Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Doom Mekanik | Doom Mekanik is a dark techno oriented project straight out of Brooklyn. Slow, driving, and ominous with a nod to the 90s, the sound captures the deleterious grind of NYC's underground after-hours scene. Doom Mekanik takes you to the very edge... Where civilized society ends and the abyss of nothingness begins. The dark and brooding drums will shake you to your core as these tracks transport you to darkest of underground after-hour clubs.

Search | Add | 3 | Joey Vriend | oey Vriend is a 30 year old singer-songwriter. With his unique deep-dark voice he amazes his audiences with compositions resembling the atmosphere of, among others, Nick Drake and Leonard Cohen. At age seventeen Joey discovered the magic of fingerpicking the guitar, the sounds of the piano and the fragile sound of the mouth-organ. Soon after that he started composing, arranging and performing his own material. Joey loves diving into the past, in search of great memories. Past times and nature are magic to him; something intangible. Inspired by nature he writes beautiful melancholic and nostalgic songs. Joey grew up nearby the old VOC City of Hoorn in The Netherlands. This is where he met the producers Jeroen Tenty and Eric Lensink of the MI5 recording studios. A unique collaboration arose that lasts until today. Through the years Joey often travelled to Medieval Ghent in Belgium to write with poet and lyricist Andy Cartwright. In a perfectionistic endeavour Joey and Andy constantly search for the ultimate description of emotions. “Emotion” being the key word that totally depicts Joey; always searching for melancholy and hope! Not afraid of hidden emotions that get unleashed by his own and other artists music. Listening to artists like Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake and Hans Zimmer taught Joey persistence, self-confidence and resilience. This strong power of music also manifests itself in Joey’s work as music-counsellor for psychiatric patients and youngsters with serious behavioural problems. Work experiences that offer him a broader view on life. As from April 2020 Joey Vriend is signed to the independent record label King Forward Records, a label with a roster of international songwriters with a niche vision. Joey Vriend’s full length debut ‘Hiding at First Light’ is OUT NOW. Ten beautiful songs accompanied with compelling videos shot by the man himself. The new single ‘Smile’ will be released September 17. Enjoy!

Search | Add | 3 | BraneStem | See also: [a=Diskord (4)] BraneStem formed in August of 1992, by 18 year old guitarist/singer Josh Walter. In January 1993 they recorded their debut demo "Killed by Fear!!", and released it in a single run of 50 copies. In August of 1993 they recorded their follow up, "Splintered Faith", which was finished and even had completed artwork. They also produced two small runs of BraneStem T-shirts, one with the "Killed by Fear!!" artwork and one with he "Splintered Faith" artwork. However the "Splintered Faith" demo would never actually get released and Chris Alexander leaving for college in November 1993 caused the band to split up that same month. Josh Walter went on to front Diskord in May 1995 and release their only demo later that year. Josh left the band in January of 1996 and Chris Alexander joined Diskord on bass and vocals until their breakup in April of the same year.

Search | Add | 3 | HEDONIKA | Origin: Poznan, wielkopolskie, Poland Genres: rock, blues, alternative Years active: 2013 - Final lineup: Wojtek Badowski - lead vocals; Kamil Słodkiewicz - guitars; Jacek Chlebowski - bass; Krzysztof Płóciennik - sampler, trumpet; Piotr Marcinkowski - drums Hedonika is a musical and theatrical narrative that combines real stories. Something we know from autopsy, something our friends say something that listeners come to us with. From these stories we create an image of our way of life, our relationships with other people, priorities and aspirations. We do not change the world. We simply report, giving rise to a discussion about a man. In Hedonika's musical tales, as important as WORD, MUSIC and INTERPRETATION, is DIALOG with listeners. We know that each meeting brings with it a great value of interaction. We all use this wealth, and Hedonika's concerts usually become an original, unique, engaging and inspiring CONVERSATION. That is why we are the most pleased to appear in places conducive to close contact with listeners and viewers. Theater scenes, small clubs, atmospheric landscapes and even home performances for a small audience - each performance is a new experience for us, another part of the narrative puzzle. Hedonica's music derives directly from the mainstream of the author's song. Thanks to the multitude of inspirations and the flammable mix of musical tastes of the band's members, subsequent compositions are also surprising for the creators themselves. The founder of the band and its leader, as well as the author of most of the compositions, is Wojtek Badowski (vocal). The musicians - Kamil Słodkiewicz (guitar), Jacek Chlebowski (bass), Piotr Marcinkowski (drums) and Krzysztof Płóciennik (sampler) - are actively involved in the creation of the musical and theatrical spectacle.

Search | Add | 3 | Shantykoor De Headammers | Back to the atmosphere of the nostalgic sailor life, that is the intended goal of Shantykoor “De Headammers”. This choir was founded in 1989 and is part of “Water sports association St. Nicolaasga”. The choir consists of a number of basses and tenors and is accompanied by a few accordionists. Two- or polyphonic songs are alternated by songs with solo singing (shantyman) and follow-up singing (the proper shantys). Most songs are sung in German, English and Dutch or in Pidgin-English a mixture of several languages. You will be transported back a hundred, two hundred years to the heyday of sailing with clippers and schooners and to harbor districts all over the world. During the day it was very busy there and at night the sailors wasted their hard-earned money in a short time. The crews consisted of tough tough guys from all over the world, who were recruited in the harbor bars. This is how rhythmic work songs, “shanties”, and cheerful or melancholic songs for leisure time, “forbitters”, were created, the musical ingredients of the adventurous but hard seaman's life.

II Triflin released 2 EPs through Vetoed Records, entitled "Suspected But Never Arrested" (1998) and "Mississippi Anthem" (2000). "Suspected But Never Arrested" is a masterpiece although it only contains 6 tracks. You just have to listen to "Until I Die" to make your opininon. Probably one of the best rap album out of the Magnolia State unfortunately almost impossible to find. The sophomore release of the group is also very rare...
