Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Arbirk | Lead singer Rasmus Arbirk has, after breaking up his band Dead Young Oaks, which was chosen for the Danish music competition Karrierekanonen in 2013 with eg. Minds Of ́99, pulled the plug completely from the musicscene. But only for a small period of time, as he has used the time to reflect on his own life and his music. And with only himself to answer for he has recorded his debutalbum where both the music and the lyrics depicts an artist that has the audacity to be both fragile and reckless at the same time. The songs are about love, loss, anger and pain and with deep empathy, Rasmus invites the listener on a journey through the darkest, but also most beautiful parts of the mind. The debutalbum Disguises can be understood and experienced in many ways. Completely aware and intentional, several different stories, metaphors and themes are being waved in and out of each other throughout the whole album. After falling asleep, our main character moves through a dream and nightmare world, where at first the past is being examined. Initially it is almost therapeutic and constructive, but during the course of the album/night it becomes more and more incoherent and violent. Along the way our main character loses sight of her/himself and can no longer recognize what he/she has become. It all ends on Bridge Queen Louisa where a longing for what might be on the other side of death causes our narrator to throw him/herself into death. Only to wake up from dreaming, now completely aware that something needs to be fixed. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Unsifted | The story of Unsifted begins in 1999 thanks to the musical passion of four friends. Our first line-up, consisting of Dario on bass, Emiliano on electric guitar, Filippo on drums and Cristiano vocals and guitar, was already born with quite clear ideas about the musical genre with which to try our hand: melodic punk-hardcore. Today, in fact, after 4 years, we are doing nu-metal and there are five of us. But let's go back... The first times were not easy at all in fact we were 4 complete rookies, that is no one had ever taken, or almost, the instrument in hand; and I'm not talking about the first saw ... Anyway, without being discouraged by the certainly not exciting results of the first times we found ourselves to try, with a spirit of self-denial, sweat (especially Filippo) and fatigue, after some time we became familiar with our instruments and things improved considerably. In a few months we had already managed to reach our first goal, that is to do "Bullion" by Millencolin in a way that is not decent but acceptable. Then we were composing melodic punk-hardcore songs on repeat and, I swear, some of them weren't bad at all, one above all "skaters" (our most avid fans still remember her!). The germ of a new sound, however, was already creeping into the group and a short time later the first song was born that didn't fuck us with what we were doing, "Smelling plastic people", but it was a success. At our first concert, organized by the Godzilla social center at the Three Bridges, as many as 1 person came to compliment us in person and told us that the song he liked best was just that. From that moment our music began to take a slightly different turn and the group changed its appearance with the arrival of Marco on vocals in 2001, finally defining the genre musical; nu-metal indeed. But the soul and spirit of the first bands that inspired us have not been completely lost and recently someone told me that the reason they like us is that deep down in our music you can still hear the influences of the early days. And in fact he is not completely wrong. From the moment Marco joined the band, the live activity of the group began to be more frequent and, after getting to know us, as much as possible, in the Livorno music scene, in July 2002 we recorded our first self-produced demo which, despite its sonic immaturity, obtained excellent feedback from critics and some fanzines wrote about us: "... the 4 pieces contained in the demo connote and underline the thick and powerful sonority of the band, alternating with melodic spaces of remarkable workmanship. " With this demo we managed to accumulate other more interesting live experiences towards the end of 2002, including a truly unforgettable one at the central Telethon show in Piazza dei Cavalieri in Pisa. Beautiful because we were able to play to the fullest of our potential with an excellent system and high professionalism of the people who worked at the event, but above all because after us nothing less than "The cousins of the countryside" are mounted on the stage !! Executioner, what moments ... (With all due respect to the country cousins and their hairstyles ... At the beginning of 2003, like any newcomer group, we began to participate in the first competitions and events both at a regional and national level and thanks to the participation in "Sanremo Rock", where we won the regional selection that took place at the Blus Up in Venturina. , we were able to play in several well-known clubs in the province of Pisa and Lucca, up to the national final which took place in Sanremo in February 2003 (it was cold and we were dying) where, however, due to health reasons, our bassist he was replaced for the occasion by the very famous Daniele Catalucci (Virginiana Miller). In the provincial context, on the other hand, it is worth noting the excellent experience of the "rock emergency" competition which saw us reach the provincial final and consolidated our position in the Livorno music scene. Thanks to this event we got in touch with the organizer of the show who will supervise the realization of the new promo-cd that we will record in September | |

