Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024

Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 4 The Hilarious House Of Frightenstein The Hilarious House of Frightenstein is a Canadian children's television series, which was produced by Hamilton, Ontario's independent station CHCH-TV in 1971.[1] It was syndicated both in Canada and internationally,[2] and occasionally still appears in some television markets. In Canada, the series has not aired for several years. A quirky sketch comedy series that included some educational content amid its zany humour, the show's cast included Billy Van, Fishka Rais, Guy Big, Mitch Markowitz, Vincent Price, and Julius Sumner Miller.[2] Van played most of the characters on the show.[2] All 130 episodes were made in a nine-month span starting in 1971; the scenes with Price and Miller were all filmed within one summer. Search Add 4 Кали Жантлеуов Қали Жантілеуов Kali Zhantleuvov (1902-1970) - dombra player from Kazakhstan.

Although they were of the first groups to start the New Wave in Mallorca together with Forats Negres, [a=Zincpirithione] or Mac, no edit would achieve their first album until 1984. Shortly after recording the Maxi would be left without battery and was when they met Manolo Iglesias, also known as [a=Manuel de Palma], former [a=Tequila (9)] then banished by Mallorca, who agreed to fill the vacancy. But it was not too long and barely played live together, shortly after would separate group. Anyway, the separation was not final since Ivan Tobias and Juan Manuel Riera coincide in Madrid and would return to play a season together. From this period would be born in 1988 his second Mini-LP. Search Add 4 Joe C. Jones Josephus Jones Joe C. Jones (born Josephus Jones, February 15, 1942) joined his half brother Otis Munson and fellow San Bernadino California High School alumni Carl McGinnis and brothers Ken and Ted Goodloe as new lead singer of their group The Pentagons in 1959. First recording for George Motola as the Shields in 1959 ("The Girl Around The Corner," "You'll Be Coming Home Soon,") they were picked up by producer Lee Silver and recorded four sides for Donna ("For A Love That Is Mine," "I Like The Way You Look At Me") in 1960, moving to Jamie, recording four sides including their breakout hits "To Be Loved" in 1961 and "I Wonder" in 1962. The same lineup then cut 4 sides for Buck Ram as the Chesterfields on Phillips. Going solo he recorded as "Joel Scott" for Phil Spector's Philles records and "Joe Phillips" for Herb Alpert's Omen label. In 1969 he re-joined half brother Otis Munson to record four sides for various Lee Silver labels, and in 1976 four sides for AVI, including "Lucky Lady" and "Storyteller." A continuing collaboration with the Pentagon's Ken Goodloe produced several unreleased recordings including "A Year To Remember." Joe's final recording was a 1998 solo album on the High Point label "I'll Always Love You." Joe C. Jones passed away in Redlands California on September 6, 2019.

Search Add 4 Shady Stevens On January 1, 1968 two trains collided in Dunreith, Indiana about 40 miles east of Indianapolis. In the aftermath of the wreck, local singer Shady Stevens whipped up a tune called The Dunreith Accident The result of a broken rail, the wreck derailed 26 cars and caused a hydrogen cyanide spill. Another car, carrying anhydrous ammonia, exploded resulting in flames shooting 100 feet into the air. The fire spread to a trackside cannery and a nearby liquid fertilizer storage tank, which exploded blowing up hundreds of cans of tomatoes which looked like blood spots on nearby patches of snow. Along with the cannery, seven local houses were destroyed by the explosion, but amazingly there were no deaths.
