Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Eddie Strevens | Cyril Edwin Strevens | Cyril Edwin "Eddie" Strevens was born in London in 1924. As a child he studied the violin at the Guildhall School of Music, winning a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music. He played in the bands of Ronnie Munro, Harry Parry and Roy Fox, but his longest association was with the orchestra of Geraldo, for whom he had a high regard. In 1956 that Eddie Strevens formed his own band, and passed a BBC audition. In 1959, he made the first of 89 appearances in 'Music While You Work', playing both violin and saxophone, supported by accordion, piano, bass and drums. Initially, he also included a guitar but he soon dispensed with this on broadcasts. Eddie Strevens and his Quartet played regularly in 'Morning Music', 'Breakfast Special', 'The Sam Costa Show', 'Music Through Midnight' and many other programmes. Eddie Strevens also enjoyed some success as a composer with titles such as 'Easy Come, Easy Go', 'Playtime for Poodles' and 'Getting With It'. Eddie Strevens died in 2001. |

Search | Add | 2 | Elen Diana | Elen Diana | Elen Diana, born in São Paulo in the neighborhood of Lapa on September 20, 1981, was raised in a Christian home and until then taught in the ways of the Lord by her parents who already sang and who had already consecrated themselves as great names in gospel music, Jorge Araújo and Eula Paula. A year later his sister Suelen was born, then Daniela and Jorginho. Since she was born she never hid her admiration for singing and her parents decided to put her participation in three hymns in one of her works. At just four years old, Elen Diana was recording for the first time. As a result of the repercussion of the work in 1988 Jorge and Eula then decided to record a children's album with Elen and her brothers "Vamos Louvar a Jeová" which was already called "turma do noisy" by the brothers of the church where they congregated, and so Eula decided to put the name of the group Turma do Barulho. The success was inevitable because the Turma do Barulho was everything that parents, children, churches expected, and the hymn "Vamos Louvar a Jeová" (Let's Praise Jehovah) is still sung by children all over the world. Turma do Barulho is undoubtedly the most popular Portuguese-language gospel children's group in the world and, like their parents Jorge and Eula, are part of the history of Brazilian gospel music. Elen Diana started composing when she was 12 years old. Her lyrics expressed the new phase, the entry into adolescence, with happy rhythms and lyrics, which were beginning to be part of the Turma do Barulho repertoire. Her dedication did not stop there. As she grew older and understood the importance of the work she developed with children along with her siblings, she decided to take a pedagogy course to make the work even more serious. In 2000, the family decided to set up a Recording Studio, Studio Nova Geração, which today is one of the main studios in São Paulo, since music was everyone's life. With that, everyone's potential was further enhanced, an example of this is Jorginho, his younger brother, who today is the main arranger of the studio, having even worked on an album by Shirley Carvalhaes. Elen Diana continued to compose hymns for the Turma do Barulho, but, at the same time, began to compose more mature lyrics as each phase of her life influences her compositions, making it clear that this is one of her main characteristics as a composer. He then began to show the novelty and his mother, who is his confidant and best friend, who had not recorded for seven years, because with the travels, and also dissatisfied with the compositions that appeared, then decided to launch her daughter as a composer also of the genre, as he did with several composers. Again it worked, and had repercussions all over the world, United States, Japan, Europe, Canada, with that Elen Diana became more confident and decided that it was time to release her first solo cd, as she felt the need to reach young and adult audiences as well. . Everything was in her favor, and she took it as a sign from God that this really was the right time. Her brother Jorginho Araújo was the arranger of the CD, and Elen Diana the music producer of the CD. Everything went very well, but all under the experienced eye of father Jorge Araújo, who has been a producer for over 30 years. |

