Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Paul Macmannus | French blues and boogie singer and bass player.

Search | Add | 4 | Clark Galehouse | [l=Golden Crest] Records was headed by Cold Spring Harbor resident [a=Clark Galehouse] at manufacturing premises in Huntington Station from 1956 until his death in 1983. Galehouse saw the independent record business grow from a cottage industry to a powerhouse on the back of rock ‘n’ roll music. He participated in this growth through his [l=Shelley Products] pressing plant, servicing many national labels. Through [l=Golden Crest] and other labels, he released a wide range of music from rock ‘n’ roll and rhythm & blues to the classics. Galehouse also recorded many college bands throughout the country. As a musician, plastics expert, recording engineer and educator he put his talents to full use in the [l=Shelley Products] and [l=Golden Crest] businesses. In 1953, Galehouse formed [l=Crest Records] in honor of his Creston, Iowa, hometown mainly as a vehicle for western singer Arizona [a=Cliff Martin (5)]. [l=Golden Crest] was introduced in late 1956, just as rock ‘n’ roll was establishing itself through Bill Haley and Elvis Presley. However, the early releases were mostly dated pop reflecting Galehouse’s formative years in music. Over a nearly 30-year time span, [l=Golden Crest] released more than 500 commercial albums (plus many custom releases for colleges and schools) and some 200 45 rpm singles. Galehouse formed a music publishing company, [l=CFG Pub. Co.] (his initials). This enabled him to publish much of the original material that was presented for recording, thereby providing a secondary income stream. Although the pressing plant was Galehouse’s cash cow, he loved producing and engineering sessions and would make regular field trips to record college and high school bands for custom release on the associated [l=Crest Records] and [l=Silver Crest] labels. In May 1959, Clark Galehouse launched teen label [l=Shelley], named after the principal [l=Shelley Products] business, by now a large independent pressing plant, and in turn Galehouse’s daughter. By 1965, Golden Crest was primarily an album label. According to Shelley Galehouse Broven, her father was “known and appreciated for letting artists do what they wanted, unlike many producers or label owners.” Throughout the '70s and early '80s, Clark Galehouse was still traveling around the United States recording college bands at conventions. But after a second attack, he died on the road in Jacksonville, Florida, on January 3, 1983, at the age of 71. An obituary in the Oyster Bay Guardian described him as “a pioneer in the field of recording and record manufacture.” [l=Golden Crest] Records lasted one more year, and [l=Shelley Products] was ended in 1985.

He went to Hollywood, and from 1939 directed a steady stream of low-budget and B-movies. Dreifuss became especially adept at musicals, for which he occasionally wrote the songs, and for thrillers, filmed on a shoestring budget. Colonel W Starling left on record that in the year 1895 when he was Captain of the Corps, Bro F Wheatcroft led a small company of singers with painful limitations in music and with a variety of uniforms. However, it was in the year 1902 that Captain Charlie Vallance ( then retired and living in the USA ) constitutionally organised the Brigade and commissioned the first Songster leader, John Horner.

Search | Add | 4 | PostOmnis | Sean Graves | PostOmnis is a band from Moore, Oklahoma, United States, formed in 2000. Throughout the bands history, the genre's of the band has included but not limited to: Ambient, Industrial, Electronica, Techno, Rock, New Age and Classical. The band was first started by Brother and Sister duo Sean and Sheri Graves. The only constant member of the band has been Sean Graves. Graves was originally in a New Age band called YAMA, but after the release of "The Longest Ship." He then left the band to begin PostOmnis. Between 2000-2004 the project released local demos of electronic sounds. Which saw a gradual change in writing style and genres. 2005's Conscience album was the first full length to be release on the internet and feature Sean Graves as vocalist of the band. Two singles were later released from the album on to the internet. "I was given a chance to live my dream since I was 16 and working on P.O.'s first album. I had facilities at schools and colleges. There were studios, theaters and videos to work on my craft and figure out weather I enjoyed the performance or the production side." Between 2006 - 2010 multiple albums were released, "Nos Mortuus" dubed as the project's most dark ambient album. "Insomniac People" was more electronic and industrial. The "Equilibrium" album featured the voice of Sean and Sheri's father throughout the album. 2011-2012 A revamp of PostOmnis began when Sean Graves enlisted into the United States Navy. While writing music for the band he had also traveled across the world searching for new sounds. New band members including Lor, Talios Wing, and Kevin (Guitar Guy). "After taking a long time off from working on the project. It feels really good to talk to people of like minds. People who can hear the music and take it to another world. The project has grown, I'm very comfortable with the new music and it's really exciting to be working again on the craft." |

Search | Add | 4 | Geoffrey Wood | Geoffrey Wood is an American singer-songwriter and musician based in Atlanta. The son of two musicians, Geoffrey grew up in a musical household and received a trumpet on his 5th birthday. He began teaching himself guitar in middle school and writing songs of his own shortly thereafter. After studying trumpet in college he began working as a freelance musician and educator. In demand as a performer, composer and arranger he plays and writes for numerous groups in styles ranging from classical to jazz, funk and rock. While he was successfully creating music for other projects he found himself with a collection of material heavily influenced by some of the artists he grew up loving; Bob Dylan, The Band and Wilco. With no existing projects ready to cover that music, Geoffrey assembled a new band featuring Kelly McCarty on Bass, Rhett Huffman on Keys, Matt ‘Pistol’ Stoessel on Pedal Steel and Colin Agnew on Drums. Over three days in January of 2023 his first solo album, Thank You was recorded at La Gazza Studio in Madison, GA. Agnew also produced, engineered and mixed the record. Named in tribute to the people and places that inspired his music, Thank You is a musical expression of gratitude for the journey that he’s had so far. In January of 2024 Geoff began working on an EP set for release later this year. Again recording with Colin Agnew and kelly Mccarty, this new ep will feature some familiar sounding material as well as a departure from the style established on Thank You. Geoffrey’s music is available on all streaming platforms and live videos can be found on youtube. for booking inquiries contact gpwbooking@gmail.com.
