Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Roman Zavada | Roman Zavada is a self-taught Ukrainian-Québécois pianist whose creative direction is based on instinct, spontaneity, and improvisation. With a pianist for a mother, he got to know the instrument from his early childhood, penning his first composition at the tender age of 4. He then undertook conservatory studies but quickly opted for the path of self-study and experimentation, which suited him far better. He soon developed a taste for the stage, refined his improvisational skills, and released two self-produced albums (Terre de feu, Nuit des temps). In 2005, he took on a responsibility that marked a turning point in his career: replacing Gabriel Thibodeau, the Cinémathèque québécoise silent film accompanist. Invigorated by the experience, he put together the Du cinéma muet au piano parlant show, a resounding success in regions across the entire province of Quebec. After acquiring quite the reputation as a silent film accompanist, he now presents an all-new project: Résonances boréales. Returning to his personal compositions, the pianist continues to explore the dialog between piano and images, this time substituting silent films with aurora borealis in motion in the night sky. He will put his creativity to the test in an extraordinary environment: the Northwest Territories’ boreal forest. This very particular initiative – with no equivalent in the entire world – will lead to a new album and immersive performance experience featuring 360-degree projections in February 2016. Through these two daring, authentic productions, Zavada continues like no other to push the limits of the piano, his only true mother tongue.

Search | Add | 3 | Nordens Paris | Band from Tromsø, Norway. originally put together to compete in national championship in Rock in 1980 (In which they won). Was known for a short time as The Glade Vanvidd (The Happy Frenzy) before they changed the name. Band consisted by Ronald Martin Grønås (Guitar/vocals), Kjell Nilsen (Bass), Halvard Bech (Keyboard) and Roger Lauritzen(Drums). This was the original lineup, of which managed to record one album and a single before they broke up. There where 3 additional drummers that was part of the band. -Sava Balic (Who only recorded on the single release) -Rune Akselsen (died in 2007) -Tor Arnold Johansen The band was never properly established, and after 1985, there was a constant changing lineup and the band never had any direction and faded off into history. But the band (or at least the name) survived and still exist to this day with ever-changing line-ups and doing some one-off shows locally now and then, even though none of the original members are with the band anymore. Grønås died in a fire in 1991. Akselsen went on to record with [a=Unit Five] and passed away in 2007. Tor Arnold Johansen also passed away.

Search | Add | 3 | BEATNICK DEE | Nick Doherty | Born in the Bay Area, raised in Somerset, England, and currently living in Los Angeles, Beatnick Dee is a producer whose discography includes work with Faith Evans & Biggie, Blu, Fredwreck, October London, Jehst, Ras Kass, Vinnie Paz, Trizz, Chuuwee, Michael Christmas, and Big Twins. Having grown up in England, Nick was exposed to a variety of musical genres from a young age when his father began taking him to Glastonbury Festival. Out of all the musical styles at the festival, it was Hip-Hop that really caught Nick's ear, leading to his first experimentation with beatmaking. After years of accumulating knowledge in records, gear, sampling, and production techniques, he began collaborating with artists, making a name for himself and solidifying his trademark sound. It was after a visit to LA, as an intern at Tres Records, that his mind was made up — he had to make a permanent move. Only 6 months later, it became official — Beatnick Dee was now a Los Angeles-based producer. It was this relocation which led to the evolution of his debut album, Creative Medicine, and subsequent projects, most recently his collaborative album, Patience, with rapper, Pheo, and his first instrumental project Order & Chaos. He landed his first major-label placement in 2017, co-producing with Fredwreck on a track that features an unreleased Biggie verse, alongside Lil' Cease, for Faith Evans' King & I album. With his sights set on more placements, collaborations, and sound design, the multifaceted producer is one to watch for 2020 and beyond. |

He started playing the guitar at an early age, and with his younger brother Emmanuel they formed the groups 'Everlasting', and 'Cisum' and played in Brittany during the 1970s. Bertrand also worked in ballroom orchestras from the age of 15 and this, for ten years to earn a living. In 1980, at the age of 25, he decided to leave Rennes where he had lived for seven years and moved to Paris. In Paris, he played with pianists Mico Nissim and François Couturier, saxophonist Philippe Delettrez, double bassist Jean-Paul Céléa, drummer François Laizeau, music inspired by jazz and modal music. He played in the group of the three Kabyle sisters "Djurdjura", and with the "text" singers Romain Didier or Jean Guidoni, with the progressive folk group "Gwendal", the jazz violinist fusion Patrick Tillman, the drummer Xavier Jouvelet, accomplice of organist Emmanuel Bex and his afro-jazz music… In 1981 and 82, he recorded and played with the group “Sax Pustuls”, but this one unfortunately dissolved quite quickly. It is his meeting with artists from the theater that will be decisive for the rest of his career as a nomadic musician. He became actor, musician and composer for many theater groups and shows.

Jeremy Morris of Pilgrim’s Journey and Celestial City fame adds some guitar. The resulting material is nothing like Third of Never or The Who. What it is like is Porcupine Tree’s Voyage 34, flowing spacey instrumental tracks where progressive rock meets electronica, with similar found vocals from an old record about LSD or something. Call it Voyage 34A, another great trip. The song titles provide clues to their inspirations. Sara Bell: vocals John "Rabbit" Bundrick: keyboards, vocals Jon Dawson: Korg synthesizer, guitar, low drums/bass Michael Kelly: bass Steve Potak: keyboards, mellotron Kurt Reil: drums

In 1999 he met his later wife Verena, who learned mixing from him and is now known as Lucy van Dura. They became a musical power couple, well known for his trancy style and her preference for acid and techno sounds. After their marriage in 2009 they founded Bonn Media Company and made a joint career in the music business. 2012 they started their own label [l=Looped Society Records] on a suggestion of their buddies and released their first single "Ozymandias" by Matt van Dura in 2013. These were followed by "Gilgamesh", the remixes of "Ozymandias" and their first completely joint production "Heiss EP" in 2014. |

Search | Add | 3 | Shakey Bones | "Shakey Bones played from January 2006 - August 2007. It all started in Dub-C, California. Our name came from a skeleton hand holding a broken wine glass, Zack noticed it after waking up from his sleep under the living room table, woke Sean up and said "Shakey Bones broke the glass!!!" Zack and Sean played banjo and guitar together in the very beginning, along with Stiv on the Stivharp. The beginning formation spent most of the time busking on the streets of Dub-C, and eventually recruited the upright bass playing Zeebo. We spent our first few months playing various folk/blues songs (and recorded the first 9-song demo) and eventually worked ourself into a fully functional street band. Tilton joined us ukulele soon after Stiv moved to LA, and Zeebo went on to do what Zeebo does best. Bryan joined us on bass, and this became our solid lineup."
