Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Tammorra | Tammorra is a Sicilian band founded in 1992 in Palermo. The five musicians interpret the traditions of Southern Italy and the Mediterranean in a personal way, combining both traditional and contemporary instruments with a rich range of rhythms and sounds and the polyphonic use of voices. The band’s focus lays on creating its own music singing in Sicilian dialect and mixing the stylistic diversities and strong personalities of the group members. This anthology is the most representative synthesis of Tammorra’s music. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Mission For Christ | Centered around bassist [a=John Gibson (9)] (aka JC Agnatha), Mission For Christ featured a rotating cast that was equally well-versed in full-throttle punk, go-go funk, and art-damaged junk. A loose-knit project, MFC flaunted an absurd, topical, and gleefully bizarre mesh of styles that recklessly disregarded subcultures, colors, and easy definitions. No Trend mastermind and guitarist [a=Frank Price (2)] had come aboard in 1985, shortly before the band broke-up. | |

These three projects showcase a consistent thread, blending post-punk minimalism with industrial sound design and a darkwave atmosphere. Despite their captivating sound, Weirdasfuzz and his work remain somewhat enigmatic, with limited information available and a notable absence of in-depth interviews or feature articles. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Crackerjack System | The ‘system’ was born in the summer of ‘98 when four friends came together as the group now simply calls itself Crackerjack System. The original members - Ian Minton, Matt Traynor, Simon and Josh Bader – began their musical crusade as a cover band practicing in the Baders’ basement. As the summer proceeded, the band (then known as ‘Fat Pinch’) started to flourish and create their own material. They showcased at a few clubs around downtown Toronto in order to develop a following. As the summer came to an end and they started to expand, Matt parted from the band on good terms to pursue other musical endeavors while the three remaining members met up with new bassist, Scooter. By late ‘98, ‘Fat Pinch’ became Crackerjack System and dream turned into reality. Scooter helped write and record their first demo entitled ‘Sixty-Nine Degrees,’ and booked as many shows as possible. The main goal was to get their name out and become known throughout the city’s indie scene. The Thornhill four-piece was prompted to go back into the studio and lay down some new tracks as well as put up a website to attract listeners from all areas of the world. The band teamed up with PeopleSound.com in the UK to market ‘Sixty-Nine Degrees’ and CJS was worldwide. With help from students studying at The Trebas Recording Institute in Toronto, ‘Eight Hours’ was recorded in hope to make a second CD release through our British distributors. Unfortunately, Scooter left the band because of creative differences and the group was left to find another bassist yet again. The new CD was shelved and Crackerjack System went on a short hiatus. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Gongs | From 2002 bio: The Gongs on themselves We formed in early September of 2001. We started off playing musical games using a trio of three lutes called "guys" and recorded the singles "you think i'm a terris", and "i smell..." When we found our first set of steel gongs near the train tracks, they taught us how to imitate the sounds that animals hear, as can be heard in "the bat", and "an old man talks to his dog". Now we always play with our set of amplified gongs. Originally, we were a threesome, Pete, Clara, and Stefan. When he heard us one night, Grisha became attracted to the sound of the gongs' microtones and drones, which he describes in "Evergreens [in Darkest Night]". He became the Gongs' fourth member, playing reeds (a retuned harmonium) and chucky (a super-long electric sliding stringed instrument). He discovered some splendid new techniques for playing the Chucky, such as "creating a cast relationship w/ the stratosphere", and others you can hear on our website. From the beginning, we had been in contact with "th' Man w/ the Red Steam"; we sang a few songs about him and soon realized we needed a better tool to communicate with. In January, we built this out of a collection of electronic rhythm circuits. Ever since then "th'Man w/the Red Steam" (or more correctly, "th'monument to th'Man with the Red Steam") has been helping to complete our sound. Back in October, (hal'ween to be exact) the gongs made first contact with artist/composer/producer/???, Momus, and began work on a cd for release on his label American Patchwork. We also just finished a little 45 rpm record, with 2-step, 5-step, and 7-step dances on it. Both the cd and the record will be with us on tour this summer, so come check us out. