Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 6 | Kin Palo | Kin Palo is “Kin” as in “Family” and “Palo” as in “tree” or “branches.” Their music speaks to the ideas that we are all connected and have more similarities, than differences. We all have the same root desires, needs, and want for connection and are connected even in our differences. Kin Palo makes melodies that explore the waring dualities of human nature, both the dark and light side. Sonically they meddle in the darker side of melodies influenced by Explosions in the Sky, Nine Inch Nails, and Khalid to name a few. Amy Stroup is the lead singer & writer with collaborators from Canada, USA, & beyond. Following on the first album's success of being featured on dozens of television shows including Batwoman, Sense 8, Shannara Chronicles and more, Kin Palo is back with their sophomore work "Glory" featuring the single "Watch This" a collaboration with Night Panda (Dustin Atlas, Julietta) and Amy Stroup. Booming beats, fizzy bass, dark guitars color the albums as heard on "Invincible" and "For The Glory". "For the Glory" was penned by power the team Amy Stroup (Chaka Khan, Andrew Belle, Sugar & The Hi-Lows) and grammy nominated Rob Kleiner (SIA, Labrinth) and Mary Hooper in LA as a response to honoring the life of Kobe Bryant & his daughter. Look for “GLORY” the full length album 10/22/21. Singles “For the Glory” is out October 8th along with “Watch This” October 20th before the album drops October 22nd . | |

While living in London and soaking up its unique brand of Hip-Hop, an insatiable evolutionary drive took Leg-No from mastering Techno and Rave to delving into the groove and bounce of new House. “ ...In his productions you can recognize a really cool fresh and bouncy housey touch. | Search | Add | 6 | J.K. Coltrain | J. K. Coltrain was born in Columbus, Ohio. He spent his early childhood days between there and West Virginia where his parents operated a small Mom & Pop grocery store. His Dad also was an excellent auto mechanic and in fact owned a number of repair shops over the years and was a weekend stock car racer. That's one reason why J. K. is a Nascar fanatic to this day:) J.K. grew up surrounded by music & musicians. His cousin, Buddy Starcher was a professional recording artist on Columbia Records and was a regular performer on the then popular Midwestern & Louisiana Hayrides. He also introduced the late Keith Whitley who first appeared on Buddys weekly radio show in Charleston, West Virginia when he was 8 years old. J. K. made his own first appearance on radio at age 12 and first TV appearance at age 14. His Uncle & Grandpa performed together at churches throughout the South. That's where J. K. made his first appearance singing in church at the ripe old age of 11. His first professional job was at age 14 when he began singing with The Pleasant Hill Quartet. A well-known gospel group at the time. Of course in his teens he had to try his hand in high school dance bands like Fire n' Ice and The Four Aces but by age 20 he had returned to his first love country music. At that time J. K. helped form a 7 piece country rock group called 'The Southern Express'. They garnered a great deal of regional success and opened for many popular groups at that time such as Pure Prairie League, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Poco & The Marshall Tucker Band. In 1983 he left The Southern Express to pursue a solo career as his heart was with more traditional country music. He appeared to be taking the music business by storm as he was often the featured artist on Ernest Tubbs Midnite Jamboree and many popular Nashville nightclubs and was dubbed The Star of Tomorrow by Country Music News. He first cracked the country music charts in 1987 with a self-penned song, West Virginia You're Still My Home on the Studio 7 label. Since then he had enjoyed a number of chart successes including being shown in the Top 40 in Europe for 41 straight weeks. He also has made many appearances on radio & TV including The Nashville Showcase, The Midnight Jamboree, Nashville On Stage, The Jerry Lewis Telethon & Stars of Tomorrow Show. J. K. has toured worldwide and worked with some of the greatest names in country music including Jerry Reed, Loretta Lynn, The Bellamy Brothers, Conway Twitty, Buck Owens, George Jones, Tammy Wynette & Jerry Lee Lewis to name just a few. In addition to still recording and performing on his own J.K. is now helping the new up & coming young artists serving as the President of Colt Records Nashville as well as Nashville Radio Promotions, Chairman of The Traditional Country Opry and hosting The Country Star Showcases. He was recently awarded The Texas CMA Entertainer and Best Country Album of The Year awards. J. K. Coltrain is a member of: Traditional Country Hall of Fame Country Music Association Academy of Country Music Country Legends Association Americana Music Association

