Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Fs Massaker | Austrian noisy Improvisation Trio with [a=Richie Herbst], [a=Werner Thenmayer], [a=Michael Masen]. Members of infamous Austrian sound terrorists [a=Sex On The Beach] and [a=Regolith (2)] are joined by ayleresque saxophone blasts. Blending Free Jazz with analogue synths and high-energy Rock into a fiercely turbulent and intensely cathartic improvised wall of sound this trio will blow your head off. Imagine a monster truck crashing full speed into a symphonic orchestra playing Mozart.

Search | Add | 3 | Doctors Of Dub | Doctors Of Dub | Doctors of Dub started life in 1991 as an 11-piece collective, based in London, UK, with a shared interest in reggae, jazz & world sounds. Over a period of 6 - 7 years, before personnel began to move on and the band shrunk and mutated into a more studio-based unit called Species, the band toured extensively in the UK giving rave-received live performances at festivals, clubs and arts centres from Penzance to Cupar. Whilst the band was principally a live unit the recorded material was interesting and innovative along broadly dub-reggae lines. Only a handful of DoD recordings exist - a 12" ep 'Themanawar' and 6-track k7 - featuring tracks produced by Jonny 'Milty' Milton (Aswad, Maxi Priest etc) - and the CD ep 'Tartarsaurus'. The band also recorded a session in 1995 for Andy Kershaw's Radio 1 programme. If you take the Soundcloud link below you can hear or download (for free!) all of these tracks plus some recently unearthed live recordings from a gig in St.Austell, Cornwall. A video of Doctors of Dub featuring the bands trademark strange stage attire and some of the characters who used to people the stage - not least the legendary Tartarsaurus - has topped 10,000 viewings on YouTube. The re-mix of one of the bands most popular live tracks around which the video is based (see link below) was performed by Andy Montgomery, a stalwart of the trendsetting On-U Sound crew, and, I hope you'll agree, there are some awesome dub moments. The other two tracks on the ep were re-mixed by Tom 'Another Fine Day' Green and Manchester's hard-hitting Yam-Yam team. In concert DoD eschewed rock-star pyrotechnics (too expensive), opting instead for low-key ultra-violet lighting and face/body painting coupled with vibrant day-glo stage gear. Audiences loved this approach, although various lighting engineers across the country have been known to throw a sulk at the band. The band enjoyed touring and this came across on stage - audiences can sense it and are always happy to join the party. Doctors of Dub personnel (original line-up): Bass guitar: Vernon Munday Rhythm & lead guitar, vocal: John Warner Rhythm guitar: Dom Williams Keyboards & violin: 'Trouser' Dave Thompson Lead vocals: Oli Johnson Alto sax, flute, visuals, backing vox: Chrissy Quayle Trumpet, percussion: Ian Wright Alto & soprano sax: Paul Micah Percussion/visuals: Russell Roberts Drums: Dave Atkin Sound man was Ricky Dear. |

Search | Add | 3 | Gölden Palace | Gölden Palace is a punk rock band from Charleston, South Carolina consisting of Alex Charles Goss, Joseph Kimbrell (Vitne), Graham Spees, Johnny Emmel, and Andy Adkins. The group formed in Summer of 2004 as a four piece (minus Adkins) and recorded their debut album A Little Rock N' Roll. The group returned to the studio in 2008 for a follow-up album to be called Touch Me There, but the sessions were shelved upon their hiatus in 2009. Joseph moved to Norway and played in the Norwegian glam metal bands SEKS and HART before beginning a solo career as Vitne in 2013. The remaining four members continued performing together in South Carolina under the name Savage Tongues. 2015 saw Gölden Palace's reunion with a remastered release of A Little Rock N' Roll as well as their previously unreleased mini-album Touch Me There. In 2017 the group released their third album, the self-titled Gölden Palace.

