Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Ricardo Parronchi | Destra (Brazilian Prog Rock Band) | Destra had its embryo in 1997 with the name of Aquila, as Ricardo Parronchi was a bassist in a hard rock band with the same name formed by Túlio Regis, ex-G3 (vocal) workshop, Dico, ex-Katsbarnea (guitar) ), playing today with Catalau (ex-coup d'état) and Victor Alexandre, (drums). With the end of the band, Ricardo Parronchi decided to start a progressive rock band, still using the name Aquila, since the idea of the name had been his. The proposal was to make a heavy sound but with a lot of melody, mixing metal and progressive rock among other styles like jazz, mpb and blues. The lyrics will be sung in English and although they are not religious, directly or indirectly, they would all have a Christian message. It took 1 year until the members of what would be training for the first record in the studio were found, a demo entitled “Out of the game“, which had 4 songs and had in its formation Douglas Vanuchi (vocals), Eduardo Parronchi, brother of the bassist (guitar), Victor Alexandre (drums), Ricardo Parronchi (bass) and Marcos Ian (guest musician, keyboard), shortly after recording the demo Victor leaves the band and then Fabio Fernandes (ex-Portrait) enters ) With the demo in hand the band gets a contract with Megahard Records for a full album, although due to some differences the band changes its label in the middle of the recordings and signs with Destroyer Records, ending as well as recordings of the CD at the end of 1999, with co-producer guitarist Heros Trench, (Korzus) and also counting on Marcos Ian as a guest on keyboards. Changing the name to Destra, the band then released in January 2000 their 1st CD Sea of Doubt, containing 10 songs, the work obtained a great repercussion from the public and critics, being highly praised by all magazines and specialized sites , even without exterior. After the release of the CD, a band performs several tests with keyboardists and finally gets a fixed keyboard, Marcelo Saorim, then performing programs in several cities and states in Brazil, being invited to cable and radio programs like BACKSTAGE (from legendary Vitão Bonesso) in BRASIL 2000. In 2001, a band had a very low loss with the departure of vocalist Douglas Vanuchi, a band was almost sold out and with several shows scheduled when it happened. After fulfilling some commitments the vocalist leaves the band definitively for personal reasons and after a few months of testing the replacement would be Ricardo Cassau, but due to scheduling problems he would not stay long in the band. With no way to postpone the band, he then calls José Ricardo (ex-singer of Dream Theater cover), as a guest singer to sing in 2 bonus songs for the re-release of the CD Sea of Doubt. With him the band played some shows and would still participate in the "Tribute to Viper and Angra", an event that featured some of the main metal bands in the country. It is worth remembering that Destra was highly praised by André Matos himself (ex-vocalist from Angra and currently on Shaman), being mentioned even on its official website, it was during this period that the band started to have the idea of making a conceptual CD with several vocalists participating. The band would still do several tests with vocalists arriving again to count on Ricardo Cassau and Alexandre Silva for some shows, then in 2002 they started the pre-production of the rock opera “Joe´s Rhapsody” and it was at that time that the band met vocalist Neno Fernando (currently on Abstract Shadows), the vocalist participated in the pre-production of some songs, then he was invited to sing in the music video for “You Should Believe“ (this version was included on the CD of the 2nd Metal Mission compilation). At that time, keyboardist Marcelo Saorim left the group, being replaced in a short time by Maxsuel Rodrigo (Divine Works), who quickly adapted to the band, actively participating in the band's new compositions. Vocalist Neno also participated in the song “Dry Way” (for the project “The Book of Exodus”, sharing vocals with Ricardo Parronchi) and made a small participation in the song “Mother, Father” for the tribute of the band Journey, already that most of the music was sung by the bassist. He also did several shows with the group, including a highly praised performance in the tribute to the band Stryper, which had in its cast the biggest white metal bands of the national scene, but despite having a beautiful voice, his melodic style did not fit with the band, which was taking a notoriously more seventies course, which made the band start looking for a new singer again. At that time bassist Ricardo Parronchi was recording the song “Waiting in God” with some friends, which would be the entry song for the project “The Book of Exodus” (since the band invited to work, Stauros, cannot participate in the last minute, because a 3-member low had happened), when he met a vocalist who caught his attention precisely because he had a timbre and way of singing that was very different from what he was seeing on the scene at the time, because his voice reminded him a lot the 70's hard rock vocalists, vocalist Rodrigo Grecco. Ricardo then invited him to sing the project's song with him, the result was so satisfactory that Rodrigo was invited to be part of the band Destra. In 2003, the band left its former record label and closed a contract with two record labels in partnership (Avantage and Frontline Records), and after recording the instrumental and some guest vocalists' participation, the label together with the band decided to launch a first version of “Joe´s Rhapsody” (scheduled for early February) with Rodrigo sharing the vocals with the bassist Ricardo, thus showing the new phase of the band, not abandoning however the initial idea of launching this CD with several vocalists scheduled for the second semester of 2004. