up dobro you ever saw but it still had the sound and I was the happiest person in the world’. After the war, Kimbrough returned to the farm and although he never became a full time musician, he played and sang with various groups. A dedicated traditionalist, his Vocals work was reminiscent of Acuff’s. He also wrote many songs such as the biographical ‘Sundown At Our Old Home Place’ and dobro instrumentals but did not record until 1973. During the 80s, he formed his own Kimbro Records and also had releases on Cattle, a German label. | |

| Search | Add | 12 | Preliminary Saturation | Wouter Jaspers, Steffan de Turck | Preliminary Saturation is the electro-acoustic, free improv, drone-duo in which Dutch sound artists Wouter Jaspers and Steffan de Turck combine their forces. To some extent, both might be better known for their solo-projects: Franz Fjodor and staplerfahrer, respectively. As Franz Fjodor, Jaspers displays a fascination for the darker side of life; with self-made instruments he creates a sound that shippers between droning soundscapes, depressed noise and dark folk. His style signature varies with his mood: from psycho chants to punk screams, from guitar oriented drones to field recordings. De Turck plays around with crunched and broken (micro)sounds, electro-magnetic waves and noise. Sometimes in a back-to-basics analogue setting, other times solemnly using his powerbook. Every once and a while, they come together in the safe harbor of one of their living rooms, pop open a bottle of wine, light some cigarettes and start improvising as long as the mood is right. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Gyrlie | Lydia Madajewski | The Dance project GYRLIE evolved from the basic need to bring sensual melodies to the dance floor. The musical DNA of the creative mind that hides behind the band’s name avor 90’s Euro-Dance rhythms as the backbone for her productions. Lydia Pockaj collected her merits working with genre icons such as E-ROTIC, Missing Heart, Apanachee and Bad Boys Blue. With the catchy tune "I Feel Sun", GYRLIE makes its successful debut in the summer of 2017, rounded out few months later by the bassy "I Feel Sun (REMIXES)" EP. Just in time before the turn of the year, the powerful single "Right Now" is released. The mystic, yet danceable song reminds of good old Euro-Dance times yet carries his own trademark thanks to its playfulness. In May 2018 "Save Me", the third and most rocking single of GYRLIE, is released. Paired with a cool dance-pop beat, "Save me" evokes spring fever on the dance floor and makes you wish for more. Just in time for the Christmas holidays, the label Laydee Records delivers a treat that does not go to the thighs, but makes you wanna dance. With the fourth single "Fantasy", Gyrlie explores the whole spectrum of danceable rhythms and romantic feelings. The result is a song that beams the listener out of the cosy warmth right onto the energetic dance floor. Also 2019 could not end without a GYRLIE release - „Tonight“ -the fifth single- not only incorporates romance and rhythm, but impresses by heart melting lyrics and the warm, yet powerful vocals. In line with the tradition, the sixth single is released in December and is carried by Lydia Pockaj’s soulful voice, while the instruments remain pleasantly discreet in the background. At the same time, the orchestral background gives the song a unique structure that makes “Far Away” perhaps the most classic title in GYRLIE's discography. More GYRLIE releases are expected and the team is also working on the full Album. The release dates are not confirmed yet. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Orquestra Típica Portuguesa | Orquestra Típica Portuguesa | Founded in 1928 by Raúl de Campos, initially with the status of "Orquestra Ligeira" and "Orquestra de Dança", it stood out for being one of the most faithful interpreters of Portuguese Music, within the scope of regional music and the "Charleston" music produced in season. Integrated into the ranks of Emissora Nacional in 1934, under the direction of Alberto Fernandes and conductor-composer Frederico de Freitas, it was renamed "Orquestra Portuguesa", being responsible for the "Popular Concerts in the Open Air", which achieved great success at the time. It was temporarily extinguished in 1938, due to economic and financial complications. It would become the model for founding similar orchestras throughout the country, such as the Orquestra Típica de Acordeão Algarvia, the Orquestra de João Nobre, the Orquestra Típica Ribatejana or the Orquestra Típica de Alcobaça. Refounded in 1942, the Orquestra Típica was handed over to the maestro and composer from Leiria José Belo Marques, who gave it an unprecedented quality and excellence, being recruited for radio programs under his own name, or for the famous "Evenings for Workers” and “Evenings for Soldiers”. During its very open activity, until the year of its extinction in 1958, it achieved surprising popularity and reputation. His large body of work supersedes his contemporaries exponentially in both quantity and quality as dozens of one-to-two hour long collections remain unpublished among his already vast expanse of releases. His electronic based sounds seem to organically transform and grow. Having been compared to peers as avant-garde as Matthewdavid, Venetian Snares and Satanicpornocultshop, it is no wonder his seemingly psychedelic-induced songs reflect better the complexities of a creature than a song itself. Smark may as well be a scientist mixing sounds in place of chemicals, constantly creating and reinventing new species of life. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Kamil P. aka TheInfluence | Kamil Piekutowski | Kamil P, aka The Influence, is a Chicago based techno DJ and producer. Kamil adopted Chicago as his hometown upon relocating from Poland in 1999. As a child, Kamil was always drawn to music. His mother signed him up for piano lessons, which also included the fundamentals of music theory. He knew from an early age that he wanted to be in the music business. Kamil was first exposed to techno in high school, and was hooked. To him, the rhythmic and hypnotic ritual went beyond mere dance music. His teenage years were spent obsessively collecting DJ sets from various artists, listening to how the disparate tracks connect into a larger musical expression. When later music making software became more affordable, Kamil was able to experiment, making his own tracks, trying different combinations of loops and effects. This gave him some understanding of how electronic music is made – especially techno – but nothing yet close to a full production. A few years after moving to Chicago, Kamil got his first set of equipment; a simple mixer and two plastic Gemini turntables. With the help of DJ Liquid (Michael Kolbasky), known for performing at after hours parties throughout the city, he used these simple tools to learn how to DJ. His gear soon upgraded: along with a prodigious record collection, industry standard Technics 1200’s and a Pioneer DJM-700 mixer were now a part of his arsenal. He got his first gigs by promoting his demos, and was playing in clubs around Chicago. As time progressed, so did Kamil’s record collection and skill as a DJ, he realized that playing other people’s music was not enough – he needed to make his own. A local techno artist, DJ Mani (Manish Miglani), introduced him to Ableton Live software, which allowed Kamil to make a finished musical product. In 2007, Kamil’s track Detown Afterhours was selected on Dobox’s compilation Resurgence. This marked his first official release, sharing the compilation with techno icons such as Jerome Baker, Lester Fitzpatrick, and Kit Clayton. After the release of Resurgence, Kamil founded his own label, Drugaci Exhibitions. Along with music from himself, Drugaci Exhibitions is also responsible for the debut releases from DJ Seoul (Bill Stacy), Hansollo (Daniel Noetzel), and Unphixd. Currently, Kamil mainly focuses on production. He has found homes in labels such as SubDivizion, UKR, Mind Burn Recordings, and Right Groove Recordings. His tracks continue to be played by artists such as Lester Fitzpatrick, Terry Mitchell, Daz Furey, and DJ Seoul (among others). From an artistic perspective, Kamil shies away from popular formats of techno, pushing the envelope towards more experimental compositions. |