Search | Add | 2 | Daniel Vasconcelos | Daniel Vasconcelos | Daniel Vasconcelos (born: October 13, 1989 ), better known professionally and on YouTube as Dan Vasc, is a Brazilian heavy metal singer and songwriter. He's a part of the heavy metal band Fearless, with whom he's released one studio album so far, Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom, (2019), as well as one EP before that, Ancient Wisdom, both of which being released independently. On YouTube, he's known for doing covers of various songs, either of bands that are already metal, or metal covers of non metal bands and/or artists, such as Sabaton, Beast In Black, as well as songs made famous in certain movies, tv shows, and video games, like The Witcher, (Toss a Coin to your Witcher, The Song of the White Wolf, and Priscilla's Song), and Mulan 2020, (I'll Make a Man Out of You). Background Dan's passion for music began very early in his childhood, but it was only in 2007 that he started to work seriously in his singing. Petra, Avantasia and Dragonforce were some of his favorite bands and his early influences. In time, Dan came to know about singers like Fabio Lione, Michael Kiske, Andre Matos, Eric Adams, and decided that he wanted his voice to sound as skilled and powerful. That decision made him start to join in various courses and music schools to master his voice, studying contemporary singing, classical singing, piano, music theory and music composition. Eventually, Dan started to teach singing to local students as well. With his metal band Fearless Dan released his first EP Ancient Wisdom, which quickly got international attention. The italian label Heart Of Steel Records signed with the band for the worldwide distribution of the album in 2013, bringing Fearless great exposure. The countless positive reviews and Dan's undeniable virtuosity brought him an invite from Juan Aneiros - producer and president of Charlemagne Productions - to appear on The Omens Of Death, the second metal album of the legendary Hollywood actor Christopher Lee. The concept album was released later in 2013 having Dan's participation as the character Oliver. Motivated by those achievements Dan went into the studio with Fearless once again. This time to record their first full length album Chronicles Of Ancient Wisdom. The production was completed and Dan started to reach out to record labels for a distribution deal. However, Dan would find out that all companies would only offer deals that were extremely invasive and disadvantageous to the band. The years went on and Dan kept trying, as he lived off his singing lessons and session work. In October of 2017, frustrated by the failed negotiations with multiple record companies and in grief by his father's death by cancer, Dan decided he would by himself build an audience for his work. Using his YouTube Channel, with only 4 thousand subscribers at the time, he started to publish weekly videos of his vocal performances. Two years later, with a YouTube Channel with 62 thousand subscribers and more than 6 million views, Dan decides to independently release the album Chronicles Of Ancient Wisdom, which was received with praise by his ever growing fan base. The album was released internationally on October 14th, 2019. Currently Dan proceeds into growing his online presence while working Fearless' second album In conjunction with his activities with Fearless, in 2014 Dan joined the Finnish hard rock band OD and in 2015 he flew to Finland to join them on stage and in studio. Due to schedule incompatibilities Dan decided to leave OD to be able to focus on his main project. Dan is also a student in the Music Business course taught by Kiko Loureiro (Megadeth, Angra) and graduated in the Music Careers Mentoring Program mentored by Tom Hess (Rhapsody Of Fire, Holyhell). Dan's Singing Influences Includes Fabio Lione, Michael Kiske, Tobias Sammet, Andre Matos, Eric Adams, John Schlitt, ZP Theart, Rob Rock, Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti, Tony Kakko, Bruce Dickinson, Jon Bon Jovi, Steve Perry, Mathias Nygard, Steve Lee, Steven Tyler, and Jorn Lande. Dan's Music Composition Influences Includes Stratovarius, Helloween, Gamma Ray, Avantasia, Dragonforce, Rhapsody Of Fire, Manowar, Sonata Arctica, Nightwish, Iron Maiden, Turisas, Sabaton, Petra, Journey, Gotthard, Angra, Shaman, John Williams, and Hans Zimmer. |

Search | Add | 2 | Spielman In Bad Company | »Spielman In Bad Company« fortunately for us! Because in the bleak alleys of the morbid music industry the four country boys cook up a mean stew of music: The soul of the blues apparently survived the apocalypse and shines here in full splendor, spiced with noisy elements from the worlds of electronic and hip hop and everything else picked up along the way. Quirky and full of respect for the old masters of the genre, the quartet has redefined this tradition-steeped music. Because with all the hard-earned life-experience they’ve accumulated they hammer a completely new pulse into the blues in countless jams. Undisguised, gripping — let’s call it neoblues. Ron Spielman has been highly regarded for decades by those in the know for his guitar playing and excellent songwriting. With his new sidekicks Uwe Breunig and Joh Weisgerber (both of „The Ruffcats“) and Werner Goldbach he’s brought himself into bad company.

Search | Add | 2 | Champions Of Sound | Former Quicksand bassist Sergio Vega, former model Sibyl Buck and former Chamberlain/Split Lip drummer Charlie Walker have teamed up in Champions Of Sound. The New York group, rounded out by keyboardist Lindsay Jones. Following Quicksand’s dissolution, Vega in 2000 released an EP, “The Ray Martin Sessions,” via GrapeOS. Walker and Buck (on bass) came into the picture on the subsequent tour in support of it, as did Helmet guitarist Chris Traynor, whom Buck later married. Champions Of Sound may surprise fans of Vega’s work with hardcore mainstay Quicksand, as the group’s sound has more in common with the upbeat pop/rock of the Cars and Prince. A new version of “Come Home Soon,” first released on “The Ray Martin Sessions,”