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Rolf Langebartels | Rolf Langebartels, born 1941 in Mirow/Mecklenburg, lives in Berlin since 1961. He creates installations using light, sound and kinetic sculptures. Movement and sounds characterize Langebartels sound sculptures as event sculptures. Each of his sculptures has its own particular time structure, its own particular rhythm. Following this rhythm the sculpture moves or sounds or emits light. All sculptures are controlled automatically, most of them by a random time structure. Arranged together in a space they form an ensemble of events, that pulses in a complex rhythm with sequences and coincidences and pauses. Rolf Langebartels founded the non-profit gallery Galerie Giannozzo in 1978. Gianozzi played an important part in the early days of sound-art, presenting early exhibitions & performances by Rolf Julius, Christina Kubisch, Toine Horvers, Fritz Gilow, Raffael Rheinsberg, Takehisa Kosugi, Martin Riches, Philip Corner, Alvin Curran, Felix Hess, and many more. In 1986 the gallery was transformed into the art association Kunstverein Giannozzo. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Briars Frome | "Briars Frome"……. A small village in deepest Norfolk….nothing exceptional about it, just a few houses, a pub, the parish church….and the grand old Manor house “Briars Court” watching over it all…..nothing exceptional…..but for one thing…..it disappeared. …or rather, it was forgotten…no one went there and no one came from there. All memory of it in the surrounding villages began to fade and talk of it stopped, after a while it did not even appear on any signposts or maps of the area. All of this began in 1965, shortly after Ray and Ron Verne bought and moved into Briars Court. The Verne Brothers were a rock and roll sensation and with their new found wealth they decided to buy a country house where they could record and party and enjoy all the things that being a rock and roll star in the 60’s could bring… ….but The Verne Brothers are also forgotten… Now the road that once led to and from the village is overgrown, hidden, and the few cars that pass that way drive by unaware of what lies just beyond the heavy, dark treeline…. …..however, if you stand in the right place, at the right time, through the trees you can see the crumbling chimney stacks of the old Manor house and hear the dull sound of the old Church bell carried on the wind…..as the crows circle overhead….. ....people started to notice strange radio sounds and interference hidden at the extreme ranges of the dial...only heard in certain areas and at certain times unaware how close they were to the forgotten village...and unaware of the eyes watching and the hands reaching... | |

He began to distribute his music on SoundCloud going under a persona named ‘jxcques’ which was later changed after the release of his 2020 mixtape ‘qoru, vol. 1’. In February of 2021 he released the following sequel, ‘vol. 2’. In an interview he stated; “Looking back on them, I’m not really fond of how basic they were. But I remember they were merely my way of starting out and getting onto the hip-hop scene.” Later in the year, he resubmitted both ‘vol. 1’ and vol. 2’ on streaming services as a joint project, named ‘growing up’. After he found his place in the industry, qoru shook the ground with project after project, making 2021 not only his sophomore year as a producer but his most fruitful year to date. These projects would include ‘THE LAST STRAW’ as well as releasing his first commercial album ‘Dropout’ featuring Kid Jac and Mxlly. His second album, ‘Intoxicated’ (released 29th October) held no features and reached the number one placement on the Bandcamp discover page for instrumental hip hop before its release. “Heaven (You're Gone)” was used as the headlining song for a bandcamp radio exclusive, titled ‘The Hip Hop Show’ Episode 25, hosted a week before the album release, on 22nd October. Finally, Intoxicated is currently at an astonishing 10,000 plays (and counting) on bandcamp. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Atunga | In the summer of 1990, guitarist Scott Phipps and drummer Steve Schuman, formerly of Axis, gave flamboyant singer Gregory Paul Cherone an opportunity to front their hard rock band. With the addition of bass player, Derek Avery, and a revamped determination, the dye was cast. They borrowed a name that belonged to an exotic dancer from Rio de Janiero and called themselves, Atunga. Their music was noisy, rhythmic, and laden with catchy hooks that soaked into your brain until you became a believer. Unlike the onslaught of mindless heavy rock, Atunga has a coherent repertoire that deals with real emotions and often times a genuine message. The songs are what mattered most. And the band put all their energy into each one of them. A distinctive hard rock sound wailed out of Boston, Massachusetts in the early 90's. