Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 6 | Three Blonde Mice | The Three Blond Mice started out as three blond teenage girls who often performed on the Gene Carroll Show, a Cleveland TV variety show that included amateur and semi-professional musicians and dancers. The original three were Mary Lou Mural, Sandy Mooney, and Ramona (Mona) Garcia. In 1965, the group was renamed [a1777426], with new member Bonnie Racin replacing Mary. This group released a 45 on Ascot. Over the next several years, the group had some different members and eventually as the girls grew up the group became dormant. Sometime around 1972 the group was reactivated with Sandy and Ramona and new third member. called. They restarted as The Promises, and a new record deal with [l14624]. Their first record was a gender changed remake of a lesser [a17970] hit called "Living in the Footsteps of Another Man". This record got some airplay in Cleveland and other cities, and Brunswick (on their BRC subsidiary) released a second 45 of similar quality smooth soul-ish sounds. The song "This Love Is Real" was a remake of a Jackie Wilson recording. This was their last 45, though. There has been rumours that an LP was recorded but nothing to verify that it was ever completed.

Detrick | Alice Detrick, born Alice Mulks and who for a time worked under the name [a=Janece Morgan], was born in Slaterville Springs, NY, on 17 July 1940 to Omar and Emma Mulks. She started performing country and rockabilly music professionally while a student at Ithaca High School, both as a solo artist and with the country band [a=The Tune Twisters (4)] of the Binghamton, NY area, with whom she played and sang regularly on radio stations WINR (Binghamton, NY) and WENE (Endicott, NY). Morgan's big break came at age 16, when she auditioned for [a=Dusty Owens] of the WWVA Jamboree and spent much of the summer of 1956 touring with him. It was Owens who gave her the stage name Janece Morgan, which he said came to him in a dream. Sometime after that tour, she dropped the alias and used her married name [a=Alice Detrick] as a performer and recording artist. She went on as an opening act for tours with [a=Loretta Lynn], [a=Roy Clark], [a=Charley Pride], and [a=The Charlie Daniels Band] and performed with [a=Lynn Anderson] at the Halogaland Country Music Festival in Norway. For 20 years Morgan was known as the “FMCA Sweetheart,” accompanying the Family Motor Coach Association conventions around the United States. In 1985 she was inducted into the New York State Country Music Hall of Fame. As Janece Morgan she recorded several tracks in the 1950s for the label [l=Marlee Record Co.] in Trumansburg, NY, mostly in the country and rockabilly styles. As [a=Alice Detrick], she had several releases including a single on [l=ABC Records]. She died on 22 September 2022 in Montour Falls, NY, at the age of 82. |

Search | Add | 6 | Midi Slut | Michael Poe | Mike Poe began forming his musical interests at an early age. He was fascinated by the use of electronic instruments in modern music and began listening to progressive rock groups such as Emerson, Lake and Palmer and Rick Wakeman in the 70's. It was his mother who introduced him to the experimental electronic tones of Brian Eno and Kraftwerk. His appreciation for these creative styles carried on through high school and followed him into college. During his time at Ohio University, Mike began to create electronic compositions to accompany modern dance pieces and also began to develop his styles as a DJ. His style concentrated heavily on the dark industrial sounds of Front 242 and Skinny Puppy. He added many styles to his DJ repertoire and began to introduce ambient tones and atmospheres to his DJ sets. The Orb was a major influence, which gradually led him to spin more ambient dub styled tracks. In 1993 he moved from Athens, Ohio to Columbus where he introduced his unique style and catalog of recordings to the Columbus scene. He began working with Rob Engel to create atmospheric dark ambient music that became the Midislut project with Mike spinning under the Midislut name. In 1994, he released “Ambiento”, a mix tape of selected ambient tracks, which created a buzz among the underground scene. Shortly after the release of “Ambiento,” Mike was spinning in chill out rooms at many of the now legendary ele_mental parties. Mike followed his release of “Ambiento” with “Project Blossom” in 1995. Mike provided his own compositions at the ele_mental sponsored “Boron” in August 1996. Mike was also involved in electronic music composition in the Columbus area. Contributions include the 21/22 Corp. compilation "Fusion No.5" and "Trace Ele_ments4 EP", a collaboration with Bone Tribe Productions, and an appearance on Black Music's "Adventures in Modern Recording" CD with an industrial jungle track titled "Cycle_7.1". During July of 1996, Mike began to work at the groundbreaking downtown club, Mekka. He immersed himself in the club tracks he heard from such DJ’s as Mike G, Kevy Kev, and Rob Engel along with many of the guest DJ’s who graced the decks. It wasn’t long before Mike teamed up with Doughboy, and spun “Twilight Sundaze,” where he played Chicago house and techno. Mike made Mekka his home for over four years, and attributes much of his appreciation and love for the music to his stay there. Beginning in 1998, Mike made guest appearances at Red Zone and played at many of the “Clockwork Sundaze” events that have made Doughboy famous. He opened for many of the DJ world superstars, such as Josh Wink, Marco Carolla, Charles Feelgood, and Terry Lee Brown Jr. Mike also held simultaneous residencies at both FM and Clique through the Millennium. In December of 2000, Mike traveled to Germany and played two New Years dates in Jena and Altenburg. Upon returning to the states, Mike teamed up with Kate Hazelbaker to start “Barcelona DJs@11,” which blended the eclectic tastes of a tapas restaurant with deep house and lounge style tracks. Mike currently holds residency at Eleven Restaurant and Lounge, spinning deep and tech house. He is a member of the Quality! crew often sharing the decks with his mates Jason Lyman, Jeff Pongonis, and Steve Keck. |

