Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Mellotron Nights | Pablo Canalís | Mellotron Nights is a symphonic project by Pablo Canalís, where the Mellotron 4000D Mini takes center stage as the solo instrument. This iconic keyboard, known for its rich timbral palette, brings to life a work inspired by mythology and the occult, evoking cinematic and progressive soundscapes. The music of Mellotron Nights draws from the essence of classic horror and science fiction film scores, influenced by composers such as Bernard Herrmann, Jerry Goldsmith, Danny Elfman, Maurice Jarre, and Krzysztof Komeda. At the same time, it carries the legacy of progressive rock, reminiscent of Goblin, King Crimson, and Gentle Giant, while also incorporating elements reminiscent of video game music. This album is an atmospheric exploration that transports the listener into a hypnotic sonic universe, filled with evocative textures and enigmatic soundscapes. Mellotron Nights will consist of eight tracks, which will be gradually released in digital format throughout 2025 and 2026. The project will culminate in the physical release of a concept album that brings together all the previously released digital singles. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Socially Ill | Brinley Woodall | Socially Ill was a former solo project of Mississippi-based musician Brinley Woodall, born during the isolation of the pandemic as a raw, emotional outlet. Combining the grit of ’90s grunge with the sensitivity of modern indie and punk, Socially Ill explored identity, longing, and internal conflict. The early EP Mental Prisoners of the Mental Prison (2022) and the concept album Love Letter of Self-Deprivation (2023) showcased Brinley’s evolution as both a songwriter and producer, drawing from influences like The Cure, Oasis, and Bob Dylan. These projects embodied a fearless honesty and experimental edge that set the foundation for her new creative chapter. Now, under a fresh alias, Brinley is channeling those roots into a new era of sound that blends shoegaze, punk, and surreal storytelling into something both cathartic and transformative. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Bill Puka | From Columbia Records' INSIGHT Magazine: Bill Puka (rhymes with “hook-ah”) is spending most of his time these days at Harvard University, where he is writing his Ph.D. thesis and teaching in the philosophy department. Hardly what you’d call a run-of-the-mill academician either; he seems more at home on the streets of Brooklyn where he grew up than in the halls of higher learning. Up until a year ago, when Bill walked into April & Blackwood hoping to sell a couple of songs, he had never thought of himself as a performer, but since then he has been attracting the attention of an ever-widening circle of “old pros” with his many talents. He has been approached to write Broadway shows and major TV commercials; the Fifth Dimension are recording one of his songs, and cover versions of many others are in the works. All indications are that Bill Puka is one of the major discoveries of the decade. His first album on Columbia, entitled simply “Bill Puka,’” was four months in the making and is one of the most sophisticated albums in pop music today. It’s appeal, however, is universal; “Sunshine Days” and “Nothing at All” are potential Top 40 hits, “Barbara Knows” and “She's Just That Way” are due for strong MOR airplay, and “Dry Spell,” “City Nights” and “Selling Yourself Out’ are destined to become underground classics. ‘Beautiful Bird” is a perfect one-minute gem in anybody’s bag. Be prepared for a great awakening. Bill Puka is one of the real ground-breaking new talents of the seventies. —Ed Freeman | |
