Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Larry W. Jeffrey | As a child, never in Larry's wildest dreams did he imagine that music would become his life. In a small, white, country church in the Ohio Valley region of western Kentucky, he sang in the choir. Jeff, as most of his friends refer to him, received no musical training until he entered Belmont College in Nashville, Tennessee. There he became interested in music, sang in the college chorus, and took a few voice lessons; however, not until his sophomore year did Jeff decide that music was the plan God had for his life. At that time a series of meaningful events occurred which brought about this decision; a music scholarship, voice lessons, piano lessons, and churches seeking him as music director. At Belmont, Jeff was a member of the Belmont Glee Club for three years. This club toured the United States yearly and during one of these three years had a weekly television program of its own. During these years of work and gaining experience, Larry served numerous churches in Tennessee as Minister of Music. Since receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from Belmont in 1963, Jeff has served churches in Georgia and Alabama. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Bury The Bully | Whitby, Ontario, Canada Rock band Bury the Bully are really in touch with their inner Zen masters. Drummer Cala’s warm smile and polite demeanor supports the hippie-esque perspective BtB portrays. From the flower, fire and water album artwork, to the album name Life, Death & Wonder, to their love, peace, faith and freedom influences listed on Myspace, BtB emanates strong positive energy. Vocalist/guitarist Rich McPherson, bassist Mike Paglia, guitarist Steve Parker and drummer Cala (whose full name is oddly elusive) have been playing together for 10 years. After winning the Golden Ear award on Jonovision’s Jonopalooza, BtB was approached by Pete Lesperance (Harem Scarem). Along with co-producer Mike Turner (Our Lady Peace), Lesperance became a mentor to BtB. With support by their side, the boys took BtB to the “next level” and in 2007 they released their debut album Life, Death & Wonder. The result is a seamless 13 song musical journey. With lyrics such as “fight in the army of love,” “stop this life and show some insight” and “capture freedom here in our cage,” BtB serenade their listener with socially and personally aware melodic poetry. Interview With Bury The BullyBury The BullyAmidst the bleak cloud of societal complexity, BtB stands in a clear pool of simplicity. The album is threaded with the common theme of rising above adversity and whatever burdens may be preventing one from accomplishing their dream. “Everyone keeps saying we [modern society] are in so much trouble. We should really be thankful for what we have now instead of trying to control this and that. We should focus on the things we have control of and be thankful,” Cala advised. Along with being thankful for their fortunes, BtB is active and generous in supporting various charities. They have raised money through their live shows for breast cancer, “Bury the Cancer” and Sick Kids. “I suggested ‘Bury the Sick Kids’, but it didn’t go over very well,” Cala morbidly jests. Bury The BullyBtB have spent the last year touring mostly around Ontario, with many shows in and around Toronto. They are currently working on new material. “It’s pretty exciting because the album took three years and it is the fist time since that we have done anything new. We are starting to get a new found motive/outlook on what music means to us and what we can accomplish in the future,” Cala said. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Bud Willow | Mike Rebhahn | Country musician from Wisconsin and leader of the band Hillbilly Fever. From Promo Literature: Meet Bud Willow Singer-Songwriter Promising country artist Bud Willow just wanted to bloom where he was planted. His fans, however, had a much bigger garden in ind and finally convinced the Wisconsin native to Nashville a try. The result of all this encouragement and cultivation is his debut album, "Friday Never End." Produced by Nashville veteran Jack Solomon and engineered by Grammy Award-winner Tom Pick, the album features six Willow originals and two other cuts, "A Reason For the Rain" written by Willow's hero, Larry Boone, and "White Lightnin'" written by he late J. P. (Big Bopper) Richardson. Willow's album was recorded on Thunder Ridge Records, Nashville, Tennessee. "Every song he writes has heart," Willow says of Boone. "He also puts so much feeling into a song when he sings it. He's my absolute hero." But heart is not lost on any of Willow's songs. With his own heart on his shirtsleeve, the composer-crooner takes his music through the emotional gamut from heartbreak to joy, from laughter to tears and everywhere in between. "A lot of my songs come from real-life experiences," he says. "I feel if you don't live it you can't write about it." Born into a Wisconsin farm family, Willow worked a number of years as a big-rig jockey and wrote his first song in a warehouse in Eau Claire. His early inspirations include such country music legends as George Jones, Waylon Jennings and Mel Street. He has opened for several artists including Jack Greene, Sheb Wooley, John Conlee and Tom Wopat. Willow also has garnered a number of accolades including the first-place slot in the WAXX-sponsored band competition during the Jim Falls Sturgeon Festival and second-place in the GMC-True Value Show Band contest featuring 52 entries. "Everybody up home wanted me to do this," Willow said of his Nashville studio sessions. "I didn't think I had any business recording in Nashville. I just enjoy playing music. As long as people like what I do and they feel I'm good enough to entertain I'll keep on. If there comes a time they don't want to hear it I'll just go away quietly." |

| Search | Add | 2 | 3 Of The Apocalypse | In august year 2006 three independent Russian electronic musicians: Dmitri Polikarpov (Stropharia), Pavel Mikhailov (Zuboff Sex Shop, Neizvestnost) and Andrey Grachev (Neizvestnost, Yestestvoispitatel), gathered at the studio, worked and intercommunicate non stop for 38 hours. The result of that meeting was a material that didn't sound like anything that the musicians ever expected. Later on, poet and performer Alexander Lugin (Sever), who was involved into a procces, gаve a weird and cryptic name to the newborn album - "Nauch Pop La Presenta". The resulting mixture of hypnotic breakbeat grooves and techno-shamanic minimalism represents the authentic life style and mood of present-day Moscow. Members: Андрей Грачёв, Дмитрий Поликарпов, Павел Михайлов | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Rule 22 | Rule 22 is a punk trio from Chicago, around since 2001. Their sound is parallel to the melodic 90's punk, full of speed and diversity. They've done multiple tours coast to coast in the U.S. and Canada. Released four full length albums, two splits and two E.P's). The band has played over 400 shows, and supported tour dates for Rancid, The Lawrence Arms, Cobra Skulls, The Flatliners, MxPx, Swingin Utters, A Wilhelm Scream, The Germs and countless others. "an aggressive blend of hardcore, punk, and ska was like a breath of fresh air. The best way to describe their sound would be as a combination of Strike Anywhere, the Suicide Machines, No Trigger and Chicago rockers Love and Squalor. Everything about this band seemed to work together in punk rock harmony. While there were only three of them on stage, they had the intensity of eight. As their set went on, I found myself just being more and more overwhelmed by this group. Their playing had the tightness of a band that has been writing music together for many years. I could not believe that these guys are not signed because they have ten times the talent and passion of many punk bands I've heard in recent times." -punknews.org | |