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Pad Beryll | Since 1997 the likeable Swiss DJ Pad Beryll is performing behind the DJ Desk and is ever since addicted to house music. Driven by fascination and passion he brought his style to perfection and he loves to pass his elegant and uplifting house to others in order to celebrate a great party with them. It’s due to his outstanding reputation as a talented Deejay that famous clubs such as the „Elephant Club“ located in St. Gallen, the „Bolero Lifestyle Club“ in Winterthur or „the boot“ located in Konstanz (Germany) book him regularly. The result of a long-lived friendship with his DJ-collegue Marco Berto is his resident place in the line-up of his famous Deep Love events. Since 2002 Pad is working as adviser and artist director in terms of house music for the „Firehouse Moods Club“ located in Weinfelden Switzerland. In the same club he is also responsible for the specials (i.e. special acts) at Gigs like „Delicious Minds“ which is known as the one and only House-Party of the canton of Thurgau, taking place every two months and on a regular base hosting acts like KneeDeep, Jamie Lewis, Ian Carey, Panevino and Lisa Millett. Pad has as well been elected for continuous performances at the legendary „Masters of Disaster“ events. Due to this long-standing co-operation with M.o.D. the smart DJ was from 2005 – 2009 part of the M.o.D. recordings crew, which is a Swiss house label being known for innovative and qualitative Sound. Periodically he used to mix the M.o.D. radio shows which were being broadcasted internationally and his mixes appealed in the world of house enthusiasts. Proudly Pad Beryll was in October 2007 able to release on M.o.D. recordings his first studio work – a remix of Spain’s 2Brothers of Soul. Furthermore renowned labels such as Purple Music and Tricirle Rec. released remixes as well. His first own production came out in co-operation with well-known Andrea Love „The Voice“ (Hit: Shined on me). Out of it emerged the title „Under Your Spell“ which will be released early summer 2010 by the Label Reelgroove (UK). Overall, Pad Beryll was able to achieve high esteem supraregionally and meanwhile belongs to the most experienced and popular Deejays of the eastern part of Switzerland. | |

Active in the late 1980s - mid 1990s, the group, which has been established since 1987, were famous for their songs such as "Bila Nur Melimpah Di Hati" and "Nun Di Sana". In the 80's, when rock dominated the entertainment stage, young people wore tight jeans and sun t-shirts, long hair and Aliph shoes became a nationwide trend, that's when the group set foot and no one was aware of its emergence. Started by performing at religious sermons. They once recorded albums in a water channel in Kg. Sg. Penchala. At that time they didn't have a proper recording studio or musical instruments. They also haven't named their group yet. They were known back then as the "Kumpulan Nasyid Putera-Putera Al-Arqam Malaysia". | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Unterhholtz | The name Unterhholtz derives from “Unterholz”. The band has stated that the project represents their laziness and their refusal to get a job. The band claims they were formed in and have been releasing music since 2000, but there's little evidence to support this. Many of those releases appear to be non-existent, while others were created after 2022 and given fictional earlier release dates. While a handful of demos have been uploaded to YouTube by the band, most of those albums have not been given physical releases or digital downloads. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Fanny Reed Hammond | Fanny Bliss Reed (1875-1969) was a musician, curator, and benefactress of the arts, for whom the Pine Manor College Fanny Reed Hammond Collection of Keyboard Instruments was named. The daughter of Rev. Dr. Edward Allen Reed and Mary Bliss Reed, Mrs. Hammond was for most of her life a resident of Holyoke, Massachusetts. She married William Churchill Hammond, noted organist, at the Second Congregational Church of Holyoke where he was music director (today the United Congregational Church) on June 28, 1898 and they had two sons, William Churchill Hammond, Jr. and Lansing Van der Heyden Hammond. In the 1920s she appears to have arranged sheet music for the violin and piano, published under C. W. Thompson & Co. of Boston. She was curator of the Skinner Musical Collection for many decades, appearing to likely have taken up the mantle as the main curator at Wistariahurst after the death of Nils J. Ericsson, a contemporary of Arnold Dolmetsch, after his death on February 17, 1933. This coincided with the same year the catalog of that collection was first released under the commission of William Skinner (II). Mrs. Hammond would remain with the Wistariahurst collection as curator up through its donation to Yale in 1960, and recorded at least 2 records of her narration and explanation of its instruments. | |