| Search | Add | 6 | Jahfa Culture | Jahfa Culture was born in Sheffield, UK and currently resides in the Tampa Bay Region of Florida, USA. His earliest musical influence began at the age of 14 as a drummer with reggae band “Inner Strength” and his earliest singing inspiration started with Dennis Brown. He started performing across the Yorkshire and Midlands territories at the age of 15. In his late teens after arriving on the scene in London and learning about music and the reggae industry he received great vocal advice from Neil Fraser AKA Mad Professor, producer at Ariwa Records (London) and Jah Shaka (London) which he still uses today. In 1986 Jahfa Culture teamed up with Jah Tubby’s (London) to produce the soundman anthem and now highly sought-after “Listen to We”. Since then Jahfa Culture has worked with Rootsman Carl from the Roots Connection (London) producing “Commando Commando” & “Baby I Love You” (1987), Mike Maverick with Action Records (Nottingham) producing the singles “When I See You Cry” & “Party Time”, produced the collaboration album “Truth, Justice & the Raggamuffin Way”, worked with Speng Gorgon in Sheffield producing “Rain From the Skies” and self-produced “I’m Gonna Make Sure” on Commando Records (Sheffield), backed by The Steel City’s Mighty Mosiah Warrior band. Jahfa Culture has also performed with various soundsystems such as Young Rebel (London) and Kumasi Warrior (Sheffield). In 2003 he founded “Freestyle Vocals” based out of Sheffield, UK and has since expanded the business into the Tampa Bay Region, USA. He has taught well over 2,000 singers from various parts of the UK and beyond, covering a wide array of diverse musical styles and received his Certification in Vocal Studies at Sheffield University. Moving forward into 2012 and Jahfa Culture is still going strong; Look out for the release of “Revelation Time” in September 2012, produced by Crucial Steve at Righteous Works (London) and written by Jahfa Culture, voiced at Pedro EA Production in St. Petersburg, FL and lyrically inspired by the times in which we are living in. Jahfa Culture would like to thank his wife for putting the biography together, and Crucial Steve for making this project happen. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | José Moriche | José Fernández De Alba | José Moriche was a Spanish singer born on August 31, 1890 in Burguillos del Cerro (Badajoz), Spain. José Moriche made his debut at the Teatro Real in Madrid in 1918, obtaining a resounding success with “El Barbero de Sevilla”. José Rabanal Santander affirms that Moriche lived in Barcelona, from where we suppose he would travel to his hometown and Badajoz. He soon formed an opera company and embarked for Cuba where apparently things should not have gone very well. It is at that moment when he decides to sing alone or in a duet, obtaining a resounding success that forces him to travel throughout the southern cone, recording for the best record companies. He performed in Mexico, Colombia and Cuba, and then in New York where he is called upon to record popular songs. In 1923 he began recordings in the company of the Colombian Víctor Justiniano Rosales, for the Gennett label, then he made duets from 1925 with Antonio Utrera, Margarita Cueto, Arturo Patiño, Juan Pulido, Rodolfo Hoyos, Pilar Arcos, and Laura Magaña among others. Moriche recorded on labels such as Victor, Brunswick and Columbia. One of the most famous duos was the one formed with Guty Cárdenas. In the last years of his life, Moriche set up a restaurant on Long Island, and there he used to perform romances, operatic arias, and heartfelt folk songs while serving the clientele. Moriche's fame was so great that he was selected to accompany Carlos Gardel in the movie “El Tango en Broadway” as an actor, with a prominent role. José Moriche became a kind of myth. All attempts to know how the days of that tenor ended have been useless. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Merle Tillotson | Merle Alcock (February 6, 1884 - March 1, 1975) was an American contralto who sang with the Metropolitan Opera in 236 performances from 1919 to 1929, officially signing in with them in 1924.[1] Alcock's concert debut was in London in 1914.[2] She also sang with the Boston and New York Symphony Orchestras.[2] She found a patron in Mrs. Charles Schwab in 1916.[3] Mrs. Schwab was herself a singer as a young woman. Alcock first sang at the Met in a performance of Verdi’s Requiem Mass on Dec. 14, 1919. Her opera debut was on Nov. 15, 1923, when she sang the role of the fiddler Beppe in L’amico Fritz. Alcock trained other singers in her retirement such as Eileen Farrell. Alcock was born Merle Tillotson in Andover, Missouri, to Zula and the Reverend Elijah Tillotson. She graduated from Drake University’s Conservatory of Music in 1906. She married Bechtel Alcock, a tenor, in 1914.[4] The two would often perform together.[2] She died on March 1, 1975, and is buried in Wooster Cemetery in Wooster, Ohio.

| Search | Add | 6 | Skinbat Scramble | Forged around the friendship of Mark Eason and Fergus Crockford, but with ever changing line-ups, flowing in and out during misspent youths, self-taught playing, falling in and out of bands, travelling that well-worn journey from Home Counties boredom to the excitement of a rough edged London, taking in as much music as possible, from Motown on to the The Velvet Underground, The Rolling Stones, Bowie, Pink Floyd, Gong and Fripp & Eno, before Dr Feelgood, Eddie & The Hotrods and a dose of John Peel led to discovering Dub and Punk and witnessing that short-lived burst of creativity at the Roxy Club, Marquee or Vortex and exploring back to early Rock’n’Roll, Rockabilly and old Surf’n’Soul, alongside the likes of Wire and Suicide. As the Post-Punk sounds mixed simultaneously with Two-Tone, local Art College gave way to university and the early struggles of finding a way in the late 70s / early 80s of Thatcher’s Britain. Music was central, Skinbat Scramble finally appearing, morphing from numerous teen bands, early studio excursions of tape loops and effects leading to the first recording sessions in 1981. The slower tempos, introspection, open structures, and shimmering experimentation of Post Punk were pivotal. John Foxx’s early Ultravox, Siouxsies’ “Lord’s Prayer” period and The Electric Chairs seminal “So Many Ways”, influenced to a freer future. PIL, ACR, Section 25 and Pink Military let imaginations briefly roam. ‘Far out and weird’, those first recordings made at Leeds Uni’s Fine Arts Dept utilized Revoxes, Tandberg, MiniMoog and even a borrowed drummer. This was followed up with completed sessions at Elephant Studios in London, forming the basis of a myriad of music that was unreleased for 20 years but is now seeing the light of day, first in a series of compilation CDs and a 2 x LP on Emotional Rescue. | |