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Sk-Van | SK-VAN | SK-Van "group that began playing since 1999, its original members Sergio Gonzáles (Vos, Guitar), Fernando Miranda (Bass at that time) and Aldo Farfán (Drums) already played together since 1998 in" Less Than Zero ". At the time when Kevin Dickens (former guitarist) joined the band, the group began to form a musical style and mature a little more in every aspect, from where the first songs were born "Ritalin", "A new challenge", " Where are you? "," To my panas "themes that began to sound in the movement of that moment. Kevin was separated from the band due to problems between the members and immediately the Coello brothers (one of them, guitarist of G.O.E.) moved into the void that did not last for long, that they left the group on their own. Christian Nieto (69 seconds) was the replacement, one of the most important members that the band has had the first guitar, time where songs like "A special place", "Someone", "Beyond" were born, and at that moment They decided to record their first demo between 1999 and 2000 called "Without Knowing where to go ...". Nieto was separated from the group, at that moment Iván Casanova (69 seconds) and Andrés Parreño (Never Jamás) in different concerts helped for a moment on the bass. They received a call from Christian Guillén (Bass) who had just played with the group Rek and without thinking much he was a person to everyone's liking and is currently the new member of "SK-Van" with which they left to play outside the country and soon they will release their first album with a Colombian label "2 Many Records". They have a style of melodic punk category, combine the Emo and fast rhythms in their songs, their lyrics mostly deal with experiences that are marked in the memories of people and how to overcome them when they are negative. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Kabyzdoh Obtruhamchi | Sergey Kozlov | Sergey Kozlov, who stands behind the moniker Kabyzdoh Obtruhamchi, is Russia’s newest exporter of excellent jams. His music is a thankful surprise with its sky-rending hybridization of eastern european guitar spree & 70s snowdazed modal folkrock. Resonant drums burst through the giant aluminum churn of guitar, voice, and percussion arcing overhead. Dancing between poles of hot motion & cool mass, Sergey’s impressively energetic numbers establish themselves long enough to each become deeply meaningful, essential scenes in his pan shamanic expression. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Attilio Poto | Clarinetist, conductor, and music educator (1915 - July 23, 2003). Attilio Poto was born in Boston in 1915 but moved with his family to Italy shortly thereafter, returning to Boston at the age of nine. As a very young man, he played clarinet in a Festival Band in Boston's North End, in a WPA orchestra, and in Boston's Youth Orchestra, conducted by Koussevitzky's nephew, Fabian Sevitzky. At 24, Poto went to New York City to play in the National Orchestral Association, a training orchestra, and to study conducting with its conductor, [a=Leon Barzin], who had played under Toscanini and absorbed Toscanini's baton technique. In 1939 Poto was solo clarinet with the [a=The Metropolitan Opera House Orchestra] for all the German repertory. Upon returning to Boston in 1940 he conducted the Massachusetts State Symphony in numerous concerts before enlisting in the Air Force in 1942. He played in the 628th Air Force Band until resuming civilian life in 1946. That same year he studied conducting with Koussevitzky at [l=Tanglewood (3)]. In 1949 he was engaged as second clarinet in the BSO under [a=Serge Koussevitzky] and, later, [a=Charles Munch]. As such, he participated in some of Koussevitzky's most memorable performances: the great Strauss Death and Transfiguration, the legendary Brahms First Piano Concerto with [a=Myra Hess] (both fortunately preserved as airchecks from the respective broadcasts), and various commercial recordings, including Don Juan, the Siegfried Idyll and the Brahms Fourth Symphony. In 1950 he began teaching clarinet and conducting at the Boston Conservatory, retiring in 1992, after 42 years. He died in Boston on July 23, 2003 at the age of 88. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Echo7 | Melodic hard rock quartet Echo 7 hails from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and consists of dual frontmen Ronnie O'Briant and Dave Sharrock (both handling vocals and guitar), Frank Roop (bass) and Jason Hearn (drums). Borrowing their name from Han Solo's code name in The Empire Strikes Back, the band formed in 1999 and toured consistently throughout the Eastern seaboard before recording their self-financed Trippin' on Destiny debut. The growing regional buzz surrounding the group's accessible brand of hard rock (reminiscent of Nickelback and Creed, among others) eventually led to a deal with In De Goot Recordings, which made Echo 7's next offering One Step Away the label's first release. | |