| Search | Add | 12 | Gun Morgan | Jean Pierre Mathias Comoe | Artist from Ivory Coast: Born Jean Pierre Comoé aka Gun Morgan was an Ivorian musician who died on February 24, 2018. Was one of the pioneers of modern music in Côte d'Ivoire. He comes from a family of artists; in fact, he is the nephew of the Comoé sisters and the uncle of Monique Seka. In the late 1970s, he was compared to James Brown because of his talent, charisma, and boundless energy on stage. He also left his mark on the history of music in our country during the 1980s. Because he is the first Ivorian artist to come on stage with his wife and two children, dressed in the national colors (orange, white, and green). Ravaged by illness, Gun Morgan struggles to make ends meet. Just when he regains hope, his daughter, Comoé Keleen, tells us, disillusionment sets in. Gun Morgan was one of the first Ivorian artists to be informed, in 2014, about receiving this "monthly pension allocated to the elders of Ivorian music." But in the end, his name will not appear on the list. The composer of the famous song "Côcôti Kouadio," which we all danced to, is slowly dying. We draw the attention of the relevant authorities so that redress may be granted. Without income, Gun Morgan must not only care for himself and his currently ill wife but also for his survival. May the Presidency of the Republic consider the Comoé family, who brought joy to us all during Houphouët's time. The very same one who loved him very much. |

He creates music derived from a wide range of influences including ambient, shoegaze, electronic and choral. Jack Anderton began experimenting with loops on computer software before bringing in traditional acoustic instruments and working on a structure influenced by Tangerine Dream to create music coined ‘Ambient Acoustic’. Steadily more electronic elements were introduced, and also more distorted elements which touched on shoegaze. More recently Jack has produced more conventional synth based ambient electronic music still with elements of that formative style- choral vocals, field recordings, acoustic melodies.

