Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Ugly Bluz | Swiss rock-jazz group. Established in 1984 as a blues duo by vocalist and blues harp player [a=Sleepy Dan] with the Czech guitarist [a=Lukáš Machata]. Initially performed mostly blues cover versions as “The Ugly Blues Connection” with guest players. Merged with the parallel jazz-rock project “Rat Tomago” in Autumn 1985, becoming “Ugly Bluz Connected” and resulting in a gradual style shift to free funk and ‘punk-jazz’. Adopted an unusual group naming scheme in early 1986: the attribute “…ected” was changed for every individual live performance or release, often being a commentary of the respective event. Among these names were: Ugly Bluz Injected, Erected, Intellected, Selected, Suspected, Infected, and many more (see ANVs). Disbanded in October 1988. Members: Daniel “Sleepy Dan” Boemle (vocals, blues harp, trombone), Lukáš Machata (guitar, vocals), Joel Kaiser (bass guitar), Roman Gondolán (drums, 1984–1985), Martin Pensa (keyboards, 1985), Christian Wolfarth (drums, 1985), Gitta Kahle (tenor saxophone, 1985–1986), Therese Allemann (alto & soprano saxophone, 1986), Andi Hug (drums, 1986–1988), Christian Brantschen (keyboards, 1986–1988), Tinu Schneider (trumpet, 1986–1988), Christian Germann (tenor saxophone, 1986–1988).

Search | Add | 4 | Dave Dri | David Ryan | An Australian producer and musician that founded the live electronic music act Segue, and previously a member of the live breaks act Superfluid at the time of the band's debut and subsequent tours. The experience was educational and indicative of the era, with Superfluid signing to the Creative Vibes label at the peak of the label's powers, ensuring a steady stream of radio play and high demand for both club and rave shows. The latter pulling the band further from the plunderphonic sounds of the initial album, a product of a small and collaborative community of sample-heavy producers including The Avalanches and label mates PNAU and Gotye. Superfluid would ultimately move into the harder Breaks and Nuskool Breaks sounds, switching Ryan on to the opportunity to branch out and pursue the more Acid House era sounds of an 80's child, the common influences of childhood Kraftwerk to teenage Chemical Brothers. Outside of Segue's experiences as a live electronic act, David Ryan was a guest keyboard and touring member of the bands D-KO, Silent Shadow, and Statler & Waldorf, as well as occasional solo tours, such as an unexpected invitation to perform at Exit Fest in Serbia in 2004. An unmissable opportunity that arose as a result of sampling Slavic folk songs in one of Superfluid's releases on the Creative Vibes label. The experience in the region not so long after the Balkan wars, immersed into communities connected to his Australian friends who had left as refugees from the conflict, proved immensely moving, and resulted in a highly creative period upon return. Off the stage, Ryan studied sound design and synthesis, and increasingly focused on the technology side of the industry, joining open source company Red Hat, before spinning out a publishing technology project as a tech founder and settling into San Francisco. Now back in Australia after the pandemic reset, Ryan has established a fund to begin collecting and archiving the stories and gear from Australia's early electronic music community, and is supportive of the next generation of makers and culture creators coming through Australia's creative community. |

Search | Add | 4 | The Ueckers | THE UECKERS are not an oldies group, they are not a glitter group they don't play boogie music and they don't play blues. THE UECKERS are an original baseball punk band for 2013, and their songs are brief, to the point and every one a potential hit. The duo consists of J. Uecker and B.Uecker. The two guitarists, play with such force that their sound has been compared to a hundred howling howitzers going off. The two share singing responsibilities and the drummer's (yet to be named) pulsating playing launches the throbbing sound of the band. THE UECKERS all originate from the north side of Chicago and kids who grew up there became musicians, degenerates or dentists. THE UECKERS are a little of each. Their sound is not unlike the sound of a fast drill on a rear molar. With no budget, no cares and a constant soundtrack(and press release) lifted from THE RAMONES they show their undying love for baseball and punk rock with 14 blistering budget rock tunes that when paired with a cold Old Style will get you through the summer ahead. GO CUBBIES! K-N-U-C-K! IF YOU WANNA PLAY TODAY!

Search | Add | 4 | Lyr-x-ist | In 2003 Kalo/Are-tistik returned to Saskatoon to form the group Lyr-x-st with Atrium and Aposle. It happened on David Knight Cresent, outside of Atriums house, near his cucumber fields. Lyr-x-ist released it first cd entitled Lyriks Exist in November 2003, creating a buzz around the city for its unique sound. Lyr-x-ist headlined various events and venues around Saskatoon such as the Odeon Events Centre and the Jazz Basement. Lyr-x-ist first public performance was headlining a fashion show. In August 2004, Lyr-x-ist released its first professionally pressed sophomore album entitled The Krossing. Lyr-x-ist released the album to a capacity crowd at the Odeon Events Centre in March 2005. Opening for Lyr-X-ist was ‘Dro’ of Canadian rap group ‘Rezofficial’. To date this show remains one of the largest local talent hiphop shows in Saskatchewan history, and made the Odeon a respectable hiphop venue. In the summer of 2005, Are-tis-tik, Atrium and Aposle, moved to Calgary to record their third studio album. Within 30 days they had recorded 32 songs. In August 2005, they released half of these songs on Chapter one: Riders of the North. This album received critical acclaim and international recognition in German magazines, being compared to fellow Canadian recording artists Swollen Members. Lyr-x-ist performed several shows in Saskatoon to promote the album at the Odeon Events Centre and Jazz Basement. Chapter 2 was released digitally. The Final Chapter is completed and we hope to release it sometime.