Search | Add | 3 | Lodis C | Always evolving, never fading, their music is two faces: compassion and malevolence. Lodis C brings forth music that spawns from the unlikely bond of unremitting love and devoted disgust. Creativity is influenced by countless sources yet always builds its foundation from dedication and cooperation. With the release of their EP, “Wait These Days,” understanding is strongly evident in their approach. Within a single song, the band can show you both beauty and hatred. Expect the truth not blinded by the hands of a guilty, lesser society that is based on greed, insults, and lies. This time around, the feelings are real. Sounds of the wounded are sounds of the adored. Experience plays a significant role in their creativity. Each member knows that where beauty can be found, shadows are gravely haunting. When it seems that all is lost, progress can still be made when victim to malicious tactics. From ruins of defeat, the strength to carry on churns from enemies of the past. An indefinite fate will not slow the band in their onward advances. Being familiar with conflict has readied them for the decisions that are ahead. Boundless horizons and an equally abundant driving force guides Lodis C to an echelon above all.

Later on, in 2017, the duo released an live acid techno-based EP made on an Arturia Beatstep, featuring two parts of one song, and a remix. This EP met great reception. Fruit₂o5 met conflict when both members had different interests and more-or-less splientered. The main producer for Glock Tower 43 felt frustrated after feeling as though the vocalist from was not taking the group's future and music seriously enough (and rather floundering about). The Soundcloud-exclusive single, "Shiizua", was made shortly thereafter, the first track featuring the vocalist from Glock Tower 43 showing off his production skills, and the second creating an ambient soundscape with a replacement guest-vocalist. This was a last cry towards the vocalist to make something like Fruit₂o5 once so merrily did. This single was to no avail, with no attention from critics. After realizing that the vocalist put no effort into their part, the producer decided to release an 8 minute extravaganzic single in secret, titled "Hot Tang Skeleton Xylobhone Marimba Jig Time" (referred to as "hot tang skelebones xylophone show jive (1)" on the Bandcamp release). This single is what many may consider the peak of Fruit₂o5, as it ushered in a new wave of fans, and opened another world of sound. The future of Fruit₂o5 is unclear; Will it remain a duo? Will it branch out beyond electronic and hip hop genres? Will new members join? Although those questions cannot be answered, it can be assured that Fruit₂o5 will continue to release music for times to come. "We are watching you. We are helping you. We are Fruit₂o5."

Roger-M has established himself as a DJ and Producer who has strived to emphasize his presense in the music world. Using various monikers; Sieg & Mouzakis (Fritz Sieg & Roger-M), Aspuration (Ray Vera & Roger-M) & his own trademark name "Roger-M"; accomplishments are well noted. The debut Sieg & Mouzakis track; “Body Takes Control” immediately signing with Plastica in the UK & was charted # 1 by Balance Promote Group (which serves as the top progressive DJ pool in the world). Also great success & support on tracks "By Your Side" & "Serenity" on Neutone Recordings; along with the smash "Fading Away" on Tiesto's Black Hole Recordings (which all feature the stellar vocals of Eva). There has been tremendous support of his tracks by Tiesto, Danny Tenaglia, Superchumbo, Oscar G, Sander Kleinenberg, Deep Dish, Solarstone and so on. Whether it’s live or as you listen to one of his tunes, Roger-M wants to take you on an emotional journey, hopefully you will be fortunate to experience it for yourself. |

Search | Add | 3 | The Shamey Jays | San Diego, California The Shamey Jays were born out of a swirling cloud of garage rock, 60s pop rock, punk, roots and "alt-alt," the Shamey Jays appear like rock bodhisattvas, to kick out the jams to all who seek to drink the quenching nectar of jangly guitar and chunky guitar riffs, layered on a bed of tight rhythm and garnished with a crisp sprig of vocal harmonies. The group was founded by OG garage rocker Billy Gruff (aka Dave Howard), a gracefully aging New York punk with attitude and searing guitar chops. Other members have included veteran San Diego scenesters like Jerry Rig, Matt Silvia, and Spud Davenport. All four guys are seasoned pros with a long history of gigging in various genres and scenes in San Diego and across the country.