He is the first visual artist to integrate manga culture in rap music by collaborating with many world-renowned rappers in Japan and USA. He previously left a footprint on the bands [a2220473], [a2661722], [a1738689]'s backing band, and in the last few years has also accompanied singer-songwriter Ima Teva. In early 2020, he stepped out of the shadows from Kieslowski and embarked on a solo career with the album [r=16586364] (The Darkness is Still Far Away), produced by Tomáš Havlen (Post-hudba, Zvíře jménem podzim, Spomenik, etc.). [r=16586364] ranked in the Top 20 of Radio 1's annual charts, in Full Moon magazine's list of the best records of 2020, in the top ten of Musicserver.cz's best albums of the year, and in Expres FM's selection of the best records of 2020. In April 2022, Pomahač is releasing his second solo album [m=2599649] via the label Minority Records. The co-writer of the music and producer of the record is Martin Hůla (aka Martin Tvrdý or Bonus). The album marks a new approach to writing for Pomahač. This time he did not seek inspiration in his personal life; instead the lyrics are mainly inspired by single sentences from the novels of H.G. Wells, dystopian sci-fi and the stories of those around him, weaving together tales of self-preservation and the will to survive. On the [m=2599649] album, guests include the violinist Jenovéfa Boková, cellist Marie Dorazilová, and David’s son [a2833548], who accompanies him onstage at concerts. The [a2833477] era is not forgotten however; these songs are part of Pomahač's history and are still included at his shows. |

Influenced by Bands like: Burzum, Hellhammer, Mayhem, Bathory, Dark Throne, Venom, Marduk, Mz412. Continue faithful to the movement seeded in 80's and 90's but with sonorous technology of vanguard. |

Since 2008, he has been creating distinctive and highly diverse electronic songs, free of any stylistic boundaries. Rejecting such limitations in his creative process and inspired by the best musicians in their respective fields ( https://tinyurl.com/philnite2 ), Phil Nite expertly and tastefully experiments with various musical directions while always maintaining his own unique signature sound ( https://tinyurl.com/philnite3 ). And this is a huge rarity in today's music world, flooded with countless epigones and kolkhozans. Phil Nite creates all his songs independently, mostly using Korg hardware synthesizers (R3; Micro X; microKorg MK1; Kaoss Pad 3) in his home studio in Kaliningrad. He writes the lyrics to his songs himself and sings them live at concerts. In addition, Phil Nite fundamentally does not use any auto-tunes for his vocals, either in live performances or in the studio. An important fact: from 2002 to 2008, Phil Nite played drums and sang in various purely guitar bands that used almost no elements of electronic sound. These groups mostly played proto-punk, punk rock, post-punk, post-punk revival, indie rock. |

| Search | Add | 12 | The Mid-States 4 | The Mid-States Four is the Barbershop Harmony Society's 1949 International Quartet Champion. First formed in 1942 as the Bell & Howell 4 with George Kledzik on tenor, Marty Mendro on lead, Forest “Forry” Haynes on baritone, and Bob Corbett on bass. The group changed their name to “Mid-States 4” when they left Bell & Howell and went to work for Mid-State Insurance and they sponsored the quartet. They competed in their first international contest in 1945 and placed 6th, they repeated as 6th place in 1946. That same year they won the Illinois District championship. Following that contest, Bob Rodriguez (later known as Bob Mack) replaced George Kledzik as tenor. In 1947, Arthur “Art” Gracey joined them as bass replacing Bob Corbett who was forced to leave due to job demands. They were 3rd place bronze medalists in 1947 and 2nd place silver medalists in 1948. They won it all in 1949 in Buffalo, NY. Following their victory in 1949 they went on to travel the country singing for hundreds of thousands of people. In 1950, the Mid-States 4 traveled to Korea for the U.S. troops singing 33 shows in 13 days. The Mid-States 4 went on to become well known for their slapstick comedy on stage and using musical instruments with their barbershop singing. They released three albums during their time together. In late 1957, Marty Mendro dropped out of the quartet due to job commitments and was replaced by Dick Mangunson for a short period of time until he returned around 1959. The Mid-States 4 retired in 1966 after 24 years of singing together. Mendro relocated to Arizona and Mack and Haynes relocated to Florida. They had a few reunions in the late 60’s and early 70’s. Art Gracey died in 1979. In 1982, Marty Mendro relocated to Florida and he, Bob Mack, and Forry Haynes decided to get the Mid-States 4 back together with Phil Hansen replacing the late Art Gracey as bass. They actively sang together on shows again until the spring of 1988 when Bob Mack died. Their final performance was in July of 1988 on the 1988 AIC Show in San Antonio, TX with Don Barnick of Grandma’s Boys and Keepsake filling in on tenor. Marty Mendro died in 2010, Phil Hansen died in 2012, and Forry Haynes died in 2014. | |