Vileika grew up in a suitcase, travelling the red dust of Africa, busy with the liberation movements of the 1970s. At the age of three she was seen dancing with Mozambican village women, at four she used to sleep in her suitcase in various airports, and at five she was sailing the Indian Ocean in a beautiful old Dhow. Childhood music included South African boot dance, Swedish jazz and lots of American folk and roots. Early studies in piano and vocals gave Vileika a musical base. She sang solo and in choirs as a child, toured in punk bands and street theatre groups as a teenager, and later enjoyed formal music studies in colleges and at Royal College of Music in Stockholm. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Winter Watercolors | "Ends With The Sea" & "Winter Watercolors“ "Winter Watercolors - Years 1984-1988" They started rehearsing in the Spring of 1983, under the name “Ends With The Sea”. The founding members were : Antonis B. Koukios (guitar, lead vocals, composition, lyrics), Platon Tsoulos (drums) and Spiros Anagnostou (bass and founding member of “Not 2 Without 3”). They performed at various gigs in Athens (at “Skiahtro” club, “Broof”, “Vitreau” and a lot of festivals), playing their earliest songs, “La Morte”, “Years”, “Suicide”, “Take Me”, “Mirrors Inside Mirrors” and more, all of them composed by Antonis B. Koukios. The following year, Spiros Anagnostou left and George K. Koukios (brother of Antonis B. Koukios, and founding member of “Morel”) became his replacement in the band. Unfortunately, during the Autumn of 1984 the band broke up. 1985 : a new beginning for the band, with a different name. “Winter Watercolors” (inspired by an Antonis B. Koukios’ poem). Besides Antonis Koukios and Platon Tsoulos, new members were added : Vasilis Nakis (synths, composition), Dimitris Dimitriou (bass, backing vocals, composition) and Manos Konstantinidis (guitar, backing vocals, percussion, composition). The new members brought new fresh ideas. Their sound was enriched with various pop, jazz and funk elements, taking its definitive, compact and solid form, as can be heard on the record. They started their live appearances once again (clubs like “Cat’s Meow”, “Skiahtro”, “Tracks”, “127db”, “Swing”, “Vitreau” hosted and supported them). In May 1987 they participated in the 1st School contest (with Sarra Galanopoulou on piano) at Sporting stadium, winning the first place. The price was the participation in 2 concerts at “Park”- Pedio Areos, supporting established Greek bands and artists of that period, like “Last Drive”, Pavlos Sidiropoulos, “Tripes” and Dimitris Poulikakos. Their first ever studio recordings took place in 1987 at “Studio +Ena” and remained in their original reel-to-reel tape format till our days. “Mirror Inside Mirrors”, “La Morte (1st version)”, “Time After Time”, “I Suppose”. They appeared in various radio shows, interviews and reviews for their live gigs, while they participated in “Morel’s” first album presentation at “Cat’s Meow” club, along with “Morel” and Giorgos Dimitriadis & Little Heroes. The same year they were chosen by the Ministry of Culture (along with “Lefki Simfonia” and “Rodondo Rocks”) to represent Greece at the 2nd new artists Biennale Festival in Barcelona, Spain. They received some very positive reviews from the Spanish media, and were congratulated in person by Spain’s Ministry of Culture. Just before their trip to Barcelona, they recorded “La Morte (2nd version)” and “Across The Water” at “Studio 111”. “La Morte” was chosen by the Spanish organizers to be included in the official LP-compilation of the 2nd Biennale. In 1988 they recorded “It’s Too Late” and “Alibi” at “Studio Tracks” and participated at Italy’s Biennale pro-festival, which took place in Bari. They were praised enthusiastically by the Italian media, and hosted on Italian television and radio shows. After their return to Greece, they played their last gig at “An” club in Athens and thereafter disbanded permanently. 28 years after their last show, Geheimnis Records with its 24th release, presents the complete studio recordings of the band + 2 songs (from their first live gig in 1984 at Lofos Strefi) from the “Ends With The Sea” era, in 300 hand-numbered copies, 179 of them in black and 109 in transparent orange vinyls. All songs have been remastered by Manos Konstantinidis and mastered for vinyl by Chris Manolitsis. Includes insert with lyrics, photos and a bio/history of the band. The album “Years 1984 – 1988” is dedicated to the memory of our good friend and member of Winter Watercolors, Dimitris Dimitriou. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Armi Grano | Originally from the Philippines, Armi started singing at the age of 2 during family gatherings. She learned the songs by listening to radio stations broadcasted through US Airbases. She has always loved the great American standards and sang along with Frank, Sarah and Dean while she was growing up. Armi turned professional at the age of 16 singing popular cover tunes as a means to support herself through university. Immigrated to Canada in 1987, she decided to put a hold on singing until 1995 after she watched Kenny Colman, a jazz/saloon crooner performed with the Miles Black trio at the old Chardonnay’s Restaurant in Vancouver, BC • She decided that she would learn this exciting type of music by attending jazz workshops and watching and listening to various jazz performers. She eventually landed a gig at Casbah Jazzbah Bar belting jazz standards arranged by Miles Black himself • In 1999, Armi released her debut album “Satin Dreams” produced by Gabriel Mark Hasselbach, which was well received and became one of the top independent albums in Vancouver. While she was busy promoting the album and performing at various shows, she was diagnosed with breast cancer in the summer of 2000. Her singing career was once again put on hold so she could receive cancer treatments. Towards the end of 2001, she released her second album “Latin Color” which sparked her comeback and a hope that she will stay for good. Two more albums came after which were “Feelin’ Fine” and the Christmas album “Holiday Party”. | |