Search | Add | 6 | The Pernell Reichert Band | Vancouver, British Columbia From Vancouver, BC Canada, Pernell Reichert is a singer, songwriter, fast finger-pickin', slide-playin', foot-stompin', razor-sharp entertainer. Whether playing a slow self-penned soulful ballad or rockin' with his toe tappin' 3-piece band, you won't be disappointed in his sound. Pernell has been well received at festivals, pubs, clubs, bars, cafes and coffee houses throughout Western Canada. The band features Pernell on guitar (acoustic & electric), banjo, harmonica and vocals, Ross Christopher Fairbairn on bass and backup vocals and Tom Tischer on drums and backup vocals. Their music is acoustic based roots rock, fast folk, alt-country or cow punk. tarting in the late 90’s Pernell & his guitar lived the life of an itinerant roamer: Tree planting in the mountains of BC, farming on kibbutz’s in the Middle East & Great Britain, working oil rigs in the Canadian oil patch – Pernell perfected his guitar playing style and began to pen the songs that would become his narrative. Performing as a solo artist throughout those early years on the stage of a pub in Bristol, England – or at an open mic on The Drive in Vancouver, BC Pernell developed his unique panache – a style of guitar playing described as high energy with fast finger-picking numbers that keep the audience captivated. In 2004 Pernell founded his first band known as Pernell Reichert and the Hard Drinkers. With a lot of serious hard work that year, the band developed a tight set with an upbeat tempo & a full thick sound. In 2005, with Pernell’s solo album in hand, the band set out on their first month-long debut tour of western Canada. Most of 2006 was spent in the studio preparing their first CD as a band, interspersed with venues that enabled them to refine their performance as a group. In 2007 they embarked on several five-day tours, breaking into the western Canada touring circuit. In 2008 Pernell Reichert and the Hard Drinkers released their self-titled album followed by a 39 day tour of western Canada that took the boys from Vancouver to Winnipeg and back. June to July Pernell toured solo from BC to southern Ontario. The band joined in for August and September. That fall Pernell Reichert and the Hard Drinkers went international with a 10-shows-in-10-days tour of South Africa which produced a live recording later included on their 2011 EP. In 2011 they became The Pernell Reichert Band and released their second CD: “Highway of Tears.” More touring followed with highlights including the 2012 Edge of the world Music Festival in Haida Gwaii, BC; 2013 Wells Festival of all Things Art in Wells, BC; 2013 Rock Creek Fall Fair in Rock Creek, BC (sharing the stage with Fred Penner); the 2014 Rock Creek Fall Fair (sharing the stage with Charlotte Diamond); the 2015 Cowboy Festival in Nordegg, Alberta (sharing the stage with Marty Haggard). 2016 saw the release of their third effort entitled “The Road (You Ain't the One)”.

Search | Add | 6 | Rudolph Peter O'Donnell | Rudolph Peter 0’Donnell was the son of a bandmaster in the South Wales Borderers and the second of three brothers, all of whom were to gain musical distinction. He received his musical education at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and the Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall and as a young band sergeant was posted to Egypt where he directed the personal orchestra of Lord Kitchener. He later served as a bandmaster with the 21st Lancers in India, before returning to England and transferring to the Royal Marines. He served on the Royal Yacht ‘Victoria and Albert’ and at the special request of His Majesty King George V, he and his brothers were commissioned, all three becoming Divisional Directors of Music in the Royal Marines. Later, the brothers attended the same investiture to receive the MVO. In 1931 the Captain of Marines became a Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force and so became the only Director of Music ever to have been in charge of a band in all three Services. In 1936 0’Donnell was promoted to Squadron Leader.

Search | Add | 6 | 30OT6 | Band from Columbus, Ohio Members: Derrick Zajac - Guitar Brent Billet - Vocals Sean Miller - Bass Tim Dillard - Drums Bio: Based in Columbus, Ohio Thirty Ought Six is an innovative, hard-hitting, groove oriented rock band with high focus on melodies. Their well written songs come together naturally, as if they were writing themselves. This is a true statement to the chemistry between the 4 members, who have come together with like minds to create great music, and share it with the masses. Their defiance against musical genres has actually become the band's style, blending pure rock aggression with texture and sound-scapes of sonic melody. Thankful that the four were brought together, they all shared the same feeling that it was somehow meant to be for a reason. They quickly became close friends, each feeling as though they had grown up together. Their musical chemistry and each other bringing different influences and approaches, seems to blend in a way that makes their song writing and music an irresistible experience to behold. The four did not waste any time as they brought Tim up to speed on some previously existing ideas, adding his unique style completed the material. After a few months, they had written an arsenal of commercially viable yet hard hitting new songs. Setting goals are priority for the band, as they started with the behind the scenes work; copyrighting, promo packs, website, and finding the resources to record and release their first EP, during which they also found time to book and play shows on a regular basis. Their hard work had finally paid off, as they entered the John Schwab Recording studio in Columbus, with engineer Joe "Neo" Viers to record their 7 song EP, self titled: "Thirty Ought Six". Here starts the next chapter for the four, where they have to work hard for that once in a lifetime opportunity. They are focused to keep steady the determination to bring their high energy sonic message to the masses, that are unaware that their favorite CD will have Thirty Ought Six written all over it.