Search | Add | 3 | Mz. Fishe | Adrienne Fishe | From cdbaby.com: Funk, thump and groove, (with the sophistication of jazz influences), three adjectives from music’s lexicon capture Adrienne Fishe. Backed by her explosive band, “The New Groove”, Mz. Fishe presents a musical tour-de-force on stage. Raised in New York City, Mz. Fishe began singing in front of audiences when she was 7 years old and by the time she was 11, she knew she wanted to be a performer. Some early experiences during her musical journey have included being the 3rd runner up in the “Hal Jackson’s Talented Teen Contest” and a 3 x winner in Ed McMahon’s, all over the internet “Star Search”. In the early nineties, she began singing and performing with a popular Atlanta based band but as her spirit and aspirations grew and changed, she decided to leave the band and set out on her own. Mz. Fishe has shared the stage with Patti Labelle, James Brown, DeLaSoul, The Barkays, Mick Jagger, Diane Reeves, The Temptations, WAR, DeeLite, The Village People, TLC, MCLyte and Billy Preston…just to name a few. She has also performed in Europe, Japan, China, the Caribbean, South America and all over the U.S. and Canada. Mz. Fishe creates a unique sound that blends her essence of funk, jazz and an ultra-cool version of dance grooves. This singer and her band relate like the heart, mind and soul as one, creating an explosive energy that allows this Diva to cast her spell. The band weaves an ultra-hip, ultra-cool amalgam of sound sensibility. The smoothness of Mz. Fishe’s voice laid over percussive textures in the music ignites a soul stirring energy that forces the audience to surrender to its hypnosis. One of her incredibly infectious danceable and uplifting tunes, “You Lift Me Up”, is featured on the European “Sound of Solar Radio” compilations. This is a great tune!!! Her debut release, “Mz. Fishe and The New Groove” can be purchased online at CDBaby.com, iTunes, BestBuy.com, Dustygroove.com, Groovenation.net Stonegrooverecordings.com, Billboardtalentnet.com, Simplysouldistribution.com all over the internet or directly from the artist herself at any one of her many live performances. Mz. Fishe formally toured with the National touring cast of the Broadway smash hit “RENT” as Joanne Jefferson, and with the RENT 10th Anniversary Broadway World touring cast. Currently Mz. Fishe travels and performs internationally as the lead vocalist for Royal Caribbean International. You can find out what Mz. Fishe is up to! Check her out on Facebook, YouTube or www.mzfishe.com! Now, three other words apply…… mesmerizing, mystifying and alluring!! |

Search | Add | 3 | The Cinnamon Firm | Hugh Burns - Vocals, Guitar Joe Curley - Lead Guitar Michael "Denny" Dennison - Organ Jeff Lynas then Kieran McCann - Bass Paddy Johnston then Norm Burns - Drums The band were formed in November 1997 by five friends from belfast's mod / 60s revivalist scene. After only five rehearsals the band played their first gig at Copperfields in Belfast . In April 1998 Kyran McCann took over as Bassist from Geoff Lynas. The five piece were picked up by manager Jim Rielly, erstwhile of from 70's punk legends Stiff Little Fingers. This led to a session at Novatech Studios where they recorded their debut EP (which ended up being an albums worth of material). They took just one day to record 11 tracks. The subsequent release "Cottonwool Crossroads" was very well received, especially within the UK mod scene . The band then toured throughout the UK and Ireland and received some interest from US record labels. 1998 Norm Burns took over Drums from Paddy Johnston and a collection of new songs were then laid down at Ja Studios in March 1999. This led to interest from a well known boxing promoter Dean Powell. The Firm embarked on a frenzied summer of gigs and secured a regular spot at the Creature Club (Vicos). The song 'Doing Me Wrong' from the Ja sessions was penned for a single release in August 1999, however in early August everything started to break down, an american record company that was interested in signing the firm pulled out due to the death of the the record company's owner and soon to follow was the departure of the bands manager Jim Reilly. It wasn't long after that before the band started falling apart due to disappointment more than anything, Joe and Kyran packed their bags which effectively killed off the band, so rather than trying find to replacements and continue along the same path - Hugh and Norm decided to explore new directions while still drawing on their deeply ingrained influences by forming The Keepers. Paddy and Denny went on to form The Penny Dreadfuls (re-named The Dreads) Highlights of the time with the Cinnamon Firm include performing on BBC/ RTE television , playing with such great bands such as Nine Below Zero and of course spending a few hours with the modfather himself ---. Mr Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher , Matt deighton , Paulo Hewitt, Steve White etc in dublin.
